As you enter the usual Gobstone Practice field you will see that the ground has been changed to be an even grassy area. On the grass, you will find many different booths. The carnival games for all ages are located all around as well as a nice size fun house for children to enter. There are food vendors scattered throughout the field and clowns walking around doing balloon art for children as well as a few painting stations.
In the center of the field is a nice size dunk tank with a schedule of when your favorite players might just be sitting in the hot seat. Games, fun house, and especially the dunk tank will take tickets that can be purchased in the green booths located near the front gate.
Does it feel warmer since you entered the field? Well, it should since the Magical Sports team made sure to place heating charms to ensure a pleasant day for all.
OOC: There is no one RPing as the clowns or food vendors so play how you like with those. For the dunk tank just place the players name in your title so that they know you are wanting to dunk them!

When Adi had found out about this activity, he wasted no time in signing up. This was going to be DOUBLE the fun even though he was going to be on the dunking end. Plus, he wanted to help out the Stemp House. There was a soft spot in his heart because that was the House he and Benny had adopted Raj from. Anyway, the guy (sunglasses removed and all dressed appropriately) was all set! Let the attempts to dunk him begin!
Kevin was having second thoughts about signing up for this entire thing. He sat there when it was his turn feeling awkward and out of place as hell. And Mason was going to stop by... Damn. His closest and only friend was going to have a field day with this. The Quidditch player glared off into the distance. Yes, this was a huge mistake.

How did his mother talk him into these things? She was always getting him to do this or that and if it wasn't her it was his sisters. All of them had him wrapped around their fingers, though Bart would never admit that to the public. He had gone soft as he grew up and he loved it and hated it all at the same time.
Now that he was here though, he knew his son would love all the fun there was and grandma would spoil him so much that the child would probably not sleep for a week. As they walked around checking things out he stopped in front of the dunk tank. Thankfully it wasn't his turn yet, but he did notice someone sitting on the hot seat and he smiled.
"Kevin thing my throwing skills are as good as my beating?" Paying for the three balls he took them in his hand. "Let's find out." He laughed before taking his first throw.
Stepping onto the field, Delyth couldn’t help but feel the difference in temperature, loosening her sunshine yellow cardigan slightly. Why on earth had she come here she didn’t know but being stuck inside simply wasn’t an option. Smiling slightly at the people who were already on the dunk tank now, her natural bubbliness managing to prise its way out of her, she continued to walk around and look for something of interest.
Sometimes, being a child at heart was a bad thing but here, it didn’t matter. Anyway, it wasn’t only children who could paint, adults could too… or at least that’s what she told herself as she walked over to one of the painting stations, a slight twinkle in her eyes.
As she usually does once doing something, her face glazed over as she focused, her hand tracing the outline of something unknown to anyone but her, her tongue sticking out of her mouth to one side.
Melody and her son Braxley arrived hand and Hand. As they walked smelling the delicious carnival foods. Her son was only 3 years old. He was very much like his father. Bright blue eyes and light brown hair. "Mommy Mommy, Cotton Candy!!!!" Braxley shouted. "Braxley calm down sweetie, you'll have some kiddo" She waited in line for cotton candy. As someone bumped into her.

Maybe his time would pass and there would be no one there who would take an aim at him? Maybe everyone was tired of this game by now? Maybe all the wanted to do was to have their faces painted or eat food?
Maybe not.
The sound, the familiarity of that voice left Kevin- without any indubitably of whom it belonged to. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes. “Take your best shot. I bet you’re going to miss anyway.’’ And he steeled himself for the throw. If it was on target, he’d be taking a plunge into that water. It was most definitely too late to back out. Then again, everyone who took a shot at him just might miss...

Eliana was thrilled to be going to the Carnival thing that her dad had been talking about for months. She knew he was going to be playing in some muggle game, but that didn't interest Eliana one bit, no, she was here for the games, face paint, and food.
Having both sets of parents being Professional Quidditch players had its ups and downs, today was the downs. Every few minutes they were stopping for autographs and pictures.
Eliana bored walked a bit in front of them until she overheard a little boy (Braxley) shout. "Oh Cotton Candy, where?" Her attention going to the boy and his mother. "Is it good cotton candy or gross flavored." You never knew if they would try to experiment with flavors. While she was standing there with the cotton candy she noticed in the section right next to them someone looking at the face paint. "Are you getting your face painted?"
An adult, getting their face painted? How cool was that. Maybe her mum would do it if she asked.

A grin crossed his lips as Kevin played along. He was very confident in his abilities, but he wasn't use to the balls so small or not having a bat. The first throw showed that he wasn't all that great at it as it came up shot. That was alright Barth could do better next time, "Just warming up."
Laughing a little he couldn't look bad in front of his child either. So picking up the second ball he looked at it and took time to grip the ball as correctly as he thought it should be. Looking at the target and then to Kevin he was ready for his second throw.

Fundraiser at the Stemp House?
Of course, they would be participating.
It had, after all, been the Stemp House where they had gotten their adoption assistance and Rajesh had been added to their family. So, the place had a special place in his and Adi’s hearts. And then the Department of Games and Sports wrangling gobstones players into helping with manning the dunk tank, adding just another reason for them to be there. With or without the thought of seeing his husband deal with all the dunking and water shenanigans. Who doesn’t love a carnival after all?
Raj balanced on his shoulders, they had explored the various games and excitement, the boy laughing and having good fun almost the entire time. Even some treats since Rajesh definitely leaned towards his badger father's sweet tooth. The duo eventually wandered back to the tank, to watch as various players went up against the public, only to find it was Adi’s turn. “Look Raj…someone seems ready to swim,” he remarked, teasing his other half.
Organisation, set up and general event anxiety? Adam had been there for all of it - both as a member of the Department of Magical Games and Sports and as, well, a Stemp. But finally the day had arrived and he could breathe a sigh of relief, having blind faith that everything would go perfectly.
He'd even dragged Jude along, his and Lorelai's youngest and the only child not to have started his senior education yet. Jude, who was far too quiet and moody for a ten year old, but Adam was putting that down to his siblings all being away at the moment. The lack of letters, and the last of content in the letters he had received, had him worried. Particularly about his youngest favourite daughter, so hopefully the event would take his mind of that.
Hopefully.
With instructions to his son not to go too far and to be nice and polite too people, he set about mingling.

Edward had heard about the fundraiser as he had been out and about and thought it best to go and see what sort of place his niece had decided to betray him for. After every thing he and his late ex wife had done for her after her mother had died. Still... He had the twins to look after and decided to take them out and into the fresh air and boisterous noises that went along with a carnival.
When they arrived he pushed the double stroller that contained his younger offspring and walked around once to get the last of the place in case of needing a quick exit our a place to change a nappy, should that need arise. His next lap was to check out what sort of games and such they had to play. He also pointed out a few things to his nearly two year old sons.

Winding up he took it.
Kevin really did roll his eyes now. “Sure you are,’’ he called. But knowing the other guy, he was surely going to hit that target at any time, Probably even the next throw. Though he had never told him, Bart was really good. His aim was almost always on point. Right, as if he’d ever tell Bart that. He took a moment to can the ground. Wasn’t Mason there as yet? At least his best friend was sure to get a laugh out of this.
Kev did not locate Mason and looked towards Bart just in time to see another ball fly. This time, the ball hit the target and he suddenly found himself being dumped unceremoniously into the tank with a loud SPLASH! A few seconds under the water and the Falcons player came up sputtering. His gaze moved towards Bart in a glare.

Adi had taken a dunk once before but it was still his turn so he sat there all damp. Not that he minded, it was all in the fun. He was actually waiting for someone to take a shot at him again when he spotted the most handsome guy and cutest toddler in all of the world- Benny and Raj. He broke into a wide grin and waved a hand at them. Really, Benny hadn’t been surprised when Adi told him that he had signed up for the Dunk Tank. He enthusiastically waved at his family. Was Benny going to have a try at dunking him?

Benny moved closer to the action as it became clear Adi had noticed their presence. He waved back, albeit a bit less energetically than their son. The former Gryffindor tightening his grasp on the boy as the near-flail nearly caused a fall. Upon closer inspection of his husband, it was obvious one or more lucky throwers had gotten the better of the dunk booth’s target under the gobstone player’s watch as he was dripping wet. He tilted his head curiously as he debated attempting once more. “What ya think, Raj…should we play?”
Rajesh waved back at his father enthusiastically with both hands from his perch, unaware of the potential dangers. “Daddy!” Daddy looked funny all wet in his clothes. Looking down at his Papa at the question, he lowered his hands as he thought, finally nodding his head. “Yeah…play.”
Well now, with Raj wanting in on the fun, Benny wasn’t going to disappoint. He shifted his grasp up and eased the boy down from his shoulders, echoing the laughter with a chuckle or two of his own. Then the magizoologist moved up to the line to get his turn. “Hi Rehman….” He remarked in jest as he was given the first of three balls. “At least these are easier to grasp than quaffles…” he added, as he wound up and aimed towards the target.

"Well well well..." The red head muttered under her breath as she moved closer to the tank, watching Benny throw his ball at the tank - "What do we have here?" The woman grinned, teasing her team mate as she leant uncaringly against the tank edge. After all, if Adi got dunked, and she got splashed... it was simply moving up the inevitable - since she was next on the seat.
With a wiggle of her fingers, the Welshwoman waved to Adi's son, wondering where her own wife and daughter were. Though, knowing her luck, they would turn up just in time for her shot in the tank - after all, what nine-year old would miss the chance to dunk their own fam?
Morgan Eris, on the other hand - was utterly looking forward to this. She was wearing her Hippogriff's training gear and had slip on shoes to take off, and a towel for the end of her hour - because before that it would simply be a waste. Her hair was pulled back into two pleats, beautifully done by her niece - though she was sure Marsha would also turn up to support her. Maybe... hopefully she wouldn't stay inside and would come and join the family today.

Yes, kids were energetic but Adi liked to think that his son was that energetic because Adi’s had rubbed off. Whatever the reason was, it was a joy to watch the toddler wave at him. Yes! Daddy-. that was him- Aditya Rehman. Cue proud daddy moment! Benny seemed to be asking their son something though Adi couldn’t figure out what. Raj seemed to calm down for the moment and also seemed to have agreed with his other dad.
And there was one Morgan. Adi grinned at her. “It’s not your turn as yet,’’ he called to her. “I’ll think about letting you have a chance.’’ Duh, of course Adi was joking with her. She was his team mate and she knew his personality by now: it included the trait that made him joke with everyone. A lot. “Where are the wife and mini you?’’
Benny, by that time, had reached him after two others had unsuccessfully tried to dunk him. The dragon let the first ball fly and...
SPLASH!
Adi found himself down in the tank bobbing about after resurfacing.

Raj let himself be put down so Papa Benny could throw. His gaze wandered around them as the man prepared to dunk his daddy, catching sight of the familiar face that was waving at him. A woman who was friends with both his parents. He waved energetically at her as she came close to them. “Hi….”he greeted half-shy before his attention was back on the now-falling daddy, Rajesh happily giggling and clapping as Adi fell into the dunk tank and the water that filled it.
Benny lowered his arm as he watched the ball for where it might land, smiling in almost a playful smirk as it hit its intended target and sent Adi into the dunk tank. He’d pay for that later. “Poor wet badger…” he teased with a chuckle, absently ruffling Raj’s hair as their laughter echoed each other. Or hippogriff. Speaking of hippogriffs …no longer focused on his throwing, he had noticed Adi’s teammate apparently awaiting her own time in the tank.
“Hey Morgan,” he greeted the woman with a friendly smile. “Maybe you should help me keep dear Adi on his toes before you switch.” Because why not? His gaze passing to Adi knowing full well his husband could hear him. All in good fun and for charity. And the pure amusement of the watching toddler son of course.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Adi lurked about, bobbing in the water for fun. He happily was watching Raj laughing and clapping. Really, that was a wonderful sight to see. Then his eyes were swinging up to his husband. Little did he know that Benny was thinking the same thing... that he- Benny- would pay later on. In good ways, of course
“Yes, poor wet me!’’ Adi thought in amusement. He eased himself back up to the seat, certain the he just had enough time for one more dunk. But when he cast his eyes down to his waterproof watch, he realised that his time was up. Darn!
A few minutes later, Adi joined Benny, Raj and Morgan. “Well, that was super fun!’’ he announced and bent to scoop Raj up in his arms.
