Just as long as he still had some black covering the apartment. The light reflecting off the right caught his eye. "The ring is rather nice, Juno. Congrats! I can see that you're very happy.'' And he was happy for her too.
"Thank you.'' Olly beamed. Pretty soon he'd do something for Juno and Leon too but he wasn't going to tell Juno that. He'd surprise her. "Oh! That makes perfect sense. I'll make that adjustment now.'' And so he began. It was a good thing that she was there; he was thankful for the suggestions.
Juno chuckled at Olly's comments about decorating. "Actually, Leon hasn't done an decorating yet. He wanted to wait until I actually moved in before doing anything. He just had the basic necessities seeing as he isn't home very much because of training." Which she thought was sweet of him to do. He wanted it to be their space together, which was why he asked her to help him find a place last summer. "Thank you! I am!" She said with a huge smile. There was a little itch in her brain that wanted to ask when he would pop the question, but that was not her business so she was going to keep out of it.
"You're very welcome!" She wondered if she could get Olly to do some paintings for her one day. She would ask at another time though. "Glad I could be here to help you!" Juno watched as he began sketching. Juno could draw a little bit, she was better at calligraphy than actually drawing, so watching Olly was so very interesting to her. She wished she had the talent that Olly had.

Olly listened, genuinely interested. "Oh yeah. How is the training going for him? I hear that can be quite rigorous at times. Then there's the actual field work which can sometimes be challenging.'' And dangerous. He was not going to add that last bit in to worry Juno though he knew she also knew what Auror training would be like.
"Yes, you helped me big time. I'll just finish this up later.'' It would be quite rude to be doing his sketch while Juno just sat there. "How about some pizza? My treat. What's your favourite?'' Not to mention he himself could go for pizza. Sketching, drawing, colouring, whatever it was always gave him an appetite.

Her eyes were wide, scanning every face she saw, dreading Aaron not turning up. And yet, she still didn’t go anywhere. So she would have only herself to blame, if he didn’t turn up and she was left standing here like an imbécile.
And then her heart stopped. Someone had said her name.
Slowly, she turned and looked over her shoulder. Woah. He… He was.. That was… ”Bonjour.” She said, mouth dry and eyes wide. Morgan, help. He was… everything his pictures had made him out to be. Ohno. This was going to be a disaster. Why would he like her when he looked like… like… that! Why had she let Sophia talk her into signing up to that stupid site again?
Gulping and trying to get her act together, she gave him a small smile and tried to look less like a deer stuck in the light. She thought that was the English phrase anyway. ”It is pleasant, to meet you.” She said, hoping that her nerves wouldn’t make her screw up her English completely. She never had this problem when talking to Sophia - though they did switch between French and English a lot of the time. Ohhelp.
[[OOC: imbécile means fool]]
So two thoughts crossed Aaron's mind when she met his gaze and greeted him in French: one, she was a fan girl and he could call her whatever she'd respond. Two, she didn't understand English. And actually, no a third crossed his mind too, in that maybe she actually HAD shown up and this was REALLY happening.
Fortunately for the both of them, years of professional athletics had given him a level of confidence when meeting with strangers. And yet none of that mattered when it came to anxiety of dating. But he was at least able to put up the facade. "At last," he smiled. "For you..." He gestured again with the flower, before holding out his other hand in hopes she would take it. In hopes he could lead the way in the pizza parlor. Because standing outside would get them nowhere in this 'getting to know you' process.

With a smile, Juno replied, "Training is going quite well for him. It's not surprising though. He has been training for this for a long time, plus my dad is helping him, as you know." She said with a grin. She had heard that Olly had been participating in some of the training sessions. He did seem a bit more fit since the last time she saw him. It was good that they were getting that bonding time with him. Her father could be on that was very hard to impress.
"Oh good! I'm glad to help!" She said with a smile. Though she was a little surprised for him to offer her lunch. It was actually rather sweet of him, and she was always hungry. "Awe, thanks Olly! That's really nice of you. I am really basic when it comes to pizza. I love pepperoni." It had been a long day of shopping and she really could use a bite.

Olly nodded. He did know that Maddox was helping. "Leon's in good hands, I mean with your father there to help, he'll be a great Auror.'' Obviously he thought highly of Maddox even though at first he had disliked the training sessions the man had put him through. But Olly had grown to like them, even looking forward to them now.
"You're welcome,'' he replied. "One pepperoni pizza coming right up.'' He was gone but returned a while later with the pizza and fizzy drinks. "Eat up, Juno.'' And if she were anything like Esme when it came to food, she would. "Do you have more shopping to do or that's about it?''

"That he is!" Juno said with a grin. Though she could still beat her dad and Leon at all things. Well....maybe not all the things. They definitely lifted more weight than she could. But that was besides the point!
Juno's tummy was absolutely growling now. She hadn't realized she was so hungry. Shopping was a good distraction! She was super excited when Olly came back to the table with the pizza and soda. "Thanks, Olly." She said with a grin, taking a huge bite out of a piece of pizza. It was so delicious and melty and warm! She was absolutely ravenous now.
When he asked the next question she chewed up and swallowed her bite of pizza and wiped her mouth before answering. "We have a little more to do but it's furniture and Leon needs to be there for that. Small decorations he doesn't mind, nor I, for me to do it by myself. I know what he likes and he trusts my judgement. But furniture needs to meet both of our needs and wants." She was sure he understood that. Their home needed to show aspects of both of them together, not just one over the other.

Olly returned the grin. "You're welcome.'' Honestly, it felt good to be treating Juno. He did quite like her and they got along well. And because of this, he wasn't shy about eating in front of her, a peeve that he had to endure still. Not matter how much he tried, he could not be rid of the annoying habit. Olly dug into the pizza, enjoying the gooey-ness of the cheese.
"Such important decisions furniture are,'' he said knowingly. "Just be sure to not into any arguments about it if you two disagree on something.'' In other words, compromise. "How's the pizza? I think I'll get some for Esme and Leon too. Any favourites for him?''
Pizza. That was just the thing to end another long day of work. His lack of culinary skills usually meant a cold sandwich for dinner, but not tonight. He was in the mood for something hot and piled high with toppings. He entered the pizza parlor and quickly eyed an empty table along the right side, near the window. Far enough away from the arcade to avoid the younger crowd, but close enough to share in their excitement.
He took a seat and began to slowly peruse the menu. The options were far greater than he expected and his mouth watered at the possibilities. Taking a gamble that his open invite to join him for dinner would be taken by at least one of his fellow Ministry workers, he placed an order for two large pizzas. Even if he ate alone, the extra slices would make great leftovers for the rest of the week.
As he waited for his pies to arrive, he slowly sipped a butterbeer and mulled over the day’s events. They were still in meetings over team salaries and fines, and he felt torn between his former quidditch days and his new role working for the Ministry. His world had changed and he had to figure out a way to live in his new reality.
