Coming into the lobby since Claudette thought that was the most logical place to start searching for the snake before searching the other rooms. They had after all already concluded that it wasn't in the conference room and had left the testing area.
It was when she was searching high and low around the lobby that she spotted it. Feeling her mouth go dry and her hands start to sweat Claudey stopped abruptly to stare at the baby snake across the room and mumbled loudly to herself "Now what shall i do?"

Albert emerged from Level 5's Testing Room in a hasty, but dignified manner. Two basilisk eggs have hatched, and if he was fast enough, he'd be able to catch the second one that just escaped. With a portable incubator bearing the newly hatched Romanian Longhorn in one hand, and the other eggs floating in a glass box behind him, Albert's eyes darted from the woman a few meters away from him, and the juvenile Basilisk that gave out a hiss at her. Even as babies, those juvvies were dangerous. In fact, he felt a tad sick just by looking at it.
What made things worse though was the fact that these people don't know how to handle escapist. Humans or creatures. Hopefully, they were more adept in capturing the former, for the sake of their Department's reputation. With resolve, Albert pointed at the somewhat confused juvenile Basilisk, and encapsulated it in a thick bubble, before transforming the clear orb into a steel cube to secure the basilisk.
Were they done now? Because Albert cannot wait any longer to get back to his office to get more tests done for the dragons and to properly execute the basilisk. The Creatures man made a face, remembering that Olympia was out in the field doing work, meaning, he'd have to do the execution portion himself.

The hissing creeped her out like really creeped her out. And it made her feel sick too because of the nerves and knowing just how dangerous the baby snake was or rather was going to become when it grew up. She was the only one presently there in the lobby so Claudette could admit to herself that she strongly wished that Luc was there to hold her hand.
Swallowing she kept eyeing the snake as it slithered away out of her reach towards the wall. She needed to act before it disappeared. But how did one catch a snake? She had nothing to lure it with. What did snakes eat anyway? Before she could do anything a man joined her in the lobby and quickly and profesionally encapsulated the snake in a steel cube. A little sigh of relief escaped over her lips as Claudette looked over at the man and murmured. "Thank you so much. I wasn't sure exactly how to catch it." She worked with immigration cases after all not creatures.
As the baby moved close to the wall he felt another set of eye on him and with one glance he knew he needed a better place to hide. Feeling something come close to him he moved a bit faster and got away from the orb in just a matter of seconds before it moved into a glass cage.
Not today human... not toady..
or at least not at that moment. The basilisk took off as fast as it could slither and went to find shelter into the green area of the lobby.

There weren't any snakes in his office which was good. He wasn't a big fan of them, but he was a creative person so he didn't want harm to come to the babies either. He figured they could be captured and then sent to the correct facility that took care of these things.
Hurrying out of his office he noticed two bent down in the lobby. "You find it? How many are there?" Blasted report not having them at all was one thing, but now they were hatching without the correct setup. This wasn't good for his department nor the ministry.
"What do you need me to do?" Though he didn't bend down right away, he'd wait to see if he was needed before getting on his knees. He was older after all.

Having taken the time to search the rest of the Department, Sky arrived last on the scene. Not showing any signs of stress (but feeling it), though showing some signs of irritation at the sight of the Creatures man. Hadn't she asked him.....oh okay he'd brought them with him. And....
"Oh good, you found one." Yes, one. Because the one escaping the orb hadn't escaped her notice. In fact, she was already following it further out into the lobby, making as little noise as possible and waiting for it to stop before attempting to catch it. You know, since it would be easier that way.
Also, hi boss and Claudette!

Before Albert could mutter an annoyed remark to the woman, the blasted juvenile basilisk escaped his entrapment and slithered its way to one of the shrubberies of the Department. Merlin forbid. Today just wasn't his day, apparently. Doing legwork, of which he didn't sign up for was more than enough to set the man's blood pressure sky high. Feeling his palms warm up from being annoyed, he cast his icy stare to the employee who thanked him. "Perhaps now, you know what to do." she'd seen what he did, correct? There was no way he'd repeat it again...not with baby dragons starting to hatch in his portable incubator that was left levitating behind him.
Erec and Sky came out next, the latter he purposefully left behind in such haste from the Testing Room, not letting her finish her sentence. Whatever came from the woman's mouth came in his right ear, and out off his left without any thought whatsoever. Albert glanced at her with equal irritation and followed her with his icy glare as she followed the rogue juvvie snake.
Albert took a step forward, adjusting the other portable incubator under his arm and stood right next to Erec. "There are two, for your information," he said calmly, while he raised a brow towards Miss Carter-Hope. "She claimed to have witnessed the first one hatch. I did not see it, given that my attention was drawn to one of the dragons that decided it was time to come out of its shell," Albert continued, showing Erec the restless baby dragon inside his charmed incubator. "The sooner you catch it, the better," he added glancing down at his shorter companion. "Juvenile basilisks feed on earthworms, guppies, or cooked fish. It would be easier to capture this creature if you have any of those to lure it in. Encase it in a steel box, deliver it to Level Four, and we will take it from there." Was he giving Erec an order? Perhaps he was, given that it was his Department that messed up this time and that he, Albert, was giving them all a huge favour before the whole Ministry goes into panic mode. Besides, he has got hatched and unhatched dragon eggs to take care of.
Stretching his back to stand in his full 6'4" height, Albert watched the rest of Level Five do damage control with odd satisfaction, only to snap out of his trance when his shoulder muscles started to ache. "Very well Mr Delacroix, as much as I want to stay and help I, however, must take these dragons back to our resident dragonologist for further assessment. I have sent for my Enforcement Division to help you with the search." Cleaning up someone else's mess left a bitter taste in Albert's mouth. However, it was a good opportunity for Level Four to step up to the game and show them what they are capable of considering that it has been reported that DMC was seen as a joke in the Ministry.
Huh. Really now?
Without a word, Albert took measured steps across Level Five's lobby with the baby dragons and made his way for the lifts. With a press of the button, the doors opened for him, and the man was transported away, back to his office.
Good luck, Level Five.

Hot on the heels of her boss, Emily ran out of the conference room and joined the other Ministry workers gathered in the lobby. She wasn't fast enough to see the baby basilisk escape, but quickly realized what had happened by hearing the conversation.
"Where did it go?" she asked piercingly after the man with the dragon eggs left for his level. Her wand was out and in her hand, ready for action. "There are two of them?"
That was uncalled for!! Claudette felt her temper rising as the DMC employee boss person pretty much scolded her for not knowing what to do. There was a reason why she worked in immigration and not with creatures Sir! She was pregnant and he was making her feel like she was 10 again. Claudette just silently returned the stare and nodded at the man, certain that opening her mouth would lead to a whole lot of infuriated words that were better left unsaid.
Before Claudette could let any words blurb out they were joined in the lobby by Erec, Sky and Emily as the snake took the liberty to slither off towards the greener part of the lobby. It felt good to see the man fail. She was being petty she knew but he deserved it a silent voice in her head said.
The man finally took his leave several minutes later after giving Erec orders. Shaking her head Claudette looked from Erec to Sky to Emily and said "I guess we should try and catch the snake then....." She said. After a pause she confirmed to Emily. "Yes there are two baby basilisks on the loose. I don't know where the other one is." Leaving Erec and Emily she followed after Sky towards the greener part of the lobby in search of the snake.
Now that it was in the greener area the baby felt a bit more relaxed. Hidden away in the center of the lobby it slowly slithered around hoping to find food.
Nodding grimly at Claudette's confirmation of two basilisks, Emily decided to follow her and Sky into the greed lobby. Admittedly she was not sure what spell to use once she found it. Her job usually involved a combination of office work and undercover meetings, not capturing baby monsters.
Then she saw movement. "Look there," she whispered to Claudette and Sky, pointing at the slithering in the grass. "I thought I saw it..."
Were her eyes playing tricks on her? Emily raised her wand and aimed it at the spot where she thought she'd seen movement, privately hoping that one of her companions would beat her to it since she had no idea what she was doing.
She had seen the little basilisk move through the green in the center of the room. It's empty stomach making it move more to search for what it needed to survive.

Merlin this was nuts, why on earth had this happened in his department.
He would be having a talk with his testing area and to his undercover buyers. Maybe they needed training in the different types of eggs, but he really couldn't blame them. They weren't the creature department. Now they were being told there were two on the move. Just what he needed to hear. Erec looking around the lobby, had it gotten to another area already?
That's when he heard Emily say she thought she saw something and he headed over. "Anyone have anything food wise close by?" What did they even eat? Could it even smell it? He really didn't have a clue, all he knew was that he had dragons hatching in one area and snakes now in his office areas. This needed to be handled and it needed to be handled now!
Walking slowly toward the center he kept his eyes locked on the place that Emily had pointed.
Claudey looked over to where Emily pointed and saw with her own eyes how the grass moved as if it slithered. The basilisk had found a nice hiding place. As Erec moved forward toward the grassy green area Claudette took a breath, pulled out her wand and followed him. It felt reassuring to hold it in her grasp even if she wasn't sure what the best spell was to hit a snake with.
Contemplating that Claudette walked up to stand next to Erec and whispered to him to not scare off the snake. "Mr Morgenstern said earlier that basilisks like earthworms, guppies or cooked fish. Should i conjur up some cooked salmon? And where do we find a steel box?" International cooperation weren't exactly known for their big number of boxes lying around.
The baby slithered off the center green area onto the hard floor again. It was very visible, but it's hunger was the focus and not keeping himself hidden.

Where in the hell were they suppose to get that in the ministry? If he wanted them to have earthworms he should have went to get some for them not just leave them without. He was the creature person not them. Though it didn't matter what they had because one moment Erec was looking in the green area in the center of the lobby the next his eyes grew as he saw something fall out and hit the floor.
"Don't anyone move I think it's out in the open." He knew it couldn't fully hurt them being as it was just minutes old, but he didn't want to risk the chance of his own knowledge either. Someone grab a box from reception and lay it on the ground facing the snake."[/b]
