I'd love to see her again, even if it's just when she's asleep." Zhenya loved the little 'Leria to pieces, always wanting a cuddle and smile when she could. "Would you show me some yoga sometime?" Zhenya asked. She'd been meaning to ask Gabby for ages, but it never came up. Some of her friends did yoga to stretch after running, and whilst Zhenya had always thought about doing it, she just never had. "It's good it helps, though. I've brewed another huge batch of it, it should last another 12 months, so I can bring that over tonight if you want." Zhenya wasn't sure how much of the potion Gabby had been through. It was almost her specialty potion, at this stage, so she had lost count of the batches she'd passed on to Gabby. Zhenya just grinned at Gabby's words. Her long lost romance when she was 15 was all she had ever had. Besides that one kiss from her colleague and that random drink with that other guy, who was quite rude. She just wasn't interested at the moment. And besides, with the babies, and Sophia getting married, and needing to find a new place, she just didn't have time to think about it.
Zhenya was proud of herself, especially at Gabby's words. She knew that a compliment like that from Gabby was very meaningful. "It's amazing to watch the two of you." Zhenya's voice dropped lower, and she felt herself blush slightly. "I just never.. well, I never really saw my parents like that. And the last time I saw two people madly in love was my grandparents." It was nice to see that that sort of love was out there.
It seemed to be settled then since Gabby was sure that Archer would be more than happy to join them and Valeria should manage to stay settled. "Wonderful. I am sure that she would love the attention if she is awake." If the baby was sleeping the whole time, well... she could still get love then since Zhenya knew how to be careful. "Oh, yeah. Of course you can. I would love to have someone to do it with. Archer just isn't really the yoga type. He prefers other forms of exercise." That, and he would rather watch her do yoga. They had jogging and working out to look forward to AND there was also more potion in the works! "Thank you for that. I really appreciate it. Definitely do that." Even if she didn't end up using it all, she would definitely be making good use of the stuff; unfortunately she had been cursed with bad morning sickness during both of her pregnancies. "Is it true that girls cause more morning sickness than boys?" she asked curiously. It was something that she had heard somewhere and she wanted to know if it was true or not. "I am sure that this is another girl." It was a feeling that she had with Valeria as well.
Zhenya's next words made Gabby smile even though she had already known that her relationship with Archer was amazing; everyone should wish that they had one like theirs. Actually, they probably did. "I never thought I could love someone like that. It's incredible." Well, more than that, but it was hard for her to put into words. "What about you? Any guys at work catching your interest?"
Zach was quite tempted to say that he was down for these art lessons every evenings but again, his shyness held him back. Thank goodness for that thing call shyness."U-um, I'm usually done with work at 5 everyday. So-sometimes I do work at home in the evenings but that's only because of the lack of anything better to do.'' He didn't really have a social life as he had never felt the need for one. "So long as I'm not occupying too much of your time.'' He offered a smile. "Th- thank you for agreeing to the lessons.''
Another thing he and Ansley had in common. Zach had no idea why he was keeping a tab on what they had in common, to be honest. "I suppose you got too busy to spend time here after a while.'' He shook his head. "I am looking for somewhere closer because of work. Not much luck so far but I'm adjusting.'' Lucky Ansley for living close by to this nice park. Now if he too could be that lucky.
"Thanks! But no, I didn't.'' Zack looked sheepishly over at Ansley. "I'm not much of the party kind of guy unless you count making yourself mac and cheese dinner and reading a book or listening to music.'' He liked music a lot.
Well, it sounded like Zach was free most of the time outside work hours so that seemed to leave the scheduling up to him. "How about Thursday evenings?" he suggested. Ansley had a shortened schedule at the university on those days and it would be a little easier, he thought. "Whatever time works for you." He smiled softly. "It's no trouble. It's what I enjoy doing." And he wouldn't mind sharing that with someone else.
He looked around at the park and nodded. "Yes, I suppose I did. When I taught at Hogwarts, I was expected to be there nearly 24/7," he chuckled. Maybe not really, but it was close enough in his mind. "Made it hard to do things that weren't strictly essential, But it's nice to enjoy the simple things too." He nodded lightly in understanding. "I'm sure something will turn up just when you are least expecting it. In the meantime, I suppose we can be thankful for flooing and apparating," he added with a chuckle. That did make things awfully convenient.
Ansley gave him a good-natured shrug. "It doesn't matter what you do whether it's low-key or a big celebration, as long as you treat yourself a little." And Zach did seem like the more low-key type, which was perfectly fine too. What he did sounded like something he enjoyed.

It seemed as though Zach had something to look forward to every Thursday now. He was a fast learner but already his brain was scheming that he would purposely be bad at all artistic things. Therefore, he'd be needing more lessons which in turn lead to more time with Ansley. Maybe he could even pluck up the courage to tell him that he was interested in being more than friends. You will do no such thing! grumbled a very annoyed conscious. "Thursdays are perfect. Is about 7 PM okay?''
"You did like it at Hogwarts though? You must miss your friends and students.'' Zach knew he certainly would have. Ansley was sure to have a lot of friends and he must have been a favourite among students. "It's been easy with apparating. I'm very optimistic. Life has been getting better a lot since I moved here so I can't complain.''
"Indeed. I find the small celebrations better. I don't like being in the spotlight and prefer to celebrate with a few friends but I haven't made any as yer here. Except you.'' That is, if Ansley considered him a friend.

Well, even if it wasn't a social event and more or less a tutoring job, Ansley was rather looking forward to the prospect of seeing Zach again. And who knew, maybe it would lead to something more social. He couldn't deny he felt some form of attraction and he thought perhaps the other man felt the same. There were certainly some signs that he couldn't, and didn't want to ignore. "7 pm sounds fine," he nodded his confirmation.
Did he like his time at Hogwarts? Ansley thought that was a tricky question. "I did.." he started out slowly with something of a nod. "It had it's good points and bad points just like any job though, I suppose. But I think the choice that I had made to leave there was a good one. My current job is a great fit." It really had been a good move for him. "I do miss them some, of course." He really should get in touch with a few of the friends he had there, maybe get together for lunch or something. He was glad that Zach was having a better time of things here too and he gave him an encouraging smile.
"You haven't made any friends yet?" Well, except for him and he would consider himself Zach's friend too. Or at least acquaintances on their way to getting to know each other better. "Oh, I find that hard to believe," he added with a smile. "You seem so friendly." He was sure that plenty of people liked Zach.

Seven it was. Zach was on cloud nine. It was most likely reflected in his smile. You really, really ought to back out from this now. What if Ansley turns out to be like Samuel? Zach almost snorted at the voice in his head. Right, like this man beside him could ever be as dominating and cruel like his ex. "Great. I'll be there. You just need to remember to let me know your address.'' Casual. Zach was trying to be as casual as possible with his statement to hide his excitement.
The man nodded as he absently brushed a lock of longish brown hair from his face. "As long as you're content that's what's important.'' This was something he had come to understand just before he left the US. As a matter of fact, it was why he had left. Zach peered back at Ansley's sketch. "Don't let me keep you from your sketches, you know.'' He'd be alright just sitting in silence and watching Ansley work. Or rather look at Ansley's pretty face.
"Not really,'' Zach admitted. "The shyness gets in the way. I get nervous too and I stutter.'' He really hated his stutter. The stutter was only gone when he got a lot comfortable with the person exactly like it was now. When he got used to the person, he chattered quite a bit. "Thanks. I think the same about you.'' That and a lot more.

"Oh, right, of course." Ansley had gotten so caught up in plans that it had slipped his mind to give Zach his address. That might be a good idea so that the man would know where to go. Tearing off a piece of blank paper from his sketchbook, he quickly scribbled down his address and handed it to him.
He shook his head lightly and smiled as he closed up his sketchbook. "No, it's fine. Really." He had just come for a little inspiration to use in a painting later. And that could wait for when he got home or another time. It was just a sketch anyway and he kind of felt like he was done for now.
Ansley could understand how shyness could make it a little harder to make friends, and he did get a shyness vibe from Zach. And he knew about his stutter, but he found it more a cute quirk than anything else. "Well, I'm sure you'll make some more friends in no time," he smiled. Some people took longer to get to know people than others, something that he also knew for himself. And he didn't see anything wrong with that.

Zach took advantage of the situation of Ansley scribbling his address to admire his features. Of course from where he was sitting he only the man's profile. Still... it was a rather attractive profile with a prefect nose... that mouth... Damn. He was forced out of his admiration when the paper was handed over to him. "Thanks.'' Zach felt more delighted than ever and he just had to cover this up.
As long as he wasn't disturbing Ansley, he was glad to hang around for a few more minutes. The man was still determined not to occupy too much of Ansley's time. "Possibly I will. I'm not fussy though. I've learnt that the persons you're closest to can hurt you a lot.'' He hated that and wasn't keen on making too many friends until he really knew them. With the exception of Ansley. There was something different about him, Zach could tell.
He sat there for a few more more minutes taking in the peacefulness of everything. He didn't feel awkward sitting there momentarily in silence as he usually would. But then he decided he had to be going. There was that book he wanted to finish reading. "I'll see you for our lessons, Ansley. I'll leave you to your sketch and maybe you can show it to me on Thursday.''

Ansley tilted his head slightly as he looked at Zach throughout their conversation. It definitely sounded like there was a story behind his words, something that happened in his past. But he wasn't sure he wanted to pry. He certainly didn't know Zach that well. "That can happen sometimes," he nodded in agreement. He did know that from personal experience as well, though he was sure many people probably did. "But not always. There are plenty of good people around too."
Though there was a quiet few moments between them, Ansley did not really feel as though it was awkward silence. He was comfortable enough and he looked out at the small pond, sort of wishing he had brought bread to toss out for the few geese that were there. But he looked back at Zach as the other man suddenly spoke again. "Oh.. yes, of course," he smiled and gave him a nod. "I don't want to keep you. I'll see you Thursday then." And maybe he'd finish the sketch or maybe he'd attempt something else. It all just decided where his muse ended up.

Zach never ever talked about his bad past. Not even a hint of it but yet he found himself hinting at it to Ansley. Not even his parents knew what happened. All he had told them was that he needed to get away from life for a while and that's why he had ended up in London. Perhaps someday he would tell Ansley. Zach could easily tell the other man was different than his ex.
He smiled. "Bye. I'm really looking forward to Thursday.'' Like couldn't it be here already? In addition to that, Zach was looking forward to see more of Ansley's sketches. The other guy's talent was something he liked a lot. With another smile and a 'goodbye', he left.

Addison couldn't believe that it was already almost an entire month since little Reagan had been born. The weeks were just flying by now and the time was drawing nearer to her return back to work, she really couldn't stay away! She was the department head after all! Even if she had left someone in charge that was very capable she knew there was still going to be a lot of work to do.
None of that was important though today. Today was a day for her family. A beautiful picnic was packed away in the basket that she was carrying, having let her Connor push the babies carriage today. "Koen, run up ahead and pick out a tree for us all to sit under, okay?" she smiled at her son. The young blonde boy nodded his head in reply before taking off across the green grass up ahead in search of the perfect tree that would give off the best shade.
Addison laughed softly watching their son go. "I can't believe he's going to be eleven this September..." It was going to quickly for her now. The blonde cast a look at her husband her eyes shining brightly as she looked then at their infant daughter. They were a beautiful family anyone who saw them all together would think so.

"Slow down please, Cecelia!" The small blonde had to be the fastest kid alive, Ella was sure. Took after her dad that way. She was almost scared to see what she was able to do on a broom, honestly. As for Sam, he rested peacefully in his carrier, snuggled against her chest.
The trio made their way through the park in search of Sophie and the twins, the former Hufflepuff having arrived a bit early to pick up some snacks for the kids so she'd be able to catch up with her best friend properly. It'd been too long and really, owling just wasn't the same.
"Mama, fwowers!"
"Pretty, baby girl. Maybe we can pick some for Auntie Soph, would you like that?" No response was necessary as the near three year old was already pulling flowers with enthusiasm, making her own little bouquet. Smiling, amused, the twenty-six year old paused to supervise, as mama badgers do.

Soph would be along soon, yeah?
It took Sophie a LOT. A. LOT. of strength to let her two year-olds out and about on their own. She had, of course, cast a little spell to make sure they would only get as far as 5 ft away from her just in case.
She was still watching. Closely. Anxiously. But look at her, that was progress right there. No baby harnesses or anything still a spell, but they were only TINY TWO YEAR OLD BABIES, THEY DID NOT KNOW BETTER. She ignored Noah's complaints when he couldn't stretch out any farther and carried on walking in the general direction he wanted yet still going towards the place they were supposed to meet up with the Summers.
The three of them were still at a good distance when Sophie and Catherine noticed their friends simultaneously. The older brunette beamed and, after taking a deep breath, lifted the spell that was on her kids and rushed with them to where Ella and her own children were.
LOOK AT THEM WITH THEIR LITTLE ONES. "Hiii!" The two Mordaunt ladies said in unison as the boy bounced and waved one of his little hands. Sophie couldn't help but smile at herself, thinking how she would've loved to see this scene when she was thirteen years old. It would've saved her a lot of grief if she had been able to see the future, but she supposed that was life.
Anyhow. "How are you??" The former Hufflepuff asked her best friend happily as her daughter went over to have a look at what Cecelia was doing. "It's been so long since-- how are they growing so quickly??? What are you feeding Sam?" WHAT was this madness, he had just come into this world the other day, hadn't he??? Someone needed to stop time for a bit, sweet Merlin!

It was a perfect day for a picnic. Connor and Addi had made sure to do nothing work related that day. Or at least he did since Addi was busy with baby Reagan these days. He was pushing the pram, his princess fast asleep in her little pink dress. He looked around as Koen went ahead to do as his mother suggested.
"He has grown up really fast,'' Connor agreed. "And he already knows what he wants.'' That was his son for you! Koen wanted to be involved with dragons. Connor was very supportive of this. He put an arm around Addi, one remaining on the pram. "Princess here will never grow up though.'' If only that were true!

They really couldn't have picked a more beautiful day. The blue sky, a few clouds, a very gentle breeze. It was prefect. Addi turned her blue-gray eyes onto their sleeping daughter and smiled. Reagan had fit her tiny self into their family and made it seem as if she had always been there. "I can't believe it's been a month already, I'm nowhere close to being ready to return to work," she whispered softly releasing a small sigh.
"He really has. So much like his father in that sense." Knowing exactly what he wanted and stopping at nothing until he got it. She was sure in her heart that their son was going to go far in life. Both her and Connor would do anything in their power to see that Koen's dreams came true even if that meant allowing him to go to Durmstrang and learn about dragons. Gosh how that frightened her! Not that she would voice it out loud but it was true. Slipping her arm around her husbands waist she laughed softly. "If only that was possible Con, I would've stopped Ko from aging years ago as well."
Up ahead beneath a large tree stood their son waiting for them. He had picked on the biggest and best tree that would shade them all, especially little Reagan from the afternoon sun that was sure to shine down on them.

"If only that was possible Con, I would've stopped Ko from aging years ago as well."
Up ahead beneath a large tree stood their son waiting for them. He had picked on the biggest and best tree that would shade them all, especially little Reagan from the afternoon sun that was sure to shine down on them.
Connor smiled at his beautiful wife. Really, wasn't she the most beautiful of all the women? He didn't care about anyone else's opinion because she was, so that was a rhetorical question. "You're the Department Head. You can take as long as you like.'' As far as he knew, the department had been left in good hands. Not his but another capable person.
"He has to set his eyes on the prize and work towards it. That's what I did with you.'' Ever since they were at Hogwarts and he had started falling for Addi. Just look at them now with their perfect family. Connor laughed and squeezed Addi a little. "Really now. Thanks for bursting my bubble of hope.'' Of course he knew that Reagan not growing up was not possible.
Connor guide them towards Koen. "Great choice, Koen.'' He held up a hand to high five his son. "Look, Reagan's waking up.'' Sure enough the baby was stirring.

Ella couldn't help but laugh at the sight of her best friend and the twins, particularly when Catherine mirrored her mother's actions and words so perfectly. It was a sight that warmed her heart and the blonde waved them over, bending to gently ruffle Noah's hair when he was close enough. Soph was right, they were growing up too quickly and she was trying to spend every moment she could enjoying seeing her kids be, well, kids.
"I could ask you the same question. You've practically got little adults on your hands," The blonde teased as she bounced gently, soothing Sam who was now making noises at her. Answering Soph's question, perhaps. "Seriously though, we're great. Cecelia keeps me on my toes constantly and this one is just...well, he's fascinated by everything. It's really fun to watch." Ella grinned. "How's everything with you guys?"
Looking over at her daughter, Ella raised her eyebrows a bit as the younger Summers girl waved flowers underneath Catherine's nose while wearing the most serious expression a thirty three month old could possibly manage. Perhaps she had Herbology in her future.

Now that was something Addison would probably laugh about. Not because she didn't believe she was a beautiful women, she did, but because she thought nearly the same about her husband every time she looked his way. He was the most handsome, good looking man there was. It had always been that way and if she had to admit it she would say it was that way even back in their school days when she disliked him. Her thoughts were pulled away and back onto the now at Connor's reply. "That's true, I could but I'll be swamped with work when I return." Not to mention she loved her job.
"He will be his life isn't you or I. We were stubborn and choose to disliked one another for years," the blonde laughed. "Our son, he's smart. He'll do what he needs to...it's just him being so far away..." Koen was still her little boy. Resting her head on Connor's shoulder she smiled at their daughter. "Sorry there but you know if it were possible I'd be keeping them tiny forever."
Koen grinned putting a hand up to meet his fathers high-five. He might not really voice it much but he did like being a big brother, Reagan was adorable. Grabbing the blanket from the basket he shook it out and laid it under the tree. "Can I hold her?" He asked already having sat down on the blanket already.

Yes, he supposed Addi would be swamped with lots of work. There was only so much the person who was covering for her could do. "I'll help,'' Connor willingly volunteered. "Put it this way, if I do, I'll get to spend more time with you. Plus the work will finish faster.'' Both ways meant he'd get time with Addi. It was a win-win situation for the Slytherin.
Connor grinned impishly. "Yeah, I disliked you because you were always such a know-it-all.'' He laughed. How silly they had both been. But then he had started falling for her every time they got into an argument in his sixth year. "He'll be just fine. Like you said, he's our son. He'll make it through. It's just the first year will be the most difficult for us when he leaves.''
"Why not?'' Connor reached for baby Reagan carefully. She gurgled in that baby language as she was held and passed over to her big brother.
Reagan cooed and gurgled. The big hands holding her were loving though she was unaware of that feeling. She just knew she liked being held by these hands.

This man. Her husband. Look at him offering to help her with her work once she returned to the Ministry. There was no doubt in her mind that he was amazing. "I know you will," Addi laughed giving him a light squeeze around the waist. "More time to spend together yes but most importantly the faster I complete my work the quicker we can return to our children." So it was for sure a win-win situation if he helped her with whatever he could.
Addison fake gasped at him. "A know-it-all huh? Like it was my fault I was smart...at least I wasn't a stuck-up jerk like you tended to be." She teased winking at him playfully. Their fighting and bickering had been childish and silly but it had been the first clue to something more for them. At least it ended up perfectly and they were happy now even years later. "I know he's stubborn and he'll be alright." She would just have to keep telling herself this the entire first year Koen was away at Durmstrang. Speaking of their boy he got a smile from his mother as she watched him hold his baby sister.
Every chance that he got Koen held his baby sister. He might be a prankster or even a troublemaker at times but he was a good big brother. Not that he went around showing it much. With his arms held wide open the blonde boy accepted the weight of the small girl that was placed within them. His one arm cradled her tiny head and his other went lightly over her little legs so he could take her hand. Reagan was safe on his lap and would always be safe when with him. His blue eyes shone brightly as he looked down into his sisters face.

This was one of the reasons he loved his wife so much. She was always so understanding and wanting to spend time with her family. Connor laughed at her gasp. "A know-it-all,'' he confirmed. Really, he thought that a lot about her. He had hated to admit back then that she was smarter than him. It was his turn to gasp. "Me? Stuck up? Never!'' Actually, Connor had been pretty stuck up. "Thinking you're better than everyone else wasn't that wrong,'' he said in a low and amused voice. He didn't want Koen to hear him say that because he wasn't raising his son to be like he had been as a teen.
He set about spreading the picnic blanket, his eyes going to his kids once in a while. "He's good with her,'' the man observed to Addi.
Reagan giggled, her little chubby arms raising up as she tried to reach her brother's face. She knew him too. She had seen him many times and she liked to be held by him also. She made baby noises as she still tried to reach his face.

Besides her job, her family was her life. At first it had been her brother and his family, the sister-in-law and niece and now a new sister-in-law and several more nieces and nephews. Her own husband and their family. The people in her life had gotten her through so much. Addison rolled her eyes laughing softly. "There is nothing wrong with being smart and knowing that you are," she commented. Just so that smartness didn't turn into smugness or get your into trouble...which it had a few times but that was many years ago. "Yes, you. I'm just happy that you grew up and your attitude changed." Otherwise they might not have ended up together. The two of them had changed quite a lot over the years and for the better.
Taking the basket of drinks and foods out from beneath the carriage she set it on the blanket. "He is and she certainly adores him already," the blonde agreed fondly watching their children together.
The sounds his sister made always could make him smile. Her tears always made him want to make her smile. It had been a huge change going from an only child to a big brother but one he accepted readily. Reagan reaching for his face had him leaning down so that she could reach him as he hummed a tune to her like he normally did.

That eye roll. That was one of Connor's favourite habit of Addi's. Then again, he loved everything this woman did. "I think I was jealous that you knew so much. I know I wanted to be better than you.'' But he was not and as much as it had bothered him back then, it did not now. "You made me change. You know that.'' When he had realised that Addi would never go out with someone as stuck up as he was, he had adjusted his attitude.
The man moved to take a seat on the blanket, his eyes still fixed on the kids. t warmed his heart to see that Koen was taking such good care of Reagan. "Think he'll grow up to be an over protective brother?'' Connor wondered out loud as he reached for an apple.
The big human was leaning closer to her. Baby Reagan made her happy baby sounds. She made even more sounds when he started to hum. Her tiny fist closed around on his nose. Was she trying to pull it? Yes, she was. There was just a little amount of pressure applied.

Knew so much. Better than her. Addi paused and really looked at her husband for a long moment. "In all honesty I didn't know that much I just acted as if I did. I had to do better than Evan and make MY name known." Which she did seeing as how her brother was a trouble-maker back in his days. "I know and you've done the same for me." Always pushing her to do her very best and standing beside her when she had felt that even her best hadn't been enough.
Addison sat down setting her hand on Connor's. "Without a shadow of a doubt. I can see him now, wanting to know all her friends, where she is, what she's doing, every single boy that comes anywhere remotely close to her will be questioned." The blonde gave a soft laugh her eyes shinning brightly as she watched their children.
His humming was met with a small hand in his face. A small hand that was connecting with his face. Koen laughed softly when the little finger closed on his nose. It didn't hurt at all since Reagan was so tiny yet but after a minute or two he carefully took her hand away from his face. "Should we sing a song Reagan? You can do backup for me?" Now he knew she couldn't actually 'sing' but her little cooing sounds would be just as good.

Gabby was feeling a little restless being stuck in the tent, so she had decided to get a bit of fresh air by taking Liana out for a walk to the park. Valeria was at home with Archer getting some alone time in with her daddy, and that meant she could have some bonding time with her youngest!
Making sure to dress appropriate for the weather, she made her way over to the park, every once in a while making sure that Liana was doing okay in the stroller. There was nothing wrong with being a protective mother.
During one of her pauses, her eyes landed on a familiar face, one who was clearly having some family time. "Hello, Addy," she said as she approached. The man was clearly her husband, and the boy was obviously her son. It was the BABY, however, who captured her attention. "Well, isn't she just beautiful. What's her name?"
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Connor was inclined to disagree. He had suspected back then- and he knew he was correct- that Addi had a big brain from the moment he met her on the Hogwarts express. She was just too modest to admit she wasn't. "I don't know how I could have changed you since you were already the best that you could be.'' He had been the rude and obnoxious one. Connor now laughed. "I'm glad because Koen won't be the only one screening all the boys.'' Call him a very proud dad of his son.
Connor turned to look at the person calling Addi and he smiled. He recognised the woman from work though he didn't know her that well. Gabby, he believed, is what Addi had called her. "Hi. That's Reagan Aurora Connor.'' Excuse him, he was being a proud daddy again.
Reagan was oblivious to the newcomer. Her attention was fully on her older brother, her little fist opening and closing around his nose. What was that he was saying? She didn't understand at all but she cooed and gurgled, all the baby sounds she was making echoing her happiness. It was also as though she were agreeing to sing with her brother.
