Jasmine decided to go on a jog around the park. She needed some fresh air after a long day at work. She was dressed in her pink and black nikes, her nike black running shorts and her sports bra. I mean she could wear a t-shirt but it was wayyy too hot for a t-shirt. It was like a 90 degrees summer day. She was running and listening to her music. It just gave her a sense of calm. She wondered if she would run into anyone here. I mean the possibilities were endless.
She ran around the whole park and then stopped near the fountain for a cool off station. She realized how out of shape she was a needed a breather in this hot air.

It was one of those lazy afternoons where Alexandria found she'd finished work early and her husband had to work late. Because apparently he was the only one who could do it - or they just needed multiple skilled hands working with the creatures.
So what better way to enjoy the sunny weather than to go for a walk and clear her head and think about the fact that she'd been Mrs Cole Knight for just over two months now. It felt surreal still, now that she thought about it. Seemed liked ages ago when she kissed him when they were just mere teenagers and then when they grown years later. And now...... they had the future together.
Just walking along - mostly because she was wearing an A-line skirt with sneakers and a fitted tee - Alex grinned at the familiar blond head in front of her. "Well well well ... if it isn't Ms Lenkim! Fancy seeing YOU out here!"

As Jasmine was leaning on the fountain and tying her shoes being prepared for another lap of running, she heard a familiar voice when she turned her music down. She took off her headphones and put them into her pockets. She grinned and squealed when she saw her best friend Alex. "HEYYY ALEX!!" she walked over and hugged her tightly. "Oh my god if I knew you were gonna be here I would have dressed up better.." she said referring to her jogging outfit. "I also would look less like a hot mess.." she joked and referred to her sweaty self. "But how does it feel being married and alll..?" he asked and smiley coyly.

If Alex had noticed the headphones she PROBABLY would have nudged Jasmine better because at first she wasn't sure the younger woman had heard her - but it wasn't as if they were noise-cancelling.
Hugging the girl back in a friendly SQUISH, she shook her head. "Don't be ridiculous. You could smell like Dragon Dung and I'd still talk to you." Nevermind that she was used to the smell of random creature's dung from Cole, but that was besides the point. "Amazing. Surreal." Alex smiled dreamily. "What about you? Cole does come from a big family..." Alex joked, albeit maybe half-seriously. "I mean, like you ever fancy yourself coming back to level four?"

He felt his shoulder shrug, but didn't pay much attention to his gesture. "I'm indifferent." To the benches. To sitting on them? Well, that was what they were for, wasn't it? And if they were overrated, then why were they created in the first place? An old need that had turned into a discarded want?
He eyed the woman again. "What are you doing out here?"
Hm. Indifferent he says. He said it convincingly and seemed to be indifferent about a lot of things. She probably thought that his first question had a certain reason behind it other than curiosity. Like he might have been one of those who made the benches or something and was upset to see people not using them. But now that she thought of it again it sounded unlikely.
This man sure liked to ask questions. Ones she actually needed to pause to answer. What was she doing here again?
"Killing time," she said after a moment's pause. "And ... trying to enjoy the nice weather, I guess," That's what people do, right ?
Leaning forwards and resting her elbows on her knees, she looked up at him and asked, "Do you always wander around the park and interview people?" That was a joke but she kept that off her face thinking he looked smart enough to figure that out.

What was it he had heard some time ago? Killing time, equated to boredom, right? Something like that. He understood boredom, but his way of handling it wasn't quite so....still.
Another glance was given towards the sky and the sun, squinting a little. Nice...weather. He hadn't really thought about it to be honest. People, were much more interesting than the weather. The weather, was simple to figure out. Hot, cold, wet, dry. It did it's own thing, without needing any attention. A constant.
Mathis's attention drifted back to the woman. "No. Not usually up here." His mouth twitched in a frown. "Do you?"

Jasmine laughed at Alex's humor and shook her head. "I HIGHLY doubt that but I appreciate it all the same." She was smiling bright because she missed one of her best friends. I mean she helped her get through her old department and she was the only one she could talk to. Also not to mention she was a great shopping buddy too. Jasmine was happy to see Alex's reaction to her new husband. Jasmine hoped to have that same expression someday. Jazz raised her eyebrows and cleared her throat. "Well I am dating someone at the moment.." she said looking down and blushing the playing with her shirts. Can't deny Jasmine was curious. "What does his brothers or cousins look like out of curiosity?" she grinned.
"I do fancy coming back to level four don't get me wrong. I will visit someday but I love my department Alex. I love Accident and Catastrophes. It doesn't feel like work for me." she told her honestly. She could understand that yeah?

"Believe it. Have you forgotten already that my husband works with magical creatures?" Which meant she was immune to the stench. But Jasmine already knew that and was clearly preoccupied, as indicated by her next comment to which Alex just beamed. "Are you? Who? Do I know him? What's his name? Where did you two meet?" Because clearly her best friend had been too busy to fill her in on all the DEETS. or she'd been too busy "What does it matter about his brothers or cousins... or you not that committed?" Alex laughed, shaking her head. "But honestly, they're kind of all built the same, but their different too, y'know? I'm still learning his family so..."
"No worries I understand that completely! I'm sure you're brilliant there too, so I'm happy for you." Alex nodded, "But you should visit. Level four has been through quite a few changes since you left. Remember Emmalee? She used to be in botany. She's now the head of department." Which totally made sense since the girl was the most senior member, even despite her extended absence.

Jasmine gaped and totally forgot about that. She facepalmed herself playfully of course and said, "Oh mann I keep forgetting. I keep thinking he is like a business owner or something. He just seems so fancy.." she smirked playfully. Now back onto her with her new boyfriend. "Well his name is Alex.." she smirked and I mean there was no similarity there."He does work in the ministry but I don't know exactly where yet.." she smiled and trying to be secretive. I mean she wanted him to be mysterious as possible. "I mean I will let you meet him soon I promise.." Least she could do for her best friend. Where did they meet? "Well we met at the cafe down the road actually. I think it was Pequod Cafe something like that and we met over a cup of tea and we just learned a lot about each other. I was literally falling in love with what he was saying and such..." she was swooning just thinking about. Was she blushing or was it showing too much?
Jasmine laughed and shook her head and dismissed what she said, "No no no I am committed I swear! I was just curious incase I have to meet them someday.." she nudged her. Aahh she was still learning his family, it made sense. Awww this is why she loved Alex. She was soo understanding. She beamed and gave her a tight hug for her words of understanding. "Thanks girl this is why we are best friends." She hoped she didn't mind a sweaty hug though. Now at this news her eyebrows raised his impressment. Now that was news she didn't hear. "Yeah now I have to visit soon! I mean Emmalee president now? Wowwww how long have I been gone?" she teased. "Well just shoot me a text and you can show me around the place!" I mean that would be helpful.

It was just another day. Except that even though it was November, it wasn’t too cold… and that Harper had a date with her boyfriend this afternoon before they went to pick up Little Harper from Rosa’s care. Lawson had been studying all morning, and they had decided that Harper would be okay with Rosa for a few more hours; she did, after all love Rosa like she was part of the family… Heck, she was part of the family.
Harper smiled as she looked up from the park bench that she sat on reading her book, at Lawson who had just come straight from the library… though you couldn’t tell it so she assumed that he had shrunk his books into his pocket.
”Oh, hi Mr. Healer.” The blonder woman grinned wide at the brunet man who she stood up to greet. With her heels on, she was the PERFECT height for a welcome kiss. Huge grin to the man.
Yup. Her day had just become one hundred percent better now.

It was just another day. His life was so much stuck in a routine that he didn't see it any other way.
Work. Studies. Harper.
For sometime now another Harper was in his life but still his life was nothing but a routine. The other Harper made it pleasant though, a little easier to get by. Not that he had complained about his life before. He liked it but he couldn't deny that the other Harper made it nicer. Like right now ... if he hadn't met her, he'd be going to Rosa to pick up his daughter and then back home and so on. But since he had met her, he was going to meet her and know he would smile and it would be light and a part of his day when he didn't have to think.
Lawson smiled when she looked up, and shook his head lightly, "Not yet, soon though" he said before leaning in and placing a small kiss on her lips. THAT was nice. So he groaned, and whispered close to her lips: "Can't we just skip the date thing and go home?" THAT would fun, yes.

Harper did love her afternoons off of work with Lawson. And she liked the afternoons where she could spend some time with the little, way more adorable Harper before she had to go to bed. There was just something so precious about Harper and the love that Lawson had for her. His daughter, that was - not her.
Though, maybe? Heh. Who knew. Maybe she would at some point in the future… but for right now? Life was for living.
”Yes, but you will be. So you are my healer” Yup. She didn’t care who knew - but Lawson was going to be an amazing Healer one day VERY VERY soon. The world would see just what Harper knew… well, hopefully not everything - but they would see that he was MADE to be a Healer. If only he had a little more faith in himself.
Oh! Kisses.
Grinning as she pulled back slightly, Harper couldn’t help the small chuckle that escaped her lips. ”A walk first, at least… I like making sure that you have had some air and sunshine in your life.” She smiled, her hand finding his before moving to walk around the park. We don’t have to stay for long, but could we get ice cream on the way back to yours?” She asked him. What? She loved ice cream.
Ember had started her new job at at a kneazle sanctuary early in January. It had been a long, hard decision, whether she wanted to leave the Ministry or not, but...with things going so well with Dmitry, and them living together, she just...felt like all of the pieces were in place in her life except for her job.
She loved her job, she had loved it, but....her mind had always assumed she'd be working at a sanctuary she truly loved. And for now...she felt like she needed a break from the paperwork that her old job entailed, and the...freedom of working closely with animals.
And Harmony had taken it well. She really had. So here she was, a picnic blanket in hand, a basket of pastries in the other. She thought Harmony might have been too busy..but no, she wasn't. She was so excited to her see her former boss, catch up, etc..

She peeked around...where was....a good spot?
Harmony couldn't be more excited about seeing Ember. The woman had been a kindred spirit in a sometimes unwelcoming work environment and the red head missed her former employee's positive attitude. She's always been such a ray of sunshine, Ember had. Level four wasn't the same without her, that was for sure. Lucky for Harmony, the woman had agreed to keep in touch!
"Emberrrrr!" Harmony had spotted her from a ways away and couldn't contain her enthusiasm. She'd been looking forward to this. And so the department head hurried towards her vibrant looking friend, a smile plastered on her face. This was going to be fun, she could already tell!

Val could admit he wasn't the type to hang around the city leisurely, especially alone. It was different today, though. As with some other random days, which was perfectly okay with him. More than okay actually, as he held James' hand, letting him lead to that good spot he knew about in the Park.
Occasionally, he would ask, "Here?" Almost impatiently in his native french language. Since this dessert he brought was a little too cool for touch in his other hand. It was an almost since James was carrying the other stuff as he looked on... Suddenly it wasn't so chilly anymore for him.
Yoona had a good first week in her new job. She had not fully adjusted to the new environment yet, but her team members were nice and the work was manageable. She knew that not every week will be as smooth, but at least she got to know what she was dealing with.
The weekend came and she did not want to waste it slacking at home. Instead, she went out to the city park. The forty-year-old had been here before with her family and loved it. Quiet and beautiful - it was difficult to imagine that there were busy London streets and buildings just outside the park. A warm breeze swept her face as she headed towards the large pond in the center. Taking a seat on the ground nearby, she closed her eyes and inhaled.

As usual, there was a grin on James' face. It was kind of a natural thing, but today it was even wider. It Valentine's Day and he was kind of a cheesy little sap, so naturally he was coming out here with Val with a giant picnic basket and blanket with all their favorite foods. It was a debate between this or a fancy sit-down place, but a casual but nice picnic one. Even if it wasn't terribly warm yet, it was still pleasant out. And they could keep each other warm if needed to.
"A little farther," James answered, lugging the basket a few feet further to a less-lumpy grass spot. Then he set the basket down and grabbed the blanket by the corners and spread it out on the grass for them. James plopped down on the blanket, legs criss-cross and looked up at his beau with a wide grin, patting the empty spot beside him.

How did he do it? Val often asked himself of his boyfriend of 19 months who was naturally a charmer. Among other things. Finally they stopped at last, as his hazel eyes gazed around at the area, "Nice spot.." Before looking on to the neatly set blanket and James sitting there by the tree..
A meek grin showed before he joined in to sit cosily close, "I.. had made us somezing at work earlier." Before opening the little box he carried, revealing a delicious looking sundae with heart shaped strawberries and whipped topping with their favourite flavours together. Oh, and two little plastic spoons to go with. "Do you like? We can have it later if you vant."

Ember had kicked off her shoes, crossed her legs in criss-cross style, and begun unpacking the pastries from the basket. The light, cool breeze made Ember shiver, but she smiled at the smell of the fresh, park air.
Ahhhh.
So good.
She found herself closing her eyes and beginning a meditation, just because she was feeling so mellow and relaxed, why not? She was so into her own mind that when Harmony spoke, Ember didn't immediately respond. It took a few seconds for her mind to alert her to the woman's presence....
Ember's eyes slowly blinked open. "Oh--HARMONY--" Ember practically scrambled up QUICKlLY and hugged Harmony. "HI!" she said, as cheerfully as ever, smiling from ear to ear. "How are you?! I hope you weren't standing there TOO long--I got a little relaxed--" she grinned and just jlrhirhfeirhfiuthg SHEWUIDHERFHG. Ember's hyper-ness was...slowly rising.

Excited, James peered into the box to find a nice and delicious looking sundae. Everything he loved AND heart-shaped strawberries. A cheeky grin spread across James' face. "Careful, Val. People might think you're starting to go soft." He was losing his stone-cold reputation.
All thanks to him.
"You know what they say," James said, grabbing a spoon. "Eat dessert first, so it doesn't melt." Well, that was what he said anyway. He took said spoon and took a scoop out of the ice cream, strawberry first. Mmmmmmhm. He approved.

The kiss was definitely another treat to Val, who only turned his head right after to return the kiss on James' cheek as well. He then watched on, his hazel eyes lingering on James as he awaited his reaction to the treat. His smile made his meek grin turn not so meek. Him? Soft? "..Vhat if I don't care?" Which was always true about him, for the most part. Smiling again, just so he knew that there was no need to put up a front around him... until now.
"No one but you says zhat." A glimpse of the old Val who looked outraged, even though he found this amusing as he went to take the spoon he had just scooped. "You know what they say. Beauty before age." Which he made up on the spot as he took a bite into the scoop. Delicious.
Inspiration. Greyson was in need of it and decided to stop by the city park in search of it one day when he was in London. He had been to this particular park only once before, but figured he'd find something new to catch his eye. He'd be visiting Ibiza soon and was sure to find something there as well, but, as he painted various aspects of the island many times, he was looking for something a little different today.
The Chudley Cannons Seeker slowly strolled through the park, looking around at the people there as well as the scenery. Eventually, he took a seat on one of the benches near the small pond and opened up the sketch pad he had tucked under his arm. Surely he could find something interesting around here, but for now he began sketching a couple of the swimming ducks.

Aina was in London for the day because she just so happened to tag along with her brother Diarmuid who had some photoshoot. The plan was, after he was done flirting with the photographer and getting shirtless pictures taken, they would go out for dinner. Nice sibling quality time. But since she didn't fancy hanging around watching him work she'd decided to spend her afternoon with a book in the park. At least until she felt the need for snacks anyway.
She was looking for a place to sit with her book but also just enjoying the stroll. Aina didn't mind being around muggles, and she liked how when you were among them, you felt so insignificant, like just a number. Not that she was famous or anything it was just that sometimes the Wizarding World felt so small.
Speaking of small.... she definitely knew that face. Helloooo seeker. Little bit of shameless eyeing going on over here. MUCH better than watching her brother, that was for sure.

Greyson watched the birds with a chuckle as two of them got into some sort of squabble over a piece of food and he turned the page of his sketchpad to quickly lay out a new scene. He wasn't so sure that anything he had sketched so far was worthy of painting later, but he did enjoy the practice life studies lent to him. And there was still plenty of opportunity to find something. Perhaps he just needed a different perspective.
As he allowed his eyes to travel along the edge of the pond, Greyson got the distinct feeling of being watched. It certainly wasn't a feeling that he was unaccustomed to given his celebrity status among those familiar with his occupation, but he supposed he wasn't expecting it here. Though maybe it was just someone interested in what he was doing.
Looking up, he noticed a woman not far from where he was sat. Giving her a crooked sort of smile and acknowledging nod, he turned his attention slightly more towards her, mentally composing her with the surroundings. Much better than sketching squabbling ducks, though he did prefer the candid actions of real life.

Who wouldn't take a smile as an invitation? Especially when it came to attractive Quidditch players. And Martina would be jeaaaalous to hear she'd met Greyson Andres today. Ruby too, probably, if she wasn't too busy being emotional and whatever. Hmmm she'd need a selfie to really rub it in.
So Aina closed the distance and invited herself to sit down, though, not creepy close. She wasn't a stalker or anything.
"So is this just a hobby or a potential fallback career if you happen to get in a terrible collision?" Mmm? a WRONGski feint? Heh. She was good at amusing herself. Yes. Now from that, surely he'd figure she was no muggle, she knew who he was and what he did after all.
