Krel slipped into a chair as the meeting started. She was only a little surprised when Herr Delacroix mentioned her and a result gave a small wave of her hand in acknowledgement. She really didn’t have much to offer to the conversation. After all, she had brought Germany’s issues to her country’s attention as soon as they had informed her of the problems. And since her visit home a few months ago, she hadn’t been informed of any other issues the German government had come across. Well, at least not with dragon eggs.

Still, she felt the need to say something. ”Nothing new has been brought to my attention since we last spoke.” She glanced around the room wondering if anyone else had had issues. Bringing back the information had been the most exciting thing to happen to her (in regards to work) in a while.

Stewart listened politely to the briefing and adjusted his glasses on his nose as he looked over the packet which he was already familiar with, having requested it beforehand in order to come better prepared. Something these newer ambassadors needed to learn perhaps? No matter, they all had to start somewhere.

Taking his quill, a Eurasian griffon vulture quill gifted to him by the Greek Ministry, he quickly jotted down the locations in order to run them by his contacts. Arguably one of the countries with the largest population of magical beasts, Greece was not a stranger to smuggling. Stewart waited his turn to share his findings, clearing his throat to get everyone's attention.

"Hello ambassadors," he nodded to a few, then turned to Mr. Delacroix. "As you know we're often in contact about various illegal smuggling operations happening in Greece as it is a daily occurrence and one the magical community as a whole is aware of." At least, Stewart hoped they were aware. One simply could not forget the famous case of the three headed dog at their very own Hogwarts. "Athens is usually the center of commerce, but I have heard that the dragon eggs are originating from the islands since their sheer number effectively hides any smugglers from the scrutiny of the Greek Ministry. The eggs are then transported to Thessaloniki, a major market that is more Europe oriented, where buyers move them into mainland Europe, usually Bulgaria or Albania."

Sliding a report he had drafted shortly before the meeting to Mr. Delacroix, he addressed the ambassadors at large. "This is extremely worrying, because it means these dragon eggs are very mobile and hard to pinpoint. The Greek authorities did catch a smuggling ring just last June, but their reach is massive and the work is very time consuming," he nodded, and looked down at his notes to see if he had missed anything. "That is all on my end, I shall keep requesting information from the Greeks as the investigation continues."

He took notes as the ambassadors spoke about the different egg smuggling issues they were having in each country. Even though none of them were part of the investigation the British Ministry was dealing with it was good information. Erec knew this wasn't something new and that egg smuggling was one of the biggest issues in the wizarding world. He would just stay silent for a few more moments to give the others time to talk and give updates on what was going on.

"Thank you Sachin, yes Chinese Fireball are always a popular egg that happens to be taken. We will keep our eyes out here for them to show up as well." He then turned his attention to the next set of notes he had written. Krel had been the reason he knew the eggs showed up in another country. Whether the smuggler had meant to send them there or not they were the eggs and the same finger prints so he knew the two were connected. "Well that's good to know. I think the man might have gotten careless, which was good for us." It had helped break the lead they were looking for.

Stewart was full of great information and Erect checked out the paper he was given. "Thank you, Stewart, this is great work. None of this seems to be in connection with the issue here, but it's great evidence that we have possibly a one man show that had his exact reasons and spots. That makes this easier as well as more easy breathing that we aren't dealing with a smuggling organization." Thank Merlin for that, because the paperwork and ministries that would be involved would cause more time before they could get their guy. "We will certainly keep our eyes out for things here.
I do have a list of the dragon eggs that are most valuable and probably most wanted in the smuggling rings so keep an eye on this with your countries.
" He knew they were doing their jobs and the countries ambassadors that worked here did amazing work as well. He hadn't any foreign relation trouble since taking over the department head position, which he considered a good thing.

"With the information brought here, we are going to move forward in Britain with the man of interest. I will have to stay in contact with the American Ministry to see about him being charged here or there, plus contact Romania since the eggs were from there." He wrote a few more notes as he would forget his steps if he didn't. Maybe his interns could even try their hand at the owls he needed to send.

"Now that I do have you all in the same room you have done a wonderful job with this as well as getting me the paperwork and contracts for the trade show coming up next year. As all of you know every year we go through this paperwork for the trade show and it can be easy or difficult depending on which country is holding it and what their regulations are. Since we did win the bid to hold the international trade show in London I have made the actual contract, information packs, as well as trade show applications for you to take back to your ministries. The paperwork and contract will need to be signed by the department heads of IMC in each country, a list of items companies will bring will need to be done six months before the show is going to happen. Any companies in your countries that wish to bring something to present at the trade show will have to get their application, entry fee, and travel visa proof into you so you can send it to us no later than May 2094. " He looked around the room to make sure they all followed which he assumed they would.

"Is there any questions or other information that needs to be said today?"

Sachin nodded to Erec in reply. His mind was already in hyper drive, adding his upcoming task mentally: he needed to follow up on the Egg situation in India. Then he was zoning in back to the meeting. The trade fair was always something exciting and the fact that they were holding it in Britain this time around meant double the excitement.

Using his own pen and notepad, he noted what was to be required for India's IMC. The earlier they got everything done, the better. It would save them and him the last minute hassle. "No questions. May 2094 is plenty of time to have the necessary documents sent in.''
