Jayden approached the security desk with his hands in his pockets. "Hey." he said to the first person behind the check-in. "Jayden Monroe. Transportation Department." he said. Hmm... as much as he loved a party, he could think of a million things he'd rather be doing right now. Oh, well. Free food was always good in his book. Quote:

A celebration, huh? James walked towards this so called celebration he had suddenly heard of. Being new and all, he obviously didn't know people here. Le sigh. But this might be a good place to start. "James Sykes, Department of Magical Transportation," James spoke up as he reached the metal detector looking thing. |
For once, Sion brought an aura nothing short of professional. She had even dressed "respectably," to use the old man's lingo. "Sion Jetza." Her voice was calm, even detached, but not unpleasant. "Unspeakable. Former Head of the Department of Mysteries." She held out her ID, then added, "Sporting that tee mandatory?" If yes, that rule could go live in a bog. Sion Jetza had no plans to be seen in that dreadful fashion disaster. |

"Thank you," she smiled gratefully, though inwardly cringing about the shirt. Honestly, it ruined her outfit! But reluctantly - because she wasn't one to cause trouble, but just wanted to blend it, she put in. "Er... have a nice time." Yup. She was going now. Quote:
Nodding at the security guy, she was about to turn into the party when some sort of argument caught her attention... Quote:

This posts sucks but I'm just moving people away, so don't mind me! Quote:

Hoshino nodded at the man and lead Emmy away towards the press box. |

Another one of my charries coming through, sorry for the spam Although she would call herself an independent young woman, Daphne Hopton was quite nervous about attending large gatherings without some kind of companion. She no longer needed the guidance or protection her caretaker, Davis but she did feel a little lost at the moment. There was a surprising amount of young faces that even made the blond feel a little aged. She patted one cheek consciously, wondering if she should have applied a little more concealer and an extra sun block charm. She held her employee ID in her hand, swinging from it's strap. Honestly, it wasn't a very pretty accessory and it clashed with her outfit. The young witch was too vain (and young) to worry about appearing spoiled. She wasn't sure if there was a line she was supposed to stand in or whether this was one of those 'wave-your-arm-erratically-until-someone-gets-to-you' kind of places. Daphne pursed her lips and patted her other cheek. Hopefully, that single charm would hold up. Sunburns were incredibly unappealing. |

Then she was off, to mingle, or not. Who knew. |
Persephone strolled by the security checkpoint. She cut through the queue and walked past the barrier. Being part of the security team afforded her such courtesies. She was also lucky enough to be on a special assignment, meaning she got to dress in civilian attire and could somewhat enjoy the party. She did, however, want to stop by and chat briefly with the rest of her department, tasked with doing more intensive security sweeps. "How's everything going? No problems I assume?" she said casually, glancing around at everyone waiting. She didn't see any imminent threats or trouble makers, but without doing proper checks, how would she really know? |
Katalin took her t shirt and walked into the party, she was wondering if her husband was going to come because he worked for the ministry too! |
Medea took her shirt, pulled it on and made her way into the party. This shirt was aweful. BLAH! Now, to locate the beverage area. |

Eh. Whatevs. "Hogwarts seventh year... got my invite," he added, holding it up after unfolding it, because he didn't look like an average student. Mhmmm. |
Warren walked towards the security check in, after apparating near the North end of the street. Cane at hand, Warren felt odd. It had been years since he'd gone to a party, and now he was going with a cane. It wasn't like he was actually using it to help him. It was just a saftey precaution, old age made his legs unpredictable. He never knew if they were going to work properly or not. But what an odd day... his application to the Ministry had been acepted on a Holiday for Lord Borr. He was suprised that the Large man had even allowed owls to fly on this day... So many stories of the 'Important, and Busy' man had flown around in his old office before his position had been cut. But now, he was going to see if any of them were true. Maybe he'd gone to school with the Lord, and just didn't remember, but Warren would have remembered a man of that structure, and name. Warren reached the Check in area... he'd never seen so much security at a party. The World Cup, he understood... maybe even a Party of the Minister herself, but a Junior Undersecretary... was the man really this Important... and if he were so Busy, why exactly would he want to have an entire day devoted to his party? |
Nils heard there was a celebration going on, and decided on attending the even to see what it was all about. He wore a navy blue suit for the event, and he stood in front of the detector. It seemed odd, but he didn't think much of it, the security mens also made him lose his cool just slightly. That security could have been him, but now he was appointed somewhere else, and he was going to take the job to heart. "Nils King. New Accident and Castophres employee"He introduced himself. |
Rex had better things to do than attend a party for a pompous man who fancied himself a lord. Upon arriving at the security checkpoint, he noticed that some people were under-dressed in their regular clothes while a few others arrived in more formal attire. He chose the safe monochromatic route - black slacks, shirt, jacket, and shoes. No tie. He approached the security desk and promptly stated his details. "Rex Vindictus, Head of Magical Games and Sports." |
Making his way to the tent, Gavin sighed coming up to the checkin point. He'd finally gotten the transfer out of the Time Room, which was a relief. He knew this position that he'd taken he was much better fitted for and was anxious to begin and here he got a full day off...for a party of all things. "Gavin Higareda. Department of International Cooperation." He stated in his soft but deep voice. Looking over toward the tables, he wondered if he was under dressed. He wore what he normally did to work each day. He had some nice dark blue dress pants with a white button up shirt and blazer over it. |

"Here is your Lord Borr shirt, have a nice day!" Quote:
Smiling at his fellow level Two-er Prometheus was once again jealous of those that were not being forced to wear the Borr Shirt, "Morning Persephone," he grinned handing her the shirt, "You get this as a gift, however I also need to see either some ID or your invite, you know protocol" he laughed, he knew who she was, they worked together, however security was, for today anyway, his job! Quote:
Old people, loved Prometheus! Quote:

"Mr Higareda," he mumbled as he searched for the name, "Aha, here we are," he exclaimed as he found it, and ticked it off, "This is for you," Prometheus added as he passed over the shirt "A gift from Lord Borr to you!" Gosh he was sounding so cheesy! "Enjoy!" Quote:
And considering he was in the 'H's Prometheus decided it was about time to let his little brother in, however someone else had arrived at his section..... Now this was going to be good, Patroclus had hoped that Prometheus' boss would have spotted his brother stopping him for getting in first, but it seemed that Professor Haldey was to be his savoir "Professor This man, won't let me in!" Why you little.....Prometheus thought as Patroclus totally threw him under the KnightBus. Taking in his little brother's words, the young man realised that he was dealing with a Professor, "No Problem, Ma'am, just brothers having a bit of fun! It's been ages since I have seen the little tyke!" he grinned as he drew his brother into a headlock and ruffled his hair! 'MY HAIR!' |

Did the man just raise his voice at Warren? How rude. "I'm not deaf, lad." he aid to the boy, now miming at the list. He didn't look that old, did he? No, he couldn't, he wasn't that old. Warren's aging fingers reached for his Ministry identification, and handed it over to the younger man. "Warren Miller. Minister's Office." he stated, as if he'd had the position for a while. And he was in charge of their pay, so cool it... He's not that old. He had a question for this man now... "Did the Minister have a party this large for herself?" cause Warren was never invited, but then again he'd only started working a the ministry. |
Merlin's Beard! A party on her very first day? This certainly sounded like a work place that Isla would enjoy very much, unless this party was just a one off... because then it would just turn it back into a boring old, stereotypical work place. She wandered into the check in section, not really knowing simple things such as where to stand or where to put her hands, or even where to look. Here looked good. She stood in front of one of the desks, "Hi there. I'm Isla Merrygold, Department of International Cooperation." She told one of the main guys with a toothy grin. Now what? Time to get her groove on? |
Gabriel was in the smartest suit he could find among the many he had. His wand was safely stored in it's holder, just a flick away from being in his hand. You never knew when it might be needed. Running a hand through his hair, he made sure it was tidy as he wandered up to the line at the Security check in. Eyeing up the t-shirts as he waited, his face crinkled in slight disgust. Did they HAVE to wear one of those? It certainly would not go with a double breasted suit. Taking his new Ministry ID out of his pocket, he fiddled with the corner of it, taking a step forward everytime someone else was let through. Finally it was his turn. "Gabriel Vartann," he announced with a smile, and a hint of his Spanish accent coming out. "Newly transferred to the Security division." Yep. The place he'd been hoping for. |

....And he was getting a t-shirt. "Urrr, thank you very much," he said, slightly hesitantly. Taking it, he rolled his eyes and clenched his fist around it. There no way he was putting it on unless it was absolutely necessary. Please tell him it wasn't. |

Someone was vociferous! Daphne flinched and almost retrieved her hand, ID card and all. Her name being spoken (or shouted) from the man's lips cued her in and the blond simply nodded before trying to get her knees to work once more and bend. "You too!" she said, not nearly as loudly as the security man of course. Daphne couldn't have said anything else even if she wanted. The hideous t-shirt she found herself carrying was distracting enough to warrant a gasp. Daphne placed it face down and carried it this way as she left the line and walked away, wondering if there was a familiar figure somewhere she could bother. |
Thank you. Now...What will we be doing here today, may I ask, does anyone know?"He asked looking around for a fit person to tell him any news.Lord Borr seemed like a extremely important person having invited all these ministry workers and young students. Nils walked around a bit trying to scope out who came from the Ministry and why little children were also attending the event. |
