Iris kept close to the rest of the group as they made their way out of the party. Every so often, she'd glance to one of the students, trying to give them a somewhat supportive smile. This trip had been a complete waste of time, but Iris wasn't going to voice this. Not while Borr's minions might still be lurking near them. As she walked, Iris thought about the red-headed woman that seemed to have kept a close eye on the prefect. She really did creep Iris out a little. It was like she was trying to get into Iris' mind or something. Iris was brought out of her thoughts by Tate when he said they were going to Gringott's. The prefect nodded to the headmaster, and stood close by waiting for everyone to gather together, while resuming her thoughts on the creepy red-headed woman... |

Evander, after doing a quick round of the party area, approached the security checkpoint and Headmaster Tate. "Are all your people accounted for?" 7 minutes to go. He looked around for Dorian Tamerlane and when he spotted the man he called quietly, but loud enough for his voice to carry. "Dorian, do you have a minute?" He asked in a tone that really meant, 'Dorian, even if you don't have a minute, make one.' "Damien and I need to accompany the Hogwarts contingent back to the school, I need you to hold the fort." So to speak. Tamerlane was more than capable of keeping an eye on things here. Wouldn't be like he was alone or anything. MLE was a good team these days. |
Simon made his way back they way they had oringinally came with the rest of the group, more then ready to leave the unneccessary fiasco. The sixth year staying near the back of the bunch taking a protective stance making sure his friends and the others didn't get separated in any way. Hearing the headmaster, he nodded again glad it would be a quick trip at least for he doubted any of his companions werent wishing for the school and the presence of more friendly forces. Gavin spotted the headmaster and his charges approaching bringing his attention back to the task at hand. It seemed security would also be around, the reminiscator reconizing the other department head also approaching making the situation even more interesting. He exchanged glances with his superior and moved a little closer though still allowing the woman the lead she deserved as his own head. |
"They're here," Tate agreed with assurance. And if they weren't, then they were going to walk back to Scotland. He shoved his way through those still entering the party, making a hole for the students to pass through. "Hustle, kids. We're on a schedule here." Sort of. They were on a 'don't let Tate's head explode' thing. Almost the same as a schedule. After a few moments of ensuring the students saw him and were moving in the right direction, he turned toward Gringott's. |
Still holding onto Lexi7s hand, Kurumi followed the crowd of Hogwarts students as they made their way back to the Security check-point. While she was glad they were going to be heading back to the school soon, she felt a little uneasy about leaving so suddenly and without thanking their host properly. Her mother would kill her if she knew. That, and the woman would probably try and strangle the Headmaster for turning all his students into rude little piglets. “Headmaster,” Kurumi said nervously. “S-Shouldn’t we thank Lord Borr for inviting us?” She looked around at her fellow students who looked like they wanted to hex the man into the next century…or later…for canceling exams. Kurumi sure hoped that he un-canceled them by the time she was old enough to take them. |
Silently, she watched as the group gathered, eyes lingering briefly on the new face she assumed to be ministry security Tate was speaking with. And then they were off to Gringott's. She'd stopped worrying about keeping close to Sabel since he was doing a fine job of keeping close to her on his own, and followed behind Tate towards the wizarding bank. |
There was no time to dilly-dally apparently. Tate looked in a right mood to simply apparate everyone back to Hogwarts, and those he was speaking with didn't seem much better. Yup, it was definitely another year at Hogwarts. Despite Kurumi's soft heart and honest intentions, he didn't spare the fat man on the dais another glance as he turned and followed closely behind Tate and Arya to Gringotts. He'd never been to the wizarding bank before. Guess there was a first time for everything. |

As the next girl approached, his grey eyes barely flickered to acknowledge her nervous tic, even though he'd noted it and filed it away. It was possible her words had explained it away, though, and he nodded. "Identification?," he asked. Even if she hadn't been placed yet, which assumed she was incoming Ministry, she ought to have some sort of identification. Her reaction to the t-shirts was certainly odd, as he held one ready in one hand once she'd verified her identity. Quote:

Ehh. Too lazy to quote. Kristin and the students :D GASP! Students! Students that Nolan recognized from his days at Hogwarts! A grin formed on the former Divination professor's face and he waved as they passed, although Tate had moved them along rather quickly and he wasn't sure they'd even seen him. Sigh. Oh well. He could catch up with Tate and the rest of the Hogwartians once he got past checkout and He turned and faced the Security wizard who was asking for his name. He glanced behind him once more, just to make sure Ginger hadn't apparated nearby while he had been distracted, before turning back to the man. "Nolan Reynolds," he told him with a soft smile. He unconsciously buttoned another button on his cardigan, just to signal that he had NO INTENTION of wearing that heinous thing. |
