Tired of spending most of the time in her common room to study. Juniper took a little walk down to the fourth floor. Hoping that no one was down in the study hall room. Not that she minded if someone else was there. It was just that she was wanting to study alone. Hence why she had wandered down to the fourth floor.

She had plenty of work to do Arithmancy, Runes and Transfiguration. A total of three subjects and papers to write. Luckily for her she had a few days before they were due. But the sooner she got done with them the better in her opinion anyway. She pulled out her Transfiguration book first, time to get this one out of the way.

Frustrated with mounds of homework, a million rules to keep track of, and a bunch of professors getting sacked (leaving him with a new Head of House who looked like the personification of the color beige), Benji was looking for some solitude to study in. He had done a lot of exploring around the castle and had found just a few places where there usually weren't any people. One of those places was the study hall near the library. Surprisingly enough, although it was a room designated for studying, Benji had really never seen anybody in there. It seemed like most people went into the library or scattered somewhere around the castle with friends. Go figure.

He made his way to the study hall, hoping nobody would be there, lugging his giant divination book. It was truly his worst subject, and he was absolutely terrified of the professor wanted to do well. He pushed open the door and... What? A... Person? What the heck! "Oh, he said aloud without really meaning to. He was just surprised!

Juniper soon dove right into her work. Scribbling down things about human transfiguration onto her parchment. With transfiguration being one of her favorite subjects writing the paper was coming easier to her than most of the other subjects. She was enjoying the quiet but it was kind of too quiet. She hoped that maybe it was quiet that others would think that no one was there and just bypass the room altogether.

But someone had found themselves in the room too. When she heard someone she turned around and looked to see who it was. ”Hey.” She greeted the younger Ravenclaw who had just go there.

Hmm. Was it too late now to leave? He’d been spotted, so probably. Benji placed his book on a table nearby. ”Hi,” he said in return. ”Sorry to intrude. I didn’t think anyone would be here...” He looked at the girl — she was on the Quidditch team, he was pretty sure, but they’d never met — trying to judge her reaction. He couldn’t tell if she seemed annoyed at his presence or not.

”It’s a free space.” Juni looked around when she hear a voice with a shrug. Seeing the younger Ravenclaw, she gave him a small smile. She didn’t mind that someone else was there. Unless they started making it hard for whoever was there, by causing problems or something while they were there.

The sixth year turn back to her book, and after a few minutes she spoke again. ”What are you doing here?” She asked, mostly waiting to know if whatever the younger boy was doing to make sure he wouldn’t be a bother. Again not that she minded if someone was there. As she had said it’s a free space. It wasn’t up to her who came and went.

Sigh. What was he doing there? "Divination," he shrugged. Benji didn't feel like any further explanation was necessary -- he got the feeling that just about everyone felt the way he did. Of course, he said it in a neutral tone. Wouldn't want anyone to think he was complaining, after all.

"What are you doing?" he asked in return, looking at the stacks of books and things surrounding her. He sat down a few tables away from her and began to pull out his own stuff meticulously. He actually was kind of curious. She was older. What cool stuff was she studying?!

It wasn't often that one, Rylee Prichard, could be found in the study hall. Normally all her studying was done either in her common room, dorm, outside or some other top secret location that really wasn't very top secret at all. However today she just wanted a change of scenery. Nothing that could distract her from her studying. Plus it was less likely to get into trouble in here.

With the way the Gryffindors mood had been lately it was best to lie low and steer herself clear of any and all professors. Students as well. Being on her own more often meant a greater portion of her attention was on furthering her studies as much as possible. Getting as far ahead as she could while continuing to maintain high marks in all her current lessons. While this was much easier said than done it didn't stop her from trying.

On the desk in front of her was not one, not two but three open textbooks. All Charms. While this may not have made any sense to anyone that spotted her she knew exactly what she was doing. Comparing. Getting as much facts as she could about the information she needed. Notes were definitely being taken and written down with great detail and perfection into the notebook that was also on the desk.
