| | First-Floor Corridor To get to Defence Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic, or Muggle Studies, one will have to make use of the first floor corridor. Getting here is usually relatively easy if you're coming from one of the lower levels of the castle as you need only deal with the moving staircases for just a few minutes. Rugs with intricate patterns have been placed on the floor to soften your footsteps so that any learning going on inside the classrooms isn't disturbed.
Make sure you are not dilly dallying on your way to or from class. This corridor in particular is often times filled with students during the school day and a few professors pointing those who have managed to get lost in the right direction. Various doors flank this corridor, so make sure to memorize which of the portraits are outside of the classrooms you should be entering. And don't freak out when the corridor comes to a sudden halt -- the door at the end of the hallway will take you outside to the stone bridge and then to the rest of the first floor over in the next tower. Just keep moving!

Oh dear. Ooohhh dear. Oh no. Oh DEAR.
It was missing. Missing! It was just gone! GONE! Dolly couldn't find it anywhere! She had noticed it was missing earlier that day and had spent the last - oh, who knows how long - searching for it. She checked under her mattress and in between the couch cushions. She checked all her desk drawers and even her underwear drawer. And it was gone!
The old lady was on the hunt, a crooked, wrinkly finger pressed to her chin, while her frail, thin, wrinkly eyebrows furrowed together, her eyes scanning the halls that she walked down. Where could it have gone? Perhaps she had lost it on the way to class one day...

Once they swivelled to the first floor and she was walking down the corridor she saw Professor Dopple. Acting... odd.
"Hello Professor," Hanna greeted, as she neared the senior lady. "C-can I help you with something?"

"Hello Professor," Hanna greeted, as she neared the senior lady. "C-can I help you with something?" Little old Dolly Dopple was TWO SECONDS away from bursting into old laDY TEARS when a little student suddenly appeared and Dolly momentarily forgot that she had been looking for something. "Oh, hello my dear. I'm just looking for something. I haven't seen it in quite some time." The old lady wrung her hands and turned her eyes back to the floor. It was quite possible that she had dropped it along the way. But her vision wasn't what it once used to be. "Oh! Could you help me? Your eyes are much younger than mine." It would be a gREAT help.

Hanna's stomach opened into butterflies as she saw the older lady appearing rather upset. "Hello," Hanna replied, and placed a careful hand on Professor Dopple's shoulder. Carefully, just in case she had terrible arthritic shoulders.
And here strung another story about a missing thing. Was it those fluffy things that people had been spotting? "Of course I can!" she said. "Um what is it that we're looking for?"

Oh, what a darling little girl. Dolly's eyes shined as the girl put her hand on her shoulder. She smiled and placed her wrinkly old hand on top of hers. How sweet! If only ALL children were as lovely as this one!
And she was willing to help her find her thing! "Oh, you are very kind!" Dolly exclaimed, pulling an old tissue out of her sleeve to blow her nose. It was a rather loud blow. Quite trumpet like. Then she shoved the used tissue back up her sleeve. "We're looking for... Well, I've lost a, uh..." Dolly paused and thought a moment. "It's a..." Well, no, it wasn't that. Or that. Was it that? No, she had that. Wait a moment. "Oh!" she exclaimed, bringing a pointer finger into the air. And then... she deflated. "Oh, no, never mind. Well..." Then she paused for a long while. "Well, I can't remember!"

Hogwarts RPG Name: Archie O'Brien Slytherin Third Year | Feel free to grab! Click. Clack. Click. Clack. Click. Clack.
The sound of high heels beating against the floor echoed throughout the corridor, much like a steady heart beat. Heather had just finished up with classes for the day as she was heading back to the Slytherin Common Room to study and finish with her homework, but the girl had decided to take a bit of a detour to get there, as she really didn't really want to do any of that. All she wanted to do was hang out somewhere with friends or go walking around the castle grounds. Not to be trapped like some caged bird. The brown-eyed girl was always more of a free spirit, ambitious to go out and seek adventures. By whatever means to.
Heather was all to familiar with being a bit of a sneak sometimes. Wandering around restricted areas, trying to snoop and eavesdrop here and there. However, one place not even she would go would be the Forbidden Forest. Not after what had happened to that Slytherin student all those years ago, the one that had gotten eaten by the Acromantulas. At least, that's how the stories went, that is. However, she was pretty sure they were true as most of the time she could tell regular rumors from the actual truth. Either way, whether it was true or not, the stories were still horrifying and gruesome to the point where she could never work up the courage or bravery to step foot near that place.

And then she fled the scene.
