| | Art Classroom Located not too far from the Muggle Studies classroom is where you can find a space dedicated to all things related to arts and crafts. In this classroom, students such as yourself will be exposed to famous historical and modern Muggle and Wizard artists and strengthen your artistic abilities. Here numerous styles and techniques will be observed, and an array of projects will be produced and put on display for all to see.
When you enter the art classroom, you quickly realize that it is not set up like others in the castle. There are no desks in the vibrantly coloured room covered with paintings and other gizmos and gadgets aplenty. In the centre is a large table that is meant to serve as a universal workstation. Scattered around the room are smaller, individualized tables, easels, and shelves containing a number of books and any supplies your creative mind may need. Tucked in the back is a dark room for developing photographs. Everything in this room is for you to use, so long as you clean up after yourself.

| Potions TLA ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. He wasn’t working on art but he needed a nice quiet place to continue working on the Potions assignment. He had woken up one Saturday morning feeling quite motivated and itching to complete the final step in the second part of the assignment. The third year hastily dressed before sneaking out of the dorms so as to not wake Drake, Jan, Elias and the other guys. His bag was slung over a shoulder with all that he needed to get his plan in motion.
The Art Room was empty; thankfully no other student had opted to linger in the place this early morning. Ary chose a seat then set about spreading his textbooks and notes over the desk. He couldn’t wait to get this step over with. In his opinion, planning the steps and ingredients for a potion was too much of a hassle, especially when there wasn’t a guarantee that they would even work.
Thankfully, he had help. That couple with his own research would see him carefully detailing the steps now: - Prepare and measure all ingredients.
- Bring water to a slow boil.
- Add one tablespoon armadillo bile; stir 3 times counterclockwise.
- Place boom berry pieces one at a time into the mixture. Potion should turn burgundy.
- Add dandelion root pieces and simmer for ten minutes.
- Stir clockwise five times.
- Add remaining tablespoon of armadillo bile followed immediately by the goosegrass.
- Stir counterclockwise until the steam rises from the cauldron in a spiral shape. This should take about three minutes.
- Add flobberworm mucus then the crushed lionfish spine. Potion should turn bright orange.
- Stir once clockwise then once counterclockwise. Add one drop of neem oil. Repeat this step until all seven drops are in the mix.
- Add crushed snake fangs.
- Stir clockwise and slowly for one minute. Potion should now be turquoise.
- Allow to sit for at least one day before consumption.

Caledon Roth The Leaky Cauldron | COMC LTA (open to anyone!) Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Sydney entered the art classroom, wearing a blue cloth wrap around her front. Nestled snugly inside the wrap was Vox, aka the dragon egg she got from Professor Paton. She placed one arm protectively around the egg, just in case it slipped out of the wrap. In her other hand she held a basket and blanket she’d picked up when she got her egg. She glanced at the items with disdain. They needed some customization, especially if she was going to hatch a Swedish Short-snout like she wanted! “Alright, Vox. Let’s get you some supplies,” she said, gently patting the egg. She felt a bit odd talking to an inanimate object; she didn’t even know why. She talked to Alastor (her venus flytrap) all the time.
She spread the basket and blanket out on the nearest table. Still keeping one arm around Vox, she reached into her bag for her charms textbook. She’d try to charm the items first. If that didn’t work out, there had to be some paint she could use around here somewhere. What kind of art room wouldn’t have art supplies?!
Finding the spell in her textbook, she aimed her wand at the basket. “Colorvaria,” she cast, visualizing the basket changing from gray to blue. It did turn blue, just not as dark a shade as she wanted. Mildly disappointing, but at least she got the spell to work at all!
