Zander thought long and hard about how he could destroy the planets. It was easy in class because they had the set up already made, but now he actually had to do some real idea making, which was a lot harder than he thought it'd be. But at last, he came up with the MOST BRILLIANT (heh, literally) plan ever. With sand bag in hand he walked all the way over to the kitchens. Hehehe.

Taking out his wand he took a seat right in front of the fireplace. Carefully jabbing the bag, he said a quick "Fingere Elementi!!" AND HOLY MERLIN!! It worked! On the FIRST try! Again!! How come charms and defense against the dark arts took SO many tries but he could do this stuff in one go!? Romanos was probably blocking his magic in Defense, but charms... There was no reason to be suspicious of Fuller... Well, yet anyways.

Right then. A loud POP!later and a planet was born! Planet Zander. Actually, not planet Zander because it was about to be destroyed. Right anyways. "Locomotor planet!!!" And FIRST TRY. AGAIN!! HEHEHE. With a huge grin on his face, Zander guided the planet around the room a little just to make sure he had the hang of things. And..... SWING! Right into the fireplace!! Of course nothing really happened at first. It just sort of sat there. And that's when Zander started to doubt the oh-so-brilliant plan. Maybe he should've stuck to the generic way of destroying a planet so that--

WAIT IT WAS WORKING!!!

So what it took 5 minutes, but he could see it sweating! The planet was sweating and melting away and it was on FIYAAAA (literally). Poor little planet didn't even get a chance to live. Of course, Zander stayed a little longer to make sure it was completely destroyed and soon enough it was. But then, he got up on his feet again and headed out of the room 'cause he still had two more to get rid of! Well, three if you counted the extra bag he took out of the room just incase.

Zahra was tight with the House Elves these days. Since Divination last year, she knew them all by name and they PROBABLY all knew her by sight too. She loved them. They fed her. It was a beautiful relationship.

TODAY she was telling the elves about her day, about catching FAIRIES and junk, and they were making her some sort of chocolately surprise. She sat by the fire, feet propped up, chattering away.

"But I never DID catch one in my mouth. I figure I'll go back to Professor T's hedgebush and try again later if he's cool with it."

Being bootylicious was a full time job.

Besides studying and watching people and occasionally squealing like a little girl, Hugh spent MOST of his time eating. To maintain this look. Four-five kitchen stops a day counteracted all of the stair climbing he had to do. Phew.

Oh. A new face was in the kitchen. Well, not a NEW face. He'd seen her around before but never in the kitchens. Whatta do girl?

Better then the girl, though, was the chocolate. He leaned over the head of the elves, because they were smaller then him and he did the same thing at home, and stuck his grubby finger in whatever chocolate mixture they had cooking.

Liiiiick. Yum.

"But then Toby's girlfriend like started stink eyeing....," Zahra was MID STORY to the elves when she finally took notice of that Slytherin. HUGH. Bahaha funny name. It sounded like the noise she made when she ran up all seven floors of the castle. HUUGGGHH HUUUGHHHHH *AIR*

Hahaha!

"Hey man!" What was that he was LICKING?? Zahra eeeeeeeeeased over, subtle like a flaming brick, and put her nose into his bowl. "Hehe." COULD SHE HAVE SOME TOO?

"Hey girl, hey." Boom. Swag.

He sucked on his fingers to get rid of the chocolate. And because it was delicious. Mostly that last one.

Soooo delicious that he dipped back into the chocolate for round two. Yo. It was like a fudge chocolate too. Well done, house elves.

"You want some?" A formal invitation if ever.

He wiggled his chocolate fingers in her direction.

....Zahra grinned. Hey, girl hey! hehe She'd have offered him a high five, but INSTEAD she om-nommed-nommed his finger clean! "Thanks, man!" Swallow. "These elves... like... they never miss. That is DEE LISH UZZZ."

Still grinning, Zahra cozied up next to Hugh to watch the house elves. "I want them all."

Gah. Yo, man, girl just sucked his finger clean of chocolate. A- rude, that was his. B- AHH. That was so weird. No, no.

Is that how people got on, though? Had he always done it wrong? He didn't know, he had been home schooled, yo.

But he did know that girls shouldn't touch him. So he adopted a horrified expression.

"I have house elves." Inch, inch away.

Zahra had no idea what that face he was suddenly making was so she just made it back at him - or tried to. Was that GAS PAIN face? Then she died laughing at him. Funny kid, that Hugh.

"Oh man. LUCKY. I dunno why we don't have one. Are yours as cool as these? You should totes bring yours here! I would. I'd keep mine with me all the time. You just never know when hunger is gonna strike."

He was still trying to get away sloooowly. Like a boss, man.

"I don't see them much. The woman thinks they're dirty and should only stay in the kitchen. So they do." Shrug. But he liked the ones here. They were cool. They just let him take chocolate fudge.

Which random Gryffindors RUDELY ate off his fingers. Fo' real, though, girl. That was not how to make friends. He wasn't an expert, but he was pretty sure.

"....The Woman? What's that?" Zahra asked, moseying back over to the fireplace to plop down. Mmmm warm. PLUS the elves had just sat down some marshmallow topped chocolate thing with a SPOON that Zahra dug right into.

"The woman who gave birth to me." Duh. The woman. The only one who really was in his life that he HAD to deal with. Such a shame, that.

Grumble. Grumble. "You ate chocolate off my fingers, so by right...I've earned one of those." The delicious thing she was nomming on so casually after she had SCARRED him for life.

Fo' real. He'd see that in his nightmares. Stealing chocolate was a great offence.

....

"......you call your mum The Woman?" Whoa. That was pretty intense. "Don't think my mum would like that very much. And Dad would probably ground me for life." Zahra eyed the Slytherin, not sure if he was brave or stupid in his bold choice of mother title.

OH he wanted one? "Yeah man! Come on. I'll share." She patted the warm bit of fireplace seat beside her. She already had a mouthful and was offering a BIG BITE up to Hugh.

"Uh...yes?" What kind of a question was that, yo? He didn't get along with the woman, the woman didn't get along with him. They just had to deal with him. She tried to rule his liiiiife. And he wasn't about that, man. He was his own man...boy...thing.

.... "Father let's me do what I like. I don't think I've ever really been in trouble before with him." The two of them were friends. They hung out. Hated on the woman together. Males unite.

EHHK.

He wasn't sure he wanted to be sitting next to her quite yet. She had sucked his finger very rudely before. But...he liked food. So that won out.

Chomp.

Cosy enough for a spot of reading, perhaps? Most certainly!

The thick, beautifully decorated book appeared from thin air and stood upwards by the fireplace of the kitchen. The gold lettering glistened against the flames and let off a magnificent glow. A glow that simply had to be appreciated. Come along and pick it up for a quick nose! You know you want to!

Frustrated, but finally clean, Thornton made his way to the kitchen for something to eat. Head down, he shuffled past the fireplace, but something caught his eye.

Doubling back, he looked at the book. Fairy tales.

His parents had told him he was too old for those. But after the last few weeks, he wondered if his parents knew anything about how the rest of the world worked. Madness. It was all madness.

And so he grabbed the book, intending to go get some cookies and settle in for a good read.

The Fairy Tale Book of Fairy Tales could sense nosy children. And look! There was one right now! As almost every nosy child did, the book was soon picked up, which ignited an even brighter glow than before!

Open me!

Well, maybe the cookie could wait...

Thornton noticed the book glow brighter and it was perhaps curiosity about the glow more than the stories that had him stop and sit on the kitchen floor.

Crossing his legs, he put the book in his lap, eyeing it curiously, before flipping open the cover to see what was inside.

Excellent!

The book's sparkly glow followed the boy's fingertips as he opened the book, gradually forming a marvellous circle of magic around him. The book flicked a few pages by itself, resting against one certain page in particular...

Thornton read the page greedily, absorbing every word. Then, as suddenly as he had opened the book, he closed it and tucked it into his bag.

Slinging the bag over his shoulder, he hurried from the kitchen, cookie forgotten. There was something he had to do!

Well, what do you know? She was almost on her way out when... she knew who that boy was, he'd stood on the door to one of the classes. With Tobias. Very annoying little boy, by the way, because WHO stands in the middle of a classroom doorway when people are trying to get in?? Precisely. Not very smart, was he?

The fact that one carries around a book doesn't make you smart. This is one of those things that doesn't happen by association. Same as Kyroh when she found him with the Astronomy textbook. She had forgiven him back then, mainly because the book was one related to astronomy, so that was okay, but she didn't know what the book this Ravenclaw ickle was holding was all about.

For some reason she watched him, almost hidden by kitchen furniture and shadows. Shadows are always important. If only she had tea. But when the book started to glow even more, she remembered Lex. The book she had described didn't glow, but giggled. So, probably not the same. And she saw no wands or candy bags around. Yet she took out her camera and waited for a bit, still hiding, unable to be seen unless you were looking for her. GRANTED, she wanted to yell 'Get away from that book!', but NAH, if the boy somehow got possessed by it, then how many people can actually say they've taken a picture of it as it happens? Exactly.

Snap. Now, she had no idea if this was the book her bestie told her about, or if there was something of brilliance going on, but at least she had a wicked picture of the sparkly glow going around the boy, and the pages flicking places. "Alacer," was whispered after she tapped the wand against the picture, and it looked even more wicked as it moved.

Suppose she could go make some tea now. Raspberry tea sounded wonderful.

Oi, where did the little kid go? Blink.

Woah. She had just come down here for some food, but something more interesting seemed to be happening a little bit over. There was something in one kids hand, and it looked interesting enough. But food. Ophelia had only come down here for a nice, House Elf cooked meal. A meal in between meals to be exact. And the blonde kind of wanted that. But book. But meal. But book-meal. BOOK. It was going to be the book.

Walking over and looking over the kid who was holding the books shoulder, the blonde tried to read something or see something, but came up juuuust a little too short. Darn. Whatever, the book still looked really pretty. Like wow, that was an interesting book. And wasn't there light around it a second ago? Was that normal? Hogwarts was still a little confusing on their definition of "normal". But the light book seemed important somehow, and she nudged the kid holding it gently to try and get him to read what was going on.

"What does the page say? Sorry for sneaking up on you." The second part came as an afterthought, because Ophelia really wanted to know what this book was about. She had seen older students with it, and it had something to do with fairy tales or something. THEY all seemed to think it was cool. And not to be a follower, but the book WAS really cool. Or... interesting. Yeah, interesting. That was the word for it.

Kace decided to go to the fire place. What a classic picture to have since winter is going on? He would love a moving photo of a fireplace. He got his camera all ready and saw students were here. He went to the side and clear of people. He just wanted to get the fireplace. He got his finger hovered over the picture taking button and looked through the viewfinder and once he was happy with the view, he snapped it and took the photo.

He let it develop and then was gonna use the spell yet again. Once his photo ws done, he got his wand out of his robes and said the spell, "Alacer!" and then the picture was moving and it was like a fire was dancing on the picture. He was happy with the results! He hoped the teacher didn't think it was too cliche.

Fairysitting was quite fun already. More fun than Lux imagined it would ever be.

Smiling at the jar, she watched her two new friends fly around. They were so cool and rather cute, but she still needed a way to tell them apart and that was proving to be a little difficult. Maybe she was better off when she had only the one, but then her fairy would have been all alone and probably sad.

"Okay, you guys need to do something now that's memorable." That would help her out a looooooot since it could lead to some pretty cool nicknames.

Curiously she wondered what gender they were, because if one was a girl and one was a boy little fairy babies might happen.

You know what'd make a good picture? A fire. But not just any fire. A crackling fire with really pretty christmasy decorations around it. One that's all warm and cozy. Man, if only the moving pictures could make noise too. Then Fuller would really get it's essence..... Wait a minute? Did Zander just think that? No. What even.

......?

Ahem. It was just homework. Not a big deal. Right. Ahem. The Gryffindor walked closer to the fire with camera held to his face. Wait no, setting the camera down by his feet, he quickly shed off his jumper. There. It was way too hot in the place. Right, now for the photo. Ahem. Waiting for the moment when the flames grew the most animated he steadied his hold and then SNAP!

He waited rather impatiently for the photo and then once it came down, he took all his things and sat on the ground. Tapping it gently in the center with his wand, he cast a quick "Alacer!" and then watched as the fire came to life. That meant he only had..... ONE MORE TO GO!
