Colin Farrell reportedly cast as wizard in 'Fantastic Beasts an Where to Find Them'
Actor Colin Farrell, currently starring in the second season of True Detective on HBO, is the latest cast in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts an Where to Find Them, as a wizard named Graves whom Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) meets.
Farrell, for those interested, was featured in the brand-new trailer for his upcoming movie Solace, releasing in theaters this fall.
Please do take this with a grain of salt as the THR report still lists Ezra Miller (who denied being part of the series) as cast, while made no mention of Dan Fogler, who actually will portray Muggle Jacob in the series (confirmed by J.K. Rowling herself).
Fantastic Beasts an Where to Find Them, starring Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler and Faith Wood-Blagrove, and written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, hits theaters in November 2016.
I'm more than thrilled with this casting news. I know, for some reason, people are upset by this. As in all of the films you have to sit back, wait until the film comes out, and give him a chance. Personally I think it was a great choice.
