SnitchSeeker talks to cast, crew at Deathly Hallows: Part 2 NYC premiere
As reported, SnitchSeeker was on hand at the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 New York City premiere on Monday at Lincoln Center, and got to talk to the primary cast and filmmakers.
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and David Yates briefly discussed and compared the epilogue reshoots; Tom Felton and Steven Kloves commented on the various endings shot for the Malfoy family for the final film; Rupert Grint revealed the scenes he was least and most forward to seeing in Deathly Hallows: Part 2; and David Heyman revealed a great deal of information on his involvement as producer of the Harry Potter Leavesden Tours, set to open in Spring 2012. The clips can be seen below (again, as always, do forgive my voice); and our photos from the red carpet can be found in the galleries.
SnitchSeeker: Can you talk about the Leavesden Tour and how much you're participating as producer?
David Heyman: Well, quite a lot. I've been very involved in it because it's going to be all about the making of the films and the people who you never see, the people behind the camera. And I think it's going to give people a wonderful insight into the making of these films. We've been very involved, even down to the looking at the graphics and what props and everything, and the team that are doing it are doing a fantastic job.
SnitchSeeker: How does it compare to Harry Potter: The Exhibition?
Heyman: Bigger. More complete. The exhibition's fantastic, but this is going to be at the place where we actually made the films, and the big distinction is that you're going to have the Great Hall, you're going to have the Gryffindor Common Room, you're going to have many of the sets.
Aww I felt bad for Emma, it must've been so hard to hear anything with all the cheering.
Rupert...charming and sweet as ever! Tom and Dan seem really sweet too.
Did any other celebrities show up for this premiere? You usually see at least a couple.
It's kind of weird too because it almost seems that the US premiere doesn't seem to have the emotion and excitement behind it as London's did.
