As you make your way through the crowds gathered around it, you come to one of the messiest booths of the street fair. Spread on a large table with a woman/man sitting behind it, there are a number of supplies both muggle and magic at your disposal to recreate whichever magical item you choose. Directly in front of it are numerous smaller tables for you to get to work on. If you have a creative side, then perhaps the Make-Your-Own station is just for you. Just don't mind the mess, its all in good cheer. Or perhaps left-overs from the last glitter fight.
Have some fun decorating your very own magical item! Your limit is your own mind.
OOC: Have fun creating your own magical item, and interacting with the staff, Dianna Hudson-Middleton and Dionne Dischell (PotterHeadforLife and xXxPandora)!
It was lucky that Eliza and her mother had decided to come into London today. Picking up a few supplies was made all the sweeter by running into the festival a ways off down the road. Eliza'd had no idea it was here at all, but her mother gave her a knowing look with a slow spreading smile once she saw the fourteen year old's realization. She must've known about it this whole time! Eliza concluded. Her mom was always great with things like that. Planning little surprises and making everything fun. She was even more pleased when she saw there was a craft table at the festival. What could I make here? she wondered happily as she perused the tools and supplies on the table. When her mother mentioned she'd be back in a little bit, Eliza'd barely heard her. She was in art mode now and was engrossed in the blueprints of her mind, thinking and searching for something useful to create.

Dianna was definitely looking forward to a great day here in Diagon Alley. Her husband and son were left home, but it was all okay. Robert seemed to be fond of their son and had been spending a lot of quality time with Gale. With that, Di was here. She was hosting this 'make your own magical item' booth with another woman whom she has yet to meet. The former Ravenclaw was indeed very excited about this because it was something she loved. She spent her time at home making crafts and arts so this booth over here was quite similar. Has anyone been attracted to the booth yet?
Oh, there was one! Di smiled at the girl. That was the first customer for the day, which made the twenty-eight year old even more excited. "Hello there, darling," she greeted with a smile. "Feeling creative today?" Because Dianna was! She also didn't mind helping younger kids and other people, so this was definitely a place for her. She could definitely lend a hand with things. Time to put her creative hat on!

Minerva had stopped to talk as usual and was trying to catch up to Ethan has he headed towards the food. Strolling through the festival she glanced around at everything just enjoying the night. Seeing so many familiar faces it was starting to hit her how much of summer she had missed from being in the hospital and then just at Ethan's.
As she wondered down the street her blue eyes caught sight of someone familiar. Smiling she walked over to Eliza. Not saying anything just yet, because a lady was speaking and Min didn't want to interrupt. Making something.. Well that sounded kind of fun. The seventeen year old watched and listened, "I'll make something with her." She smiled at Eliza. "Hey you." reaching over and giving her friend a hug, she smiled even more so knowing she could do that now.
"How is your summer going? I haven't talked to you at all." The last time she had saw or spoke with Eliza she had been a mess at the feast. What an image for people to remember of her. She hoped that most forgot already. "So what are we making?"

Summer Festival in the DA??? Pretty awesome if you think about it. Jonathan hasn't been to that many festivals that was held in the Diagon Alley, this is probably the second he has been in.... or third. But not more than that. He just came back to London and he knows that in a couple more weeks, 2 weeks to be exact, he'll be back in Romania again and talk to his professors. Boring stuff, really.
Now, it's time for him to enjoy. Jonathan quickly changed after eating breakfast that Nobi had cooked for him. He rushed into the North side of the street and spotted the on going festival. A smile is found on his lips as he walked around. Familiarizing himself with the place. Not until, he stopped by a really messy area. He walked over to it and found a lot of colorful stuff both muggle and magical. He took the colorful marble in front of him and felt the texture of it. Then his eyes moved to the other materials he could find as he tossed the marble up and down with his hand.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

Make your own magical items?
Daichi Katharos raised his eyebrows as he read the sign and his brown eyes then looked at the messy shop. The fact that this place was a mess made Daichi comfortable immediately since he hated it when things were cleaned up.
Oh how much he had hated Hogwarts last term when he heard they had to clean for themselves...
Walking past a couple of students, the Slytherin grabbed a fwooper feather and turned it around in his fingers before placing it back down. Being alone at a festival was pretty boring so he looked around in the hope of finding someone who he knew.
He turned right and as he searched the area he found someone. A HUGE grin appeared on his lips when he spotted Jonathan and without thinking he dashed towards the older ex-Slytherin. "BIG BROTHEEEEEER~!" He shouted throughout the street and when he reached the young man he sprung in the air and tackled him.

WUT? It had been a while since he last seen him!
Jonathan began to walk towards the other materials and kept running his fingers into it. a habit he definitely got from one of his professors in school. You see this professor thought them to use their sense of touching when it comes to potion ingredients. You actually get to discover some thingsabout a certain ingredient just by touching it. Since then, this had became Jonathan's habit.
He was on his own since crowded places just makes him uncomfortable. Especially in this heat too. But out of nowhere, jonathan was surprised to a voice that he hasn't heard in a very long time. As his eyes managed to spot Daichi, Daichi suddenly tackled him. It was weird though seeing him tall and all grown up and still calling Jonathan big brother. No complains on that one but it can be a bit weird. Jonathan could no longer pat his head like he used to. Daichi was as tall as him and it really made Jonathan stare at him. He couldn't eveven push himself to say a decent greeting. Instead he said "you look...... different" good different but weird at the same time. "You've gotten biggerthan the last time i saw you" true.
"How are.you?" Yes, Jonathan totally wants to know this one.

And if you need assistance, don't be shy. I'd be glad to help." Was she a bit chatty today? Actually, Dianna would prefer the term "making things clear". That was partly her responsibility as a staff member of this booth.

Oh, and their booth has attracted two lads as well. They probably were students, or former students, from Hogwarts. Maybe Katrina knew them? "Hello there, boys," Dianna greeted the pair of them with a smile on her face. Now what brings two fine-looking lads here today, hmm? "Fancy making a little something?" Maybe for a family member... or for a mystery girl? Probably just for themselves. Dianna would love to help in any way she can, especially with surprises. Who didn't like surprises? And if she did interrupt their conversation, she was truly sorry.

Different?
Was that a good different or a bad different Mr.Kim?!
Daichi let go of the older male and as he straightened his clothes and pushing his glasses up again, he looked at Jonathan with a small smile. "I hope the difference is good..." he asked , a liiiiiittle bit shyly as he scratched the back of his neck.
OH! bigger? Daichi now chuckled. "I hear that a lot lately but you've changed as well since the last time i saw you!" No, really, he had! "You should have seen me wearing the Prefect badge! It was so awesome!" He poked his shoulder for not having been there to see his little brother getting the badge.
And he kind of lied of it being awesome because in all honesty, having a prefect badge was not awesome. It was tiring and people bullied him more because of that thing. Siiigh, how many times had he wished that Jonathan and Kurumi were still in school? BUUUUT he was free now~

Eh? Turning his head in the direction of the woman, Daichi gave her a smile. "Hello miss~!" He had forgotten they were at a festival for a second. His brown eyes looked at the items before he looked at Jonathan. "You want to make something? It should be fun!" and totally not girly...
Woa. A festival! Of course the first thing to catch her eye was the Make Your Own Magical Items Booth. So cool! Tora ran over to the booth nimbly dodging small crowds of people before landing at the table, eagerly eyeing the supplies spread out.
What to make, what to make? Well, what would be useful first off? Her hands hovered over one object then another before settling on a miniature Muggle mini-figure. It was of a girl with wings wearing what looked like something close to a school uniform. She flipped it over to see if there was a name on the base to tell her who it was... and yes. Lolita Canary- Super Young Team- DC Comics(TM)
Cool! She grinned. Now if she could just get started. She pulled out her wand and was about to point it at the figure's base to get it to come off when she remembered. "Billywig rot!" she muttered, using one of the lighter curses she picked up from Gram. Stupid underage magic laws. And now she was in a black mood too. Great.
Anyway if she couldn't do magic outside of school, then maybe one of the people sitting behind the table could do it for her. "Hey." she said to get their attention, but then she checked herself and her temper. It wasn't their fault after all. She continued in a nicer tone,"Can you help me enchant this please?" ...before I explode from frustration...

Jonathan laughed at his response. "Of course it's the good kind" Jonathan was just at awe though, with the minor changes such as the height, the hair and the aura. Those were not the Daichi that Jonathan used to tease. He grew up that's all. Everyone does that. Jonathan liked it too. He actually could never see Daichi growing up. He'll always be that 11 yr old kid he sat with on the train, who hated girls and loved his plushy.
you've changed as well since the last time i saw you!
Blink. Blink. Changed? Jonathan's eyes wandered as he could help but thought what kind of changes he made. "Really?" he said, confused. "Honestly I never thought I did. I mean, physically that is." he sort of stopped growing already, his blonde hair remained blonde for the course of 5 yrs already. Yeah, that long!
"Prefect must have been fun for you right?" he said returning the poke on his shoulder. It must be, most prefects enjoy the badges they have--- or at least that's what he usually sees.
Jonathan's head turned to the woman who was in-charge of the area. Smiling back at her, Jonathan nodded. For some reasons, he has no idea what he'll do. He's not really the crafty type of person. But trying won't hurt him... sooooo.
"I have no idea on what to make for now." he explained to the woman "My good friend here will teach me a thing or two about crafts" he chuckled as his hand went over to Daichi's shoulder. Patting him. Yeah Daichi, Jonathan will follow your lead on this one.
Oh, there was one! Di smiled at the girl. That was the first customer for the day, which made the twenty-eight year old even more excited. "Hello there, darling," she greeted with a smile. Time to put her creative hat on!
She picked up a small piece of wood and a bit of wire and turned them over in her hands. I wonder what could be made with this... she thought as she looked over the table again. Finally noticing there was another person nearby, she looked up. The young woman had a pretty dress on and seemed pretty nice, so Eliza smiled brightly at her greeting. "Hello there!" she replied. She glanced around at the items on the table again in response to the question and said, "I'm hoping so! I'm just not sure what to make really." She looked down at the supplies again until she noticed someone else there as well. It was
Minerva!

She turned and grinned at her friend as she approached the table, and nodded her head in agreement that they could make something together. "Heya!" she said happily as she received the hug gladly. It had been a long time since she'd spoken with Minerva so she was happy to see her friend, and in such a nice mood too! She smiled at the young woman at the table again who seemed to be feeling pretty cheerful as well. "Thank you ma'am! We'll let ya know if we do!" There were a lot of spells Eliza just didn't know, so she was sure they might ask a question or two once they got going.
She picked up a few more odds and ends from the table as she thought about her summer. "I know, I've missed you!" she said to Min with a little pouty face. "My summer's been pretty calm I guess. I've been dog sitting for the neighbors again, but other than that we've all just been relaxing at the house. It's nice to get some R&R you know?" She was grateful for the easy-going summer, after how strange the school year had been, it was nice to just sit at home and read in the sunshine. She chuckled at her next thought and said, "I think my parents must have missed me, because my mom keeps singing around the house and my dad keeps making me toast and sandwiches all the time. Like he can make up for the dreadful food from the school year or something," she said with another laugh. She found a particularly shiny fixture from inside a box of trinkets on the table and held it in her hands. "How's your summer been going?" She knew Min had probably spent a lot of it with Ethan, whom Eliza missed also. I really need to owl him about that visit, she thought as she sat the trinket back down.
She was sort of feeling an idea coming on, but she wasn't sure how to execute it. So in response to Min's question she said, "Well....I thought...what if we could use this," as she picked up what looked like a small wooden flute, "and this," as she picked up a kazoo. She shrugged at Minerva, a musical instrument in each hand. "Maybe we could attach them to some kind of mini stand? And charm them to play different songs?" It sounded like a cool idea to her, but she wasn't so sure how to do it. "Or we could do a color-changing spell on a brooch or something?" There were so many things available on the table, it was hard to know where to start really.

Di was watching the customers in her booth. So there were two (Minnie and Eliza) who were making something already. She'd come to them if they needed help. The rest looked like they were still thinking about it. Any more customers? Come on, there were still a lot more designs and materials in here. This doesn't happen every year, you know!

Nothing in mind? Well, that's too bad. Dianna would give them a few minutes to think about what they'd like to make. Something they were both interested in? Because Dianna could remember that she had little twigs somewhere here... to make a tiny version of the 'Locketbreaker' broom. Her son loved playing with the one Di had made.
Or maybe they wanted to create something to, you know, impress a pretty lady?
"Oh alright. I'll give you, two, time to think about it," Di smiled at them. "Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it!"

Hmm. Not as cheery as Dianna would have expected from a kid her age. But well, that didn't exactly matter right now. The girl wanted to make something! At least she was part of the design and creative kids, you know. Never really get to encounter much of them in this generation.
"Of course, I will help you, darling," Di said and smiled. "What would you like me to enchant? Would you like me to... animate it?" She hadn't exactly told her what to do, right? Maybe she wanted it the miniature figure to speak. Dianna was a Charms enthusiast, did they know?

Tora couldn't help but smile back a little bit when the woman behind the table agreed to help and smiled. The second year looked back down at the mini-figure in her hands. "Well my idea was to get rid of the base and then animate her so she could talk and fly about. Can I do that? Is it possible?" Tora asked. Even though she had grown up in a Wizarding home from age seven she still didn't know the full reaches of magic. And she suspected that noone really did which bugged Tora and threatened her lightening mood again. Better not think about that then. Back to Lolita Canary from the Super Young Team. "I was hoping for a companion to be by me and stuff." she said thinking a motive might be helpful in determining the spell. Tora's best friend had transferred to another Wizarding school over the summer. Not that Tora didn't expect to make new friends, but it would just be nice to have one that didn't leave.
Tora realized that she still had her wand out and stuffed it back in her pocket quickly before she could be tempted to do any more magic. She really shouldn't carry it about with her at all during the summer if she was so worried, but she just couldn't help it. Ever since she had bought the wand she had felt the need to have it with her always. She supposed that was pretty normal, but it had nearly gotten her in trouble a couple times off Hogwarts grounds. She could feel her mood getting dangerous again so she moved off thinking about that topic as well.
She looked up and smiled at the lady. Easiest way to improve your mood was with a smile. "So what do you think?"she said hopefully.

Di had always liked kids. She pretty much loved her very own son so much and is liked hanging around with others. It was fun to be with children even if she had experienced some problems with them before. Especially with kid arguments. But that didn't stop Di in any way at all. She just genuinely liked them.
So the little girl wanted to take the out and make the figure talk. Not a problem! Di had a lot of charms in mind. "We can try the Severing Charm on the base. Do you want help with that?" Didn't Hogwarts teach the Severing Charm at an early age? Somewhere around their second year, if the woman could remember. "I could also show you how to animate your figure and make it record your voice." Di smiled at the younger girl.
It was pretty obvious that Dianna loved Charms. It was her favourite subject.

Tora's smile grew larger when her idea was affirmed. Not to say that she didn't have a few questions for the lady, but she could always ask those later after she addressed the first problem. "Um, yes. I know the Severing Charm." Tora had learned it a couple months from the end of last year. "But the problem I have is that I am underage. Which means I can't so magic." Obviously the lady had to know that already. Tora didn't look that old right? "Oh and if I record her with my voice, will she only say the things I program her to say or will she say things that, er, she would want to say. Like the paintings in Hogwarts or something..."
