Default The Bronze Knocker

If you've reached the seventh floor corridor, then you have almost reached the Ravenclaw Common Room... assuming you know where it is.

At the top of a spiral staircase is a door without a doorknob or keyhole but a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. In order to enter the Ravenclaw common room, a person must answer a riddle asked by the eagle knocker; if they answer incorrectly, they must wait for someone else who gets it right. This might lead overconfident non-Ravenclaws to believe that they could break into the common room at any time, but then they would have over-exerted themselves climbing all the way up there only to be made to feel stupid by a simple door knocker.

If you're waiting on a friend, you can have a seat on the staircase leading up to the knob-less door and feel grateful that you don't have to walk all this way every day just to go to bed.

Default Divi HW 1 Post 1
A Poop * k8 *

Eden was ready to do Divination homework--they had to look for CATS and then like....yeah. Interpret their behaviors? The Ravenclaw thought it was the coolest thing ever. Even if it was a lot of guesswork...still pretty flippin' COOL. Aaaand she liked cats. She had a few cat treats in hand....but of course, she couldn't be giving them to the cats rigggght away.

Only when she was done with them. Yep.

She wondered how the elves like the cats roaming around..did they ever mess in the castle? Hmm. Cats were typically smart...maybe Morgan had placed litter boxes in random places. SHe hadn't SEEN any cat pee anywhere...or...poops.

Ugh.

As soon as she walked out of her Common Room, though, she almost STEPPED ON A CAT.

He was asleep. So Eden just plopped down next to him and waited for a natural reaction...so it wouldn't be...tainted. Her homework wouldn't be TAINTED if she waited. So she did...and after about five minutes, when she shifted position, the cat opened ooooone eye to look at her before streeeetching and yawning. Sleeepy kitty. "It's okay..you can still sleep if you want--" but the cat apparently didn't want to sleep. He was busy grooming his paws...licking and lapping at then. Ugh. He'd have ONE heck of a hairball later.

She flipped in her notebook a bit to see what..that could mean....

Oh.

This wasn't rock science. But somehow..the cat KNEW. Someone was UPSET with her. He had licked his paw like....five or six times...and...yeah. Eden sighed as she scribbled down all the actions of the cat and then...yeah.

Sigh.

Someone was upset with her >.< And she thought she knew who.

Helena Ravenclaw
Default For anyone?
Resident Ghost of Ravenclaw | Intelligent & Evasive

Helena was unsettled.

A feeling she hadn't been able to shake off after the meeting in Headmistress Truebridge's office. Something was going on unseen in the castle and she was sure of it given all the previous events and incidents during the year so far. Call it instinct if you will or gut feeling but it was that feeling that drove the Grey Lady to float into the corridor outside the Ravenclaw Common Room.

Floating up soundlessly to the Bronze Knocker the elegant lady ghost started to investigate around the knocker. Had it been affected by the small earthquake that had caused a passage to be revealed behind her mother's statue?
