Rain or shine, the Great Hall continues to be the hub of the school. Four long tables, one for each House as defined by the banners floating above them, are stationed in the enormous room facing the raised table reserved for the school staff. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. Mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages are at your fingertips.
Whether you arrived for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on time or late, feel free to dig in as the headmistress has no speech to give. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables while sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves. Just remember to display proper eating etiquette and don't get any funny ideas. Food is to be eaten, not thrown across the dining room. Wasting food will come at a price that you will not like to pay.
Breakfast time was a fun time for Beezley and she could be seen popping around the tables making sure all the studenties had their favorites for the day. Happy and bubbly the little elf vanished plates that were dirty and made sure she could see her reflection in the ones that were waiting for new students to come.

He felt like a zombie. His stomach was making loud odd noises. He looked pasty and ashen and he felt like death. Most of all, he was starving. Had someone stuck brains in front of him, Sammy probably would have attached them happily yelling ‘brains!’
So he was pretty happy with himself when he found his way into the Great Hall and plopped down at the Gryffindor table to eat breakfast. He was still rather upset that he had missed the feast with that stupid bloody nose that wouldn’t stop. And he was more upset that he hadn’t been able to find the hospital wing to get help for it.
There was a house elf nearby and he paused reaching for the pumpkin juice to watch her. He’d never seen one before and thought they looked pretty neat. ”Hello,” he said grabbing the pitcher to pour himself a cup of juice. ”You look happy. Having a good morning?”
"Oh yes Beezley is happy, Beezley is always happy when she gets to help all the masters and misses with their breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day and Beezley doesn't want any of her studenties to go hunger while in class, what kind of elf with Beezley be if she let that happen."
Beezley grabbed another plate to shine and make sure it was clean for the master to eat off of if he was hunger, 'Beezley will get you your favorite things"

The elf put a very shiny plate in front of him. He leaned over and looked at it, then looked back a the elf. Was she asking him what he wanted for breakfast? He wasn’t sure. Their talk was a little different. ”Um…bacon and eggs and toast?” he paused. ”Ah…please? Wait – what’s your name? ” He asked afraid she might pop off or scamper off before he could find out. ”I’m Sammy.” How cool would it be if the first real friend he made her was an elf? He dad would be jealous.

Beezley was very happy to hear his order and even squeaked as he said it, her ears bouncing as she looked longingly to start getting his food, but he stopped her as he asked a question. "Masterous Sammy is very friendly to Beezley, Beezley likes bringing students food. It makes Beezley very happy." Giving a big elf grin she snapped her fingers and soon the food was in front of him. "Beezley is me master and if Beezley can do anything for Master Sammy all he needs to do if find Beezley."

The smell of eggs and toast and bacon wafted up from somewhere and Sammy was surprised to turn and see the plate of food in front of him. ”Oh,” he said taking a sniff. ”You’re good. Reaallly good…” he picked up his fork. ”Thanks Beezley.” he picked up a forkful of eggs and sshoveled it into his mouth. After chewing he turned back to see if Beezley was still around the table. He was hoping to learn more about the elf.
Master said Beezley was good and this made Beezley very happy. Tugging at her ears joyfully she bounced, "Beezley get the master more food, Beezley want to please all the masters and misses." She grabbed another plate and made sure it was filled before putting it in front of him.

Sitting at the Slytherin table with hunched shoulders, Eiji merely picked at his breakfast - stabbing and unstabbing some of his scrambled eggs with mild disinterest. Ever since Valentine's Day the fourth year had become even more brooding and grumpy. A shock to those who already thought the aspiring alchemist was difficult to deal with.
He couldn't even bring himself to look over at the Ravenclaw table, the hole in his chest still very prominent and the frustration causing his knuckles to whiten as he gripped his fork. The Hufflepuff table earned a cursory glance because he was worried about Rebecca, his little first year sister, but he could barely fathom spending time with her at the moment given how angry he was at her for what she had done. But with two students missing now, one that he knew Rebecca had admired from afar and the other so close to her age, his stubborn streak was wavering.
But just not enough to change his mind today.
Sighing, he pulled a phial of Calming Drought from his pocket and downed it in one gulp. Maybe he could actually make an attempt at tucking into his breakfast now?

She had been exhausted from her head over thinking everything lately, not having her quidditch practices because of the stupid mist, the mist and what she saw, and now a missing friend. Chloe really didn't even feel like eating but knew she needed to so heading into the Great Hall she looked at her table and saw a few people but seeing someone at a different table she decided to go that way.
Making it to the Slytherin table she took a seat across from him and just looked at him, "You okay?" He didn't look okay but she always felt he was such a complicated boy even when she was just trying to be his friend. Then there was that issue a few terms ago, but that was in the past now even though that was her first hint that boys were nuts and confusing.
