hi, i'm ellen and i'm 13. This is my first drabble, so i hope you like it. Please enjoy!

aged 15, at home for the summer

edith looked at her pale hands and frowned. Then, she looked at the letter on her lap. It had been written with an antique typewriter, and the ink was running off.

Automatically she wiped her hands off her lap, only to watch in horror as the evil black ink smeared her duck egg blue dress. She bit her lip and quickly grabbed the nearest piece of material to her, which was of course, a curtain. She pulled it and began to rub her dress and with a bang! the curtain rail fell down and the heavy cloths fell all around her.

She groaned, as she felt her palms rub against the side of her dress. Damn.

"What's it supposed to be anyway? Cough Curer. It should be edible..." Tommy raised an eyebrow, looking at Edith.

"Yes it should be, but I'm not tasting it."

"Please? it won't kill you."

Edith shrugged."Fine." She took her ladel, and winced as the sour goo seeped through her pink lips.

She dropped it, on to the table, and next thing she could see her lips. Swollen lips. Literally, they were out as far as the end of her nose. Oh God. "Tommy!"She cried.

Tommy stifled a chuckle. "It can't be that bad, the cinnamon should drown the taste some bit."

Her olive eyes glared at him. "I'm allergic to cinnamon."
