Daniel Radcliffe on 'Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them' and Harry Potter's return
Daniel Radcliffe chatted with CBS's 'On The Couch' Wednesday morning, as part of his promotion for the upcoming production of The Cripple of Inishmaan on Broadway, beginning April 12. Dan was asked about the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them upcoming trilogy film series, and admitted that he would never close the door on being Harry Potter, but he might be too old for the role now. More of that can be viewed here.

Carolina Bermudez: They just announced that new Harry Potter spinoff films [Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them] are going to be happenings J.K. Rowling said that obviously she’s going to be involved. If she asked you, would you ever revisit a role?
Dan Radcliffe: I don’t know. I would obviously never close the door on something like that entirely because it would be foolish to, but I don’t know under what circumstances I could be convinced that it would be a good idea to do it again. Because I’m going to be 25 this year, and Harry’s a character that ended at the age of 17. I’m getting a little long in the tooth to be wearing a school boy’s outfit now. Yeah, I’m not sure.
Your favorite thing about living in New York is…
DR: Breakfast anytime of the day
Your favorite horror movie is…
DR: Straw Dogs.
Your current TV obsession is…
DR: I’ve just obviously started watching Cosmos like everyone else, there’s an English quiz show called Pointless which nobody over here will know and will mean nothing to anybody, but that.
The character you liked the most in Harry Potter (besides yours) is…
DR: Sirius Black
The most embarrassing song on your playlist is…
DR: Joe Dolce, he’s an English novelty singer who did a song called “Shaddap Your Face,” and that for some reason, I own that.
Dan attended the photo call and press day for The Cripple of Inishmaan alongside director Michael Grandage, and costars Gillian Hannah, Ingrid Craigie, Conor MacNeil, Padraic Delaney, Pat Shortt, Sarah Greene and Gary Lilburn at The Pershing Square Signature Center in New York City Wednesday morning. Photos of the cast and crew can be found here.
It would have been nice if one of the interviewers told Dan about Jo's comment in the Wonderland article about having the trio and her in heavy make-up as background characters for Fantastic Beasts to see if he'd be up for it.
