James stormed into the common room. IT WASN'T FAIR! He HAD to stop it. He sat down and tried to think.

Sho looked around the room and squinted from all the white. Where was Juno to blow up this junk when he needed him? The chairs were horribly tackey and not what he was used to at all. The rugs were okay, but the whole room was just... disgusting.

He was glad to be away from the girls, but he wasn't sure if he liked the cost of his common room. Running a hand through his hair, he sighed and gave one of the chairs a test. It squeaked both from the plastic and the leather.

"Screw that..." he murmured, going to the fireplace.

All marble. Someone was going to slip and fall on this thing. Hopefully they'd drag down the annoying picture of the minister when they did so.

"No girls, but horrible living conditions. Couldn't they have just made it look like the original common room? Is that too much to ask?! I object..." he said to no one in particular.

"Object?" James said, looking up. "Only object? Why not refuse..." he muttered to the boy, before finishing up his letter and sending it on foams foot.

Sho turned and saw a boy who had been finishing a letter. He turned back to the mantel and rested his hand on it.

"I'd refuse, but what would be the point? You think they'd listen to us?" he said, glaring at the picture.

"Although..." he said before shaking his head. "No... That won't do much."

"They won't listen to us. In fact, my plan is that they'll have no one to listen to." James said quietly. "No...not run away. We need to get both schools in one place. Then silently rebel behind their backs." he said, voice lowering with each word, but still able to understand.

Barry walked in "James finally the only boy Ravenclaw I know well"

Sho turned back around and looked at the boy. His expression of angst had changed to a smirk. It was idea time.

"I have an idea," he said to the boy. "You'll know what it is later. I have a Hufflepuff to go find."

With that, he exited the room and walked down the hall. Sho was going to lose major house points again, but so was everyone else. Time for a little peaceful non-compliance.

James nodded at Barry. "I just sent a letter to Monica." He said. "Do you know where this so called 'tunnel' thing is?" he asked.

James raised his eyebrows. "Who's the Hufflepuff?" he called after the boy.

James entered the Common Room. It'd taken him forever to find it.
Adjusting to the light with several blinks he looked at the room.
He saw the rules posted, "It's as if they don't trust us or something." he thought sarcasticly.
This thought was reinforced when he saw the plastic covering all the furniture.
It was then that he saw another guy in the room standing off to the side.
"Oh," he said, surprised, "Hey. Some place, huh?" he asked gesturing. "I'm James. James Skyle."

James read the letter carefully before deciding that he NEEDED to do something. Quick. Monica needed him, and he needed Monica. It was all a big circle that was...broken. And they needed to fix it. The students. Of Hogwarts. He starred at the wall, wondering which Hufflepuff Sho was talking about. But then, yet another letter came.

James had remembered Josh from last year at the hut, when he had been trying to fix the problems of the animals. Too bad he wasn't one. That way Monica and him would have yet another way to be in common. But that was over now. And revolution, had begun. He wrote a letter responding to both of them.

Yes, things are horrible here too. Actually, anywhere. You're not bony! You're fine the way you are. Wait...that means you could be bony. So...what ever you are, you are. Anyway, I'll try to get hold of Josh, I kind of remember him from last year. I haven't been outside yet, so I don't know anything about a black lake. I miss you so much, and now I really must go.

He finished up the letter and tied it to Foams feet. "Good luck..." he said, as she flew out the window of the horrible common room.

James held out his hand. "I'm James as well. James Lupet." He said. "I don't remember you, are you new?" he asked.

James shook his hand, surprised to hear his name was James. Then heard his other question, "No, I just havn't been very social in previous years." He laughed.


"Erm...If you don't mind, I'm just gonna put this up," he said, gesturing to his trunk. "Nice meeting you." He wheeled his trunk over to the dormitory entrance.

OOC: I know...but it never hurts to ask, does it?

James nodded. "I liked it better last year..." he said, muttering to both himself and the boy.

Nigel walked into the Common room utterly bambouzled. He hadn't been told that this is what Hogwarts was like! He wanted to know what was going on in the school. He noticed a boy in the corner and went over to talk to him.
"What is up with the school?" he said rather more bluntly than he had intended to. "I'm Nigel by the way. Nigel Forbulus."

This wasn't at all like what David had been told. His mother told him it was a co-ed school, but now he was at a boy's only school? Well, it had been a long time since his mother went to school, and David occasionally thought she was a few cups short of a tea set.

He slowly moved to sit down in one of the plastic covered seats. The plastic underneath him made strange sounds everytime he moved. The brightness of the white everything was also starting to get to him but then he remembered the sunglasses he'd put in his robes. He had thought he'd wear them to make him seem cooler than he was around the girls, but since there were no girls the sunglasses would have to become more practical and block the brightness of the room.

David then saw the portait above the white mantel. Just looking at it made his skin crawl, something about the man bothered David, or maybe it was the dogs. Ever since his uncles dog bit him David had been a little afraid of dogs.

Eddy walked to the center of the room, eyes wide and head twisting every which way at once in an attempt to get it all in. "Plastic? Rules? No Touching?"

Dropping his muddy bag on the reproduction rug, he exclaimed. "Holy Moly! It's just like living at Grandma's!"

The plastic-covered chairs especially scored a sour look. Eddy hated those - they squeaked when you sat on them. Walking up to one, Eddy kicked it with his muddy shoe, dislodging dirt blobs that splattered on thel lower portion o the plastic and nearby flooring.

"Hey - don't do that." Cale said walking in behind Eddy. He leaned in and whispered. "You never know who could be watching." He walked past him carrying his beloved plant who was busy honking it's head off. "You know, at Hogwarts, we had the coolest common room - all blue and copper and comfy chairs and a big book shelf full of useful books. " He sighed, then turned around and gave Eddy a big reassuring smile. "Common, let's go get some beds - next to each other so Buddy can keep an eye on Robin here while we're in classes."

Eddy sighed and followed Cale. It was true - grown-ups didn't seem to have anything better to do than ensure boys had no fun and never relaxed. Must be awfully boring and bitter to be an adult, Eddy thought.

Excepting, of course, for Willie Walker. He'd never been boring or bitter. His life was full of colorful escapades. Eddy hoped that he could emulate this wonder of wizardry, in spite of the current surroundings.

"You know," Eddy said to Cale's retreating back, "its just like issue 34, No. 15 in Tales of Trapped when Willie stumbled on this German castle where everyone seemed just a mite too perfect and it turned out they were all under one of them unforgiveable curses."

Weird. This Common Room wasn't like the one Samson had gotten used to these past 2 years. Eh, but what did he expect? Hogwarts had undergone a major change. It wasn't even Hogwarts anymore! He looked around with squinted eyes, in pursuit of one of the comfiest chairs around, when he realized that there weren't any of those any longer. He stopped and he could feel his facial expression drain completely. Crap. Where were the squashy chairs and the foot stools and the table with the weird-looking table runner? And why was everything so WHITE?! Merlin's pants, the Minister really must've been color blind. And white was blinding, too! Hmph.

Settling for a plastic-covered arm chair, Samson was just about to lift his feet up when he noticed the Feet Off sign. Great. Just great. What were they allowed to do? "What've they doooone?" he wailed at the nearest person/s who could hear. Seriously. As much as he loved the female-lessness, and the unpresidented access to the other Common Rooms (Gavin would have to watch his back), he didn't like the other innovations very much. Plainly, they sucked.

And the plastic was killing his bum.

"Yes James I know where it is" said Barry

James nodded. "Whats up?" he said to the boy. "The Ministry has taken over. Hogwarts has...disappeared. None of us know where it is." He said seriously. "Segregation has taken over and well...we need to do something about it firstie" he said to him. Then he held out his hand. "James Lupet. Nice to meet you Nigel. Hope to teach you things you won't learn from the false teachers"

James looked over at the other firstie. He knew what he was thinking. "It is a co-ed school. This isn't Hogwarts" He told him. "In Hogwarts the Ravenclaw common room was the best ever. All dressed in Blue and Bronze and comfy chairs...and a nice fire, too" he said to him. Then he indicated to that boy and Nigel. "I'm trying to round some people up to revolutionize. You can come if you want." he said, walking to Barry for a moment.

"Barry, why don't you come with me and after I round some people up, you can show me" James said, being a little to generous to the boy who had been the worst annoying kid in school last year. But now the kid knew what it was like to lose somebody. Now he indicated all three of them. "Come on" he said, walking to the door of the dormitory.

"Ok" said Barry he couldn`t beleive they got along so well because of a death eater

James came downstairs to the Common Room. He sat down in one of the couches and almost fell out of it because the plastic covering it was so slick. He cursed to himself.

Putting his shoes on, he saw two younger Ravenclaws talking amongst themselves. With a glance at the large Hourglass on the mantle and glimpses of Cooper's portrait and Ravenclaw's bust, he exited through the double doors and went out into the 3rd Floor Corridor.

"I wonder how Rhiannon is doing at the girls' school. Let alone Josh. I haven't seen him since the carriage." he thought.

Ryan walked into the common room, which took him a while to find, mind you. Darn that Minister for moving things around. The first thing he noticed was that it looked like a trip to grandma's house. Plastic covers.....wow.

Why does everyone think we're all nerdy? Ryan thought. We may be smart, but we're not neurotic. He was starting to get sick of this, frankly. He didn't mind the absence of the girls, but he was really bothered by all of the changes at this new school...especially the ridiculous rules.

He just needed to sit down and think.

Ryan paced the room...looking for a place to sit, which apparently, there were none of. So, in particular Ryan fashion, he plopped right down on the ground, crossed his legs, closed his eyes, and started rubbing his temples. This was starting to give him a headache.

....and he hadn't even begun to REALLY think about quidditch, and how in the world he was supposed to field a team with all these restrictions.

James entered the double doors to the Common Room again. As always he was greeted by the framed set of rules and the uncomfortable white walls of the space. It was then that he saw anther Ravenclaw sitting in the room.

"Oh. Hey. I didn't see you. I'm James. James Skyle." he said, extending his hand. He knew he'd seen this guy somewhere before. "Oh, you're Quidditch Captain aren't you?" he finished with a glance and a frown at the Hourglass on the mantle as more sapphires were taken away.
"Darn those rules." he thought.
