| | |  David Heyman to receive CineEurope convention Producer Of The Decade Prize
Harry Potter producer David Heyman will receive the Producer Of The Decade Prize at this year's CineEurope film convention, taking place from June 27-30, 2011 in the Netherlands. Heyman will get the honour at a luncheon on Thursday, June 30th, the final day of the official convention of the International Union of Cinemas. 
In addition to Heyman's honour, the very first screening for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will take place at CineEurope on June 30th, the first-ever showing of the final cut of the last installment - one week before the world premiere in London on July 7, 2011. Those who have registered for CineEurope already will have the chance to attend the screening. More information about that can be found here.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will be released in theatres and IMAX 3D in July. | |

I'll give him points for Potters 1, 2, 4 & 7 (so far) and The Boy In the Striped Pyjamas, but take away mega points for the rest of the Potter films, the highest amount being deducted for HBP & OOTP. I'd rather see Bernd Eichinger get the award, his body of work has been more substantial, consistent, and beautiful.
