Everyone was enjoying the summer term. It was great! Some people were on vacation, and others were spending good quality time with their family. But everyone knew that they wanted nothing more than to go back to Hogwarts.
However a few weeks before the beginning of the new term, all of the students that attended Hogwarts recieved a letter that Hogwarts would not be letting students return this year. Nobody knew the reasoning behind this, but all of the students were devestated.
All except of a few select few. These few students never recieved that letter. There for they all returned to Hogwarts just like they would have with before. Nobody even had a clue that the rest of the school wouldn't be coming back.
There are no professors or anything, just these few students. They are the only ones. Who sent them there and why. Was this just a mistake and they didn't recieve their letter or was this intentional.

He plays around a lot, but this is often at the expense of others, especially Gryffindors.
During his fifth year he was chosen to be a Prefect, shockingly. Most everyone outside of his own house hated this, because he didn't make life easy on them. Its easy to say that Jack think he's all that and a bag of chips. But does he have a softer side to him? We will just have to find out.

Meredith is what you would think of as an artsy girl. She was born into a house with five children, three of which were boys. As a child she found an escape in reading books. As she has gotten older she has gotten a passion for writing. She hopes that as she is older she will be able to write for the Daily Prophet or even start her own paper that will be even bigger than the Prophet ever dreamed of.
It would make sense that when she entered Hogwarts she was placed into Ravenclaw house. That was the house that she had hoped for all of her life. It was the house that her mother had been in long ago. None of her older siblings had lived up to her mother's legacy and she was determined to break the chain of Hufflepuffs. Meredith gets along with most people, with the exceptions of just about everyone in the Slytherin house. Its not that she is rude to them or anything, they just don't really like her. She was very thrilled when she was told at the end of her fourth year that she would be coming back as a Prefect. She can not wait to get to Hogwarts this year and really be one of the ones that the first years look up to.

Another year, another chapter...
Luke was born as the first in a muggle family. When he was younger, he assumed Magic was done with cards, and bunnies. He was always fasinated with it, but never liked how it was presented. When he arrived at Hogwarts, he figured out why he loved magic so much. He loved it because he was a wizard. But during his first and second year, he found out how boring his studies were. They were boring, and long, and doing them seemed like a waste of time. Instead, he became the typical 'class clown', and let his grades slip to average. Many of the teachers disliked his interuptions, and he spent most of his free time in detention. But the students loved him, and he rarely found someone who disliked him.
But no matter how hillarious he was, he was never able to hold down a girlfriend. Most of the girls were upset because he spent all of his time in detention, and not with them. Those that didn't mind, were usually the girls who were too busy with school work to notice him anyways. But Luke is loyal, and wouldn't turn his back on anyone.

Indi is a young, kind hearted, courageous young lady with a heart for all things pink and loveable. She is someone who is easy to get along with when she is in the best possible mood. {History}
Indiana was born in Scarborough, United Kingdom alongside twin sister Jade. When the twins were three, their parents moved the family to a new home in West London where they would be closer to their extended family and where their father could continue in his desired line of work.
From a very young age, Indi has known that she is from a muggle and magical background. Her parents have always been completely honest with her about her heritage. Her father being a muggle has always wanted both Indiana and Jade to grow up in the muggle worlds whereas their mother has contrasting views.
Ever since she can remember, Indi has had a close relationship with Jade but often found herself in the firing line of her parents heated arguments regarding the girls' future.
At the age of nine, Indi first came to terms with the idea of having magical powers but never had to the opportunity to come to grips with what she could do with it. At first, her father was against her using magic in the muggle world for the fear of people thinking that the family was full of 'freaks'. However, when Indi reached ten and received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her father began to warm to the idea of sending his daughter off to a boarding school where she could learn how to use magic efficiently without causing harm to herself or others around her.
When Indi first found out she was a witch, she felt as though she was left out because Jade was born a muggle. It wasn't until her mother began explaining what this meant to her that she began to feel less left out and got more into the idea of using magic for the good. Ever since she can remember, Indi has wanted to use magic to do good in the world and become a healer. But she still has a long way to go before she can ever even begin to consider pursuing her dreams.

Lily Heath, a halfblood witch, was born and raised in west Wales in Britain. She and her two brothers were raised in relative comfort, and all attended Hogwarts. Lily went on to wizarding university and became a magical translator for the Ministry of Magic, translating languages from Ancient Runes to Korean to Mermish. It was while she was working in London that Lily met Nile Delta, a French Muggle translator for a Japanese diplomat who was in England on official business. Nile never returned to Japan with the diplomat, instead staying in London with Lily until they married.

Isabelle was the second born of five children to Lily and Nile. She was brought up in London, close to both the Muggle government offices where her father worked and the Ministry of Magic where her mother worked. The family always travelled to France once a year to see Nile's family, and Izzy surprised and delighted her paternal grandparents by talking to them in French at 3 years old.

Isabelle went to Hogwarts at 11, and almost instantly made friends with Tyler Bennett, a Ravenclaw boy in her year. Tyler and Izzy often played pranks together and were widely known as the eccentric pair of Ravenclaw. In their fifth year they started dating, and became known as one of the happiest couples in the school. As they were coming home on the Hogwarts Express from their sixth year, however, Tyler broke up with Isabelle for reasons unclear to her. Izzy was left feeling confused and abandoned by the boy who had been her best friend.

Isabelle is smart, smarter than is good for her some would say. She reminds you of a bird - always flitting around, chirping her heart out. Renée Lec was a young college student partially lost in London when she went to a pub with her two best friends on a girls' night out. Let's just say she never saw the guy she left with ever again after that night, and claimed to have forgotten his name. Dustin was born a few months after Renée graduated. For most of his life, Renée swore her two best friends to secrecy and told everyone her boyfriend had walked out on her when he'd found out she was pregnant. She only told Dusty the truth when she caught him trying to trace his birth father.
When Dusty was nine, his mother married work colleague and widower Joshua Lec. Joshua's wife Lisa had died of cancer five years previously, leaving Joshua with their son Jacob and twin daughters Jasmine and Holly. Jacob was 3 at the time, and the twins 2 years younger. Jacob is a year younger than Dusty, and the two got on surprisingly well. The twins were slightly harder to convince, never having had a mother figure in their lives before, but soon the Lecs and Dusty settled into a comfortable family lifestyle.
Some time before his 11th birthday, Dusty got angry at a school bully who was teasing the twins about their Pippi Longstocking-like looks (bright red hair, freckles and sharp pixie-like features). He doesn't know how he did it, but one moment the bully was laughing at the twins, and the next he was on the roof, clinging to a chimney pot. Everyone was amazed at how the bully had gotten up onto the roof, but thankfully nobody thought to blame Dusty. On his 11th birthday, Dusty received his Hogwarts acceptance letter, and within a few months was on the Hogwarts Express.
Dusty is excitable and quite hot-headed at times. While he wouldn't hurt a fly, he can be slightly intimidating when angered. In fact, he is very caring towards all creatures, making his favourite class no surprise. He will stand up for his friends in a heartbeat but often without thinking of the consequences.

About: The only person that ever calls Chip by his given name is his mother and professors he meets for the first time. Placed in Ravenclaw, Robert is not one to draw attention to himself and has managed to spend his last six years with little or no drama in his life, except perhaps a few first date disasters. He is the classic under achiever with very little motivation to do anything with his studies or his life, and the teachers are fed up with his constant wasting of his brilliant mind. However this year Robert has planned to make a name for himself before leaving, he is determined to be more than another nameless faceless student to pass through Hogwarts.
