As you enter, you notice that the center of the shop has been temporarily redecorated to hold its grand re-opening event. Couches and loveseats have been added around the store, as well as small, round tables filled with refreshments and snacks for the guests. The counter still sits at the heart of the shop, but several small gift bags, containing a number of products samples, have been added to it. All guests are invited to take one gift bag of beauty goodies to try out the new products. There are three different types of bags, a pink, a purple, and a white one, and all contain assorted products. The pink one contains: Bronze Me Golden, Not-so-sleeping beauty, Lash Blast Potion, Rapunzel Rapunzel, Flavour Changing Lip gloss by Ellsberry; The purple one contains: Humidity Immunity Potion, Perfect Vision Potion, Sunburn Unburn, Isphere Spectrum, Skin-Brightening Foundation Potion by Ellsberry; And finally the white one contains: Porcelain Perfect potion, Pimple Poofer, Heat Protection Potion, Hair colour changing potion, Gallerina Nail polish by Ellsberry. Feel free to look over them and choose whichever one you want!
At the center of the counter there is a large cauldron filled with beauty potions, enough of them to last for a whole year. If you're interested in it, ask the shopkeeper or her assistant about a raffle ticket. You might just be the lucky one to win enough potions to turn an entire hag colony into veelas. The aisles with all of the products are still easily accessible on the sides for people to browse through them, which they are encouraged to do. In the very back of the shop, against the magical beauty emergencies room, a podium has been added with two small displays, one on each side of the podium, with the name Ellsberry on it, containing several different products and small samples. For now, everyone is encouraged to come in, mingle, ask questions, and look around. The shopkeeper is standing by the front door awaiting her special guests...
OOC: List of special guests: Ellsworth Bott Toussaint (Cassirin), Celandine Kettleburn (Tegz), Neptune Bott (Mad Eye Touz), Evolette McKenna Ellerby (Colley ♥), Indigo Bunbury (BanaBatGirl), Hecate Lafay (Droo), Alexander Greingoth (Anna Banana), and Aliceara Jessamyn Ravenswood (SilverTiger). Please do not RP any of the special guests or the shopkeepers.

It was the first time she'd been back on this side of the Atlantic since graduating, and already that time only seemed moments ago. And while she knew it was time for school shopping, having her own to do still, it didn't FEEL like it to the graduated prefect. Not now that she wasn't returning to Hogwarts. She supposed the feeling would pass once there weren't eager kids running around to remind her of this.
Miss Lovegoods wasn't here for any school shopping just yet though, she was in Diagon because of this grand reopening that she'd heard about in the prophet. And to see some familiar faces. Stepping into the shop, she allowed her bright eyes to wander and take note of the drastic changes while moving further towards the lounge area.

Well, wasn't this exciting?! Madame Primpernelle's was finally open again. And Ellie thought it was perfect timing too, considering she was getting married the very next day. Now she could visit the store, buy some things, and look absolutely perfect for her wedding day.
Also, it would be fun to attend the grand reopening celebration thingy. She heard there would be raffles and things too, so maybe she'd get lucky!
Stepping into the store, Ellie headed toward the lounge and saw Arya, a former classmate. They had graduated in the same year, but Ellie never really spoke to the girl. Huh. Oh well? Ellie's eyes glanced around the room, taking in all the changed. It was very... pink.

There is a grand reopening of a BEAUTY store in Diagon Alley?
Caroline Schermerhorn-Astor was usually informed of such important events via RSVP, always with her impressive name scrolled elegantly across the all-important, hard-to-get invite. But she has received no such missive, and had only seen the advertising when she was checking on her own paparazzi coverage came across the Daily Prophet at the newsstands.
She took her sweeeet time looking for the shop, being used to people waiting for her to grace them with her loveliness. Finally, she spotted the dazzling entrance and, after the customary flipping of her hair and throwing her shoulders back, sauntered confidently through the threshold....
... only to see two young girls.
Yes they were young-- children really-- compared to her. But dont ever tell her that. Or remind her of the fact that she is now a grandmother.
Sparkling blue eyes surveyed the brightly colored shop, her immaculate smile only slightly lessened. Has she missed the party? She was confident that she has perfected the art of being fashionably late and no party ever started without her. Finally, her eyes returned to the two young girls. Were they the sales people? Merlin she could swear they seem to be getting younger every year. She neared the two girls and, once again flashed that gorgeous smile "Hello! Are you the....beauty consultants?"That sounded uplifting enough for such humble positions isnt it?
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes
Demetria walked inside the shop and was more than glad that it was reopening. She missed the beauty potions that had been available to her from Madame Primpernelles. She walked in and looked around at all the changes made and then slowly stepped into the lounge area. Other people had already arrived but she didn't know them so she kept to herself. At least she wouldn't have to worry about her not so fabulous complexion anymore after this, was the only thought she could come up with.

Hecate was not sure why she was here... these potions weren't really the type she sold.
She was hoping she wasn't invited because she was now the wife of the Minister of Magic. That would really make her angry. She was Hecate Lafay... she insisted she'd be her own person, and not someone's wife...
Maybe the shopkeeper was a secret fan of her work? She did have a rejuvenating potion... but that was... not exactly... legal... nor was it widely known she trafficked in black market potions.
Sarca Sning stepped into the beauty store. It had FINALLY re-opened. Nah, he did not give half a hair about beauty products, but it was interesting when a store closed for months and offered a lame excuse as to why. An excuse no one would believe who had a brain.
He smiled slyly to himself and combed his black bangs out of his forehead. Well, this wasn't so bad for a beuaty shop. Now...where was the shopkeeper? Sning had a few questions for him.

"Captain?" She called.
Hands stuffed into his pockets, Alexander Greingoth stood just outside the door to the shop and scanned the crowd combing the streets. So he was here today from the grand opening of a new establishment. ...and, what was this establishment again? Running a hand through his thick hair, he gave a quick glance upward to peer at the sign.
Madame Primpernelles Beautifying Potions, it read. Beautifying potions? His eyebrows creased inward a little as he wondered what sort of business he had at a place that sold beautifying potions. Hearing his wife's voice, he turned back toward the entrance. He could, maybe, meet a new acquaintance or two today. He was always looking for somebody else to do business with.
Stepping into the shop, he fell into place at his wife's side. "A beautifying potions store," he said, glancing around the lounge. "Hmm..." He attempted eye contact at a face across the room and nodded a polite greeting. With a smirk, as he just couldn't help it, he tilted his head sideways toward his wife and whispered, "You going to start brewing beauty products or something, Potions Mistress?"
Anyone & a little nod to the Minister and his wife.
Oh how exciting!
Inez had made an effort to take a trip down to Diagon Alley this afternoon during her lunch break because she had seen in last month's Witch Weekly issue and just couldn't miss this. It was like the sale of the century!
The department head smiled brightly as the shop came into view and excitedly scurried through the doors with a polite nod to the shopkeeper. The woman made plans to stop by agian and speak to her but she wanted to explore the products first.
Ah the Minister and his wife were here. The woman smiled and waved smally across the room at the two, hoping for at least a nod.

She raised an eyebrow and started at him.
"Are you saying I need beautifying potions, Captain?" She said giving him a stare. "You are walking a very thin line today... I'm not in the best of moods." She was beginning to regret agreeing to this invite.
She eyed the woman who waved to them... who was she?

Alexander playfully laughed at her raised eyebrow expression. For some reason, her quick temper had always been one of the main reasons he was attracted to her, and even now he found himself passing her a wink. "Really, Hecate?" he asked. "I'm in love with you, and you wonder if I'm suggest you use beauty potions?" He grinned at her and shook his head. "Of course I'm not suggesting you use," and then he gestured toward the products, "any of this."
"It was a joke, Hecate. I figured you wouldn't brew anything of the sort," he said with a grin. Even though she could and would likely outsell anything in the establishment. He gave a polite wave to a woman across the room. "Inez Grey, Armen Recard's replacement in Magical Transportation," he said. He could almost read her mind and follow her line of thinking about the woman. "...and what's put you in such a mood?" She'd said she wasn't in the best of moods, after all.
Riley had woken up early for the Grand Re-Opening of Madame Primpernelle's it was THAT important he be there.
It was a shop, not just for girls he reminded people, that deserved all of his attention for the day and that was because of the people who had been listed as special guests he wished he was one of them. Yeah, yeah, the Minister was going to be there and his wife, the Dragon Lady of a Potions Professor he had had at Hogwarts but they were obviously just the side acts for the main event--Evolette McKenna Ellerby.
The young model entered the shop and saw that she wasn't there yet. Good, no one had beaten him to meeting her yet.

Hmmm...
"I'm not in the mood to joke around, Alexander." She told him, using his first name. And that meant she really wasn't in the mood. "I just have a lot on my mind..." She said and gave a smile to the woman who had taken Armen's place... Armen was a gopher... a little insignificant puppet. But she knew him... and he tended to do everything she asked of him...
... plus. She didn't like this pretty woman working so close with her husband.

Naturally, a large social event such as this was NOT to be missed by Gabriela Schultz. Strutting around with her new blonde hair, this was the perfect venue to show off her new 'do. She expected every head to turn in her direction when she entered the room!
Unfortunately, the shopkeeper did NOT know the definition of a "special guest" apparently and had failed to give Gabi one of those coveted special invites. SIGH. Didn't they know that she was ALMOST the department head of Level 3? Surely being in charge for a few weeks before the new DH showed up counted as "special". Oh well. She'd just ignore the woman for a while as payback for such a serious oversight.
In the meantime, she browsed around the store, admiring all the products while she waited for anyone she knew to show up.

Ah swell!! Madame Primpernelle's has reopened! Bout time,Chiara said to herself as she smoothed her skirt and walked inside. How nice it was to be back! She clicked around on her heels, observing the changes and whatnot. Not much different. That, certainly, was a good thing. With that being said, Chiara made her way over to the lounge area, feeling in the mood for some, erm, socialization. Not her favorite thing to do but, there's always room for improvement. The young Primpernelles enthusiast scanned the area, looking for someone to "practice her skills on". That shouldn't be the slightest bit complicated.. Just like that, she "ran into" a girl that looked around her age!"Why hello there! I am Chiara," she said with a smile as she extended her hand. Hopefully this wouldn't falter...

Once he finally got into Primpernelle's, Indigo took a breath of relief and checked his cameras once again. Then he went to the back door of the place, took a glance around, and sneakily propped it open just a smidgen with a rock he'd found. His boss should be coming annnnnny minute now, and he didn't want her to think that he wasn't doing his job or anything.
His work done thus far, the blonde designer staked out a corner of the shop and started snapping a few shots to check the lighting and such. Merlin. The crowd outside was far worse than the one within.
And anyway, Indy wanted to stay busy enough that his mind was not on what had just happened in the street.

Arya turned her eyes to the woman addressing her, grin stretching across her face and she had to pause before speaking to keep back laughter. Her a beauty consultant? Yeah. That was laughable. "No, ma'am." She shook her head. "I think they'll be... noticeable. Matching t-shirts or something like that." It would amuse Arya if they were all matching at least. "I can help you scout them out if you like." Cause she was scouting them out TOO. Heh.

Oh they were waving back? Surely a sign she should go over and socialize.
Walking across the crowded shop was certainly easier than the street outside but still a task in her heels. After a minute of manuvering around displays and giggling girls here and there, the Inez finally arrive infront of Alexander and his...wife. She taught at Hogwarts right?
"How nice to see you guys here. I saw it in a magazine the other day and decided I just had to be here, this shop is such a life saver, isn't it?" she said with a chukle to the Minister's wife. Women-to-women chitchat was always nice.
"Minister Greingoth you look spiffy today, ready for the Prophet photo-opts I assume?" she said with another grin to the man, her boss.

Evolette McKenna was glad for her body guard who had seen her safely through the crazy crowd and into the shop. She was well aware that she hardly needed a body guard in Diagon Alley, but it had been a thing to Henry and he'd picked the man himself. Evolette had decided that he was going to stay outside, though. She didn't want him getting in the way of her and her fans.
She surveyed the room, taking in the people who had managed to make their way inside. Even the Minister of Magic was there. Huh. Evolette normally wouldn't be able to care less about the Minister of Magic, she didn't live in Britain, he was of no consequence to her. But, it just so happened that the man was the father of her close friend. She'd known him long before he'd become Minister.
She smiled at the man and gave a little wave as she seemed to catch his eye for a moment. She'd have to go say hello later, of course.
"Indigo." She spoke, stopping beside the man, "How is everything?" He looked... distracted.

Ellsworth Bott Toussaint would, under normal circumstances, prefer to be early to any event promoting her business. It wasn't just that she wanted to check and double-check the displays and make pointed suggestions about product placement to whoever would listen, but also that she knew how important it was to put a public and accessible face on Ellsberry now that they were finally getting placement in a shop right here on Diagon Alley.
Still... best laid plans. With her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, plus two small children, in tow, they showed up whenever schedules dictated. Even if that meant that several of the special guests had arrived already.
Ellsworth touched bottles and phials as she entered the store, although she waved at several people waiting near the door, including Evolette and the Minister's Wife. "Look! Would it be terribly cliched to stand under the banner?"
"Terribly," Copernicus Kettleburn agreed dryly, although he didn't see that there was anywhere more logical for Ellsworth to stand. Why... exactly had they come with her?
He shifted the double stroller carefully through the aisle. It was nice to get the babies out whenever possible, especially for such a special day for Ellsworth and Celandine, but this was a precarious sort of place for little fists and feet. Charlotte watched everything with bright eyes, and he was just SURE that as soon as he parked, she'd find a way to turn herself purple.

The store seemed to be filling up quick. And... Merlin's beard. The Minister was here! This was the closest Ellie had ever been to the man. He was kind of intimidating. Especially with Professor Lafay right next to him...
But Ellie's attention was turned elsewhere when she heard a girl speak to her. Ellie smiled back at the girl, even though she was rather disappointed that the girl had to ask. They graduated at the same time, not three months ago. "Yeah, I did. Arya, right?"

Ellie had stopped to observe the hair products. These would be good for her wedding tomorrow. Especially the heat one, since it would be in Florida. OH, this was perfect. She would have to remember to purchase that.
Her train of thought was interrupted by a lovely blonde woman with a nice smile. She was quite cheerful, too. Ellie raised her eyebrows... and then furrowed one down in confusion. Beauty consultants? Ellie glanced at Arya before looking back at the woman.
"Err, no. Just... here for the reopening. And some shopping." For her WEDDING. She couldn't stop thinking about it! Naturally.

OHHHHHH!!!!
She was here. Riley, who was usually seen acting aloof and brooding, was practically jumping where he stood at the sight of Evolette entering the shop. He hadn't been this excited in a very long time and he certainly was going to remember this day forever. He had to fix his hair, his hair needed to be perfect.
After Riley had looked in one of the many make-up mirrors posted around the place he looked back eagerly to where the supermodel stood, but she didn't seem ready to greet fans yet. Well this was just torture but she was very important and all so he would wait. practically holding his breath the whole time

As he looked around the shop from where he stood waiting for his idol to be ready to finally meet him, Riley caught sight of practically the only person in the room that could sway his attention.
Was that, Ellsworth Bott Toussaint?!
Had he died and gone to some sort of beauty and fashion heaven? He couldn't even imagine a nicer place to be in the entire world than here right now. But now he had a huge dilemma, persue his own career and possibly miss meeting Evolette McKenna first, or stay and be the first to shake her hand and get an autograph before all the losers in here waiting.
He could make it over there and back before she began surely.
Walking over to the woman standing by the banner, Riley cleared his throat and spoke up, a tad nervously. "Hello Miss Toussaint, I'm Riley Sinclair and I, uh... was just wondering if you happened to recieve my owl with my resume."

And really, what would be wrong with a purple baby? Huh Copernicus, huh? It wasn't as if the potions here weren't reversible. Cela was all smiles though as she went on in, pleased to have missed the majority of the wizarding paparazzi outside, and especially pleased that there hadn't been too many chances for cameras to be shoved in her babies' faces.
Really it was clever to show up on Evee's tail, since most of them were pointed her way, and they hadn't had much time to adjust at the sudden appearance of Celandine Toussaint Kettleburn, her perfect (but admittedly unremarkable to the press outside of those interested in academia), and her sister-in-law, the CEO and creator of the Ellsberry line.
OF COURSEEEeE Cela was wearing HER perfume, Breathe. So pretty! Even seeing Lafay here didn't steal away her smile. The former Ravenclaw and former head girl, class of '72, simply gave the woman a polite nod of acknowledgement as she swept into the room, all sunshine smiles for everyone present. Where was the new proprietress?

... plus. She didn't like this pretty woman working so close with her husband.

Alexander's eyebrows creased inward. and a frown spread quickly across his face. He knew that tone all too well, and he also knew that nothing he could do or say would fix it at the moment. He eyed his wife a split second longer then did another sweeping glance across the room. As he did so, he placed his arm on his wife's neck, gave it a loving rub, and then let his dangle by his side again.
He grinned politely when the Grey woman appeared by their sides. "A lifesaver," he said, in a 'hmph' kind of tone. "Well I guess that just depends on who you are, now doesn't it?" He, for one, wouldn't be heading home with a grab bag full of samples. He was actually hoping to make ties with a few of the elite. He instinctively straightened his tie and jacket when his looked was commented on. "Well, you know how it, Miss Grey. You've got to look your best for just the right sort of people."
He gestured to his wife. "Have you met my wife?" he asked. "Professor Hecate Lafay of Hogwarts? I was just telling her how you're the new department head of Transportation."
Kyleigh Elizabeth Manning had never been inside the store but once - when her mother Aurelie had dragged her kicking and screaming to have her hair detangled. Now, in her twenty’s she was here on her own accord and dressed well. After all it was an important occasion. It was the grand reopening of the fine establishment known as Madame Primpernelle’s.
Her hair was pulled back out of her face compared to the usual mess of blond it ended up turning into. She smiled as she walked through the door and looked around at the displays - everything and everyone looked beautiful.
When she looked around and spotted the Minister of Magic Alexander Greingoth the second and - Professor Lafay? Right. She was the Minister’s wife she had almost forgotten about that. Now who to talk to when they waited for the ceremony to really get underway?
