Peak District is a vast area of land across central and northern England, most of which lies within the national park of the same name. The landscape is extremely diverse, open moorlands expand over the area, and they’re accompanied by enclosed farmlands, glacial edges, wooded gorges, pastures, caverns, and valleys. The Peak isn’t entirely uninhabited; a few of the trails run through small towns that cater to wizard and muggle visitors alike.

Most of the wildlife in the park isn't wild at all, but domesticated pets and farm animals. Common critters such as foxes, voles, and shrews inhabit the vast area with bats nesting in the roof of caverns. Most of what can be spotted here, however, are birds of all species soaring the skies at any time of year.

A pair of mountain bikes has been provided by Ms. Raphael and her team for the date, as well as a charmed map of the area so that no matter we’re the adventures ride, the two blinking dots on the map will show them their location should they find themselves misplaced. All of this sits with a woman from the dating service at an unofficial entrance to the park, ready to be picked up and worn out. Of course there is protective gear as well, though if the couplet is feeling a bit dangerous, they are more than welcome to go without on their trail ride.

Somehow the moment he started explaining, Alysson's grin grew wider and wider and she wasn't even quite sure why. Yeah, she'd got that his stupid comment didn't have anything to do with his intelligence or lack thereof. No, of course it was about just doing things without thinking much about them at first. Spontaneous, that was the word. Or at least she thought that was what he was talking about.

I just have a tendency to jump headfirst into things that sound awesome. At this she chuckled softly, glancing down at his tattoo for a moment a little absently. "Like what?" She met his gaze again with a small grin, genuinely curious about what 'stupid' things he was usually up to. For her this wasn't necessarily a bad character trait.

That grin was a little off-putting, and even though William was smiling almost as broadly, he found himself turning away from Alysson's gaze as the tips of his ears started to redden.

"Like.... relationships...." William murmured, sneaking a peek at her from the corner of his eye.

When he looked away, Alysson didn't drop her gaze for just a second longer before averting it down to the rest of her apple she'd placed in the grass next to the blanket. To give her something to do, she lay back down on her stomach, propped herself up on her elbows and reached for the apple.

Twirling the stem around and around absently until it came off, she had already started thinking of ways to change the topic since he obviously felt somewhat uncomfortable talking about this. But then he did finally reply. Not a very conclusive answer but he had at least said something.

She glanced back over at him with a small smile. "Oh. But sometimes you just have to...you know, go for it. Or else you'll never know what could've happened. Sometimes there's just no time or well way to think things through first." And with that her gaze was back on the apple stem in her hands. "That's what I think anyway." In case he'd wanted to hear her opinion on the topic.

William thought on those words for a moment, then scooted himself a liiiiiiitle closer to her. "Sometimes you just have to act on your stupid dumb instincts, huh? Is that what you're saying?" He scooted in a litttttttle closer still. "Sometimes it's a lot more fun if you do just jump headfirst into something without thinking it all the way through?"

He looked at her with a tiny smirk, having scooted close enough that their arms were at least touching now. The only thing he was wondering was what could happen if he kissed her right then.

At first she just nodded and "mhm"ed once in a while when William basically repeated what she just said. Her eyes were still on the apple stem in her hands which she was still fidgeting with. Which was kind of weird actually, since she usually wasn't the type to play around with stuff.

Anyway, so he agreed with her. Good. So hopefully that tattoo of his didn't do such a good job at reminding him not to do stupid things. Which she still wouldn't describe as stupid, not most of the time anyway.

"Yes, at least I think...so." She trailed off when she finally looked back up and found that William was considerably closer than she would have expected him to be. What was he doing? Alysson tilted her head a little which brought their faces even closer together and grinned. "Do you agree with me?" Heh.

"Mhmmm," William murmured, reaching out as if in a trance and brushing a strand of her brown hair away from her face. "I think we agree on a lot of things." Then, as if to prove his tattoo wrong, he did finally kiss her, soft and sweet on the lips.

Stupid, maybe, but it felt good so... he wasn't complaining.

Alysson glanced down for a moment and watched his lips move, a little absently, when he said they seemed to agree on a lot of things. Uh-huh. Not that she could think of a lot of them right now, or anything for that matter. His proximity was somewhat...distracting.

And then he did finally close the last bit of distance between them. Smiling against his lips, she returned the kiss softly, bringing one hand up to his chest as if to steady herself.

After a few more seconds of enjoying the way his lips felt on hers, she finally pulled back just enough to be able to meet his gaze. Grinning up at him she said in barely more than a whisper, "I like...stupid."

She did, did she? William grinned some more, looking rather like the cat that caught the canary, and flicked his eyes toward her hand on his chest then back to her lips.

She couldn't help but giggle and shake her head at his words, blushing just a little. "How much I like stupid?" Alysson repeated softly, narrowing her eyes slightly as if he'd just challenged her to something. Which he kind of had, hadn't he?

After waiting just a second longer in which she just grinned at him, she finally moved her hand away from his chest and to the back of his neck. So she could pull him back towards her for their second kiss on this date.

Was that enough of an answer for him?

Her giggling was cute, adorable, even. He could tell she was working through his words in her own little way, what with the eyes narrowing and the faint pink blush on her pretty face.

And he got a second kiss, hurrah! Just what he'd been hoping for! William was so proud of himself, he almost started laughing when she kissed him again. Instead, he smartly wrapped her up in his arms and gave her a little hug!squeeze along with the kiss.

"Heheh," he chuckled ~~stupidly~~ after her show of stupid. "Stupid is as stupid does, they say." Whoever they were.

Alysson smiled into the kiss when he pulled her into a hug. Somehow she felt pretty comfortable being this close to him. So instead of pulling back when they broke the kiss she just stayed right where she was.

"What?" She said laughing and shaking her head at him again at his stupid-comment. What was he even talking about? And why did she think all of this was just incredibly funny somehow? Something told her she would probably laugh at anything he said or did right now.

Glancing down between them for a moment, she ran her fingers over his Hogwarts-motto tattoo again softly. "You know-" At that she tilted her head to the side so she could whisper into his ear, grinning as if she was about to tell him a secret. "I think your tattoo isn't working." Not that she minded.

"Dunno. I heard a Muggle saying it once." William laughed too, his usual chuckle turning into something of a giggle when she tickled the tattoo on his side. Stooooopppppppthaaaaaaat hehehehe.

He bit his lip to keep from laughing more, especially once she leaned in to tell him some secret in his ear. It turned out that the secret was not such a secret at all.

"You think so?" Willy cocked an eyebrow, looking back at her. He pulled her closer to him so he could whisper into her far ear too. "Then maybe I should get one that says, 'Never tickle an Alysson Zookara.'" Smirking, he pulled back and proceeded to start tickling both her sides at the same time, fighting the urge to laugh some more all the while.

He was so clever. Tehe.

Alysson leaned in a little too - as far as still possible, seeing as he had pulled her even closer - and watched him out of the corner of her eyes when he moved in to whisper something into her ear in return. Why would he want to-

Before the meaning of his words could register in her mind, he already had his hands on her sides and started tickling her. "No...stop it!" She tried to get away from him but the constant giggling his touch induced weren't exactly helping her cause. ~~And squealing didn't help either apparently.~~

In the end she just ended up holding on to his wrists while at the same time trying to roll away from him. Which didn't really turn out to be a very effective combination. But she she was just too out of breath from all the laughing to do anything else. "No no no no no no, please stop." She said in between laughs, pulling on his hands a little half-heartedly.

She was going to get back at him for that.

William just laughedddd, laughed, and laughed some more. Her giggles ~~and squealing~~ were quite contagious, though at least he didn't sound like a little piglet whenever he laughed, unlike some people.

Willy found his wrists caught up hers and tilted his head at her, smirking. "Stop what?" he wondered innocently. "Sounds to me like you're having a good time."

He made wiggly fingers at her again. U WANT MOAR TICKLES?

Of course pulling on his hands wasn't such a good idea because - if anything - it only brought him closer to her. So pushing was the next logic step. Which was what she planned on doing when he was briefly distracted by talking to her.

Not before she had reached up to flick his nose playfully, though. "Innocent doesn't suit you." She commented with a grin in reply to his attempt to sound like he had no clue what she was talking about. Okay, NOW it was time to push though.

Or you know not. He wasn't tickling her anymore. For now. She glanced back and forth between his fingers which he was wiggling at her and his face a couple of times, a wary smile on her lips. She held completely still in case he tried to be...evil again.

Willy crinkled his nose at the little flick, if only to keep a sneeze from starting there. His nose did NOT like being poked! Hehe.

"Please don't arrest me, Mrs. Officer," he said instead with a wink. "I swear I'll behave." Or you know, not. She had to be eying his hands for a reason, right? "You liked the tickling, don't lie," Willy chuckled, wiggling his fingers once more. He probably could get out of her grasp but didn't want to hurt her by twisting his hands away.

How about... "If I promise not to tickle you, will you let me eat lunch?" Deal?

She laughed at his next words before getting really close to his face, gazing into his eyes as if she was trying to determine whether he was lying or not. "Huh. Why do I not believe you?" Alysson said quietly, biting her lip to keep herself from grinning at him.

Probably because secretly she didn't want him to behave either. Heh.

When he wiggled his fingers at her a second time, Alysson quickly switched position of her hands from his wrists to his fingers to stop him from doing it AGAIN. It was...kinda making her nervous. But shh. Poking out her tongue at him seemed like the only good reaction to his assumption - even if it probably was a little bit childish but whatever - so she did.

"Deeeeaaalll..." She stretched out the word as she continued to grin at him warily while slowly, very slowly releasing his hands from her grip.

William did some more innocent blinking, wondering why NOBODY believed HIM when he played the 'I'm cute and harmless' card but everybody always believed, say, his ugly sister when she did it????

Not fair. Maybe it was because he was built like a tall, tall tree and she was flightly like a butterfly... still not fair.

"Oh you wanna hold hands with me, is that it?" William snickered and gave her fingers a squeeze since they were holding his captive and all. "Why didn't ya just say so?" He watched that tongue dart out and resisted the urge to lean forward and kiss her again. That wouldn't be part of the whole 'behaving' contract, would it?

Deeeeaaalll.... Willy took a big step back once she released him and tucked his hands behind his back, grinning at her still. He whistled a bit and took the long way around the blanket toward the picnic basket, scooping up the one water bottle they had with his hands while he was at it. Hopefully she didn't see that, since his hands were still behind his back...

Alysson looked down at their hands when gave hers a little squeeze before grinning back up at him. "Yes, I planned all that so I could hold your hands." Which was actually not even that far from the truth. Okay, no she hadn't planned all this so that in the end they would be holding hands but it wasn't like she had anything against the whole concept of holding-hands. Nope.

Once it was clear that he was done tickling her - for now anyway - Alysson relaxed somewhat and just watched him make his way back to the picnic basket. Moving to sit up cross-legged, she started brushing - mostly imaginary - grass off her clothes, waiting for William to return.

Even though she hadn't had any sort of expectations of this date it was definitely going A LOT better than expected. Like a lot lot.

"Knew it!" Willy called back to her, already sitting down cross-legged right next to the picnic basket. Best seat in the house. And yes, the water bottle was safely hidden behind his back for now. Hehehe. No telling what he would be using that for later though.

He started unpacking the basket once more, taking note of the stock of cute lil finger sandwiches, some crisps, and a little container of suspicious-looking potato salad. Oh, and, "Look!" Willy called out excitedly. "Strawberries!" He popped one of the already-cleaned berries into his mouth and passed Alysson the container.

"Care for a sandwich, m'lady?" he added with a eyebrow raise, offering her one of the dainty, well-wrapped sandwiches.

Once she was done brushing herself off, her gaze went back to William who had seated himself next to the picnic basket and had started unpacking it again. Pulling her knees to her chest she put her head on top of them, just watching him for a moment, all of a sudden a little tired. Probably from all the exercise they'd been doing coming up here.

That or the fact that she'd just spent the last few seconds laughing while trying to get William off of him. THAT had been pretty exhausting too.

Her eyes flicked away from his face and to the container he was holding and her face lit up. Strawberries! Crawling over to where he was sitting - because she was simply too lazy to get up right now - Alysson took the container and put one of the strawberries into her mouth. Mmmmmmm.

She placed the container back onto the blanket and reached for the sandwich he offered her. "Most certainly, m'lord." She replied with a grin before moving to lie down on her back again - with her head resting on his thigh - and starting to unwrap her sandwich. Because she could. And because that way it would be easier to still eat her sandwich.

Alysson looked tired, or still suspicious of him. Perhaps it was a combination of both? Willy smirked to himself and finished unpacking a few more little sandwiches from the basket. Once it was empty (and yes he did turn it over to check), he arranged the food items in a tidy little row and set the empty picnic basket to the side.

He smiled back at her and picked up a sandwich of his own, watching as she settled down with her head against his leg to eat. Aww. Didn't she look cozy...

"Hey Alysson," he asked very casually, swallowing a big bite of sandwich, "ya thirsty?"

Snicker snicker. She didn't know what he had done to the water bottle.....

Once she was done unwrapping the sandwich, Alysson glanced back up at him for a moment to check if he was okay with her head resting where it was. He didn't seem to have a problem however so with a small content smile she returned her attention back to the sandwich.

Even though she'd been really hungry when they'd first found the basket she had somehow been way too err distracted to realize it until now. Mmmmm...it was delicious. Almost as delicious as the strawberries. Where had she put those agai-

"Hmm?" She tilted her head back a little so she could look up at him properly and swallowed. "...sure." Her gaze fell on his hand for a moment, expecting to find the water bottle there...only it wasn't. Okay, why had he asked her whether she was thirsty when the bottle wasn't even anywhere nearby?

Willy sorta reached around Alysson, his hand finding the container of strawberries where he scooped a few up and popped them in his mouth. Om nom nom nom goood. The sandwich wasn't bad too, though he had (admittedly) inhaled it like a teenaged boy.

Oh so she was thirsty, was she? "Here ya go!" Willy chirped cheerfully, passing her the tightly capped water bottle. "I don't mind if you finish it," he continued the charade, "since I already drank like, half."

And the other half was pure pressurized air. Mwahaha.

Willy helped himself to another sandwich, totally not watching and waiting to see if Alysson would unscrew the bottle any time soon...

"Thank you." Alysson gave him a slightly confused smile at his cheerfulness but in the end just shrugged it off. She was happy too. She wasn't one to show it by offering water bottles to other people but hey, they were all different in some way. Maybe that was William's...thing.

Seeing as she wouldn't be able to drink without accidentally pouring half of the bottle onto her face at the same time, she moved to sit up a little further, leaning her back against his shoulder this time. Right. Now, water! This whole rolling around on the blanket being tickled HAD indeed made her somewhat thirsty.

She started unscrewing the lid of the water bottle slowly, not really paying much attention to it but instead glancing around in search for the strawberries. Where had he put th-

Alysson let out a small shriek of surprise when the water bottle exploded right into her face, covering her with water. Fortunately (or unfortunately for some

), she had had the presence of mind to hold it away from her and to the side as soon as she'd realized what was happening.

"What did you doooooo?!" Because it had to have been him!
