Angela arrived at the beach, a little early than the given time. She wasn't too comfortable with all this blind date thing but had thought to try it once.. Maybe it would fun?? You see, it was her first date ever! She had never gone on a 'date' as such, except once when she sixteen.. and that wasn't even a date, just a coffee break! Angie had been more of a geeky type student.

And dressing up was a totally another ordeal! What to wear? What if her date didn't like her dressing sense? It would be so embarrassing! After trying for an hour, she gave up! Then she decided on a dress that she thought would be suitable on a beach date.

So, finally here she was, waiting for the her unknown date... She hoped that he would show up on time at least..

Well this was............ different.

Indigo opened his eyes to find his boots sinking into crystal white sand, with a seemingly endless expanse of empty beach visible from all sides, save for the crystal blue ocean just behind them. There was a cooler, some chairs, and an umbrella nearby but he, for one, was more interested in getting out of his stuffy clothes. He did not fancy getting his precious leather accessories wet with salt water, no thank you.

The former model started by plopping down onto the sandy beach and tugging off his boots, arranging them neatly in a line once he was finished. He pulled off his socks as well and balled them up into the heels of each shoe, and then rolled up his jeans a bit so he looked like he was wearing cropped pants.

Cropped pants. Heh. Indigo Bunbury would never wear something as atrocious as cropped pants. He shook his head and debated whether to leave his shirt on or wait until his date arrived and then take it off just in time with her arrival. That would depend on how hot she was, though. Hmm.

He decided to just head out into the water and get his feet wet, content with rolling up his shirt sleeves at the least. If he started to get too hot, though, he was definitely going to be doing some quick wardrobe modifications...

It was just as he stepped out into the cool ocean water that he spotted someone else on the private beach, coming closer to him like a mirage. Could it be his blind date?? He threw a hand up to squint in the woman's general direction and tilted his head.

"Hello?"

The breeze coming from the ocean was so.. refreshing! It was like inviting her to come nearer. So Angela decided to just walk along the sea-shore until her date showed up.. Wait, o_O Angie just saw a man, actually, a very handsome man, walking along the waters.. Was he the one? her blind date?? That was great! And he was looking ruggedly handsome, to say the least!

"Hi!" Angie waved to him as he called out, "Indigo Bunbury?" she tilted her face and asked when she got nearer to him. Wasn't that the name of her blind date? She hoped she had got it right! She certainly didn't want any sort of misunderstandings as to who her date was.

Indigo continued shielding his eyes with one hand, since the sun WAS still in his face, and waved back at the woman with the other. He couldn't see her from here yet but he did like the way she looked thus far. Simple sundress, classy wedges, some jewelry... looked niiiiiiice.

"Yes, that would be me." He smiled and dropped his hands into his pockets once she was close enough that he could step out of the sun. "Please tell me you're Angela Dawson."

He had no outstanding warrants at this time, right?

Thank God he was Indigo Bunbury! Wait.. what? Why was she thanking god that this man was her blind date? Well, that proved how great she found him to be!!

"Yup, that's me.." Angie replied and smiled broadly. That was a bit awkward, but it was fine.

So, now what? Do I say something or... she thought, wondering whether to say anything about herself or ask a question, so she just decided to stick to conversation for now. "So, do you like beaches? Or are you more of the bikes-and-cars type of man? Or both??" Angie asked, not knowing how and what else to talk about.

Haha. Blind dates. They were so awkward.

Indigo just sort of stood in the shallows of the ocean, smiling back a bit at this Angela person until she said something. Good question. "Oh I like beaches, warm climates, that sort of thing." He nodded a little. "I did used to have a nice sportscar until an ex-girlfriend kind of... destroyed it."

He cleared his throat slightly. His poor, precious baby Ferrari... once that was gone, Indy had never bothered to drop the galleons on another Muggle vehicle. "What about you? I mean, you're more than welcome to come into the ocean. It's quite warm." He beckoned toward her.

It seemed that Indigo too seemed as nervous as she was.. actually, not nervous, maybe just a bit awkward. Whatever it was, it was good to know that both were in the same boat!!

Oh? Nice sports car destroyed by ex-girlfriend?!?! o__O Wonder what he had done to get that kind of lovely parting gift! hehe.. Angie kind of giggled in her mind, and looked sideways to hide the small smile that had crept on her face.. Then she asked, "So you do like muggle cars. I do too! Being a muggleborn, I've always been in the midst of it all!" Angie's father literally splurged his money on high-end cars. So a little of that habit had crept into Angie as well.

Then replying to his question, Angie said, "I like beaches.. In fact, as far as I can remember, I've always wanted a house facing the sea!" Yeah, she had always dreamt of that, and right from now, she had started keeping some of her savings aside for it.

"Yup, lets go a little in, shall we?" Angela asked, smiling at Indigo. He was such a charming guy! "The water is so clear and beautiful, isn't it?" she said softly, almost whispering to herself. It had been so many days since she had visited the sea-shore!

Indigo could tell she was wondering about what he had said regarding the car but was rather grateful that she had passed on commenting on it. Heh. It was a long story (not a good one for first dates) that he didn't feel like getting into right now, so instead he focused on the other topic.

"I'm a pureblood, but I do have great appreciation for all things Muggle," he admitted. "Fashion, cars, hobbies, sports." Muggles were silly little creatures, bless their hearts. And speaking of fashion... "Nice outfit, by the way," Indy commented, his eyes flicking from the top down to the bottom of her dress. "I forgot my swimsuit, I'm afraid...."

Had she remembered hers? He was just curious.

"A house facing the sea," Indigo echoed, "sounds nice. Which sea?" He was thinking Mediterranean, as that was his favorite, but the Pacific wouldn't be bad either. Or wherever this was. He looked down and was surprised to be able to see his toes in the water.

"Sure is nice here..." the man mused aloud. "I wonder if they have sharks out here? Tis the season...." He looked up at Angela and grinned. Actually he had no idea about seasonal shark attacks, but her reaction to such a statement would be interesting.

It was good to know that he liked Muggle things! And yes, she could see that he liked muggle fashion because of the way he had dressed today. She hadn't yet seen it nicely but now that he complimented her, she really looked at him. Angie blushed a bit, seemingly surprised, because no one else liked her style.. "Glad you like it, Indigo" she said and looked at him. It was like he was a model or something. "You too look good.." If he hadn't been a wizard, he would surely have been a model or an actor.

Swimsuit! Damn! She had forgotten hers too! But there was no need to tell him that. "Its.. its fine. We'll just do all other things than swimming!"

Which sea.. "I would love to have a house facing the Mediterranean Sea! I like its blue-green waters."

Angie walked alongwith him, lost in the thoughts of her future house, when he mentioned something about sharks! SHARKS!!! No way.. "What!" Angela exclaimed, "There can't be sharks now.. right? Right??" Calm down Angie! He's just fooling you! she convinced herself. "You are joking right? And anyways, sharks do not come into these shallow waters." And then came his grin. Angie mentally slapped herself for falling to his joke. She laughed at herself for a bit.

Of course he looked good, he was Indigo Bunbury. "Thank you," he winked at her. Look all you want, if looking leads to liking.... "I ah, I noticed your outfit because I'm a designer, you see," he offered by way of explanation, "and a former model."

Things other than swimming? Sure..... "Or we could use magic to transfigure our clothes," Indy shrugged. He was good at modifications on the spot like that. "Maybe later."

Wow, it was like she read his mind! Indigo gave her an almost alarmed look for a second, like she was a legilimens or something, but then shook his head. No, that was silly... "Me too. Have you ever been to Italy? I have a place there." Small loft apartment, no big deal, but it DID have an amazing view. And he liked to talk about it a lot. Heh.

"I was joking, yes," Indigo laughed. "I know nothing about sharks. Creatures are definitely not my thing."

That explained it! See, she could guess correctly. "So you're a designer and really, a former model too?" Angie tilted her neck, in a way to show both surprise and interest. "No wonder you look so.. " she started saying saying, but abruptly stopped. She was going to say that he looked dashing, but figured that might not be appropriate. "Um.. so good!" she completed.

Angie nodded. Yeah, maybe later on they could go swimming.

Then he looked somewhat strangely at her, like she was dangerous or something. Why? Angela furrowed her brows and shot him a questioning look. Then she got it. Oh so he liked Med Sea too. But so what? She brushed it aside.

"Italy? I've never been to Italy yet! Nut I've heard that it is very beautiful, to say the least!" Yeah., the travel brochures certainly said that.. "You have an apartment or a condo or something like that? It must be beautiful certainly!" she said.

Angela laughed along too. This blind date wasn't as much a bad idea as she had thought previously!

"Yes ma'am I am." He glanced at her with a twinkle in his eye, fighting back a laugh at that honest comment. "You're not so bad yourself, you know." And then, because he always said this to women, "Have you ever considered modeling?"

Hehe.

"Ah, it's probably my most favorite place in the world!" Indigo could not get enough of that country. One might almost forget he was British, he loved Italy so. "I have a studio apartment near Milan, yeah. Not an oceanside view," no, because Milan was about 150 kilometers away from the shore, "but definitely a very cosmopolitan one."

They continued walking through the water and Indigo smiled to hear her laugh. So far, so good on this.... date thing. "What do you do for a living, Angela, if you don't mind my asking?"

Angela was actually enjoying this date. Indy was kind of cheerful and nice.. Angie blushed a little at his next comment. She, a model? Merlins! Angie rolled her eyes and laughed. "You're flattering me too much!"

It seemed that Indigo could go on and on, talking about Italy, if given a chance. It was totally obvious from his excited face how much he loved the country.
"Milan? I've heard that it is known for its fashion week or something, right?" Her muggle friends were crazy about fashion, and mentioned fashion weeks and shows most of the times! "So I figure that Milan is perfect for you, isn't it?"

Ah! The breeze was coming along, so fresh! Angie answered, "I just joined the ministry. I'm in International Co-operation dept..." So far, so good!

"Too much? Too much flattery is surely a good thing!" Indigo continued grinning at Angela from the corner of his eye. Was that a blush? "So you didn't say you hadn't considered it...." he continued in the same flirty manner. Heh.

Fashion week, of course, yes, it was the week he LIVED for! "It's about as perfect as perfect gets."

Indy tilted his chin up toward the breeze and let it rustle his shirt gently. Ah. This was a nice break, this beach get-away thing. "How are you liking it so far? International Cooperation sounds nice." It was kind of what he did, only not with clothing? Heh.

Hearing his flirty comment, Angie grinned and playfully smacked him on his arm. But the worst was that her blush was threatening to increase.. She hoped that it couldn't be seen.

But modeling? Nope, she hadn't considered it.. "Nope, really.. I hadn't ever considered modeling.. I was always like a nerdy student who liked studies more!" She was sure that she was quite the opposite of how Indy was. "Keeping up with the latest fashion trends is like a nightmare to me! So I just dress how I like!" But considering that Indigo the designer had liked her dress, she wasn't that bad too.

Bending down, Angie picked some shells that were lying in the shallow waters. They were so large and beautiful. "Look, aren't these a beauty!" she exclaimed. She put them into her purse and continued walking.

Then returning back to the topic of her work, she replied, "I am liking it so far.. Everyone is so nice and helpful there.. It is quite unlike what I used to fear about, like having a cruel boss and office politics and all!" Yeah, Gina was real nice. And all others were so helpful and cooperative! "I'm British Immigration Officer. The job is like, almost perfect for me!"

Nerdy, studious student? Indigo raised a brow but didn't argue with her. She probably was a little.... odd, if her picking up seashells like that was any indication. Indy glanced down at his toes again in the hopes that he wouldn't step on any sharp ones but he sure wasn't collecting any.

"Trends aren't a nightmare," he disagreed with a small tsk. "But true fashion means wearing what you want with confidence. There's nothing more beautiful than that." He nodded securely.

Sure, the shells were a beaut. Sure. Indy nodded sort of and plucked a sand dollar out of the ocean just like that. He held it out to her with a 'not bad' sort of look. "Think this one's worth anything?"

Good, good she liked her job! Positive people were always nice to be around, particularly when Indy knew he himself could be a moody pain at times. "So do you.... extradite people who are in the country illegally, or......?" The job title sounded interesting, anyway.

"What?" Angie asked him as raised his brow, indicating Merlins-knows-what! "Why do you look so surprised?" she asked surprised.

"Oh! They are a nightmare.. but ofcourse, not for you! And yeah I agree about that.." She nodded with him too.

Angie looked as Indy plucked out something out of the waters. She peered at it.. no..no.. it was a sand dollar! Ew... "Not for me!" Still, she returned his not-bad look. But anyways, her shells were much more beautiful and nice than his dead sand dollar!

Then Angie explained what her job consisted of. "Yup, that falls within my job range.. also foreign citizens can be detained if found unqualified or unauthorized to enter UK.." Mostly her job was just paperwork till now, and she hadn't yet detained anyone herself, maybe it was because she was just a new employee with no experience.. but still it was her job. "I know, I know, that it doesn't sound as fun as your does, but still it is nice!"

She began tracing a sort of design on the wet sand with her toes...

"Not surprised," Indy responded calmly. "I just find that fascinating about you. I don't think I've been on a date with a woman who would describe herself as 'studious' in........................"

In................. well, in well EVER. He just didn't date that type. "But it's cool. No worries, Ang." Could he call her Ang? He smiled innocently over at her, hoping that was all right anyway.

So the sand dollar was crap? Awesome. Indy flicked it off his thumb and let it fall back into the sand, shoving his hands in his pockets instead. Stupid seashells were way overrated anyway.

"Have you detained or arrested anyone yet?" Sounded interesting, though also a bit... boring, no offense to her. Indy sat down on the sand when she started dragging her toes through it, content to watch instead of participate. He couldn't think of any sand-toe messages to write anyway.

In.... what? Angela just tilted her head in a questioning sort of way, but then brushed it aside and smiled. Yeah.. many seemed fascinated like him. Though Angie really didn't understand why. Was that kind of weird? Whatever, she didn't care.. She liked the way she was and she sure as hell wasn't going to change for anybody!

She raised one of her brows up, Ang? Was that her? The short name didn't seem too bad, come to think of it. Angela, Angie.. Ang.. fine! "Yup, no worries.. Indy!" she replied back. If he was going to shorten her name, she too very well would do that.

She looked on as he flicked the sand dollar back into the water. That was better, right?

Her job, again. "Nope, I've not arrested anyone yet..." Though she really wished to do so! She kind of was looking forward to be all tough and mean and ofiicer-like.. But she would get that chance soon, no? "But you know what? I'm going to France next week! On official business!" Yeah, she was very excited for that.

Then changing the topic, because she wasn't really in much of a mood to discuss work, especially when he was in the glamorous world of fashion, and she was in the same ol' ministry. "So.. did you go to Hogwarts? And how old are you? If you don't mind my asking.." Ang asked Indy.

Indy. Heh. "I do like that name, Ang," he winked at her. She was a little saucy, eh? He liked that though. And Indy was one of his preferred nicknames, so no harm done there.

Going to France, was she. "Nice country. You should swing by Paris if you can." He nodded and continued walking along the seashore. "It's really a beautiful city with plenty of things to enjoy." People, food, wine, giant Eiffel towers. Great place.

"I didn't go to Hogwarts, actually," Indy answered, wondering if she found that surprising about him. "I attended the Wizarding Acadmey of Dramatic Arts, though for modeling and design, and not drama." Obviously, that went without saying when one considered his present job.

Still sitting on the sand, Indigo leaned back on his hands and tilted his head at her. "And I'm 32. How old are you?" She was definitely younger than him, this he could tell.

Ang rolled her eyes. Indy and his winks! Twirling one of her side bangs, she just sat there on the sand...

"Yeah, I'm actually going to Marseilles but I was thinking of Paris too after the job is done!" She had heard of many beautiful things about Paris.. Champs Elysees, Louvre, Notre Dame and of course, Eiffel Tower! "I really want to see The Louvre! And maybe shop at Champs Elysees too!" She had heard about the delicious cheese and wines and polite people and all, maybe that was the main reason for her excitement of her job rather than the job itself!

Oh? Not Hogwarts? Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts? Whoa! Angie didn't even know that there was such a school. "Hmm.. So you must have enjoyed there a lot I guess.." because, you know, without all the studies and homework et all.

He was 32? 8 years older to her! Well, he didn't seem that old. hehe.. To his question, she replied, "I'm 24." Oh! Now she was beginning to feel small!

"Oh you definitely need to visit the Avenue des Champs-Élysées," Indigo nodded, sounding all cultured and fancy. Heh. "It's a beautiful street just STUFFED with things to do and see. You'll have a good time wherever you go, I'm sure."

He glanced over at her and smiled. "I'm guessing you went to Hogwarts then? I'm sure it's a lovely school, as I've heard nothing but good things about it..." Except when something crazy and dramatic happened like every year.

Twenty-four?! MERLIN. She WAS young. Ha. "You're precious," Indigo laughed a bit, reaching over to pat Angela's shoulder gently. "Age is but a number, darling, don't let it bother you that you were paired with an old, old man on your blind date...."

This Juliet Raphael character was a tad off though.

Angela nodded as Indy said nothing more about about Champs-Elysees than she knew already! Stuffed with things? Oh well, she didn't know that it was stuffed with thing! A Smirk. As for enjoying herself, she knew she would.. she had always loved travelling, meeting new people, learning new languages and those things. "Yeah.. I hope so too! That is why I am so excited for the trip!" But of course her work came first, then sightseeing!

"Yup, I went to Hogwarts!" Ang replied with a big smile on her face, "And believe me, it was fun!" Yeah yeah... the weird activities that took place were all part of the fun! No, actually that weirdness itself was fun!

Ang giggled when he said old, old man on your blind date.. Hehehehe.. it sounded so funny! But, now that he had mentioned his age, he somehow seemed older than before. Leave it Ang! she thought to herself. So she just giggled a bit more.

"What House were you in at Hogwarts?" Indigo mused, looking over at her. "I had some cousins who went there...." If he had to guess, she would be either a Hufflepuff or a Gryffindor. Or wait, she'd said she was studious, yes? Then maybe she was a Ravenclaw?

Well well somebody was certainly giggly today. Indy leaned into Ang and nudged her with his shoulder. "What? What's so funny?" He maintained a very straight face and nudged her again. "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?"
