If it doesn't come in a cage or a tank, you will find it on the displays. Aside from the animals available in the store, you can also buy numerous supplies here as well. From health to medicinal to necessities to toys and accessories, you can find anything your new pet may need or desire just by browsing the displays! No matter the pet, you are sure to find a variety of supplies to welcome yours into the family, or pamper an old friend.
Numerous different foods can be found, from sensitive stomach to diet, and regular. If you need shampoo of any kind, they can be found in this area, too. If your pet has fleas or ticks, you can take care of them with a bottle or two. Of course, if you just want your Crup to stop smelling like wet Cruppie, these shampoos can even take care of that! While you're here, check out some of the grooming supplies. Brushes of all shapes, sizes, and materials are available. Snag a smaller brush to fluff up your pygmy puff's fur, maybe a wiry brush to tame your Niffler's hair, and your cat or dog would probably greatly enjoy a dander-snagging brush to keep them smooth and sparkly.
Necessary supplies include such items as tanks, aquariums, cages, travel cages, and more. Make sure to buy everything you need; wouldn't you hate to get home and find out you forgot something? If you need to, talk to the shop keeper to make sure you're buying the appropriate size and type of cage for your new pet. Some animals need much larger environments and some do not do well in certain types of cages.

Lizzie looked around and started gathering things for her new pets. A glass tank for the snake, toys for her kitten, food and a carrying cage for both. She had picked up a little dress for the kitten, but since he apparently didn't like the idea (signified by his hissing and swiping at it) she put it back. Her arms full, she haphazerdly worked her way towards the counter.
Glenn had been about to go buy Amata, her kitten when she tracked back and went to look at the accessories.
She couldn't just leave her kitten to starve. She moved Amata from her arms to a large pocket on the front of her jersey and picked up a litter box and some dried cat food. On an after thought she picked up a small bottle of coconut scented shampoo, she might as well try to get Amata to bathe. Who knew what these animals were capable of?
She didn't buy a cage or collar. Amata would be fine without them. Besides, she couldn't afford them anyway.
Glenn walked over to the counter, now slightly laden down with shopping. Amata still purring contently in her pocket.
Danielle searched through the store, she already had her bunny but now she had to buy the things for the bunny. She took a cage, a traveling cage, some food, rabbit's toys, a blue collar, a brush, shampoo, some treats and a little black jacket with a white bow for winter. Now that she had it all she walked towards the counter

Adam set the dog down so that he could walk by himself. To Adam's pleasure the dog stayed right by him and Louisa, his walk more like a bounce than anything else. Adam returned his gaze to Louisa as she started to speak, thanking him for agreeing to go to Knockturn Alley with. Adam gave her a smile as she reached back and took hold of his hand, locking their fingers. Adam was about to start thinking about the gesture, but then he decided against it. What did it matter what people thought of them holding hands? And instead of over analyzing perhaps Adam should just enjoy the feel of her hand.
"Of course. You seem pretty set that it's something that you want to do, and if you feel that strongly about it, then I back your decision one hundred percent." Even if that situation was highly dangerous and could possibly get them killed...Well, everyone had to go somehow, right?
Adam gave a little nod of the head as Louisa asked if they could carve the name into the color themselves. "Sure! That sounds more personal than having it professionally done," Adam said, stopping in front of the long rows of different collar choices. Woah. Who knew there were so many options. After all Defense Against the Dark Arts was Adam's best subject. He didn't know why but for some reason the class just came easier to him. By things I mean running, swimming, hiking and other crazy stupid stuff," Pffft. She may not be excellent at DADA but those things were absolutely irrelevant to the subject. Well, not absolutely but most likely.
Seeing the collar JB had picked, Louisa started moving through sizes, examining them while the dog bounced in front of her. She giggled, "He can't stay still. I think it'll be our first challenge to teach him how to do that," Kneeling on the ground and trying to put the collar around the dog's head, "People might complain about his excitement, I guess. Joy killers." There were a lot of those people and Louisa didn't want JB to be shut down by others.
...wait, it wasn't her dog. She shouldn't start acting all obsessed about him.

Adam looked at Louisa with furrowed brows as she explained what the Minister had them doing in Defense Against the Dark Arts. "That sounds great....if you're going to be a professional boxer, and fight with your fists not your wand," Adam said with a little shake of the head. Honestly, he was all for being in shape, but unless you were planning on getting in trouble with a lot of muggles, he didn't see why you needed to train your body. After all it doesn't matter how good of shape you are in: a body is no match against a spell. "If you'd like I could show you some little tricks I've picked up over the years that are kind of good to know. At least they've helped me."
Adam couldn't help but struggle slightly trying to put the collar on the over enthusiastic pup. Kneeling down next to them Adam put his hand on the dog's back. "Hey...sit still for a second JB." Adam had expected the dog to just carry on about its business, but to his surprise the dog actually sat still. "Woah...he is really intelligent isn't he?" Adam pet the dog on the ears in praise, the dog becoming somewhat mellow from the action. "There...you should be able to get it on him now," Adam said with a little laugh.
Adam gave a little nod of the head before standing up and following Louisa over to the food dishes. Adam couldn't stop his mouth from falling open slightly as he spotted a water and food dish set, and the dishes were made completely out of solid gold. Um...that was definitely not in his budget. They had just as many selections for dishes as they had for collars. Adam looked at JB to see if he had any preference but he was more distracted with a bone that he had found somewhere, plopping down and chewing on it.
"Well...JB doesn't seem to be too concerned with the bowls, so what do you think we should get for him?"

She was staring with a goofy smile on her face at the bowl when Adam spoke. She shook her head slightly and looked at JB who was still busy wrestling the bone, "He's so animated himself. I don't think he'll mind." She chuckled at that and moved to a shelf where boxed of dogs food laid. "We have to pick quite a few of those and then we'll increase the quantity of it at Hogwarts." He could go through the next couple of weeks with only one or two boxes while they arrived at the school where magic was allowed.

Louisa nodded, "Okay." She went to JB to get him off that bone, "And I'll be right after you at the counter. Maybe we can stop for something to eat after this? On me," She grinned at her friend. He already paid for a lot of stuff and even if his budget wasn't tight, she wanted to feel of use in here.
Pixxi's new ginger kitten purred comfortably in her cage while Pixxi went over to the cat food. She had no clue what she really needed, so she took the most expensieve bag of kitty food from the shelf. "That'll do, don't you think?" She said to the kitten. It meowed in something Pixxi assumed was agreement. "You'll probably chase and eat mice when we get to Hogwarts. I don't know how healthy that is really..." Pixxi continued with a low and concerned voice.
She shook her head a bit, and headed over to the shelf with toys for cats and kittens. There was so much to choose from, but she decided to buy a toy mouse that looked like a real mouse but became all lifeless once the cat caught it. Maybe that would keep the little kitten away from the real mice.
She stopped for a little while and put the cage and the bag of food down on the ground. It was actually quite heavy, and she needed to hurry so her family wouldn't wait too long for her. She looked around the shop to see if she had missed something. The she noticed it; a traveling cage. Pixxi picked up the cage with the kitten and the bag of cat food and managed to pull it over to the nicer cages. She didn't really care about what color the cage was, as long as the kitten was comfortable. Pixxi didn't know how large this sort of cat breed could be, so she picked up a medium size cage. It looked comfortable enough, and she could even choose which color it could be, so she chose a light purple one. She somehow managed to balance everything and stumbled towards the counter so she could pay.
Temperance comes over with her kitten to get some food, a cage, some toys, a bed, a brush and a tag. She finds the food easily but wonders how she will get more while she is Hogwarts. She heads over to the beds, goes over a black bed "I hope she'll like this, I think it will look nice in my room at home and at Hogwarts." Temperance then goes to get a cage, but she isn't sure what size the kitten will be when she is an adult so she gets a black adult cage. "My mom has always said it is better to be safe than sorry, which is why I will get the bigger one." She then picks up a few toy mice and a dangling feather toy. She looks around but doesn't see any tags "I guess those can be gotten at the counter." Tempeance heads over to the counter now that she has everything.
After Violet had spent some time looking at the various magical animals, she headed over to the display area. She had decided that while she was in the store, she might as well pick up a new cage for Mack, who had pretty much beaten his old one up during that tantrum he had on the Hogwarts Express. She looked over all the birdcages carefully, then finally selected an antique brass one--metal! Let's see him try to peck that apart, she thought to herself.
Nate goes to the displays and sees a wide variety of choices. He picks out everything carefully. He takes regular cat food, a travel cage, a cage, shampoo for fleas and ticks, a comb, and a brush. After he picks out everything he takes it up to the counter to check it out.

Yet he hadn't gotten to finding one even after the passing of time. However with it being mentioned when he ran into friends over the summer, including Selina who reminded him of Kurumi's words during school. Not to mention the birthday note with money attached from his brother talking about maybe needing a companion on the job, the YATI had decided it was time to take that step.
And that was why during one of his times off, he had headed down to Diagon Alley to see what might possibly develop. Simon had thought about an owl but it didn't seem to fit what he was looking for so Eyelops was out. So he headed down the cobblestoned street to the Magical Menagerie, opening the door and stepping inside once he had reached it. However once inside h might have gotten confused on where to go, having not stepped inside the shop since the summer before his 5th year.

Kyle gulped running her hand through her hair as she pulled it into a loose bun. She wasn't running late anymore today not at all infact for the first time in a while she felt things were almost normal. And then she would remember how she and Simon had left things off.
Why hadn't she just said something to him then and there. She wasn't afraid of him or anything. Almost like thinking his name made him appear he was there standing in the isle.
"Simon" she whispered gulping as she realized she would call attention to herself she simply dashed into the next section - the animals section sure if he saw her she was toast but if not. Maybe she could escape the awkward. Maybe.

Was someone calling him? The former Gryffindor turning around and looking to see if someone he knew was nearby only to see what he thought was a flash of blonde that could have simply been a figment of his imagination. Nothing else presented itself so Simon gave up. Shaking it off as nothing, he turned back only catching sight of the animal area of the shop in the process.
Eureka!
With that thought, Simon headed in that direction to see if he had any luck in his search. The young man having no clue a pet was not be all he would find.

Pepper stepped off of the street, gesturing for the man to follow her into the shop. "Here we are." Yes, it certainly smelled like a pet shop, didn't it? She eyed a display of puppy chow and then tilted her head, "Are you sure you could endure this place?"
Though, she supposed that one would get USED to it...

Following after the woman, Cliff also stepped into the Menagerie. He wasn't quite sure what to say. Though, he did spot a few birds on his way in. Which made him think that if he did get a job here, he might be able to push through the stench. "Thank you, Pepper." he responded, taking another glance around.
"Possibly. Though.. it might be a daily challenge." He shrugged. It did smell awful in here. But he supposed that's what happened when animals were kept in one building together.

Cliff grinned over at the young woman. She was sweet and very kind. Especially since she helped him find where he needed to go. Though.. he couldn't quite picture himself here. But he did need a job, so he left the his papers at the desk before returning back to Pepper.
... Was there anywhere else he needed to go? Not exactly. "I.. think that's about it, thanks." He nodded. Though.. "Mind giving me a tour? I still haven't gotten my bearings around here." A somewhat shy smiled appeared on the man's lips. "Though i wouldn't want to trouble you. Don't feel like you have to."
