The counter is located in the middle of the store, dividing the beauty care potions, located on the right side, from the beauty enhancement ones, located on the left side. It is decorated with small flower arrangements, a glass bowl filled with bonbons, business cards with the store’s contact information, a few magazines, including Witch Weekly and Rumours!, small brochures and pamphlets with coupons and special deals, and small flasks of fragrance samples. There are also two old fashioned cashiers, behind which you will always find the shopkeeper and/or her assistant. This is where you must make all your purchases or be publicly humiliated with a permanent jinx to the face for the rest of your life, if you decide to make the unfortunate decision to steal something. Currency conversion forms are also provided for those unfamiliar with magical currency. If you have any questions about a product, can’t find a certain potion, or are in dire need of immediate magical help for your beauty problems the shopkeeper or the assistant will be more than happy to help you. Of course, if you just want to strike up a conversation and share some juicy gossip that is okay too.

Oops! Well she hadn't meant to startle him. Pulling out a basic list of the main items they had in the shop she set it on the counter. She figured that would give an idea of what it was they carried. Though, it really only gave the names of the products. Hmm they really should have a detailed list of them there. Oh well, she'd do that after he'd gotten his purchases he needed.

Nodding as she explained whom it was he was buying for. "Okay, well first thing is, what is it that they are interested in. Do you want to get them something like a skin care or hair care? Maybe a set of items? Is there something particular you have in mind for either one? Or perhaps something such as a day at the spa?"

Hmm that last one wasn't on there! She had some changes she was sure she'd be making soon! She just needed to find her assistant!

Bradley looked down at the list of items and prices that was given to him, however it all looked so very foreign to him. He took a deep breath in and looked up at the cashier, questions written on this face. 'I'm suppose to know what all this is?' he seemed to ask her. Brad looked back down at the sheet of paper and was glad when the women started to speak again.

It gave him a reason to push the sheet of paper away, he needed to get Katherine to walk him through all this stuff at some point, although it would certainly be a laughing matter to her. He would be waiting for the five minutes of laughing before they even got to the 'But why do you want to know!?' . He listened to the women before him and jumped slightly at her last word, "Spa day? That seems the safest bet" He told her with a smile. Yes, he would get each women a day at the spa, together, they needed to bound after all. "How much would that be?" He asked with a smile, the quicker he was out of here the better, this place creeped him out.

He looked down at the sheet again but couldn't see anything much like a spa day - yes he knew that was after all - "Its not of the sheet" He pointed out.

She was sure he was absolutely flabbergasted as to what any of those potions and creams meant!

"Yes spa day, she will get every one of the creams and potions for the skin, at the top there, get to choose one any of the hair products and a free teeth whitening as well." She said as she pointed to each item she mentioned. "It would be 7 galleons for each person." Which actually was a good price for it "And it includes a 20% off coupon for any purchases they wish to make at any time as well."

"No not quite yet, I have some changes I'm implementing here soon. I just...need to find my assistant I haven't seen her ~~yet~~ today." Glancing around again she wondered where the girl was!

He really had no idea what the women was saying, or for that matter what any of the words on the sheet of parchment meant, so he smiled politely and took her word for it. If he got it wrong he'd take the wrath from the women. Sigh, he gave the women behind the counter a smile and pulled out his purse. He had enough for two spar days but he had to be careful, Emily didn't like surprises and would probably jinx him if he went ahead and brought her a gift. No he needed to check on that and come back, oh dear.

Katherine on the other hand would love the surprise, she'd probably thank him countless times with hugs before bouncing around the room. Or something like that, probably less dramatic. So, yes he would go ahead and buy that one. Looking up at the women he smiled and held out seven galleons, "If possible I'd like to order one of those spa days?" Oh by buying this for only Katherine then they couldn't have a bounding session of some sort. Oh shoot. He thought, need to think up another idea he told himself.

Taking one of the coupons off the stack she filled it out easily enough and passed the coupon across the counter to the man as he handed her the 7 galleons.

"No worries at all, I'm just taking over shop here, so I still have things to set in place." she said offering him a smile "Is there anything else I can do for you?" Once that was done, she'd see if she could find her assistant in the back and set about trying to get the other ideas onto that list and add some of her own potions and such as well.

Bradley gratefully took the coupons from the women as he handed over the money, giving them a quick glance he put them in his pocket to look at at a later day. He gave her a smile and a "thank you" He was just glad that all that was over, phew, the things he did for the people he loved.

"You're welcome." she said giving him a smile in return. She definitely hadn't expected a guy to be the one who entered the shop as her first customer. But he was a kind man, and definitely a gentleman if he was getting gifts like this for someone he cared about!

"Mmm, no not too much, I had another shop before this but felt it was time to move on and came to London." Okay, yeah you don't have to tell your life story! "I saw the position was open and thought it would be a nice change of pace." she replied with a smile. "I ran an apothecary in northern England before this."

He was a tad amusing really. She wasn't positive but was pretty sure it wasn't just the keeping her from her work but also the fact of what shop he was in! Tilting her head slightly her eyes shown happily. "I'd like...that?" Of course she'd figured it'd be just as friends. Pfft, most guys thought she was a tad of a tomboy and didn't see her beyond that and she'd just come to accept it as the norm.

Why was he running out the door? She'd not even gotten the answer out before he was gone! Moving away from the counter, she headed after him out the door. She couldn't go far being she hadn't found her assistant but she could hope to catch him...right?

Sonea’s eyes widened when she saw a new shop and she really, really wanted to visit the shop! She had once saw a older girl with her nails pink and Sonea wanted to have the same! She had no idea how her nails could get pink, she thought that there would be a potion she could use to color her nails and she hoped that she could get it here, in this shop. “Come with me inside!” Called Sonea for her maid and walked over to the shop but stopped halfway and looked critical at her maid. “Maybe you could look inside for some potions for yourself, you can use it for you face and hide that ugly color of yours.” She didn’t waited for her maid to response and walked inside the shop and to the counter.

“excuse me” said Sonea and looked around her for the shopkeeper to help her. “Is there a potion I can use to color my nails pink?” Asked Sonea.

Offering her the jar to take a look at the ingredients and such on it. "It comes in any colour you wish to have, and costs only 2 sickles and 4 knuts."

A gentle smile appeared at the girl's excitement when Kat had shown her the nail colouring. "Good." Turning back to the counter with the container she set it on the worktop. "Of course I can change it to any of the shades I have right here." Picking up the tray of only pinks, she gave her a smile and said "Which shade would you like, pick which bottle has the colour you'd like and I'll put two drops of that colour into the solution and you're all set."

Giving the girl a smile she placed her nail potion into a bag and handed it to the girl. "Thank you." she said brightly as she took the coins. Watching as the girl left with the older woman she just stood there shaking her head. Placing the coins into the register she was just amazed how such a young child could treat someone like that. Maid or not, still, it was sad to see a child talking to an adult like that. She'd always been taught when she was younger to respect her elders.

Though that hadn't stopped her from running off when she was 15...

Isobel entered the shop and the first thing she did was wrinkle her nose. Honestly, femininity is fine, but there was such a thing as too much lace, or flowers, or pink. She felt like she was being assaulted by girliness. Even the name was eugh: Primpernelles? She pitied the woman who had to live with that name.

She headed straight towards the counter in the centre, deciding not to make an attempt at finding things in the aisles. To start, it would only prolong her visit, not to mention that she had no idea what any of these things did. Easier just to ask someone.

"Excuse me, do you have anything for removing wrinkles?" Isobel asked the lady at the counter. "For my mum, her birthday's coming up and she's been complaining," she clarified, though hopefully it was clear that it wasn't for her. If she was wrinkling at age eleven, something was probably seriously wrong.

Directing her to one of the aisles, Kat went directly to the two skin products "One is for excessive wrinkles." Holding up the bottle of 'Up Up and Stay' she showed it to her then held up the other "And the other is 'Old-No-More' which is for just a slight wrinkle problem."

Which one did her mother have? She'd know her mum better than Kat would. She assumed the latter but you never knew!

Old-No-More? Really? That had to be the most pathetic supposed-to-be-clever name for something that Isobel had ever heard of, and that's saying something, considering her neighbour was a muggle primary school teacher.

"Uh, yeah, the second one please." That sounded about right, a 'slight wrinkle problem'. Ugh, anything to get out of the place- she could almost smell the hair care products right down the aisle. "How much is it?"

Giving her a gentle kind smile, she nodded "Of course." Taking the bottle she headed back to the counter "It's seven sickles." The girl looked like she'd like to be anywhere but where she was right that moment, so Kat figured it'd be best to just get it all taken care of quickly for her and not keep her.

"Is there anything else you'd like? Or maybe have it wrapped nicely for your mother?" she asked to make sure there wasn't anything else.

Hopping up to the counter with her two bottles of Heat Protection Potion, Kurumi waited until it was her turn to pay and then set both on the counter before fishing through her bag for her coin purse and university identification.

"Excuse me, I'd like to pay for these please," she said while sliding them towards the shopkeep. "I'm...not a proper dragonologist yet, but I am attending university to become one..." So could she also get that discount? Please? Poor university student here and these potions did not come cheap.

Giving the last customer one last smile before she turned away. Kat turned and gave the next customer a smile as well. "Two Heat Protection potions." she murmured and nodded when the girl said she was attending university to become one "Good field to go into, and a fine choice. That'll be 1 Galleon and 1 knut."

Yes, attending university was enough to qualify for the discount. Kat had no problem with offering a discount for inspired students who wanted protection. They needed it more than Dragonologists she figured, since they were still in training!
