Arianna made her way into the changing rooms very excited to try on her new uniform for the first time. She was finally going to look the part although she wasn't sure this would be the ideal outfit to be wearing on a day to day basis.

Gavin, a big pile of clothes in his hands, walked into the changing room and looked around for Dev.
"Dev," he called.

Dev had fallen slightly behind Gavin walking to the changing room. She ran up to where he was. "Sorry. I'm right here." She deposited her clothes on the nearest chair. "I think this fitting room is open-do you want to go in first or should I?"

"Eh! Go right ahead! I'll look if there is another fitting room available."
Gavin walked further and effectively found another room available.
"I got one!" he yelled to Dev. "I'll try it and come out to show you."
It was definitely nice to have somebody like Dev around... She knew clothes!

Dev waited until Gavin told her he had found another open room. She walked into her room and pulled on the first size of pants-which were a little tight. She then tried the second pair, which fit perfectly. The same happened with the shirt and sweater. She walked into the small hallway and waited for Gavin to exit his room with his uniform on, hopefully she had chosen the right sizes for him like she did herself.

Gavin put on the first shirt, trouser and vest Dev had given him. To his immense surprise and joy, they fitted perfectly. 'Wow!' he thought. 'She really got the eye for this.'

A wide smile on his face, he walked out of the fitting room and looked up. Dev was standing right in front of him, in perfectly fitting clothes.
"It fits!" he said excitingly.

He had to admit, even his mum did not have as good an eye as Dev... then again, his mum was an adult and she had to deal with adult size while Dev was his age. Maybe that had something to do with how good she was.
"Do we have everything now? Oh! And do they have those gloves from the list here you think?"

"Mine do too! I'm glad to see that yours fit. I had worried that I grabbed the wrong size, but I just trust my intuition and it's pretty much right most of the time..." Dev relized she was rambling and quited herself.

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the gloves! I think they're by the checkout...we can grab them on the way there. Other than that, I think that's everything."

Gavin smiled at her again. That part of the shopping had gone very well, thanks in great part to her.

"I'll change back," he said, now excited about shopping for the rest of his equipment and supplies. He walked into his fitting room and changed back into his muggle clothes. He grabbed all of his new clothes and walked out of his fitting room.

"You said you've done all your shopping, right?" he asked Dev a little disappointed. She was, after all, very good company, he thought. "Maybe we will see each other on the train then?" he asked, hopefully.

Dev beamed back at Gavin, glad she had happened to run into the boy. She walked back into her own changing room and changed back into her shorts and tank top, then grabbed all her stuff and walked out.

"Yes, I've pretty much finished getting everything I need." She was a bit disappointed she couldn't do some more shopping with Gavin. He was pretty fun to be around. "Yeah, we'll definitely see each other! I'll make sure to find you on the train. Or, you know, you can find me too. Whoever gets there first. But we should make sure to see each other on the train." Dev stopped talking, sure Gavin had to get tired of hearing her go on at some point. "So...I guess I'll see you then."

"Yes! Let's make sure we meet again on the train."
Gavin waved at her and walked out of the fitting room area.

"Yes! Let's make sure we meet on the train," he said to her.
With a little wave of his hand, Gavin walked out of the fitting room area.

Skye yanked open the curtain to an empty changing room and entered, closing it behind her and frowning. She put on the blouse and skirt she had taken from the racks and examined herself. They fit. Nearly perfectly. She then decided to get it and changed back to her jeans and t-shirt before leaving the changing room.

Zhenya stood in the changing room after her mum flopped into the chairs. She didn't like trying on clothes, nor was she very interested in them. She was SO excited about buying her books though.
Slowly she undressed and put everything on, checking for sizing and fit. Everything, somehow, fit perfectly. She smiled, thinking how easy it had been. It's never this easy! She gathered everything in her arms and walked out, showing off all her teeth to her mum.
"It all fit Mama," she said. "Can we please go and get my books?"
"Okay, give them here," said Lizabel, and walked off.

Verexa was so mad she ate so much over the summer, she grabbed the biggest looking robes she could find and headed to the dressing room with her head in shame. The robes were way too big, but as Verdexa is an overexaggerater she thought they fit perfect.

Sophie was trying on her robes as her Older Sister Aubrey was becoming impatient. Sophie tried on all her things and decided that they fit perfectly. She came out of the dressing room and said she was ready.

Evangeline took the items she needed to try on from her father and found the nearest empty changing room. Once inside she pulled the curtain closed. She tried on her skirt, blouse and both robes. When she was finished putting them on she walked out and towards the mirrors. She gasped at what she saw.

In the mirror was a girl wearing a long black robe sweeping the floor, the robe was lined with blue, the colours of Ravanclaw. The girls pale skin and red hair stood out against the contrasting Blue and Black. The girl in the mirror looked so grown up, not a girl of eleven years of age.

Her parents gasped at the sight of their child looking older then she was. Evangeline saw a tear running down her mothers face but she ignored it as her mother turned away to hide it.

"I think they fit fine," her father said with a smile.

Evangeline walked back inside the changing room and changed back to her own clothes. Outside the changing room her parents were waiting for her to take the items to the counter.

Scarlett's Mother passed the first set of school robes to her as she stepped into the changing room. Pulling on her school skirt, black tights, blouse and grey sweater Scarlett twirled, seeing that the sweater made me look much bigger than she actually was. Frowning she called her Mother "Mum. Can I try the cardigan instead!"
After being given the cardigan she replaced the sweater. Finally! It fitted great.
"Should I put on the cloak also?" "Yes Scarlett!" Her Mother demanded in frustration.
Rushing she fastened the black cloak by the silver fastenings.
"Well. That is fine Mother." Scarlett pulled the clothing off and folded them into a neat pile on the floor.

Now it was time to try the black robes.
Looking from the front view to side again and again Scarlett decided it was too loose around her waist. "I think we can get this adjusted at the counter!" She called again through the door.
Standing in awe she watched herself sway backwards and forwards. "I'm actually going to Hogwarts." She whispered until she heard the impatient knock from her Mother indicating to change and head towards the counter.

With her mother helping her, Alexis walked into an empty changing cubile and tried on the items she had picked up. On trying the sweaters, she realized that they were too warm for her. So while her mother left the changing room to exchange the sweaters for cardigans, she tried on the other clothes. Her mother arrived in time to see her trying on her dress robe. Alexis looked at herself in the mirror. She twirled around and looked at her mother. She was smiling approvingly. "Everything fits, mother. I think that we're ready to check out. With the help of her mother, she carried all her items to the counter.

Audrey entered a empty cubicle. She quickly tried on what her mother gave her. She looked into the mirror. Everything fit perfectly. She smirked. "Audrey?" her mother knocked on her cubicle's door. "I'm here!" she called. "Does it fit? Oh! And here are some more to try on." Her mother handed her as Audrey opened the door. "Yes mother. It fits perfectly." Audrey took the clothes her mother handed her. With a sigh, she closed the door and tried them on.

Yup, everything fit. Weird though. She came out of the cubicle and looked around.

Raven walked into the changing room excitedly. She was going to try on the new clothes she would wear at Hogwarts. First she would try on one of the black work robes. She looked in the mirror after she had it on. Hmm... she thought. A bit odd, but she looked good in it. Raven could make a paper bag look good though, so she wasn't surprised.
Next she tried on the black pointed hat and the winter cloak. The winter cloak ended up being very warm. She knew at that moment she wouldn't need any spells to keep her warm, although she thought some warm mittens might be nice. Ahh, she would have her parents owl mail her some, she pushed the thought away and tried on a white blouse, a grey cardigan, the hufflepuff tie, and a skirt. She also tried on a pair of white knee socks. She hoped the socks wouldn't fall down her legs. They always seemed to do that. Well, maybe there is a charm that can keep them from falling down, she thought hastily. They looked great. Lastly she exchanged the cardigan for a grey sweater. She decided she would get one sweater and one cardigan. She liked the cardigan better, but she knew that variety was always good. She didn't want to get bored of her school uniform.
Out of everything she tried on the item she liked the least was the hat and the item she liked the most was the hufflepuff tie. The yellow really made her eyes pop. They were blue and she always did think that yellow and blue looked good together. She exited the dressing room and walked toward the counter. But before buying she told her parents about how everything looked. They liked the sound of the uniform. "It really makes for school spirit! Don't you think, Victoria?" Michael Sloan asked his wife.

"Aw I think that uniform looks so nice on you!" Anna said. She sprang up from around the corner and hugged her friend, dropping her sweaters and scarves in the process. "Oops." she said as she turned red picking up her clothes. Her mother and younger sister, Emily, came around the corner. Emily was busy eating a chocolate frog while Anna's mother and the Sloans started talking. "So what else do you have to get off your classlist?" Anna asked Raven.

Raven was so excited to see Anna, she couldn't wait for King's Cross! She responded with, "Thanks so much! Yeah, I really love the uniforms! Don't worry about dropping them, I'm sure they will be easy to clean... How does cleaning work in the wizarding world anyways? Oh! Nice to meet you.... Um, who are you? Your little sister is too cute? What's that you are holding? Candy? Ah, my list on my acceptance letter. I have to get a lot. I've already been to a lot of shops, but I haven't talked to any of the shopkeepers yet... although it might have slipped my memory... Maybe it will come back to me if I go back to all the stores I visited... Want to come? If you do, let's start here. I really need my robes, what am I going to wear if I don't have a uniform?! haha!"
Raven was glad that her parents were getting along with Anna's mom.
"Alright, I will be at the counter if you need me!"

"Same the uniforms are very lovely!" Anna said beamed at her Hufflepuff scarf. "Oh yes, cleaning in the wizarding world is so interesting to watch! Father will flick his wand and the clothes just know what to do. My name is Anna Reese by the way, I met you in Gringotts. And thanks, her name is Emily. She will be attending Hogwarts next year. And that's a chocolate frog, have you had one before? They are quite delicious! My favorite wizarding candy! And sure! I would love to go shopping with you! My mom might have to tag along once in awhile though. My father and my brother are busy looking at Quidditch equipment across the street." She happily skipped behind her friend on their way to the counter.

"Really? Cleaning is that easy? I heard there are house elves! Do you have one? Do they clean for you? Of course I remember your name Anna, what a silly thought to forget my best friend's name! Psh. Of course I didn't know your sister's name! You never introduced us! Haha! Oh that will be so exciting when she comes to Hogwarts too! So a chocolate frog, it seems to be jumping away. What's that wrapper? Oh, well if it's your favorite wizarding candy, I will definately have to try it! Oh yeah, my parents will be coming with us too. I just thought we could kill 2 birds with 1 stone and all go shopping together! Oh I can't wait to meet your brother and your dad! But, I'm sorry I don't know.. But what's Quidditch? Here, let's continue this discussion at the Gringott's Main Hall. I know we both have to go there."
Raven was so excited! She had a best friend now! Things at Hogwarts were getting easier and easier! The hardest thing about the wizarding world were the wait times for everything... But soon, shopping would be over and she would be on a train to Hogwarts!

"Yes there are houseelves..." Anna said quietly. "But I feel awfully sorry for them though. We used to have one but then father lost him in a bet to my Uncle thank goodness. I felt simply dreadful when the poor house-elf would clean the gutters... And oh sorry about that. Emily! Come over here" A shy, young girl dropped her chocolate frog and walked over to Anna. "This is Emily, my younger sister." The girl had the same color hair as Anna but bright green eyes. "Hello." Emily said shyly and walked away to go look at robes. "She's very shy." Anna told Raven. "You don't know what Quidditch is? Oh my it's only the greatest wizarding sport ever! You play it on broomsticks!" Anna cheered. "My father played Keeper in the past and my brother is a Beater. I hope to someday be a Keeper for the Quidditch team... it's in my blood well that's what my uncle earl tells me." The two then walked to Gringotts bank together while Emily shyly followed them.
