Default Interrogation Rooms and Holding Cells

INTERROGATION ROOMS & HOLDING CELLS
The design of the interrogation rooms and holding cells reflects a commitment to maintaining order and security within the magical community. By creating an environment that is both intimidating and secure, the department ensures that suspects are kept in check and that interrogations are conducted efficiently. The combination of magical and mundane security measures underscores the seriousness with which the Ministry approaches law enforcement.

The interrogation rooms are designed with both functionality and psychological impact in mind. These rooms are dimly lit, with a single, enchanted lantern providing a steady, albeit flickering, light. The walls are lined with soundproofing charms to ensure that no sound escapes, adding to the sense of isolation. The furniture is minimal: a solid, wooden table with binding spells engraved into its surface, and two chairs—one for the interrogator and one for the suspect. A mirror is also present in each room, allowing Law Enforcement employees to observe the interrogation being conducted.

Adjacent to the interrogation rooms are the holding cells, where suspects await questioning or transfer. These cells are stark and austere, with walls reinforced by anti-magic wards to prevent any attempts at escape. The cells are small, with only a narrow, enchanted window that offers a view of a blank stone wall, further heightening the sense of confinement. Each cell contains a simple cot and a chamber pot, ensuring only the most basic of comforts. The doors are made of reinforced ironwood, imbued with spells that neutralize any magical abilities of the occupants.
