Break Room
 If you're a level four employee and in search for decent coffee or the latest office gossip, the break room is the place to be. Located just past and directly connected to the conference room, the break room provides you with... whatever you put into the fridge and cabinets there. It is essential for you to bring your own dishes - mugs, plates, water glasses, eggcups, whatever your heart desires - as the Ministry does not have the means to provide them. And there are no disposable plastic cups or the like.
This room is for level four employees only, so if you would rather spend your breaks with people from other departments, why don't you head on over to the Pets 'n Plants Café?
OOC: This thread is for level four employees only - unless you want your character to get into trouble with the department head.

Her nerves were still rather frazzled after the previous year, but now that everyone had been safely rescued from Atlantis and the relations with the Merpeople were works in restoration.. or.. as much as they currently could be given the circumstances, she was trying desperately hard to re-raise moral within the office. Not to mention, still get to know many of the people who she had not yet had a chance to do so.
Which was why the break room was filled with the aroma and freshly brewed coffee. There was also a table laden with specialty drinks from the cafe and a selection of every pastry imaginable laid out for anyone who might want to partake. Her intent had been to bring the treats from the cafe so that they would all interact together instead of being distracted by all the darling creatures, and yet in her softness she had allowed one of the crups to snuggle into her arms and she brought him with despite her previous resolve to not.
Petting a crup was good for morale too, was it not? Maybe she could even get him a new family.
Selecting a chocolate croissant for herself, the Department Head nibbled at it as she sat herself on the ground - criss cross apple sauce - and allowed the little cruppy to climb all over her.
Her black slacks and silk shirt would be entirely mused by the end of break, but that was alright.

Was it weird for Tia to be back at work? In a way, yes. She had weirdly grown accustomed to life in Atlantis and while it was now an open invitation to visit any time she liked, the young adult hadn't been back since. It just ... wouldn't feel the same. Also, while she wouldn't recommend the mernapping thing, it was almost like a sabbatical. Except it wasn't by choice.
But it would be nice to finally get to know her 'new' department head, along with any other new hires. Maybe even get her life in order. It wasn't as if she was getting any younger and she definitely hadn't missed the lack of her mother's nagging about when she was going to give her a grandchild. As if she didn't have a brother.
"OKAY, who's crup is this and where can i get one?" She cooed as she made her way over to her boss and sat down on her knees to give the cruppy some head scratches. Maybe next time her mother asked about the grandchild thing, she'd just offer her a picture of a grandcrup instead. Pastries can wait when there was creatures to play with.

Hearing footsteps enter, Sook looked up from her spot on the ground and smiled as Ms. Mancini entered. While she would be pleased to see any of the employees coming to take advantage of the coffees and snacks, Ms. Mancini and Mr. Zunther were two she was particularly concerned about given the ordeal they'd both experienced. Though, in reality she also still held a lot of concern for Mrs. Zunther given her own version of the experience. She might have been here, but perhaps the concern and the unknown of a new spouse was even more scary. Not that Sook could begin to understand either side of the predicament, not intimately anyways. She wondered if perhaps Ms. Mancini had also experienced any relationship issues as a result of her ... unwilling absence.
Perhaps too personal of a question though. Especially when it was so much easier to focus on work and the most adorable little creature in their midst. "In truth, this little darling could be yours. Little guy stole away with me from the cafe and I didn't have the heart to send him back. Not without getting some love and affection from the department." At least... until someone showed up allergic which was something she was only now realizing could be a problem. She watched it bound away from her to and Ms. Mancini. "Do you have any pets at home?"
