The two interrogation rooms, each with an unbreakable mirror and a heavy door on one wall. Behind the mirror of course a MLE employee could stand and see into the room itself. These mirrors are charmable and not always activated. Sometimes they simply appear to be mirrors on both sides. Any investigation carried out within these rooms will be recorded in pensieve form for later reviewing.
There is no escaping these rooms but likewise, if you're within one, you'll be perfectly safe from anyone seeking to cause you harm.
Room 1:
Room 2:
The three holding cells with an unbreakable mirror and a heavy door on one wall and nothing else to speak of aside from a table a chair and a makeshift bed which is secured to the wall. One has a light that stretches from the ceiling and swings gently this way and that, casting a yellow glow that is constantly and lazily in motion around the white painted room, while rooms Two and Three have fixed lights, that provide a horrible artificial tint of color.
There is no escaping these rooms but likewise, if you're within one, you'll be perfectly safe from anyone seeking to cause you harm.
Room 1:
Room 2:
Room 3: The only people allowed to post in these rooms are MLE employees including the department head and those who are being held in the Holding Cells. All others will be deleted, unless you have permission from Isaac Muir.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Felix Lupin First Year | For Sneakeh Cat/Kristen Blaze It had been a very long day. The kind of long day that no amount of coffee could really fix but that wouldn't stop her from downing the cups. She had one of her CI's put a hit out on her... risky sure but she knew the Blaze family did this and it was the best way to catch them redhanded. Maybe not for what she wanted her caught for: Racketeering. But something was better than nothing. Like Al Capone being caught by the IRS.
Kristen Blaze was seated in interrogation room one. Charged with Conspiracy, Attempt at murder and Assaulting an Officer. Tempest hoped that if Kristen was smart she might consider throwing her family under the bus for a shorter sentence. Was loyalty to her family worth life in Azkaban?
Tempest loved her family but she couldn't see how that made any sense. She'd have to take a crack at her though.. But she needed the right approach, talking down to her wouldn't work. So no bad cop. Good cop might also be bad. There were positives and negatives to all approaches. Whatever she did she'd have to stick with it.

She had MUCH better things to be doing right now than sitting in this empty room, on a very uncomfortable chair, staring at her reflection in the mirror in front of her. Not to mention, she had almost completed her job until the bloody Auror decided to intervene. That alone made her blood boil. She knew they would try to break her, attempt to get information out of her, but it would not work. Did they even have enough evidence to keep her here? Not like she did anything illegal.... well, they didn't see her do anything illegal.
She crossed her arms over her chest and narrowed her eyes. "I'm getting lonely in here," she called out. Were they watching her at this exact second? She did not know. "I would like a cup of coffee... no cream or sugar."

"I would like a cup of coffee... no cream or sugar." Tempest walked into the room, file in hand, looking over it and ignoring the request for coffee. She knew the coffee here was awful but even if it was good she wouldn't be giving it out anytime soon. "Ms Blaze, you and I are going to have a much easier and faster time if you co-operate. You see now that you've been arrested for multiple things I have warrants to search your home. I'm expecting to hear back from my fellow Aurors any second on what they might find. But it would be much easier if you would confess to your crimes."
She pushed the file over to Kristen, inside was the pages of proof that showed the Blaze family business was clearly a front to launder money. "We could talk about this too.. I'm sure we could cut you a deal." Because what kind of a fool would take more time in Azkaban? The charges she had stacked looked like quite a big chunk of time.

Kristen knew she would be here a while, so she decided to make herself as comfortable as she could get. She kicked her feet up on the table in front of her just as the woman made an appearance. Well, she didn’t she look like a ray of sunshine? Hmph. “I know what I have been arrested for,” she sternly replied. Not like they had enough evidence to keep her here; she knew how to cover her tracks thanks to dear ole daddy. “Tell your Auror friends to make sure the place is clean before they leave, ok? I have a date coming over tonight.” In other words: they would find nothing. Except maybe a few candy wrappers and empty soda cans.
She reached for the folder that was pushed her way and skimmed through it. “You’ve been busy, haven’t you? A true fangirl of Kristen Blaze.” Smirk. “Oh, sweetie, I don’t make deals with people. Especially with people who only think they know me.” |

Especially with people who only think they know me.” Tempest blinked, was this woman delusional? Clearly she had to be. "You must not understand.. You're not going home tonight.. You're being held here overnight." She had to be held until her trial. "You're probably going to be held without bail for assaulting me and the attempt at murder charge. You're looking at 30 years to life in Azkaban. Your family can't help you here." So really... she needed to make a deal.
Tempest took a seat and crossed her arms. "So you won't talk or make a deal? Cause if that's true you can sit in the holding cell and that's a lot less comfortable of a room, trust me." Her blue eyes weren't cold, but they didn't feel for this girl either.. She was positive Kristen Blaze was a murderer.
That was something she could never sympathize with.
"The folder isn't about just you, it's your family business and their dealings..
If you tell me about the money laundering and else is responsible I can testify that you cooperated, i can try to get them to lower your sentence."
Which wasn't something she wanted but she wanted to put the whole Blaze family behind bars.

| Yay, Hamlet! • Cathopper • Disney Fanatic • I was normal once... Kristen's facial expression did not change one bit when the woman mentioned her possible prison sentence. She let silence fall between them as she looked back down at the folder of documents about her family. As she read through the files, she was thinking about what to say next - or what she would even do to get out of this situation.
She didn't have that feeling that she was stuck in this situation, but she also didn't know what she was going to do. "I don't know anything about money laundering," she told her in the most honest voice, looking up from her reading. "Everything is this folder is news to me." Was she lying? Possibly. However, what she said following that was the complete truth: "Look, I am just a woman trying to take care of my little girl. Do you know how it feels to be a single mother?" She glanced the woman over and added, "Probably not." She could answer that question herself. "You can hold me for however long you want to," She put the closed folder back onto the desk between them as if to make a statement, "but I have no answers for you." |

Tempest was having a hard time reading this woman, but she knew enough to know that Kristen had to know which of her family members knew about the laundering. "No. I don't know anything about being a mother." Nor did she have any intention to anytime soon. But Tempest did know that most parents would do anything for their children. Children mad wonderful leverage.
"Think about your daughter. If you serve thirty years in Azkaban who'll be there for her? Lets say you don't get all of those charges" Which Tempest was sure she would. "And then there's good behavior applied... You're still looking at seven to ten years.. Do you want your daughter to go that long without her mother because you wanted to protect someone else?"

Kristen could of rolled her eyes in the back of her head as the woman continued to talk to her, but she didn't. She was trying to behave now so she could get out of here. It was SO HARD though to behave when this woman's voice annoyed her so much. "I don't deal with my family. I don't talk to them. I haven't for years. I don't know anything," she stated once more. Lying, obviously, but she was a good liar. All her family was. "If you want to put me in Askaban because I couldn't tell you information that I. Do. Not. Know. So be it." She looked down at her nails, realizing that she needed to get a manicure soon. Meh.

Tempest was very amazed by this woman's ability to live outside of reality. The fact of the matter was that talking or not wouldn't keep her out of Azkaban. She was going.. She tried to assault her and accepted payment for an assassination. The charges were ones that had concrete evidence behind them and the best lawyer on earth couldn't get out of this mess.
"You're not going away for not talking.. but if i truly don't know anything i guess it isn't your fault." She was curious what would happen to the daughter, would the court let her stay with a family member when the whole family was being investigated? Would she go into Foster care? She heard good things about that Stemp House place.

She kept her mouth quiet as she surveyed the woman then sternly said, "I'm done talking to you." She had nothing else she wanted to say to this Auror. She was sticking to the story that she knew nothing about her family's business, and that's what she would be telling any and everyone.
Now she needed to figure out how to get out of here. Surely, her father already knew she was MIA and was already planning something?

She knew the woman was going away.. The charges were stacked. It wasn't just an assault charge, it was an assault on an Auror not to mention the attempt at murder.. Point being the woman wouldn't be free for a while.
"Just don't forget that you still have the chance to co-operate."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Felix Lupin First Year | I've been given permission to double post Tempest walked up to the glass of the interrogation room. She couldn't help but watch this man.. He'd harmed innocents and risked exposing wizards.. Clearly he wasn't right mentally. Or he was just evil. Either way Taylor Morton wasn't someone she was looking forward to speaking to any more than she already had.
But she had to press on.
Stepping into the door and walking in, she kept her head high. Keeping her composure. "Mister Morton, you know what you're under arrest for i'm sure." She knew he'd been told what he was under arrest for. "And you know you're looking at life in Azkaban, but how comfortable that is really depends on how helpful you'll be. If you co-operate and tell me if there are any other portkeys out there i'll let the Wizengamot know you were cooperative." She was aware that maybe he didn't care if he was comfortable but she had to try.
"So are there other Portkeys out there?"

| Could not be played out due to RL time management. During the course of the interrogation, Taylor Morton revealed that there was one more portkey out there in Diagon Alley targeting Lynley Purcell’s son by stealing her planner and knowing exact the day of which there was a day trip planned for Wyatt and his Grandmother near Florean’s. The portkey looked like an exact replica of his teddy, which Wyatt would have with him at all times, but he picked it up regardless to inspect just as Auror Tempest Chandler got to the scene. She grabbed a hold of Wyatt and was pulled by him and the portkey to an enclosure housing a dragon (clearly meant to harm Purcell’s young son). Chandler managed to get herself and Wyatt Purcell out of harm’s way, and after she returned the son to his mother, she made official the arrest. Morton is now awaiting conviction in Azkaban. Details pending. OOC: All characters mentioned have given permission to be used in this scenario and the course of action had been discussed with RPers as to what happened; time was simply not on our side.
