What is your favorite fanon ship and why? On discussion of ships, how about those ships that existed only in fanfiction and in the dizziest daydreams of the fandom? Those ones where we saw the chemistry subtly hinted at, that mischievous subtext, on in the books or in the films that made hearts hope ship could have sailed off into eternal bliss but just never came to fruition. Here is your place to talk about those ships that never made it into canon but MERLIN sure wish they had! |
I have quite a few fanon ships that I would have looooooved to see. :x3:
And, of course, Neville/Luna was sort of canon? Almost? But they should have sailed off into the sunset together. I was SOOOO sad when they didn't end up together. *will return later to gush over these ships some more* |

I have two favorite ships. Harmione (or Harmony as us Shippers refer to it as) and I Ship Scorpius and Albus Potter too (It should have happened) Harry and Hermione have great chemistry and I support Friendships that become more. It's the same reason with Scorpius and Albus as well. |

I'm not a fan of Harmony. :whaa: To me it felt completely platonic. I can't say anything about Scorpius and Albus, though, because I haven't read the Cursed Child (I've only read a plot summary :xd:) but from what I've heard they could have happened. I have always liked the idea of Scorpius and Rose, though, but I reckon that's because of tumblr lol. |
@ Jay, I like Scorpius and Albus too! But I think Scorpius kinda deserves better because good god was Albus Severus the worst in cursed child. I ship Tom and Minerva so much and it has everything to do with some very excellent fanfics about the two at hogwarts (the timelines are all over the place now but it felt very plausible once a upon a moon). Remus & Sirius is a classic pairing and I can still feel that chemistry to this day when I reread the books or watch PoA. (“THIS HEART IS WHERE YOU LOVE, REMUS”) Oh, and it shoulda been Harry & Luna. They have chemistry. They’re both outsiders. They’ve suffered great losses and only come out stronger. Their friends mean the world to them, and she alone was able to give him real solace when Sirius died. I’m telling y’all, Larry is the real wave. :loved: |
I always thought that Luna and Neville would be a nice pair! So they definitey fit for me as well. I was honestly expecting them to get together at the end of the series. Haha. I was a bit disappointed when it didn’t happen tbh. I’m trying to think of others. I need to explore the fanon more. :upside: EDIT: Okay, I agree with Nicole there too. I adore Harry and Luna together. I can’t believe I forgot about them. Also, as much as I adore Ginny, I never was much of a Hinny lover. |

I never thought about Luna and Harry, but I love that. It would have been a great one. I think mine would be Draco and Hermione though, opposites attract whether its a good thing or not, but I think Hermione would have been good for Draco and they would have been cute together. |
Wait, I forgot to mention Dean & Luna. You’re telling me they were trapped together in draco’s dungeon and they didn’t fall in love. HoneyyyYYYYyyyy, that could have really been something. |

OMG we should talk about the CC Malfoys off of this Thread so not to go off topic |
HARRY AND LUNA. :loved: They could have been SO incredible. The perfect support system for each other. |

I really liked Neville and Luna! They were so precious. |
Neville and Luna, guys :x3: I mean... COULDN'T YOU FEEL THE CHEMISTRY WHILE READING THE BOOKS? I was so crushed when I found up they hadn't ended up together ;___; I still am... |
Listen I love Albus and Scorpius, whether or not you consider Cursed Child Also Sirius and Remus of course. Every time I think about them I get sad. And I can't believe no one has mentioned Dean and Seamus yet. As far as I'm concerned all of these ships are CANON XD. JK Rowling can't convince me they're not. |
Okay the dean and seamus made me laugh because I can picture that one so hard. I'm also very very much a fan of Draco and Hermione. Have been since day one and probably will die that way. But I think in my mind it was always a reformed Draco. |

I pretty much got on the Sirius/Remus ship fandom after seeing their embrace in the 3rd movie. Best friends, Sirius was single (even before his incarceration), handsome, and could have anyone he liked. Remus was also single.. They also grew up in the swinging sixties & loving seventies, something had to have been possible in between that time before Tonks. Not to mention the director even imagined Remus as swinging in that direction so it wasn't too far fetched of an idea. :hmm: Quote:
Dean/Seamus is a funny one, but I could see it. Seamus definitely cares for Dean, he was written to be ecstatic at the first sight of him in the DH book. Think even the actors approve of it. |
