Over the years, due to the depiction of the holiday season in both the Harry Potter movies and in the books, the Harry Potter series has started to become a part of the holiday season itself. Whether this is the time of the year that you devote some holiday baking to Harry Potter recipes, you add Harry Potter LEGO sets to your holiday wish list, or you just take advantage of the Harry Potter merchandise that's on the shelves and on sale at Black Friday my question to you is - do YOU incorporate Harry Potter into your holiday celebrations? And if so, how?!
For example - it's silly, but every year, they tend to make "advent calendars" featuring Harry Potter socks It's not only a great excuse to replenish my sock drawer, but it's fun opening each new day and seeing what Harry Potter themed pair is inside, and I always go with the HP ones!

My sister and I incorporate HP into our celebrations! Like Lissy, we did the Advent Calenders and maaan, I reiterate the whole sock thing But there have always been wonderful finds from those calendars: balloons, trinkets to stick on your clothing, tree ornaments... you just never know what you will find!
Also, each year, I'd make sure to get my sister at least one HP themed present. This year it's a snuggie
While I don't generally go out of my way to incorporate HP into the holiday season in our house, it always ends up being there somehow!! I can't resist watching it if it's currently playing during one of the Christmas movie countdowns, and with having such a close relationship now with some SSers and our exchange of gifts, there is usually one or two HP related items either sent or received! Because of the community that the series gave us here and the friendships, it's impossible for it to not manifest it's importance somewhere in this season!

Continued the tradition of having a bit of HP- related merch during the Christmas season this year! Though we didn't do advent calendars, I did get my sister a Ravenclaw makeup pallet {Ravenclaw is her House} and I got one of my friends a Hedwig plushie :3
