Ginny was going to put up a fight, but Fred changed the plan. She squirmed happily on the edge of the bed, watching Fred and George work. Suddenly, she was hit with a horrible thought. What if... she was the tester this time? The... victim. "What exactly are you making?" she asked, her eyes narrowing.

Cass walked up to the expansive grounds of Riiya's home. She reached the gates and looked up at the guards standing tall over her. "Excuse me?" she said politely "I'm here to see Riiya. Can you let me in please?" she said intimidated. These guys were huge and mean looking. "Um.... that is, if it is alright with you, She is expecting me though." Cass said clutching her luggage closer to her.

"Ummmm.." Cass thought..Riyon knew her as Reanna maybe thats how they would know who she was. "Miss Reanna please." she said hopefully. She stood up straighter and wiped the scared look off her face.

The guard eyed on this little intruder with an evil glare. He stared straight into her eyes as if to rip them off at that moment. He then knocked on the tall steel gate twice with his knuckles. CLUNK-CLUNK.

Another guard appears from the inside looking exactly the same. "qu'est-ce que c'est?"
*trans: what is it?*

He eyes down on Cassandra, listening to the outside guard. "cette petite fille doit ici visiter Mlle Reanna. Vérifiez avec le directeur à l'intérieur."
*trans: this little girl is here to visit miss Reanna. Check with the manager inside.*

The inside guard walks towards a small shed by the side. there was sounds of mubble and a few minutes later, he walks out and bangs the steel gate very hard, shaking it. The outside guard eyed evilly at Cassandra and shouted, "No such planne. Go Ai-way Little Gerl!!"

He took a step closer to Cassandra making her step away almost immediately.

Just then, there was a sudden shout from the hut. It sounded like a girl's voice. "Non! Non! Faites-la entrer! Elle est mon ami."

THe two guards looked at each other. The guard inside knocked on the steel gate three times. CLONK-CLONK-CLONK.

As Cassandra looked up at the gate, she jumped back, hearing a loud click. A smaller gate from the huge gate opened; the size of Cassandra herself.

"Enter." the guard said disappointedly.

As cassandra gawked at the length of the three football fielded driveway, an Antique Black car drove towards the gate from the house. It stopped right next to Cassandra. A Chauffeur came out of the car and ushered her to enter, helping her take her bag and placing it in the trunk. When everything was ready, the elderly chauffeur drove up towards the mansion. "Who iz it you are zeeing, Madamoiselle?" he asked.

Cass just stared in awe at everything. She refrained from giving the guards a smug look and stepped into the car. "Miss Reanna sir." She said giving the driver a warm smile and stared out the window looking at everything around her. As they pulled up Cass didnt wait for the driver to open the door she bounded out and almost tackled Riiya in a big hug. "How is my twinie doing this fine morning? You know your guards look like monkeys?" she said talking fast and bouncing up and down a little bit. She was so excited to be there and everything was new to her.

The Chauffeur got out of the car and smiled, watching his mistress smilling. He walked towards the boot to take Cass's bag out.

Riiya smiled. After waiting for 4 minutes as her best friend was driven to the front stairs, Riiya was more than happy to receive Cass's hug. A tear flowed down her eyes and she shouted back in excitement. "Im so happy you made it, Cass! How was your plane ride??"

Realizing Cass's comment about her guards, Riiya giggled to herself. She too thought they were a tad...wild..

"Oh my gosh! The plane ride was soooooo cool. I stared out the window the whole time and looked at everything we were passing...I guess im lucky I dont get nauseous on planes." she said with a laugh. Giving Riiya another hug "Gah I really missed you!" then pulling away she said with a smile. "I'm not gonna get dragged away for touching 'Miss Reanna' am I" she said giving a mock bow and laughing. She refrained from doing cartwheels remembering what Riiya had told her about her family and decided against it. Instead she took Riiya's hand and started dragging her. "You must show me absolutely everything. This place is gorgeous!" she said excitedly.

"i highly doubt it."
Riiya giggled happily at Cass as she looked excited. She was extremely glad that Cass liked her house. It wasn't much to her, but to see her best friend excited, it was like her first time in her own house too!

Riiya was about to say something, when Cass pulled her into the house. "a-a! wait- wait. Les sacs de Mlle s'il vous plaît mise Cassandra dans ma pièce- aah!" she said before Cass gave her a last hard tug.

*translease put Miss Cassandra's bags in my room.*

After finally keeping her balance, Riiya said, "you're lucky my grandmama and my aunts are not around. I really dont want you to feel their rath too soon," with a giggle.

"okay! firstly. this is the entrance hall. its as big as a football field i know, but its a place where guest minggle when they arrive before they enter the ball room. Ohh!" She ran to the utmost left and said, "this is the Main Ballroom."

She lets go off Cass's arm and pushed the door open.

she smiled and turned to Cass to see her reaction. "we can fit up to...1,240 guests. not much compared to Lady Zeialle from next town, but don't say that to anyone else."

Cass started giggling as she mentioned her grandmother. "Hehe yeah i figured that so I refrained from doing cartwheels" she said with a wink. As she followed Riiya through the doors of the ballroom her mouth dropped. "Duuuuuude." she whispered..."whoa. Only 1,240 golly." she said looking around. She walked inside. "Who are in all the portraits?" she said pointing to the pictures surrounding the hall.

"oh those? This is what we call Pièce de Fierté. It means Room of Male Pride. the whole house is filled with female potrait. so to keep the male morale up, they have potraits of past male that made a significant change in the Delacour Family. or in non-pride terms, its just whoever who catches my grandmama's eyes. my step father's potrait is that one."

Riiya pointed at a potrait 12th from the right. "He got up there a year after he married my mother. which to this family, it's quite quick. He got there because he's a politician for France. Oh. another fact. All of them are Muggle only. Delacour tries to avoid marrying Wizards. another pride reason. but i think its stupid."

Riiya walked to the center of the ballroom and swirled around. "when i first came to the Manor, i wanted so much to dance in this hall. But i couldn't. I was the black sheep. they wanted to keep me invisible from others. But after mom persuaded grandmama, i was attending ball after ball last year. I never get tired of it. So many beautiful gowns, so many weird looking muggles and wizards! and everyone is super nice."

"Thats coolness." she said staring at the pictures. "Yeah I can picture how gorgeous this place is, packed with people, everyone dancing and talking." she said twirling around the place. "Hehe I wish Jimmy was here, he'd dance with me." she said spinning around taking in the scene. "It sounds like alot of fun. I've never really been to a ball, I've been to a few dances but nothing extravagant like what would go on here." she said still in awe and staring at the chandelier.

"...i have to admit. after attending Delacour Balls, anything after that is boring to me...goodness!" Riiya said in shock. "i sound so snooty! i'm...so sorry Cass

Cass started laughing. "Hahahaha nope you dont sound snotty at all" she said with a wink. "I can totally understand. Nothing would compare to this. When is the next ball? Am I still going to be here for it? Would I get to attend?" she said rambling questions off excitedly.

"oh. i wouldn't know, sorry. I'm normally informed the last minute...like 6 hours before, last minute. I think they were planning to make me come late, but I have good sources and help," Riiya winked.

"okay enough of this. lets go to the next part of the tour in Delacour Manor."
Riiya tugged Cass's arm. They walked out of the ballroom. Riiya then shouted, "fermez la porte, s'il vous plaît," with a grin.

The Huge Golden Ballroom door slowly swung back to its original closed position, followed by a soft boom.

she waited for Cass's reply to that.

Cass laughed and then gave a small jump as the door closed behind them. "Whoa!" she said "Did that door just close on its own?" Cass said as she looked up looking for guards that closed the doors...."that's soooo cool. Does every piece of furniture you have do what you ask it too? Like in beauty and the Beast?" Cass asked curiously looking for something to boss around.

Riiya giggled in happiness. "yes, it did close on its own . the house is inchanted. its been here for centuries, so im not surprised if it has a trap door somewhere...erm..w-what's Beauty And The Beast?" Riiya asked shamefully.

Even when she lived with muggles almost all her life before, she doesn't know much about the muggle world. the confinements of the Circus tents was all that she could stay.

Cass smiled and linked her arm with Riiya's "Well Beauty and the Beast is a movie my mother enjoyed when she was a little girl and I love it too. Its a story where the servants of the house are put under a spell and made into furniture and things like that and they talk, and move. Its really coolness." Cass said remembering the movie...suddenly in the mood to watch it. "Like the maid becomes a walking feather duster and the butler's become a clock and a candlestick. Its very cute." Cass said laughing and looking around. "So, where to next?" Cass asked curiously.

"oh. sounds like transfiguration gone wrong to me " Riiya gleefully replied. "better dont suggest that to anyone here, " Riiya giggled.

She tugged Cass to the utmost right now. "this is Terrain de Connaissance. our study slash library. its actually 3/4 size of the ballroom except that its parted into 4 sections. Minor section; which is for 16 and below, Classy section; for the males, Elegant Section; for the females, and lastly the Royal Section; for the elderly and members of the Family Committee...yea," Riiya answered as Cass opened her mouth. "We have a Family Committee. Its because our family is too huge. By right, i'm suppose to be in the committee under the Younglings, but you know how they are to me. so, instead, my cousin who's only twelve is takes over. My twin steps never fail to remind me...but, one more year and i'm off the Youngling Line! "

Riiya shook her head. "okay back to the tour. before we enter the study room, i want to show you the potraits here. this one is my greatgreat aunt, Mademoiselle Friette Delacour." she said. The potrait seemed elegant enough. It has a gold flame. The potrait was a woman in her 30s' wearing a beautiful red gown standing next to an empty chair in (what seemed to be) the Ballroom Hall, except that the entire set up was in black instead of white.

"im not sure why theres an empty chair, but her being single her whole life must be the reason " Riiya snickered evilly.

"and this one," she gestured to Cass. "this is Mademoiselle Aviettella Soir Delcaour. Another Great aunt. she's a high class woman. my mother explained that she could manipulate any man to do her bidding - a natural trait for Delacours, especially because we're Veelas - but apparently, she only manipulated a gardener to find her favourite flower and plant them here. It only comes out at night during the full moon. and it gives out a sweet scent for days."

Riiya clasps her hands looking at Cass. she wondered what she thought of her family so far...

"Wow, this is so cool!" Cass said looking around. She started laughing when Riiya mentioned the Veela powers and manipulating men. "Hehe is seems women are really good at that in general, must be alot of fun being a veela though. You should use those charms to manipulate Riyon." She said with a smirk. "How come its only on full moons though? Is it like with tides? the pull of the moon effects Veelas?"

"R-riyon???" Riiya said in shock. Her cheeks turned red. there was a sudden flash. she imagined sturdy Riyon wearing an army uniform holding a scary huge gun shooting everything on site, until of course Riiya comes along and gives him a flying kiss, and he drops his guns and starts running to her as if love struck. he then stands on his knees as if he was knighted.....

"chigai-chigai!" she said shaking her head at the thought of it. Riiya opened her eyes and saw Cass staring at her with a half grin and half shock expression.
"er-er-, full moon? Veela? oh no. t-thats impossible. Veela charm works since they're born. a young Veela can manipulate for about 5 minutes, sometimes and hour. plus, their attractions towards the males are random. but once they pass a mature age, they can charm almost anyone at anytime. they can control their charm and manipulation. lets say for example theres 10 men in a room. a mature Veela can target one and attract him and only him. i mean in general every man goes gawky around mature veelas. but to control one is another matter....i..on the other hand, am under the young Veela, although im already old enough. i dunno. either i have the charm but am repressing it subconciously or i just am a late bloomer. either way, i dont want to use them. it kills free will to my opinion."

Riiya turns and points to the other two potraits at the left side of the hall. "that one is Mademoiselle Braille Delacour. She's evil to my opinion. but grandmama praises her. She's had 38 husbands. apparently she marries them and they suddenly die just before the next year."

She refered to a potrait of a blonde haired woman with sharp green eyes. she was wearing a black long dress that looked like it was worn to a funeral. the background was a greenhouse. she was also holding an antique scissors, about to cut of a red rose from a lonely pot. However when you stand at another angle, the scissors changes into a black long wand and the the fresh rose was now in exploded petals.

"and that one is Mademoiselle Anastasia Delacour. her father was a Russian wizard. oh, she's one of my favorites . she loved to dance all kinds of dance and does it well. she also the good in Charms and was offered to help open a magic school in france but turned it down to raise her adopted Veela child she found when travelling. she died old and happy with 5 grandchildrens. mother said i inherrited a little of her personality of being too kind to the workers here in the manor."

This woman looked the most beautiful among the four in the hallway (though you wonder how can that be possible). Mademoiselle Anastasia was wearing a blue ball gown with beautiful diamond tiara that held her blonde hair up. with her in the potrait is a 12 year old girl wearing the exact blue ball gown. both of them are smiling and dancing together. Mademoiselle Anastasia looked almost too young to have a child that seemed like she was 12 years old.The background was a Ballroom event. Just looking at her made you feel as if hopes of finding love and happiness was possible, even to the non-believers.

Riiya took a step back wondering about what Cass had said earlier about the full moon. she didn't understand why she felt so...disturbed at the exact words...full moon...her eyes wondered up at the ceiling of diamond Chandeliers. Why did she mention it? I..I don't want to hear the word. i feel disgusted at the word...but...I feel...as if i want to see it...I dont...understand.

"Wow" Cass said listening. "I think that would be interesting to have but I wouldn't want a guy to like me because I has special powers of some kind." Cass said giving her a smile. "Sounds a little tough." Cass said looking at the portraits. "What were you thinking about just then a little while ago, you got this weird look on your face and shook your head." Cass said imitating Riiya's expression.

"hm? nani? oh. when? oh-oh." Riiya slowly regained her memory. her cheeks turned pink. "n-nothing. lets move on." she pulled cass so hard, it felt like a little more harder and it could have come off.

Riiya brought Cass to the door of the study room. "ouvrez la porte, s'il vous plaît."

The door swings opens slowly, revealing a magnificent room. a gust of strong aura blew out of the room. it wasn't distinct. Cass feels this invisible breeze and yet wonder why Riiya was not taken aback by it as she did. The two girls enter the room.

It felt like a royal study room. books mounted on shelves that touched the ceiling. oak wood study table with big arm chairs were laid so neatly, you couldn't believe it was possible place such an amount. the ceiling was painted in deep orange and the wooded floor was carpeted grandly in warm red. in the middle, there was a fireplace. its not lit yet. on the left, theres another huge door.

Riiya walks towards it and says, "ouvrez la porte, s'il vous plaît. Et le reste de cela aussi."

THUMP-THUMP-THUMP. three huge wooden doors swung open revealing another room..and another and another. from a distance it was already clear which ones were for minors, Elagent, and Royal. obviously the one they were in was the Classy one.

The next room was similar, only it was off-white/cream walls with cream wood bookshelves mounted with books. The desks howver were made out of a substance that could not have been glass nor plastic. chairs looked so unique in their design, it made the room feel...Elagant.

The following room was in bright green. and the last room was in Royal Blue - perfect fit for the Royal Room indeed. The chairs in the Royal room looked as if it was stolen from the English Monarchy itself. so grand and so...Royal. Desks were alighned in a circle followed by the chairs.

The Minor Room however had desks lined a body away from each other - one on the left and one on the right. the middle however had 15 beanie bags of pink, light blue and white with small side tables next to each other that had a bowl of sweets and an unturned tea cup.

"would you like to look at the other study rooms Cass?" Riiya asked as Cass peered through the door as if eager to enter, but afraid to do so.

Cass just gave Riiya a curious smirk....she'd ask her again later. Cass jumped as another door opened itself and then followed by the others. "Wow, I don't think I'll get used to that" she said smiling and then staring around in amazement. "Whoa, what was that breeze, did you feel that just now?" Her eyes wandered everywhere, taking it all in. And then all the sudden the other doors swing open expanding the room more. Cass is almost afraid to step in for fear of being scolded so she settles for more staring. Cass turns to Riiya and just nods. She can't say anything its to awesome.

Riiya had a feeling she needed to give her the right push. So, she did. Riiya placed her gentle palm on Cass's back and pushed her in. Cass pushed back at first but soon realized she might as well take a look inside.

Riiya held her hands together, watching Cass's curious personality as it kicked in by the entrance door.

"My favorite is the Minor Room. Go ahead " Riiya walked slowly behind as Cass ran in as if a small girl in a zoo for the first time.
