Here we go! ::::

Note: We will be starting right as the train is about to leave. So start out by getting on the train and finding a compartment! =] Jess

I kissed my mother and father's cheeks. I sat my trunk down beside the wall where other trunks were at. As soon as I blinked they were gone. They probably apparated. My name is Vanessa Campbell. I've just moved from Beaubaxtons to come here to Hogwarts. This will be my 6th year. I hope I make some new friends.

I sighed and walked onto the train. There were little rooms called compartments. I guessed after I heard a child ask which one to go in. I looked around and found an empty compartment. I sat down by the window and looked around at all the other people coming onboard. Who knows I might be friends with one of them.

As i picked up my possesions I turned to gran and kissed her on the cheek. For some reason i felt this year would be different.

I turned away and stepped on the train. I better find Luna or Harry. I began to pace through the train peering into each compartment searching for familiar faces. Alot of new students, I thought.

After realizing that my friends have yet to arrived I settled into a semi- empty compartment. Inside sat a young girl, with black, hair and dark eyes. Actually quite cute. It appeared to me that she may have been nervous.

"hi" i said sheepishly, barely looking at her as i sat across her.

"Neville!" Luna smiled dreamily and sat down next to him. "How was your summer? Oh, who are you? Nice to meet you. My name is Luna." She offered her pale hand at the new girl.

I whipped my head around to see a brown haired boy and blonde haired girl. "Hello." I said. "Oh my names Vanessa Campbell, I just transferred here from Beauxbatons Academy." I then took the blonde haired girls hand and shook it.

"Mmhmm." Luna smiled dreamily, brushing Vanessa's hair to the right. "Some Nargles, but you're fine. Quibbler?" She held up a newspaper. "It's new." She grinned.

"Let's be good friends, Vanessa!" She smiled.

I don't think I've ever heard of Nargles, but I guess I'll go with it. This girl was pretty straight-forward. "Oh, yea, Nargles, mhmm." I said confused. "Oh sure I would love a Quibbler and I would love to be friends but If you don't mind what's both of your names?" I asked.

"Luna! i've been looking for you. Ready for anoher year of DA?" said Neville, suddenly excited.

"Oh...My name is Luna Lovegood, but people also call me Loony. I don't mind, though." She smiled and handed Vanessa a Quibbler.

"Why of course, Neville!" She grinned. "DA is always fun."

neville looked again at Vanessa. "Erm, Im Neville. Neville Longbottom." In his head he was still thinking about Da and thinking of what this year would bring.

I tilted my head to the side. "What is DA?" I asked confused. "Oh and you must be the famous Luna Lovegood who's dad makes the Quibbler am I right? Oh and you, Neville, had parents, oh sorry I shouldn't bring this up, but I've read all about you two! Wait is it true that Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger go here?" I asked excitedly.

Nicky looked through the compartments and found Neville and Luna with some girl she didn't recognize. She opened the compartment door and greeted Neville and Luna.

"Hi Neville, Luna," said Nicky, "who's this."

"yuup, youre right. Actually they are good friends of ours." said Neville. "they should be here soon."Then he nonchalantly said "Its okay about my parents. Im used to it, and it was a while back. and on a lighter note DA is a secret organization. I can't tell you too much though. we'll see where you get sorted too." and he cracked a slight smile

"Oh hello my name's Vanessa Campbell. I'm transferred here from Beauxbatons Academy." I said smiling.

"Wow I can't wait to meet them! Oh okay." I said smiling back at him kind of confused.

"Hello Vanessa, I am Nicky," said Nicky as she held out her hand to greet the newcomer.

I shook her hand and then cleared my throat. "So should I know anyone I should stay away from?" I asked.

"Depends on what house you are sorted into," said Nicky, "I am in Slytherin."

I nodded my head. "Well do you think there is anyone really mean who I should stay away from?" I asked.

"well stay clear of Draco Malfoy. Hes bad news wether youre a slytherin or not. Snape who teaches DADA can be tough. And if youre a night wanderer steer clear of Filch and Ms.Norris" Stated Neville, shyly.

I nodded my head. "Thanks. Can you show me this Draco Malfoy?" I asked.

neville looked out the windows of the train, as it has not yet left platform 9 3/4. He scanned the crowd for the face of Draco Malfoy. "Well he might not be here yet but, he has blonde hair, is my height and skinny. When you see him. You'll know its him." said Neville. "Hes usually with his two lankys."

I giggled. "Okay. Thanks by the way." I said.
