A generation after the defeat of the Dark Lord, the Wizarding World is starting to feel safe once again. Life goes on, children are born, and several rounds of these children have come and gone from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The professors have prepared for another calm year, but little do they know that someone within their ranks is posed to upset everything.

The year is 2037, and it has been 40 years since Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This RP will take place from the professors’ point of view, and I’d like to fill up as many roles as we want to before we start. After we’re set on who is playing who, we’ll fill the rest of the roles with names so we can all refer to the same people. References to canon characters are acceptable, although HP and co. would be almost 60 in this RP and Snape and co. would be over 80. Please provide as complete a history as possible for your characters, although the fact that this RP is for advanced players only means there is leeway for you knowing more about your character than you want to share at this time. Character secrets are great and encouraged.

Please PM me or MSN me if you are interested in joining, but a warning: all the RPers are advanced, mature members of this site who are prepared to devote time and enthusiasm to this RP. If you don’t feel you can post an adult character with good character development, post frequently daily and usually in the EST evening, or write involved posts that are grammatically correct and well-written, then please don’t sign up. We’re serious RPers and we get cranky easily. Some of us even bite.

'I don't know Bebe,' he shrugged, a small wry laugh escaping him. 'Things have been building and I can't help but think they're going to get alot worse before they get better.' He shrugged. 'The wards around that platform have never been affected before. Not even in the bombings. Someone did that.' He looked concerned. And these were the people he was associated with, for better or worse. He sighed and shook his head. It was starting to beome apparant that he had gotten into something he didn't fully understand.

"I know... I could tell it wasn't some muggle construction thing today when we got there. What kind of people would mess with the children? It's one thing to go after adults, but children?" Bebe shivered at the thought, but was actually quite pleased with how well she talking to this particular man.

Cole held Wei tight as he apparated back to the front gate at Hogwarts. He wished he could apparate directly to her quarters rather than walk past any students, but safety measure put on the school were far more important, he supposed. Nothing felt more important than the woman in his arms at that moment, but he didn't suppose Enora would agree. He carried her into the castle, glad the feast was still underway, before settling her into the bed they'd shared in their quarters. Her rooms were too far away, and... he wanted her here.

They walked towards the lake but Mark veered them away across teh lawns. 'Look Bebe,' he began, rolling his eyes at the nervous feeling settled in his stomach. 'Want to have dinner with me some night?' He grinned sheepishly. 'Make up for the other day.'

'Thank you,' she murmured, pulling the blankets tight around her. Warmth began to slowly build, and lying here surrounded by the smell of him, Wei began to relax. Her eyes closed as she fell into a light sleep.

Nervous Bebe was back. She closed her eyes and thought. "Yes..," she said slowly, struggling with her words overcoming her nervousness. "Just don't let me drink again. Ever. No offense, though," she added quickly, hoping she hadn't just blown it.

"That sounds perfect. Merlin knows, someone like me needs a drink to be theirself. It's just a matter of finding that middle ground." Bebe was blabbing. She didn't know what she was talking about or why she was even attempting to talk at all. "Tomorrow, night?"

'Sounds good to me. I'll come find you at seven?' He grinned, genuinely looking forward to this, date he supposed was the word for it. 'It had been years since he'd had a date, and surprisingly he was looking forward to it.

Stopping at a rock, Mark sat down, pulling Bebe gently towards him. 'Sit for a bit,' he suggested. Tell me about your summer.

"Oh.. I spent another summer with muggles. Living amongst them. Nothing special really," Bebe said, fiddling with the collar of her robes. "Look... I have to ask something. Well, I don't have to, but I'm going to." Bebe stop rambling, she scolded herself. "You're doing this just because of the other night, are you? I don't hold you accountable, so don't feel you owe me anything...," Bebe finished, quietly.

He leaned sideways smiling and dunting her slightly with his shoulder. 'I'm doing this beause I want to Bebe. I want to go to dinner with you, and have a nice time. Get to know you a bit better.' He slipped an arm around her waist, tentitivly in case she wanted to withdraw. 'I wouldn't have asked otherwise. Trust me.'

Aria watched the sorting smiling encouragingly at the new students. She watched as Mark left with Bebe, then moved and sat by Ricky. She reached for his hand under the table away from prying eyes of nosy kids. She smiled up at him. "The hall looks great. You did a really good job." she told him.

Bebe could have melted right there on that rock. Whatever pep talk she had given herself to talk herself out of Mark Soloway.. had been completely forgotten. The butterflies were throwing a party in her stomach, but all Bebe managed was an excited nod. "Okay. I trust you."

Warrick gave a little start when Aria reached for his hand and spoke to him. He had let his mind wander during the sorting, as it always did. The sorting never meant much to him, troublesome kids were troublesome kids, no matter which house they were put in.

He smiled down at her and rubbed her palm with his thumb. "Thank you, but the house elves helped a bit. Quite a bit actually." He noticed Mark and Bebe had left, he glanced down the table and didn't see either of them. Everyone deserved a second chance.....didn't they? But if he hurt her again.....

"When is your first class, Aria? Do you have everything ready, or do you need me to slip down into Hogsmede?"

Aria smiled at him. "Well then maybe I should leave and thank the house elves." she said with a smirk. "My first class starts a couple days from now actually and all I have left is to prepare the animals. But that should not be to difficult. They love me." she said with a laugh. "I wouldn't turn down a trip to Hogsmeade though later. How about after we get the kids settled in and taken care of, we head out?" Aria asked playing her fingers along his palm.

Cole knew he should go down to the feast, but there was nothing in the world that would take him away from Wei when she was trembling and vulnerable. He undressed and crawled into the bed beside her.

He wasn't going to dignify any of her references to his deficiencies as deputy headmaster with a response however, her wanting him to call her by her first name was ludicrous. "I don't feel I know you well enough to call you by your first name, Professor Granger," he said.
