A generation after the defeat of the Dark Lord, the Wizarding World is starting to feel safe once again. Life goes on, children are born, and several rounds of these children have come and gone from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The professors have prepared for another calm year, but little do they know that someone within their ranks is posed to upset everything.

The year is 2037, and it has been 40 years since Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This RP will take place from the professors’ point of view, and I’d like to fill up as many roles as we want to before we start. After we’re set on who is playing who, we’ll fill the rest of the roles with names so we can all refer to the same people. References to canon characters are acceptable, although HP and co. would be almost 60 in this RP and Snape and co. would be over 80. Please provide as complete a history as possible for your characters, although the fact that this RP is for advanced players only means there is leeway for you knowing more about your character than you want to share at this time. Character secrets are great and encouraged.

Please PM me or MSN me if you are interested in joining, but a warning: all the RPers are advanced, mature members of this site who are prepared to devote time and enthusiasm to this RP. If you don’t feel you can post an adult character with good character development, post frequently daily and usually in the EST evening, or write involved posts that are grammatically correct and well-written, then please don’t sign up. We’re serious RPers and we get cranky easily. Some of us even bite.

"Oh, we could repair the wards easily, but we don't have the resources on hand to deal with all the Muggles who've seen that platform and will notice if it suddenly disappears again." She looked up to see Bebe arrive, letting them know students were arriving. "We need to find a place for them to gather where they won't be conspicous. How are we getting them to Hogwarts? The Knight Bus?"

Nikita nodded as her thoughts drifted to Cole. She was standing in his wife's house... and she just.. couldn't bring herself to tell Wei. But the fact that they were working together now convinced her that she needed to tell Wei. She was, after all, his wife.

She walked over to the fireplace and nodded. "Wei.. I care about you as a co-worker and for our purpose in the school enough that I need to tell you something about Cole...", she said in a faint voice. Her eyes shifted in a saddened glance as she feared Wei's looks. "During summer... he told me he was getting a divorce... I had just suffered a loss in my family and he took advantage of that.. he told me I needed.. a friend", she said as tears were strolling down her cheeks. This was certainly embarassing, but Wei had to know.

"And... we kissed.. many times.. It was then when I realized that he was using me and I ran away to Africa... I'm so sorry Wei... but you had to know...", she said as she moved her hands to cover her teary eyes.

Wei went rigid, her eyes on the woman in front of her. She had expected something like this. Cole was sure to have had a liason or two during their seperation. But to have it confirmed like this. She shook her head, Closing her eyes for a moment. 'And you never-' Wei stopped. 'It never went further than kissing?' This she needed to know, however much it hurt.

She looked down into the fireplace waiting for the womans answer. The rest of the rubbish she could ignore. Wei knew Cole, knew him enough to know that he wuldn't have taken advantage of anyone. If Nikita wanted to remove herself from blame, that was her affair, but it didn't affect Wei.

Aria wasn't sure what they could do...."The knight bus would work or maybe trying to activate a couple of portkeys to land them outside the gates of Hogwarts." She thought for a minute..."We could try to apparate with a couple of them...like take turns or something." Aria said with a shrug. "I'll need to get the threstrals ready for the children when we need them."

"In London, it would seem the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley would be the safest places for the children to congregate. Fewer muggles around to ask quetions. The Knight Buses could pick them up there, and we could arrange for a special floos to be set up at the pub and some of the stores. Aparation is one option, but it would require alot of organization and people to make it work properly. If we do that, Aria, and I should return to Hogwarts to be available when students start arriving at the gates." Nicky looks in the direction of Ana. She is after all leader of this expedition. Her opinion is the one that carries the most weight.

Bebe looked around. "There's another student," Bebe said, waving her over. But... a small crash made the group look the barrier. A brick.. had fallen out. A single brick, leaving a rectangular space now laid on the floor of King's Cross. "That's.. really...," but before Bebe finished, another brick fell. Then another. "The wall.. Ana quick, stop the wall!" Meanwhile, Bebe handed the few congregating students off to Aria while she thought hard of a Muggle distraction.

The only Bebe could think of.. would greatly embarrass her later, but desperate times called for desperate measures. With a quick wave of her wand, Bebe's stomach blew up three times its normal size. "Nicky!" Bebe screamed at the top of her lungs. "He's coming! The baby is coming right this minute!!" Bebe fell into his arms, whispering," Just go with it. I'm sorry." Then she gave a yelp of pain, "Ohhhh.. the baby is coming!"

Nicky hears a noise and notices the bricks starting to fall from the barrier. If this kept up all of the platform would be exposed to the muggle world. He takes out his wand trying desperately to think of a spell that would halt the progress. Before he can do anything, Nicky hears Bebe crying out in pain. He thinks she must be caught in the archway and looks in that direction. No Bebe, then she says he's coming, the baby coming any minute. "Baby, what baby?" Nicky finds Bebe and notices her stomach is three times it's normal size. "Right, he's coming." Nicky helps Bebe down on the ground and runs to the conductor. "I need your help. My wife's gone into labor." Then Nicky yells at the top of his lungs, "is there a doctor in the station. My wife's having a baby!" With those words every muggle's eyes turned in their direction. Nicky runs back to Bebe and kneels down beside her. "Now just take it easy, darling. Help is on the way. Just try to breath naturally. Where is a doctor. This is our fourth child. The last one came so fast we hardly had time to get to the hospital." About that time five muggle women come over and form a circle around them. They offer advice and comfort to the young couple.

Ana was shocked that Bebe would willingly take that kind of attention onto herself. The least she could do was stop the fall of bricks quickly before anyone noticed or got hurt. She eyed the wall before casting a quick, "Immobulous." The falling bricks stopped in midair and some hung from the wall itself. "Reparo," and the bricks flew back into place. That was a temporary fix, but surely something could be done to keep the wall from moving anymore.

Nicky raises Bebe up putting her head and shoulders in his lap. He whispers in her ear, "I hope you've thought this out. What happens when the baby's suppose to arrive?"

Aria gathered the children to her and tried to refrain from laughing as Bebe made herself "pregnant" and watched the crowd gather around her. It was so unBebe that it was quite funny. As Ana repaired the bricks she stared at the crowds that had gathered.. "Um..Thank you we'll be here all week." Aria quickly gathered the students and ushered them to the other side of the archway before following after them.

"Ohhh...ahhhhhhhh," Bebe moaned. The truth.. she hadn't thought it out. But, Bebe was a muggle expert. She knew she'd think something up. She'd been around enough pregnant muggles. "Oh...," she looked to Ana, briefly, making sure the coast was clear. "False alarm. False alarm. Maybe indegestion. Just need some fresh air." Bebe patted Nicky affectionately, just like any Muggle mother to be would, and waited for him to help her up.

The muggles, however slightly disappointed, started to disband and lose interest. Just like Bebe knew they would. "See? It worked," she whispered.

Nicky starts panting himself. Bebe's performance seems so real to him. Then she announces it's all a false alarm. Nicky helps his very pregnant wife up. "Now you sure, darling. You know you said it was just a false alarm with Andre, and I had to deliver him in the back seat of the car myself. Maybe you should sit down on that bench over there." Nicky makes a bench appear near the entrance to 9 3/4. "Rest for a while and see if the contractions decide to start up again."

Nikita lifted her eyes slowly, ashamed at the fact that it had happened. "No, nothing further than that", she said in a hushed tone. "It was.. starting to get serious.. and I left as soon as I could", she added. At least that much was true. Cole and Nikita had been going on dates frequently, which freaked her out. Her reaction was to run before anything else happened, which she did when she set course to Africa.

Her eyes lingered on Wei.. wondering if there was anything else.. if she was mad at her or Cole.. Or if she wanted no part of it. As she waited, she dried her tears with her hands.

With the Muggles all starting to move away, talking amongst themselves again, Bebe started to feel the rush of embarrassment over what she had just done. Clinging to Nicky's arm, she took a seat on the bench. "I am so sorry for just throwing that at you."

Nicky patted Bebe's arm as he sat next to her. "Not at all I thoroughly enjoyed being your husband even if it was just for a few minutes. It was an excellent diversion. My complements on your quick thinking." Nicky looks around and sees Aria has taken care of the students. "When this is all over could I interest you in a cup of tea or cocoa? I'd love to hear more about English muggles. You seem to know alot about them."

Bebe took a look around. All the muggles that had paid them any attention during all the ruckus had all disappeared. Diescretely, she put her wand to her stomach and deflated it. "I live with Muggles every chance I get. They're so naive. I find it fascinating. And cocoa.. would be nice." Bebe blushed three shades of red before tucking her wand away. "We should probably go help the others now."

Nicky is enjoying their time together and hates to see it end. "I guess your right Aria will need help with the students, and we'd better check in with Ana. Is she always so bossy, or does she just not like me? I think I may have ruffled her tail feathers back at Hogwarts." Nicky helps his former wife up, and together they walk over to where Ana is standing.

Why she was relieved at the news Wei couldn't exactly say. But she was. She nodded, stepping closer to the fire and stopped. 'I'm sure you'll understand that I don't want to talk about what hapened between you and my husband just right now,' she said quietly and stepped into the fire. Back in her rooms she busied herself to one side of the room, hoping that the woman would take the hint and leave her alone to think.

Nikita nodded as she grabbed some of the floo powder. Throwing it into the fire, she was soon at Wei's office. "Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with..", she said in a soft voice as she hurried out of Wei's office. She closed the door quietly and started to walk to her own office.. There would still be some time before the students arrived.

She quickened her pace as she passed the Great Hall and slowed down once more when she was near her office. Feeling slightly better from telling, she sat down by the window and stared outside at the beautiful landscape.. Wondering if Wei would forgive Cole.. and if Cole would really stay with Wei.

Wei waited, toying with the binding of her journal for several minutes. She had no right to feel this way really, but something sparked in Wei. This was a challenge. Why Nikita thought she'd be able to take Cole from her Wei couldn't fathom, but thats what her little outburst had been about. Wei was sure of it.

She closed the book sharply, turning around. He was her husband, and she was all the woman he needed. If Nikita thought she could take him- Wei brushed her hair back, straightening herself up. She changed her blouse, dusty from the floo and set off to find him. This needed to be straightened out. Now.

The staff room was empty. He wasn't in the great hall, his office or his class. She wandered out into the grounds but there was no sign. Almost as a last resort she checked the kitchens. 'Couldn't wait for dinner?' she asked, watching him eating a sandwich.

Cole held his sandwich up for her to examine before taking another bite. "I was hungry," he shrugged and washed the bite down with some pumpkin juice. "I've been moving furniture and ordering house elves and arriving students around like mad. And it's ages until dinner, and I'm hungry. Sit down and have some tart. You know you fancy a sweet, so you might as well have some."

She shrugged, letting the door swing closed behind her and moved over to the table. Wei took a seat on the end of the table, pulling a pie towards her and lifting a fork. 'I was talking to Nikita,' she commented after a forkful, her eyes watching him intently. She reached down for another piece, licking the last bits of apple from the corner of her mouth.

Cole nodded and set down his sandwich as he finished chewing. "I was going to tell you when it was clear we might be able to reconcile, and then the whole thing with James came up. Nothing happened if that makes it any better. I was lonely and we went on a few dates. It was clear to me that she wasn't... right for me, but she left for Africa. We never resolved anything, and I thought it was over. I"m not sure if she did."

Wei nodded, glancing down and thought of a response over her apple pie. It was as she had expected. Clearly Nikita was slightly unbalanced, or she still wanted Wei for herself. Wei suspected the latter. 'And if we were to reconcile,' she eyed him closely. 'You wouldn't be tempted to,' she paused searching for the right word, 'persue her any further? In any way?' She put her fork down, resting a chin on one hand.

"You know the answer to that," Cole picked up his sandwich again. "We'd be reconciled right now, but you're still feeling all guilty about the James thing. I can't hold that against you after going out with Kita a few times. As long as you're willing to forgive yourself, I don't see why you can't just... move right back in." He must be feeling oddly reckless, because they had only talked about taking it slow and he was clearly jumping the gun.
