A generation after the defeat of the Dark Lord, the Wizarding World is starting to feel safe once again. Life goes on, children are born, and several rounds of these children have come and gone from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The professors have prepared for another calm year, but little do they know that someone within their ranks is posed to upset everything.

The year is 2037, and it has been 40 years since Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This RP will take place from the professors’ point of view, and I’d like to fill up as many roles as we want to before we start. After we’re set on who is playing who, we’ll fill the rest of the roles with names so we can all refer to the same people. References to canon characters are acceptable, although HP and co. would be almost 60 in this RP and Snape and co. would be over 80. Please provide as complete a history as possible for your characters, although the fact that this RP is for advanced players only means there is leeway for you knowing more about your character than you want to share at this time. Character secrets are great and encouraged.

Please PM me or MSN me if you are interested in joining, but a warning: all the RPers are advanced, mature members of this site who are prepared to devote time and enthusiasm to this RP. If you don’t feel you can post an adult character with good character development, post frequently daily and usually in the EST evening, or write involved posts that are grammatically correct and well-written, then please don’t sign up. We’re serious RPers and we get cranky easily. Some of us even bite.

In an effort to forestall another awkward silence and make an effort to get to know one of his colleagues he asked, "Forgive me for asking but, how many years is it since you begun teaching?"

"This is my fourth term as the Charms professor. I know that must seem quite new to you, but it seems that a lot of professors left all at once. Professor Flitwick was quite old and very eager to move on when he finally did."

OOC: I hate to tell you this, Kris, but Branxton makes me sound like a great conversationalist. And I'm extremely shy. Sorry Erin for Nicky being so rude to Ana, but he hates his questions being ignored no matter what sex the person is. He plans to apologize to Ana in the future. He really find her a rather interesting sparing partner.

Aria returned from St. Mungo's quicker then she expected to. Her father was doing much better and while he was still in the hospital, she told him that she would visit him often and that she would make sure he was doing what he was supposed to and not being bull-headed. She gave him a kiss goodbye and apparated to the gates of Hogwarts. She felt like she should unpack her stuff but she had neglected the grounds long enough. She set the luggage off to the side and took out her wand. Normally she would do this all by hand but she didn't have the time and didn't really feel like it.

She waved her wand and made the weeds disappear from the gardens and evened out the grass so it looked newly mowed. She took out a watering can from the hut she stored things in now and watered the gardens and set out sprinklers to water the grass to make it look fresher. She worked from the back of the grounds to the castle. She got closer to the lake and noticed that there was a set of clothes laying out. She looked and noticed that Mark was swimming. An idea came to her and she scooped up his clothes and threw them into the nearest tree. Sitting on the edge she said to him. "Now this is an interesting sight." she said with a smirk. "Out for an early morning swim? And leaving your clothes so out in the open where anyone could steal them?" she said shaking her head pretending to scold him.

GAH!!!!!!! I'm back! hehe *loves/snuggles/licks all* I missed ya'll so much!!! *pushes Cole and Wei in a closet* gah get it on already hehe muah!

"Dumbledore was a remarkable wizard, as well you know. I don't think it would be fair to anyone to compare them to him. However, the Headmistress has done a very good job of running the school, considering the extra large shoes she's had to fill. I'm sure she'll continue to improve and make her own mark on the school as the memory of Albus Dumbledore fades and she becomes ever more comfortable in her role," he replied, showing the uttmost reverence to the late Headmaster and no disrespect for the new Headmistress, even if he could not honestly sing her praises just yet.

Mark looked around, grinning, and swam quickly to the shore. 'My dear Aria,' he smiled, his tone one of mocking condascension. 'If you wanted to get my clothes off, you just had to ask.' He stood up out of the water, moving up the grass to where she sat and leaning over, he shook himself so the water tumbled on to her. Laughing, he colapsed onto the grass beside her, looking around. 'Poor Warrick will not be happy if he spots us sitting here.'

Aria laughed and rolled her eyes. "Well if I'd known you were that easy..." she said smirking. She tried to move out of the way while Mark dripped water all over her and the ground. "Well thanks for saving me the trouble of watering that area." She said with a laugh.

At the mention of Warrick Aria tried not to blush. She didn't know what was going on with them but she was willing to see. "Warrick will have to understand that I have friends that are guys too. And I don't know what's going on with us.....wait, how do you know about Warrick? Why would he be upset?" she asked curiously at him trying not to blush.

'Oh Warrick,' Mark smirked. It had been a guess. Seems there was something to it after all. 'Let's say, Warrick is a busy boy. We had a chat yesterday,' Mark shrugged. 'Don't think he'd like seeing you here with an almost naked man, especially if that man is me. Don't think he likes me much.' Mark lay down, pulling some grass up with his fingers and throwing it over her. 'So Aria my dear, other than stealing the clothes of handsome swimmers,' he laughed, 'what are you doing?'

Aria turned to Mark. "What did he say? Did he mention something about me?" She laughed when he threw grass at her. "Hey I had to leave because my father decided to be an idiot." She said rolling her eyes playfully "and been trying to get this place picked up and you're not helping." she said sticking her tongue out and throwing the grass back at him.

Sighing she looked at him. "I don't know that much about Warrick so I don't know why he wouldn't like you. But you're a friend of mine and thats not gonna change no matter what happens with Warrick." she said poking him in the chest.

Wei pulled herself from the shower finally, her skin stinging as it pulled in different directions. 'Stupid,' she murmured, surveying herself in the mirror. One thing at least,' she thought. I don't feel my skin crawling. She toowelled herself off carefully, and retrieved a smelly cream from her press. Tipping the vial, a large lump glooped onto her hand, and she started rubbing it into her skin. Within minutes, the smell had dissipated, and her skin felt oddly numb.

Her hand hovered over a vial, but shaking her head she shut the lid of the box again. She couldn't forget this time. It wasn't that easy anymore. She pulled her robes on, took her books and an old mug and moved off. She could sit by the lake, get some work done.

Mark smiled. 'He didn't say a word.' It wasn't a lie, but his tone could easily be read to be lying. Some part of him was more than happy to upset the Aria and Warrick boat. 'Well I'm glad to know I'll always be a friend.' He jumped up, scooping her with a squeal before she could stop him. Standing up he twirled around, before moving for the lake. 'Now as friends,' he grinned wickedly, 'I think it's only fair that I return the clothes favour.' He waded in, dumping her uncermonialously into the water. While she caught herself, Mark moved back onto teh shore, retrieving his wand. He smirked. He could remove her clothes, all but her underwear seemed fair, but instead he waited, twirling his wand in his hand.

Bebe returned to her room, but that stupid rose made her shut her door quickly. She rested her back on the outside of her door, thinking. There was just no where in the castle that was going to make her comfortable anymore. Bebe thought some fresh air would be nice, and headed that way. But .. two figures splashing in the lake sent her quickly back behind the door. Again, she found herself leaning against the inside of the door. Bebe didn't know where to go next. If only the students would arrive already..

Aria raised her eyebrow at him..."Right..." she said unconvinced. Before she knew it she was lifted and dumped in the lake completely soaked. "Brrrhrrrr" she shivered and struggled to get her breathe. "You little booger" she said laughing at him and then noticed he had his wand out. "Now Mark, don't do anything rash or stupid" she said holding her hands in the air and walking towards him maintaining eye contact, her mind going through the possible things he could be thinking of doing behind that smirk he was wearing.

'Hardly rash or stupid,' he replied grinning. 'I was just considering evening the clothes score. But,' he laughed. 'I never did get the hang of trasfiguring clothes. Not sure I could manage a bathing suit.'

Aria raised her eyebrow as it dawned on her what he intended to do. "Not even cool Mark.." she said taking baby steps closer. "I'd really like to remain fully clothed please?" she said sticking out her bottom lip and making a puppy face at him. "You wouldn't do anything to me would you?" she said smiling angelically.

He raised an eyebrow, smirking, his mind running over the list of things he would like to do to her. 'You have no idea Aria my dear.' He swirled his wand through his fingers once more then lowered it. 'For today,' he offered a hand to help her out of the water, 'I'll be good. Not that you don't deserve it though.'

Aria laughed and let him help her out of the water. Wringing out her hair on the grass. "I'll try to remember to be on my guard then." she said smirking and looking at the ground around her. "I think it looks fine enough the way it is for now. The kids will screw it up later anyway." she said with a slight chuckle. She climbed up the tree and got his clothes and brought them back to him. "Here you go." she said reaching to hand him his clothes back. She considered throwing them in the lake but decided against it. "Did I miss anything while I was gone?" she asked him curiously.

Ana tried not to smile. "That was a very diplomatic answer. Dumbledore was a special friend and much revered mentor for me. He'll always be the Headmaster of my heart. But Enora gave me a chance and has encouraged me to flourish here, so perhaps she holds a special position for me." She watched in confusion as Bebe wandered past twice before looking to Branxton for an explanation.

Warrick had spent the better part of the day inside Aria's room, painting, decorating, anything to make it feel more like home. He had gone into his room and showered and changed. He saw the elves he had recruited staring out the window nervously. He walked over and saw Mark dump Aria in. He frowned.

He walked to the Entrance Hall with nervous house elves behind as he had not dismissed them and had honestly forgotten their presence. He walked outside, within view of the lake and stood, arms over his chest. Just............watching. The house elves behind him were trembling, they had heard about he and Mark exchanging words the day before.

Aria began spinning around enjoying the sunshine when she saw Warrick standing outside, his arms crossed in front of him. She excused herself from Mark and walked over to him. She gave him a hug and a kiss and smiled at him. "Hey, turns out I wasn't gone as long as I thought I would be. I missed you. Whatcha been up to?" she asked him smiling. She playfully ruffled his hair and stuck her tongue out at him. "What's wrong?"

Warrick continued to glare at Mark, "I want you to be careful around Mark, Aria. I'd rather you stayed away from him, but I cannot tell you what to do." He looked into her eyes, so beautiful, and smiled. He brought his hand to her cheek, and rubbed his thumb against her soft cheek, kissing it. "Please, Aria. Watch yourself around him. I don't trust him."
