A generation after the defeat of the Dark Lord, the Wizarding World is starting to feel safe once again. Life goes on, children are born, and several rounds of these children have come and gone from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The professors have prepared for another calm year, but little do they know that someone within their ranks is posed to upset everything.

The year is 2037, and it has been 40 years since Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This RP will take place from the professors’ point of view, and I’d like to fill up as many roles as we want to before we start. After we’re set on who is playing who, we’ll fill the rest of the roles with names so we can all refer to the same people. References to canon characters are acceptable, although HP and co. would be almost 60 in this RP and Snape and co. would be over 80. Please provide as complete a history as possible for your characters, although the fact that this RP is for advanced players only means there is leeway for you knowing more about your character than you want to share at this time. Character secrets are great and encouraged.

Please PM me or MSN me if you are interested in joining, but a warning: all the RPers are advanced, mature members of this site who are prepared to devote time and enthusiasm to this RP. If you don’t feel you can post an adult character with good character development, post frequently daily and usually in the EST evening, or write involved posts that are grammatically correct and well-written, then please don’t sign up. We’re serious RPers and we get cranky easily. Some of us even bite.

"No," Bebe answered a little too quick. "No. I was just curious. You know me..," she said trying to come up with something quick.."always hid away. I promised myself to be more social this year." She gave a fake laugh and shrugged. "Just.. curious...is all." Bebe was a fool. Surely she didn't have guilt written that plainly on her..

As she was drinking some of her orange juice, she noticed Wei walking into the room. Gulping fast, she blushed, and poured herself a little bit more of her juice. "I'm good, good night", she said as she gave Wei a small smile. "How about you, how are you doing?", she asked casually.

"Bebe, you can tell me. I remember the two of you leaving the pub last night, and neither of you were sober." He leaned against the wall, feet out, arms crossed over his chest. "Bebe, if you don't want to tell me, that's fine. There's other ways I can find out." He stood up and faced her, "If you don't want to talk to me, you can always talk to Wei or Aria, Aria's closer to your age though." He gave her a meaningful look.

"I can't...," Bebe whispered. She never was one to lie. Never had it in her. But she was a wicked good secret keeper. "I just can't." Bebe stared into Warrick's eyes. "I'm fine. I was fine last night. He brought me back safely. Everything is fine..I think."

"Why do you only think everything's fine?" Warrick asked. He hated how girls played games and kept things to themselves. He could see that everything was not fine. He moved closer to her, "Bebe, tell me what happened. Your heart broke in your eyes when Mark walked past. I've seen that look before, I've caused that look before. I know something is up. Tell me."

'I had a night off,' Wei laughed gently, 'so I am all rested and on normal hours for once.' She took a deep drink of her coffee. 'Get up to anything good for the summer?'

Bebe stared at Warrick. She was going to cry. She hadn't had nearly enough time to think about it all. This was why... she never came out. Always made of mess of things.. and never knew how to act with people. Or what to say. Bebe chewed on her lip, "It.. well.. I just.. made a mistake.. I think. I'll be fine..."

Warrick shook his head, he wanted to ask more, but he could see her eyes watering. He reached over to her and pulled her close, giving her a hug. "Bebe, how big of a mistake? Tell me, please." He sighed, "I've seen you around, you keep to yourself, you remind me of my sister. Please, Bebe, trust me. Open up and let me become a friend."

Nikita smiled, "Oh yes. I went to Africa with my sister.. She works for the Daily Prophet, in case you didn't remember". "She wanted some help with.. well, there were some rumors and she wanted to make sure she had someone watching her back", she nodded. "You heard about the rumors, right?", she asked casually as she ate a piece of her toast.

Bebe lost it. Warrick was treating Bebe.. like a brother would treat a sister. It was beautiful, she thought. And as she broke down in his arms, she managed to gasp out, "I.. let him come up to my room." She gasped. "I let him.."

'Hardly rumours now,' Wei's eyes widened as she spoke. 'I suppose it'll fall to you more than some of us. You have defense after all.' She drank some more coffee. 'It's just so worrying. With the students being themselves, sneaking out and going against the rules.' She shook her head. 'How do we keep them safe?' She bit into some toast, not going on with her own concerns. SHe would see soon enough. She had to collect her correspondance, and there could easily be trouble then.

Cole rose late and skipped his run. He didn't feel the need to clear his head like he usually did, and he dressed. It was one of his last days to dress comfortably, so Cole slipped on a plain t-shirt and trousers and made his way down to the Great Hall. Wei was sitting at the table and looked fetching with her hair down, so Cole made a beeline for the spot next to her. It was only after he was seated that he realized their other eating companion was Nicky.

Nikita was about to respond, when she noticed Cole coming in. He looked exactly the same he had during summer. Nikita cleared her throat, and wondered if Cole had told Wei. Feeling a bit too uncomfortable, she fidgeted with her hair and looked at Wei with a confused look. "Um... so.. what did you do during summer?"

Warrick rocked her back and forth. "It's okay, Bebe, it's okay." He ran his hand through her hair. "It isn't your fault, Bebe." He was going to kill Mark. Bebe was sweet and sensitive, kept to herself. Easy prey for a playboy. Especially when drunk. He held her closer and let her have the cry she needed.

She smiled as Cole sat down, moving a toe to gently prod his foot. 'I had work to get done,' she replied to Nikita. 'There was a good stretch of observing, so I had to make the most of it. I did get a weekend with my mother, so that's something I guess.' She smiled, drinking more of her coffee.

Cole felt the prod on his foot and turned to look at Wei. His smile was probably a bit stiff, and he rolled his shoulders to calm down. It was nothing, and Nicky hadn't ever written and... it was nothing. Cole turned and smiled calmly at Nicky, remaining silent as he plunged into his breakfast. It would do no good to try to enter this conversation without knowing where they all stood.

Nikita gave Cole a confused glance. He didn't say anything!, she was definitely fuming. She had expected him to.. say hello, hug.. something.. But not knowing was surely giving her anxiety. Controlling her nervousness and confusion, she looked at Cole with a hint of anger in her green eyes. "So, what did you do during the summer?"

Finishing up his breakfast, Mark rose, nodding politely to those at the table. he had work to get done, before he got any more letters. He moved from teh hall, surprised to see Bebe cuddling up to Warrick, but passed on without comment.

She'd done it again. Looking down, she poured some more coffee and took more toast on her plate. When would she learn that people were not interested in her work prattle. She bit into her toast, looking apologetically at the two before glancing around the hall.

"Yes it is," Bebe whispered, pulling away slightly from him. Her makeup had to be running down her face. She didn't mean to tell Warrick what had happend.. she didn't mean to do anything. But when Mark strolled by, hardly glancing she held her breath. "I should go. I'm sorry. Please don't tell anyone." Bebe looked up at Warrick with large eyes and tore off running back to her room.

Warrick nodded, "I won't tell anyone Bebe," he said as she fled when Mark went by. He was going to have to watch Mark now, appearantly. Now, however, was not the time. The house elves had finished the floor without him, and stood waiting for him. "Alright, let's move to the next floor." They went on up and began cleaning.

Cole finished chewing and swallowing, making sure that practice took as long as possible. "Well..." he drew out the word. "I stayed here at Hogwarts. I worked on some theories I have that are absolute rubbish, but they're my pet theories so I continue to work on them. I took a two week vacation to the Wizarding community in Greece, which was very relaxing. I had dinner with several friends, including you once or twice," he nodded politely to Nicky as if acknowledging her company as a colleague. "It was just a normal summer for me."

He shoudl just keep walking. It wasn't his place to interfere. But, he couldn't. He turned, moving back to where Warrick stood. 'What did you do to Bebe? Why'd you go and get her upset.' He paused, hearing himself. What in the name of holy hippogryffs was he doing? Still, he'd said it now, there was no turning back.

Nikita nodded, hiding her surprise. Was that...what they were? "Well, Wei was just telling me about her fantastic summer. She did a lot of work and spent quality time with her mother", she said with a smile. She wasn't exactly sure what she was trying to do.. Was she jealous?

Smiling, she turned to Wei and waited for her to continue on her story.

Warrick turned to Mark, and his eyes were cold. "What did I do to her Mark? I opened up as a friend, Mark, I gave her a hug, Mark. What did you do to her Mark? We were talking about you, afterall. And last night." Warrick's eyes were staring hard into Mark's, waiting for an answer.
