Scene Two: During their time in Florida, several things will happen. We will see the strengthening of Nate and Cadence's relationship, and we witness them (especially Cadence) realizing what it means to be growing up. Also, Nate will be running into old friends, they will travel to Disney world, go to the drive-in, and possibly have a run-in with a crocodile. At the end of this section, Cadence will receive a letter about her parents, who passed away three years previously. Characters: Cadence, Nate, Iris, Fallon, and Patrick. OPEN to other characters.
Scene Three: Here, Cadence and Nate will travel back to England much earlier than expected, but they don't tell Nate's parents or Cady's grandparents that they're back, nor do they return to Hogwarts. They're on a mission to find whoever wrote Cadence the letter. Cadence, Nate, and their friends/frienemies from Hogwarts will team up and go on a quest to find the answers to Cadence's questions. The problems keep coming when they realize that they are all underage and aren't allowed to use magic. Unfortunately, many of them will be put in situations where magic will be necessary to save lives. Characters: Cadence, Nate, Melanie, Asher, Ziva, Torin, and Mysterious Man. Scene Four: The journey takes the group to an old, majestic manor house in Ireland, where Cadence has been told she will find the answers to all her questions. They all enter the house together, but along the way they reach obstacles, and Cadence must begin to make choices of who she wants to travel forward with her. When she reaches the very top of the highest tour in manor, she must choose between her best friend, Melanie, and her boyfriend, Nate. She refuses, proclaiming she wont leave either behind. The door in front of her opens to reveal Cadence's parents: alive and well. Characters: Cadence, Nate, Melanie, Asher, Ziva, Torin, ALL other characters from Scene Three, and Cadence's mom and dad. You will notice that the RP is set up in such a way that many characters come and go. I've done this intentionally so that people can still participate in the RP if they can't be committed to it for the entire duration of the RP.
I would like to encourage you to take on the challenge and fill roles that need to be filled, even if it's a type of role you've never played before.

I do reserve the right to reject any characters created. This is mostly to keep a reasonable number of characters and to ensure that roles essential to the plot are filled first.

As the plot progresses, I will fill players in with all necessary information to help the plot progress in the way it is supposed to via PM. There are some details that not all players will receive beforehand just because it makes it more fun if you don't know everything.

SPOILER!!: Cadence Ballard
Basic Information Name: Cadence Hope Ballard Nicknames: Cady, Cad (but the only people who DON'T call her Cadence are Melanie and Nate) Gender: Female Year: 3rd (but she's supposed to be a 4th year... keep reading to find out!) Age: 14 Birthday: September 9 Magical Descent: Half-and-Half. Her dad was a Muggle and her mom was a witch. Family: The only family she has left are her grandparents on her mom's side. History:
Cadence was in born in England, and spent most of her primary school years attending an all-girls boarding school on the countryside. Her parents loved her very much: her father was a muggle, and her mother was a witch. They felt that as she was growing up, it was important for her to experience life both as a Muggle and as a witch so that she could function in either world. Thus, while she attended a Muggle school until coming to Hogwarts.
While enrolled in Muggle school, she was very actively involved in both choir and the theatre program. She was more of an artsy child and never really cared for physical education or sports. That is something about her personality that hasn't changed.
When leaving her muggle school on holidays, Cadence was never quite sure where she would be taken by her parents. They traveled all-over the world participating in a peace-keeping organization. So, Cadence has seen a lot of the world, and yet she's experienced so little of it. Whenever they were not at their home in England, there were always adults keeping a close eye on Cadence so that no harm would come to her.
Eventually, her Hogwarts letter came, and she was ecstatic that she would finally be learning about magic! She came to Hogwarts at age 11 with wide eyes and a mind open to learning anything and everything. That all changed very quickly, however, when she received a letter from one of her parents' friends telling her that they had been killed. This was a devastating blow to Cadence; she had always been so incredibly close to her parents. She was daddy's little girl and mommy's little helper. With the help of her friend Melanie and her boyfriend Set, she managed to press forward, though she was unsure where she would be going after the school year ended. Before Cadence had even adjusted to this, though, her boyfriend Set was murdered in the library. Now all of Cadence's hope and faith and trust that the world was a good place was shattered. Days after his death, she became so disturbed and angry that she actually destroyed the Hufflepuff Common Room, not stopping until Mr. Masterson came in and grabbed her right as she passed out.
Cadence woke up weeks later in St. Mungo's not remembering anything about her life after Set's death. She didn't remember destroying the common room or Mr. Masterson's kind help. Nothing at all. After being awake for a couple days, her grandparents finally came to visit her. Cadence had never seen nor talked to these grandparents. These were her mother's parents, her father's having passed away before Cadence was 3, and they had wanted nothing to do with her mother after she had married Cadence's Muggle father. The Grogans were purebloods and felt that all wizards should carry on the pureblood tradition. They were not affectionate nor compassionate during their visits. On the contrary, they blamed Cadence's unbalanced behavior on her less-than-desirable breeding.
Nevertheless, when the time came for Cadence to leave St. Mungo's, her grandparents offered her room and board provided she stick to her room and stay quiet except at meal times. Most teenagers wouldn't mind so much living with their grandparents, but Cadence's grandparents had taken her in out of pity and because it would make them look bad to not take her; it had nothing to do with loving her. Eventually, Cadence was allowed to start school again, primarily in the form self-education. Once a week, a tutor would visit her and check over her work, and a therapist would come talk to her about how she was doing. For all of this, Cadence stayed in her room. After months of begging, Cadence finally got her grandparents to bring a dance instructor in twice a week. Cadence had convinced her therapist to tell her grandparents it would be good for her.
Those were the only times she was happy at her grandparents house, when she was dancing. When she was dancing, she could be free and let go of everything else in the world. Those four hours a week were wonderful.
Now, Cadence is back at Hogwarts, finally! She's struggled to adjust and sometimes acts in ways that even she doesn't understand. She has a tendency to overreact and be dramatic, but with what she's been through, who could blame her for her lack of social skills.
Personality: Sweet and good-natured. She hates making enemies. Loves to laugh and have a good time. Has a slight tendency to be dramatic and overreact (though she's getting better about it.) Doesn't like confrontation. She just wants to be liked and loved and to give her love to others. Cadence is also a very physical person and tends to use her body to assert her independence and freedom from her grandparents' strict lifestyle. This tendency also leads her to be a very physically affectionate person and makes it very difficult for her to mask her emotions because her body language will almost always give it away.

He was home schooled untill last term then his mom lost her job so she couldn't support him staying at home. He is a poor student because he never taught himself and knows the basics of magic. He loves Muggle studies because he lived as a muggle for so long. He loves soccer and hates the cold. He broke up with Ella, his now ex-girlfriend after falling head over heels for Cadence. He loves to have fun and hates drama. He protects Cadence strongly. He is afraid of saying 'I love you.' because he never heard it from his parents.

Backstory: Iris was born in a small French town, that no longer exists. Only those who knew of it before know of it now. Her parents were both full blooded and very happy Slytherins. She was brought up to know that anyone less than pure blood was beneath them and that muggles were absolutely disgusting. Iris attended Hogwarts where she was placed as a Hufflepuff much to her and her parents’ dismay. She caused all sorts of trouble and spent most of her time in detention. While in school, she met a young man who was her first husband from Slytherin soon after they graduated from Hogwarts, Wilson Meader.
Wilson died a few years later after a horrific fight between himself and a close friend and left Iris with a fortune of money and their large mansion in the east London country side. Eight years later at the age of twenty-eight, Iris remarried to a man named Leo Austain, they were happily married for twelve years before Leo died of natural causes, leaving her with more money to inherit and their only child Mary Alice Austain. At the age of forty-two she married Alec Belihov from France. She moved herself and Mary in with the Alec. Alec died two years later from a muggle car accident. At forty-five, Iris married her fourth husband, Ronsan Lovell. He passed away from a heart attack, leaving his whole life fortune to Iris to inherit. At fifty, Iris married, Lee Acklaner who died three years later in his sleep beside Iris. A seven years later at the age of sixty one, Iris married her last and latest husband, Brad Myason. He died after a very short marriage of seven and half months of a heart attack, leaving Iris in a state of shock and lovesick, never able to marry again.
Though Iris had been through several marriages and death, she took very good care of her daughter Mary. She was very tough on her, though, as her parents had been on her. And even though she was a proud Hufflepuff one she graduated from Hogwarts, she had always felt she was a Slytherin and wanted her to be just like Iris’ mother. Iris took Brad’s death very hard and didn’t want to speak with Mary, and hasn’t spoken to her since the day they found out Brad was dead. Instead, she began drowning her feelings in alcohol.
Less than two months after Brad’s death Iris moved from France to the United States where she lives in a very large beach house on the Sebastian Beach.

Backstory
Fallon grew up as a child in Chicago, Illinois. She lived with her mother, father, and her little brother. Then, her parents got divorced when she was 10. Her mother moved her to England to live with her grandparents. She went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin. There she met some of her best friends: Aaron, Iris, Grace, and Satine. Grace had to move away after first year and Fallon was just left with the three.
At the beginning of second year, Fallon met Evan. Once term started, her and Evan started to date. She met Nate about halfway through the year and always enjoyed hanging out with him. Near the end of the year, Fallon got a letter saying that she was going to move with her mother and grandparents to Florida. She wasn't happy about leaving her friends behind, especially Evan. Breaking up with Evan was really hard, but now she has a new boyfriend, Patrick. She really enjoys spending time with him and he is almost always with Fallon. She can't stand some of the rules at her new school and loves to complain about it.

Backstory
Patrick was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He grew up along the beach with his muggle father and his mother and his two little twin sisters (11). He learned how to surf when he was 9 and enjoys teaching anyone that wishes to learn.
Patrick was really excited to start going to school. He loves everyone there and doesn't like the fact that most of his friends stay at the school during their winter break. This year he's lucky though. He has Fallon who is willing to spend everyday of the summer with him. He really likes spending time with her and hopes she never has to leave.

His biggest weakness is Ziva, his younger and only sister; if she’s upset he’s beside himself. A quick thinker who follows his insticts and rarely second guesses what he does. Asher is usually quiet and serious but he loves to have a great time when he’s with his family or close friends. He's a loyal friend to have, but don't get him on his bad side. Insults usually make him laugh, he won't stoop to that level to fire any back; he has better things to be doing.

Asher graduated from Hogwarts with high marks and recommendations; he continued on to train as a healer. Once he completed training he worked at Saint Mungo’s as a healer. During the course of the last few years, Asher would work off and on. He made sure to provide everything he could for the family and also spend time with them. It helped to have Maudi, their Russian maid join them eight years ago.
Asher is close to the kids, though he is probably the closest with Ziva. Now that the kids are getting older Asher is ready for a career change and to meet new people.

Melanie was born in a small town in England, the same place where her parents met and married. She spent the first four years of her life there and it is where most of her relatives on her mother's side live. Her mom was only just getting out of college and kick-starting her career as a journalist when she had her. After a few years of struggling, a big city newspaper editor caught site of her column in another, community one and asked her to join their team, which Elizabeth Lockhart gladly obliged to. Though she was quite pleased with her new occupation, the woman got tired of that quickly, and wanted to move on to something more to her taste.
Television Broadcasting. After a riff with her mother, who disproved of her ever changing wishes and rash, spontaneous decisions, Elizabeth decided that with a new job should come a new home, away from her family, which meant a move. Her husband reluctantly agreed, under one condition, and left his job as a teacher, to go to America, where he was born. John Lockhart's condition was that they go to New York City, to live where he grew up.
And so they moved. Elizabeth secured a job, with the local news broadcasting network. John decided to start a Movie Rental shop, which was a struggled at first, but later brought in enough money to pay for itself, and then some. Within a few months the store was up and running, with Alec helping outon the side and Jpohn working as the manager. Melanie and her brother were both enrolled into Muggle School (Melanie after she was old enough).
Eventually they settled in, Melanie not so happily. She loved New York City, with all it's bright lights, tall buildings and it's man made beauty, but she missed her cousins and she wasn't exactly having a good time fitting in at her new school. She did make friends with a few children in her apartment... but she never really felt as if she truly fit in.
She was eight when it happened. It only socially isolated her even further, when her mom drowned on a trip she went on for a news report. Naturally, Melanie bawled her eyes out when it first happened, but, besides a fear of water, these days she won't show any emotion about it, or react extremely if it's brought up. She won't talk about her mom's death, usually, unless prompted to. It's obvious she hasn't forgotten her though. Melanie wears a piece of her mom's jewelry, a silver chain heart necklace, every day.
It helped her a little when she discovered a cat, which she dubbed Momo, running from a peeved butcher he'd apparently been stealing meat from. After seeing the way she interacted with the cat, smiling just a little and being a bit more boisterous- or at least as boisterous as an eight year old should be- her dad reluctantly let her adopt him, and she has taken care of him til' this day.
It was a few years afterward she showed her first signs of magical ability. She was having a nightmare, dreaming a tsunami was crashing down upon her, as she ran and ran. Melanie longed just get away, be somewhere safe from the danger that was clearly about to swallow her up.
And she woke up curled up in the dryer of the building she lived in, much to the annoyance, and amusement, of her neighbors, who were doing some morning laundry. Thankfully, the dryer wasn't running. A few weeks later she got a letter for Hogwarts, and apologies from her father when he realized that the whole ordeal was an accident, and that her seemingly unbelievable story about just 'appearing there' had been true after all.
She was absolutely thrilled when she got her letter. Melanie got sorted into Hufflepuff House. She's a happy fourth year now.

Personality: Torin loves to socialize and meet new people. He also is rather impulsive, and can do silly things without thinking. But he also can be well behaved and polite. He's mostly just really bad with Reese Upstead, one of his best friends. He is loyal, and tries to be there for his friends, but he hates fighting; if his friends come to blows he will not be in he middle of it. He can be quite the flirt, but also sweet. And when he loves a girl, he really loves her.
Family: Torin has a twin sister named Dani (who is 8 minutes older than him), and a 5 year old sister, Cammy. His mum is a home maker, and his father a lawyer. Both of them being Muggles. He definitely gets along better with his mum than his dad. And he and his sister have a bit of a rivalry, but they still love each other dearly despite their different personalities.
Cadence looked down at the tiny ladder with a very nervous look on her face. She might be graceful in high heels and a ball gown, but barefooted in a bathing suit? Not a chance. Nate must have noticed her apprehension because he went down the ladder first and stood there to make sure she didn't fall. Cadence turned around and began to descend the long ladder slowly. Once Nate was firmly on the ground, she began to try to go down a little faster, not wanting him to have to wait. As she neared the bottom, though, she lost her footing and her heart felt like it skipped a beat as she slipped backwards off the ladder with a little shriek. Luckily, though, she gracefully landed right in Nate's outstretched arms. She let out a breath and just laid her head against him as they walked, or snuck, over to the hot tub.
When Nate told Cadence to be quiet, obviously her first instinct was to giggle as they were doing something they probably weren't allowed to do, and such things always made Cadence giggle. Clapping her hand over her mouth, though, she watched as Nate got in and pushed a button. Suddenly, the surface of the hot tub was being broken with waves of bubbles. Cadence slid into the water a little at the time, allowing her body time to adjust to the heat. Once she was in, she noticed there was something of a bench going around the sides, and Cadence sat down causing her whole body to go underwater from the neck down. Blast her being so short! This was not comfortable. She kept floating up a little bit, unable to stay sitting with so much of her body underwater. When Nate come close to her and put an arm around her, she moved over and sat in his lap. Now at least her shoulders were out of the water, and she didn't keep floating away.
Cadence leaned back against Nate, her head coming to rest on his shoulder. Closing her eyes, she just let her body relax. She could hear the nearby waves crashing on the shore, feel Nate's steady breathing on her neck, and could feel his chest rising and falling against her back. It was absolute perfection.

Fallon was finally able to spend time with Patrick since she got home fore Christmas Break. The only stipulation was the Patrick and her would have to go help Fallon's neighbor with some house chores. She had met Iris a couple of times, but had never been inside of her house. She was actually frightened to be taking Pat there when she had never been there herself.
As of now, she was sitting on her front porch waiting for Pat to come to her house. She hoped the housework Iris needed done wouldn't take all day because she really wanted to go hang down on the beach with Patrick. They hadn't spent time at the beach since he had taught her to surf.
Not only was today the only day she could hang out with Pat, it was also the day she had to tell him about going back to Hogwarts. She liked her new friends, but the school aggravated her so much that it completely outweighed that. This was one of the hardest decisions she ever had to make.
Patrick smiled as he walked down the boardwalk towards Fallon's house. This was the first time all of break that they would be able to hang out. Unfortunately, they had to do chores for her neighbor, but he figured that that wouldn't take too long to do.
He also was hoping that they could go spend some time at the beach after they finished. Or possibly even catch a movie. Patrick neared Fallon's house and he spotted her on the porch. He smiled at the fact that she was waiting for him.
Patrick waved as he got closer. Soon he was standing in front of her on her porch. "Hey Fallon." He said smiling. He kissed her quickly on the lips. They had been going out for over a month now and had had their first kiss a week before break.
Fallon smiled as she saw Patrick. She stood up so that she was facing him. "Hey Pat." She smiled as he kissed her. They had only had their first kiss a week ago, but they were all amazing. She really was dreading telling him about her going back to England. "So you ready to go do some house chores?" She smiled as he nodded. "Well, let's go then." She grabbed his hand and led him next door. She gently knocked on the door and waited for Iris to answer.

Fallon was finally able to spend time with Patrick since she got home fore Christmas Break. The only stipulation was the Patrick and her would have to go help Fallon's neighbor with some house chores. She had met Iris a couple of times, but had never been inside of her house. She was actually frightened to be taking Pat there when she had never been there herself.
As of now, she was sitting on her front porch waiting for Pat to come to her house. She hoped the housework Iris needed done wouldn't take all day because she really wanted to go hang down on the beach with Patrick. They hadn't spent time at the beach since he had taught her to surf.

Iris jumped on the bed some more wondering why Nate wasn't responding to her. Then she realized it was still dark out, the alarm clock's bright red numbers from across the room caught her attention. It was eight thirty five, she sighed. Boy, one small drink and she was out of it already, Nate wasn't even in the bed. "They probably took the top floor." Iris said with small smile.
Then she heard knocking from downstairs. "I'm coming already!" she hollered as she made her way out into the hall. She ducked her head into what she had presumed was Candy's room, to find her bed empty too. Iris' old eyes had just gotten adjusted to the dark.
With a flick of the wand both beds were made like they were the last time she'd made them, she closed the doors and headed down stairs. She flipped on a light switch to the foyer, she jumped slightly from the sharp brightness. "I'm coming, I told you that!" she yelled at the front door as she got closer. She made the door fly open, she smiled as she brought a hand up to her hair. To perfect the messiness.
"Faith!" Iris exlaimed coming out to join her on the front porch, she gave the young woman a large hug. "Great to see you again doll!" she said lightly slapping both cheeks.

Cadence looked down at the tiny ladder with a very nervous look on her face. She might be graceful in high heels and a ball gown, but barefooted in a bathing suit? Not a chance. Nate must have noticed her apprehension because he went down the ladder first and stood there to make sure she didn't fall. Cadence turned around and began to descend the long ladder slowly. Once Nate was firmly on the ground, she began to try to go down a little faster, not wanting him to have to wait. As she neared the bottom, though, she lost her footing and her heart felt like it skipped a beat as she slipped backwards off the ladder with a little shriek. Luckily, though, she gracefully landed right in Nate's outstretched arms. She let out a breath and just laid her head against him as they walked, or snuck, over to the hot tub.
When Nate told Cadence to be quiet, obviously her first instinct was to giggle as they were doing something they probably weren't allowed to do, and such things always made Cadence giggle. Clapping her hand over her mouth, though, she watched as Nate got in and pushed a button. Suddenly, the surface of the hot tub was being broken with waves of bubbles. Cadence slid into the water a little at the time, allowing her body time to adjust to the heat. Once she was in, she noticed there was something of a bench going around the sides, and Cadence sat down causing her whole body to go underwater from the neck down. Blast her being so short! This was not comfortable. She kept floating up a little bit, unable to stay sitting with so much of her body underwater. When Nate come close to her and put an arm around her, she moved over and sat in his lap. Now at least her shoulders were out of the water, and she didn't keep floating away.
Cadence leaned back against Nate, her head coming to rest on his shoulder. Closing her eyes, she just let her body relax. She could hear the nearby waves crashing on the shore, feel Nate's steady breathing on her neck, and could feel his chest rising and falling against her back. It was absolute perfection.
Nate laughed a little as she clasped her mouth close with her hands. He kissed her neck a little as she climbed on his lap. He tilted her head towards his and kissed her. He wanted to kiss her forever but was scared. He ended up just pulling away after a few short seconds and blushing. "Umm...want to go swimming?" he said standing up sliding Cady off his lap. He dove into the pool and stayed under as long as he could.
He felt bad for not kissing her longer. He knew something bad was gonna happen if they didn't snog soon. He felt little arguments about to break out like his parents. He didn't want them to end up like his parents. No sir-y. He wanted to kiss her all night and day anywhere they went. In the pool to on a mountain.

Fallon was starting to have difficulty breathing form the intensity of Iris's hug. She turned to look at Patrick, hoping he wasn't completely freaked out by Iris.
Patrick looked at his watch as he wondered what was taking so long for someone to answer the door. He was taken aback as the door was flung open and someone came out and engulfed Fallon in a monstrous hug. He heard this lady, who was obviously Fallon's neighbor, call her Faith. He raised his eyebrows as Fallon just ignored the comment.
He waved to Iris and said, "Hello." Patrick was really starting to hope that this wasn't going to take too long. This lady was definately off her rocker and he didn't know how long he would last. He stood there quietly smiling as he waited to be told what to do.

She closed her eyes as their lips touched, and....
It was over. Nate pulled away. Not only did he pull away, but he stood up quickly, practically throwing Cady from his lap. He was running to the pool before she could even say a word. She was so disappointed, she wanted to cry. The tension and anticipation had built up so high and then came crashing back down. You just... you can't do that to a 14-year-old girl whose in love with you!
She climbed out of the hot tub and wrapped a towel around herself, resolutely refusing her hearts urgings to get in the pool so she could be close to Nate. The hormonal imbalance in her brain was making her too angry to allow herself to go near him. Instead, she just sat on a nearby deck chair, seriously pouting for the first time in their relationship. She had been upset before, but never with him. Now, she was honestly and truly disappointed. Why did he always pull away? Did he not like kissing her? Was she not pretty enough? Was she bad at kissing? Did he just not love her? Did he not even like her enough to want to snog her? As her brain filled with questions and her body continued to be overrun with extreme emotions, Cadence turned away so Nate wouldn't see her crying over something so incredibly silly.

As she entered, she watched as bottles of alchohol flew into another room. She figured that was why Iris was so crazy today. She looked at the large Christmas tree and smiled. She had just decorated her own the day before.
Fallon chuckled as she called Patrick Ricky and pinched his cheeks. She had no idea how Pat would take it, but she hoped that he would understand. She then looked back to Iris. "It looks great Ir-Miss Fitz Gerald." She had barely caught herself.
Patrick quietly followed Miss Fitz Gerald and Fallon into the house. He towered over Miss Fitz Gerald and was shocked to see that Fallon was taller than her as well. It was a strange sight to see when he was used to Fallon being the short one in the group. He took a quick glance around the place and then looked back to Fallon and Miss Fitz Gerald.

She looked around. "Hold on." Iris told them as she moved to the closet across the room. She opened it and rummaged around for a few seconds, then she found it. "I hope you know how to use this thing Ricky. 'Cause I sure as heck don't." Iris said rolling the contraption to Ricky.

Cadence heard Nate getting out of the water, and she hastily attempted to wipe her tears away. She shivered a little as the breeze blew by. She wasn't really cold, but between her nerves and emotions and having just vacated the hot tub, the breeze caused a cold chill to run up her spine. When she felt Nate touch her shoulder, the tension in her body melted away, along with her anger toward him. When he sat down with her and lifted up her chin, she looked up into his eyes, unsure of how to tell him why she was upset. She struggled for a moment with what to say, and then tears filled her eyes again as she realized that what she had been upset about wasn't really all that important. "I'm sorry, Nate. I'm just being a stupid, silly girl..." she said. Perhaps he would leave it at that? Somehow Cadence didn't think so. She had a feeling Nate would make her explain herself. Cadence knew she was being overemotional and hadn't done a very good job of controlling her emotions, and now she was thoroughly embarrassed about that. Cadence played with the ends of her partially wet hair as she waited for him to say something else...

All of sudden, Miss Fitz Gerald was rolling a vaccuum cleaner towards him. He took the vaccuum from her. He let out a sigh and started to unwrap the cord. He searched around for somewhere to plug it in, but was having difficulty finding one. Finally, he spotted one near the sofa and put the plug in. He walked back over to the vaccuum and turned it on. It roared to life and he started to roll it across the floor that was covered in pine needles. He was glad that he had only gotten stuck with vaccuum duty. That he could do easily.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head on her shoulder. He lightly pecked her shoulder and forearm waiting for an answer. He was quite sure what was wrong but he wanted to make sure.

The cans all the way in the back were the hardest to grab, but she managed. She finished faster than she thought and she could still here the vaccuum going in the living room, signaling that Patrick wasn't done yet. She looked back at Iris. "What's next?"
Nate tilted her chin up towards his and kissed her slowly. He broke the kiss after a few seconds. He wasn't ready for snogging yet. "What's really wrong?" he said pulling her onto his lap. Cadence kissed Nate back and then smiled at him. Somehow, that made everything better... which was odd since that was what had made her upset in the first place. Allowing herself to be pulled into his lap, she just leaned her head against him. Before she could answer, Nate was kissing her shoulder, sending goosebumps down her arm and up the back of her neck. She bit her lip again, the butterflies fluttering restlessly.
Then Cadence shook the feeling from her body and took a deep breath, attempting to calm herself down. "It's silly, really. I just... thought it was going to happen, and I got all nervous and excited, and then when it didn't, I was just really really disappointed and upset. Like, disproportionately so. I shouldn't have been so upset I was crying. I don't know what got into me. I'm sorry. We can go back to swimming if you want..." she said, smiling at him.
I wish he'd stop kissing my neck and shoulders if he isn't going to snog me. It's driving me absolutely crazy!

Fallon chuckled slightly at Iris's comment. She looked back at Pat and smiled. He was such a great guy to go through this with her.
Fallon followed Iris into the kitchen. It was really magnificent. "Of course I can," she said. She watched as Iris brought her the step stool. She climbed up on it and opened the cabinet doors. Inside, she saw all of the cans on the top shelf. Iris wasn't kidding about there being a lot.
She let out a quick sigh and started to pull the cans out one by one so that she could balance herself with her unused hand. The cans all the way in the back were the hardest to grab, but she managed. She finished faster than she thought and she could still here the vaccuum going in the living room, signaling that Patrick wasn't done yet. She looked back at Iris. "What's next?"
Iris smiled at Faith. "Thank the Heavens you got them down Faith!" Iris shrieked over the noise from the living room. "Now, will you help me sort these, each of these shelves have some sort of theme." Iris told her, she herself didn't know what or why she had done it in the first place, she'd probably been drunk when she did it.

Iris smiled at Faith. "Thank the Heavens you got them down Faith!" Iris shrieked over the noise from the living room. "Now, will you help me sort these, each of these shelves have some sort of theme." Iris told her, she herself didn't know what or why she had done it in the first place, she'd probably been drunk when she did it.
Fallon nodded her head and went over to the cans she had just pulled down. She thought the sorting thing was weird, but she wasn't going to comment. She would let Iris be Iris and just go on with her life.
She looked on the shelves and saw one of the weirdest ways she had ever seen to sort cans. She shrugged her shoulders and started to sort them as she heard the vaccuum cleaner shut off in the living room.
Patrick clicked off the vaccuum cleaner and looked at the now spotless living room floor. He was very proud of himself and his mother would be to for she was always yelling at him to clean his room. He quickly wrapped the cord up and rolled the vaccuum back over to near the closet where Miss Fitz Gerald had gotten it before.
He walked into the kitchen and saw a ton of cans and Fallon trying to sift through them. She appeared to be sorting them, but Patrick couldn't be sure. "I'm all done vaccuuming Miss Fitz Gerald. Would you like me to help Fallon sort the cans?"

She looked up a few moments later to find that neither one of them was standing there. She shrugged her shoulders and figured Iris had taken Pat somewhere else to get to work on something. She went back to sorting the cans finding the task easier as she went along.
Please let me help Fallon. He prayed silently to himself. She then said something about cat boxes and he got a disgusted look. That was one of his least favorite chores to do. He reluctantly followed Miss Fitz Gerald to the bathroom.
He listened as she explained what he needed to do and took the scooper from her. He found a plastic bag near the back of the toilet. He started to clean out the first of the four litter boxes that needed cleaning.
Cadence kissed Nate back and then smiled at him. Somehow, that made everything better... which was odd since that was what had made her upset in the first place. Allowing herself to be pulled into his lap, she just leaned her head against him. Before she could answer, Nate was kissing her shoulder, sending goosebumps down her arm and up the back of her neck. She bit her lip again, the butterflies fluttering restlessly.
Then Cadence shook the feeling from her body and took a deep breath, attempting to calm herself down. "It's silly, really. I just... thought it was going to happen, and I got all nervous and excited, and then when it didn't, I was just really really disappointed and upset. Like, disproportionately so. I shouldn't have been so upset I was crying. I don't know what got into me. I'm sorry. We can go back to swimming if you want..." she said, smiling at him.
I wish he'd stop kissing my neck and shoulders if he isn't going to snog me. It's driving me absolutely crazy!

Nate listened carefully to her response not wanting to make the same mistake twice. He sighed and shook his head a little before smiling. "I don't want to swim anymore, the pool is freezing. Maybe we could just go back in the hot tub?" he said kissing all over her neck and shoulder. He winked at her as he pecked kissed along her jaw. He wanted to snog her but he was way to cold to do that now. "Otherwise, we could always go to bed. I mean if she can't find us she won't care but she might be a little worried."
Nate stood up and threw her over his shoulder so her face was facing his buttocks. He carried her to the hot tub and held her in his arms like a newborn baby. He climbed in the hot tub and set her down. "I guess you have no choice now." he whispered.
Cadence giggled and started to get a little squirmy as he kissed her neck and shoulders. Biting her lip, she tried to control her emotions as best as she could, but she was failing. Miserably. A hot blush crept onto her cheeks and down her neck, closely followed by more goosebumps. Before she knew it, her body felt hot and tingly all over. Cadence wanted to go upstairs and lay in bed with him and just kiss him over and over and over. Before she could reply, however, she was being thrown over his shoulder, her towel falling off, and carried to the hot tub.
Once Nate set her down she just stood in the hot tub looking at him. She smiled at him and bit her lip. The rapid heartbeat that was becoming so familiar to her began to return as she stood there staring at Nate. She remembered last night at his house, walking in on him dressing and how nervous she had felt. After a few minutes, without thinking, she walked the few steps over to him and stood so close that her body was right against his. She wrapped her arms around his neck, fingers playing with the hair on the back of his head, and she just kissed him. It was slow and gentle at first, but she refused to be the one to break the kiss, and instead just allowed it to deepen as the kiss continued. She kissed him as if her whole soul and all her love was packed into that one singular kiss...

He liked when she took control. especially now seeing how nervous he was. She played with his hair which instinctively he buried his face in her neck. Then they were kissing. Full on kissing. Cadence was slightly shocked when Nate continued to kiss her back. A part of her had expected him to pull away again. But he hadn't. He had kept kissing her and it was... incredible. After a few minutes, Nate took control, which Cadence was thankful for, and pulled her into his lap. Feeling his arms around her just made her want to get closer, even though she knew they were as close as they could possibly be. She slid her hands down from around his neck to the front of his bare chest, where they just rested for a few more minutes. Eventually, Cadence started to pull away, giving him a few more kisses before she completely ended it. Then she rested her forehead against his and looked into his eyes. After a few moments of silence, the full realization of what had just happened hit her, and she bit her lip. Seconds later, she burst into giggles of smitten delight and buried her face in his neck, kissing it a few times.
Wow, this hot tub is realllllly hot.
