If you are present here today at the (Muggle) Dorchester Hotel you are here for a very special occasion: the wedding of F. Wesley Logan Ferguson and Isobel Maria Montague. The date is the eighteenth of December 2077. As the season is winter, the hotel grounds are lined with pretty snow, so hopefully you have dressed appropriately. Luckily, the wedding is happening inside the hotel, meaning the guests won’t get too cold.
Upon entering the hotel, the guests are directed into a large room where the ceremony will be taking place. It is clear that wedding has been planned down to every last detail. Lilac flowers are tastefully tied to the chairs directly next to the aisle, whilst golden rose petals have been scattered along the aisle. Soft music is playing, seeming to come out of know where beneath the quiet chatter of the guests.
As many of the guests are friends with both the bride and groom, there is no need to worry about picking the right side to sit on; just take a seat and enjoy the ceremony. The first two rows are reserved for the bridal party and the parents of both the bride and groom. Apart from these rows you are free to sit anywhere. It’s not long before Wesley arrives and settles in the front of the room with his best man Evander Bole and the rest of his groomsmen. This can only mean one thing: the ceremony is about to begin.
The soft music now changes into the bridal march, signalling the arrival of the bride.

Sherman watched Demetrius stare in another direction. He turned his head to see what the boy was looking at. Oh. It was Evelyn, another one of his fellow, young employees. And she was with another man. Ha. Was Demetrius getting jealous because Evelyn seemed to be courting with someone else? Oh well. The old man had never understood children's love affairs anyways. Hmph. It was all batting eyelashes and poking tummies and much too troublesome to get into. "Yes. I think Nero is excited to have another living soul in the Death Chamber," Ha. Joke. Well, not a good one. "I haven't seen him take to someone so quickly in a while."
The elderly man turned his wheelchair as music started to play. The bridesmaids were slipping down the aisle, and so was the ring bearer. And the flower girl. And Izzy! The old soul was gaping at her dress. It was so unwrinkled. And it was a dress. How did women walk in those things without tripping? Especially with heels on. 'Cause he definitely didn't understand how those shoes didn't give everyone bunions. Yupp. "Oh. She looks so clean!" Sherman squealed quietly to their little Mysteries group.

Yvonne Baltazar stared. The decorations were beautiful. Lots of fancy everywhere. New people, lots of them too. But what had her gazing everywhere was the fact that they were all waiting for the bride. She's never personally met her, just seen her once in a while at the ministry. She ran her hands down her dress to smooth it out, though, there was not a wrinkle on it.
Her green/gray eyes briefly glanced at the man beside her. At least, she knew someone in this whole thing. It was also a good place to socialise and practice being friendly. So far, all she could attract was guys. She didn't mind that, but she did want to have a few girl friends.
She then turned to Krys, about to say something, but the music changed. So, she just grinned and turned her attention to the aisle where the bride was. She was so beautiful. Yvonne sighed. It reminded her of the time her parents remarried.

She then turned to Krys, about to say something, but the music changed. So, she just grinned and turned her attention to the aisle where the bride was. She was so beautiful. Yvonne sighed. It reminded her of the time her parents remarried.
Krys followed Yvonne's gaze to the decorations. Yeah, they were pretty... but he didn't really see why she was staring at them. He looked back down to where his fingers were fiddling with his cufflinks... he was bored already... Krys was not made to sit down for long periods of time - he was the kind of person who preferred dancing or running around or laughing or things... weddings were... dull. He was only here because Yvonne had persuaded him... not that it had taken her much; he had a weakness for her... for some reason. He wasn't sure why and he wasn't sure if he liked it. Hmm.
But he did catch Yvonne glancing at him... that made him smirk the tiniest bit. Yes, he flirted shamelessly with her he just wanted to know how far he could get in the flirting before he made her blush. It was the little things in life that amused him.
He turned so that he could hear Yvonne more clearly but she didn't even start to speak. Ah. The bride. He turned to look at her and had to blink a couple of times... Wow. Now, Krys appreciated beautiful women as much as the next man (probably more) but she looked... stunning. Really stunning. He had to restrain himself from letting out a low whistle.
Legend felt sort of sick, as if he had forgotten something. Or was missing something up, and he wasn't even the one getting married. No, he was just the one that was trusted with the most expensive part of the wedding. Shouldn't that be an issue for Van, you know something that the best manhad to deal with? Merlin only knew what the senior Aurors and Ex-Aurors would do to him if he lots the rings. Man, there were a lot of them here. His hands instantly dug into his pocket, his breath getting caught up in his throat for a moment, until he felt the smooth box in his pocket.
Rings, that he had gotten from Wes hours ago? Check. Clothes, that he had actually made sure were ironed? Check. Sunglasses, that really weren't needed? Check.
Date-er-plus one? Legend reached out and gave Neptune's hand a small squeeze, as he lead her to the the front of the room. "You can sit here-" He said gesturing to a empty seat. She was his date so she could sit there right? "-Did I already tell you that you look like Christmas." He grinned, it was his way of saying she looked good. His face suddenly went blank. Now he knew what he had forgotten! The pillow! It was up...with the bride!"I'll be back! I have to do my duties." Important ring bearer stuff you know. He turned, and was off, running toward the direction of the brides room, his suspenders flopping as he did so.
It didn't take long before he was at the door giving it a small knock, just for warning. Legend waited for three more seconds but when he heard nothing he opened the door and slipped inside.
"Oh." He grinned. "Don't you ladies look lovely?" All four of them really. Um-Heh.
Well, the place looked all decorated and whatnot. Really, what more could he say? It was a wedding setup, the place looked like a wedding, After one or two they all started to look the same. Dasb eyes filtered upward toward Wes, and his groomsmen. Only the men, but It was like some big official MLE wedding. Cute.
"I'm sort of worried that if they stand up there too long, people will actually get a look at them and start to clear out." Dash's voice wasn't low at all. He smirked, as he ushered Carina into a seat somewhere in the middle. They didn't really need to be up close.
-And was that Damien?
Oh Merlin have MERCY was that Chosen up there? HA! Was he the RING BEARER?! If he was a good boy through the ceremony perhaps Damien would give him a pat on the head and a lollipop. SNORT! Oh dear he was NEVER going to hear the end of it from Damien. EVER.
Feeling rather than SEEING someone enter Damien turned his head and caught Scabior looking toward him. Heh. Man... it had been a WHILE since he had seen that old fool. Giving him a man!nod he smirked slightly. He would definitely get with him later and chew the fat a bit.

How are your nerves?" he asked, nodding to the flask of drink Van had given him.
"You're such an old romantic, man," Gabriel smirked, giving his friend a nudge in the ribs with his elbow. Not that he believed that. Jax wasn't usually the sort to get all soppy. Then again, it was one of those sort of occasions.
Oh, there was Damien. And Gem. Looking lovely as usual. As his friend acknowledged him, Gabriel raised a hand and nodded towards him. They'd not seen each other for a while, so it was time for a catch up at the reception.
Yep. Catching up. For sure. Man. Why had he lost touch with the guys so much lately? Well... not all of them, but when he was in London he tried to make it a point to get ahold of the buds.

"I uh, yeah, I'm fine." Wes shook his head and made a note to clean his ears out before the reception. Strange. Maybe there was an earwig in there or some leftover bubbles from the bachelor party. "I'm glad you and yours could make it," he added toward Jax, tilting his head at where Alicia was seated.
Wes caught the solemn man!nod from Damien and nodded back, just as solemnly. You know, this wedding was something of a step up from his first... surrounded by heavily armed mobsters atop a mountain... at least the people at this one were better looking. Heh.
Ah, there was his ring-bearer boy man now! That was good. That meant the wedding would be starting on time, if only... if only the kid didn't look so lost????!
Wes found himself inhaling sharply again, particularly at the sight of the YATI's suspenders flailing as he ran up the aisle. For Merlin's sake, Chosen, get it together! Those rings weren't inexpensive!
His face remained somewhat strained until Wes heard what he hoped was a joke come floating down the aisle. Haaaa haaa haaa. So that Scabior had arrived at last. Cracking a grin, Wes caught sight of his old coworker and raised and eyebrow. So pleased he had made it... and who was his date, hmm? She weirdly matched him somehow....
"Nerves? What nerves?" Wes' grin might have faded a bit as he turned his head to converse with Gabe. He would have said something else but just then, the music changed tempo and tune. Good MERLIN those trumpets.
Oh no. Oh no. The nerves were back. Wes straightened up and told himself to man up, because Izzy was coming out here and he wanted everything and everyone to look perfect just for her.
So he plastered a big grin on and started staring intently down the aisle, waiting for the bride.
Yeaaaah. Man nods for the win.

Yeah. Like that would happen! Damien rolled his eyes slightly and smirked at Wifey. She was cute, but she knew Damien would never SHUSH.
Oh GAWD that TUNE. Oh that dreaded tune. Sighing slightly Damien moved his eyes toward Isobel as she entered the room in that white dress. Yeah, yeah. Wedding. Dresses, stuff, music. If Gemini cried he would have to consider apparating out immediately. IMMEDIATELY. Gawd.

That was slightly worrying, but that was okay. She knew that she loved Wesley, and she knew he loved her. Everything would be fine, and in a few short minutes they would be man and wife. That would be a very exciting moment. She just needed to get through the walking down the aisle bit. And the father bit. Talking about her father. He looked rather interested in that painting over there.
Luckily the wedding planner was now ushering him over, just as the wedding march began. At least they could get this over and done with before her father combusted. "Just try to look happy Dad..." She mused, trying not to order him, just as the doors opened. Thoughts about her dad sort of left her mind though, as she saw Wesley at the end of the aisle. Oh. Her lovely Fiancé. Smiling at him, she began walking down the aisle, accompained by her Father, and the bridesmaids.
Any doubt, any worries, any hesitation Wesley had had at the beginning of the day was quickly fleeing his mind and body the closer Izzy got to the altar. Aww. She just looked beautiful. Gorgeous. Stunning. And a whole lot of other wonderful adjectives. What a dress had she picked out! Woowoo!
Wes barely even noticed the flower lady (hehe) and the ring-bearer finally making it up to the front, though in the back of his mind he felt some sense of relief that both had pulled off their duties. No, he was too busy gazing at Izzy with a clearly loopy but very real grin to even notice the arrival of the priest.
"WADIES and GENTWILLMEN," the priest announced, popping up from Merlin knew where to beam at the crowd. "Pwease stand for dee awivval of da bwide!"
This was Marty V. Nuptschallz's very favorite part of the WHOLE ceremony. Other than the middle and the end, of course. Ah, the beginning.

Alysson was almost as excited as Izzy about the wedding. It was insane how fast her heart was beating right now. It was almost as if SHE was the one getting married and not her best friend. Outside she was all smiles and giggles but inside she was nervous. Nervous that something might go wrong on this very special day. How on Earth was Izzy so calm anyway?
Or somewhat calm, considering the circumstances.
Folding her hands in front of her, Aly took a deep breath before following Izzy out of the tent and slowly started walking down the aisle. Yes, everything was going to go fine. Her eyes briefly darted around to see who was among the guests, spotting a couple of familiar faces - was that Sherman?! Seeing as the guest list was one of the few things she hadn't helped out with, it was quite surprising to now see who had been invited. And who had brought plus ones. And who those were. And-
Right, they'd reached the front and Alysson should probably start focusing on the actual wedding and not who was here.

Wedding mattered.
Izzy mattered.
She hadn't missed a step but now her expression was icy, distant. And when they reached the front she just stared straight ahead and refused to look.
Plus, it seemed she wasn't the only one who had other things in mind than where the priest had just come from and exactly WHERE Izzy and Wesley had found him. His way of speaking was rather cute, though. It oddly made her relax a little. Even though she hadn't yet spotted her plus one. There just were a lot of people here though so maybe it was all good. Hopefully.
But back to other things. More important ones. Or more important ones for Izzy anyway. And since it was HER day...
What was wrong with Althea? She'd been her usual self back in the tent and now she was looking as if this was the last place she wanted to be right now. Or well, something like that. She definitely did not look happy to be here anyway. Even though she should! She was up front, next to the bride, for everyone to see. "Smile!" Alysson nudged the woman next to her as inconspicuously as possible, giving her a rather stern look.
It was NOT okay to look like that. Not now. Not when the ceremony had just started and everybody was looking their way.
Toto * RotiSila * ToRo * Braveheart * Grandma & Mama Tori
Jax, was a man. He wasn't supposed to get all emotional. Or care that much about knowing that Izzy was going to be walking up the aisle any minute. Hmm. Nope. He was Head Auror for crying out loud. He rolled his eyes at himself, gave Wes a caring nudge with his elbow before he moved to stand between Van and Gabe.
Ahem. Pull yourself together Tanner.
He looked over the crowd and had time to smile at both Alicia and Kyle before the music changed and the doors opened to admit the Bridal procession. He smiled as he watched both Legend and his brand-new YATIL, Emily walking down the aisle. They looked stunning - and proud to be included. As was he.
Then came the bridesmaids. Alysson and Althea he knew, he didn't know the third - but irregardless, they all looked gorgeous. he smiled as he looked at Izzy next. She looked completely stunning and he suddenly felt bad for every other female in the room - no-one would complete with her.. not that that was a bad thing. She'd pout if anyone stole her lime-light today.
However, he had to bit the inside of his cheek to stop from laughing at the priest's voice. Oh, his cheek would sore by the end of this service.
Demetrius; Bride; Groom; Priest; Some Evelyn too =)

Alexandria had simply nodded at Demetrius saying it was weird being here and she let her eyes wander about the room. Considering Sherman didn't seem interested in talking to her but was fine with talking to Demetrius. Whatever. It gave her a chance to take in the decor and the others who entered. Ooh! There was Evelyn! And she had a plus one in tow with her! Good for her! Giving her co-worker a friendly smile, her eyes continued to gaze around the room to ... lots of unfamiliar faces. Including a nervous looking young chap. Ring boy? Why else would he be so nervous, seeing as he wasn't the groom? Having the responsibility of holding onto expensive rings though....
And then, that music. The music that either made the wedding or tore it apart, depending on the bride. If it was her, as it had been a couple years ago, it tore it apart. It wasn't from lack of love. Or maybe it was; she didn't really know. Which is why she was here, in Britain, and not still in Australia. How could she marry someone though, if she didn't even truly know herself?
But this wasn't about her. Or her almost-wedding.
This was about Isobel. And gosh, she looked stunning!
She didn't even have to force a smile at the bride as she made her way down the aisle. And she definitely didn't have to force a smile when the priest began in THAT voice. She DID have to fight not to laugh though, as she breathlessly stood and turned toward the entrance, instinctively grabbing Demetrius' arm.

As he was waiting silently for the ceremony to begin, Konrad threw a quick look here and there, only to see if he'd recognize anyone, but he had no luck. Eh, no worries, that's what Roxanne was there for. Taking a glimpse at the groom, he couldn't help but smile when he noticed how nervous the man looked. He was sure it would all go away when his bride was there, though.
An interesting arrival had the priest, but Konrad ignored that, although his funny way of speaking made him chuckle silently.
Just when the preist said the words, he stood up with a large smile plastered on his face, turning around to see the bride who, of course, looked wonderful. He was sort of glad that if he'd ever get married, he'd be standing there in the front, waiting. Even though that was the most awful part, waiting for her to show up, he surely wouldn't have liked so many pairs of eyes staring. Hehe.

Julia was watching, for that was all that she could do to be on the good books, alright. The place was beautiful and so were the bride and groom. The decorations and arrangements, she found herself staring at them. And not to mention the people. All had arrived in style. MLE staffs, so stern as they are seen by outsiders, weren't that strict were they? Everyone was enjoying. Julia saw if she could spot any known face in the crowd.

There could be a fire raging around the room and Isobel would not have noticied it. For the one person that had her attention was Wesley. He looked pretty fantastic in his suit. Izzy had told him a long time ago that she loved seeing him one. That bow tie was rather amusing though, and Wes was surely loving wearing that. Izzy pretty much bet on the fact that the wedding wouldn't be over 5 minutes and he would've taken it off. Or at least undone it anyway. But enough about thoughts of that. She needed to concentrate on getting to the alter before she like fell over in this dress. That was pretty easy to be honest.
Half way there. Half way to finally being able to call Wesley her husband. And she hadn't fallen over yet. Perfect. Her dad was also being pretty tolerable too. So everything was going perfect. The smile on her face really couldn't be bigger. She really was so happy. And now she was at the alter. "Hi..." She mused with a little smile. Finally. It was time. Finally.

Gabriel's conversation with Wes was cut short when the music started. Straightening himself up, he moved slightly to give Jax room to get into place, before turning his head to look towards the doors. As they opened and Isobel walked in, he glanced at Wes and a little grin crossed his lips. The nerves were back. But she did look so beautiful. And Althea looked...different.
But his thoughts on the attire of the bridesmaids was interrupted when the priest began speaking. Gabe's eye twitched in the corner, and he turned his gaze on the man at the front of the room. Seriously? They had to stand there and not laugh through this? Right. Biting the bottom lip it is.
Demetrius just kept nodding to everything Sherman was saying. He did not really even care if Evelyn's plus one was looking at him. All Demetrius was doing was annoying Evelyn like usual. He was more focused on the wedding and see how it turned out.
He turned to see the bride make her way down the aisle and he could not help but smile. The music was just right and the priest looked outrageous. While watching the priest, Demetrius felt someone grabbing his arm. He turned back to see it was Alexandria. Well OK then, Demetrius did not mind at all that Alexandria was grabbing his arm and he acted as this happens to him all the time.Which it did. So he turned back to watch the rest of the wedding.

William shifted in his seat as the music started, turning his head from staring at the decorations to staring at the entrance to the wedding. He didn't know ANY of these people, other than Seren and Dash, whom he'd lost sight of a long time ago, and he was kind of worried that maybe Alysson had left him here and then run off?
But no, nope, there she was now. And WOW did she look GORGEOUS! William's eyes only briefly lingered on the bride in the too-poofy dress; mostly, his eyes were focused on Aly and HEY LOOK, THEA! Heheh so they were BOTH bridesmaids! That was cool. They had friends in common now.
Feeling much more relaxed now that his date reason for attending this wedding was in sight, Willy let out a little happy sigh and slid down lower into his seat. "This should be nice," he found himself commenting to the young blonde beside him. A very nice wedding.
Just as long as Alysson didn't get any ideas about it. And as long as she didn't catch the bouquet. He was okay with weddings otherwise.

Wes found his hands tingling a little with giddy anticipation as Izzy got closer and closer to the altar. It was like being back in Sydney during Christmastime, when he'd get to pick ONE present to open on Christmas Eve and the others had to be saved for Christmas Day. Heh. Izzy was the right present he'd picked, yup yup.
Taking her hands as she approached, he resisted the urge to kiss her right there and instead settled for a simple, whispered, "Hi!" back. He only briefly took his eyes off his bride to glance at the priest, who was UUUGUHGGH some kind of ugly, and instead went back to staring happily, hopelessly at Iz.
The priest cleared his throat and flashed his gappy smile at the assembled, waiting for the music to finish up before he began his usual little speech. He always liked to say a little something at the start of each ceremony, you know, to get the guests in the mood for a wedding.
"Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooodaaay," he began, holding his wrinkly hands up over the heads of the bride and the groom. "Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam WIFIN a dweam..."
Wesley had started tuning the clergyman out as soon as the man opened his mouth, preferring to grin at Izzy instead of listening to the man's ridiculous accent. Even though they were in a Muggle hotel in front of hundreds of witnesses, he was tempted to pull out his wand and put the poor geezer out of his misery --- or at least, put everyone's eardrums out of their misery...

Simon heard the music first, grabbing his attention as it was supposed to as well as everybody else gathered there. The wedding was begining in ernest and there was a change in the atmosphere of the room. Turning to look, he noticed a few more arrivals, giving a polite smile to both Josh and Evelyn as he saw them. Professor Bentley was there as well. Then his gazed passed near Ali...and Kyle and did his best not to stare at his girlfriend.
Thankfully he was excused by the presence of the bridal party coming down the aisle. First Legend, inwardly keeping his amusement within himself. Then Emily who looked very nice...and calm...and not fire-threatening.
Okay...back to the rest of the group for Sanity.
Alysson he knew, the hit wizard-sister of Professor Zookara looking nice and then two others whom he didn't. And finally his former boss looking radiant as the bride she currently was. Simon obediantly stood as the priest directed them, catching the ackwardness of the man's voice and kept his cool. It wasn't until the women were at the front and they were allowed to sit again that the priest spoke again and made the YATI want to laugh bemused. Instead squeezing a fingertip absently.

Isobel's cheeks were going to hurt from all this smiling. Not that she couldn't not smile. It was her wedding day. She had to smile. Because she was happy, and needed to look happy right. Aww. Hand holding. She gave Wesley's hand a reassuring squeeze, having a feeling that he was probably feeling nervous. And aww. He was staring at her. And had a weird look on his face. Did she have a look like that? Were they supposed to look silly on their wedding day. Hopefully he wouldn't pull that face on the photos.
oh. And now the priest was speaking. Maybe she should've met the priest. Because well. He was pretty hilarous. Silly wedding planner. Couldn't get get a priest that could kind of speak. Isobel had to concentrate on Wesley a little, not that it was too hard, otherwise she probably would've ended up laughing her head off at how the priest spoke. Oh dear. She gave Wesley a little grin. Oh. They'd be taking about this later, seeing as they had something rather more important to do now. You know. Like get married.

Now with that comment he couldn't help but crack a smile. "Shh. You don't need to translate my words to their real meanings." Not for everyone to hear at least. Exposing him and everything.
As the music started, Dash turned his head, his voice dropping even quitter. "The majority are MLE's i'm guess. Truly, I don't even know for sure." He don't name most of the faces in the room, really just the ones up front. "I'll tell you about them."All about them too.
The bridal party was small, and so there wasn't much to watch, and easy to spot them. Catching her eye Dash offered a small smile, almost encouraging. Maybe. It faded quickly though when there was no response and Dash simply leaned back in the chair. The icy attitude was nothing new. Whatever.
His arm was itching as he turned his attention to the bride.
"You don't know them?" Rina asked aloud, not all that bothered with keeping her voice down. She could be SET ON FIRE and most people would still be all enthralled with the briiiiiiiiiide.
If bridey bird only knew how this all ended. Rina wasn't going to be the one to tell her, but it also desensitized her to this whole... dum de dum bride worship.
"Well go on. Tell me. Start with the people that you hate most."
Rina hated the priest the most. What sort of jacked up nonsense was THAT? Did he have gauze in his mouth? They PAID this man to stand up and make a mockery of himself? Disgusting. Disgusting. He was probably spitting on the bride.
...on second thought, that was kind of funny...

His mission was almost complete.
Neptune wished the man beside her would be still. He kept moving and then he was sinking, and for some reason he seemed worried. What would a man in the crowd have to worry about? It was surprise that they had bumped into each other .. after so many months. And him to invite her. It was a surprising turn of events, no doubt.
She was nervous to see people she had worked with for a small while again. But of course, that was not going to cloud her excitement for the occasion. After all, she was here with Rafael. He did owe her this. And a dance, if she remembered correctly. Which made her bump his shoulder lightly with his - motioning at her arm and his.
He should really offer her his arm now. Yes.
"A gentleman never makes a lady wait," she added in an easy tone.
That comment earned her a sideways glance and a ghost of a smirk. "I think an announcement would have sufficed." He murmured. Then he'd be informed, and they would still get the gift he was sure they wanted from him. Albeit it might have been.... smaller somewhat with just an announcement.
He didn't forget that he owed her a dance either, just avoided the entire subject.
Rafa offered her his arm when the music started and the bride came through looking lovelier that he'd ever seen her around the ministry and then sat with her once the ceremony began. Talking through event such as this was rude, but... well that priest. Honestly.
He glanced back at Constance and gave her a knowing disapproval look.
This was going to be longer than he thought.

It was NOT okay to look like that. Not now. Not when the ceremony had just started and everybody was looking their way.
Right. Smiling. She could do that. She sighed and gave Alysson the slightest of nods.
...
....
No really. She could. Althea fixed her eyes on Isobel and forced herself to smile. Tense sort of smile, but it was a smile nonetheless. But at least she could shoot murderous looks at this priest. What was WRONG with him? She was so tempted to just...get her wand... and wiggle it... a little... fix that... speech impediment...
... but she refrained. Thea had to settle for angling herself away from the priest as best as she could. And you know, trying to do this smiling thing.
Because weddings were SO HAPPY.

Talking when you are not suppose to.
Constance couldn't help but offer a grin to Rafael when he gave her that look. She couldn't help but bump her shoulder lightly to his. "Loosen up, grumpy!" she whispered.
Nonetheless, she gave a small gesture of zipping her lip and concentrated on the ceremony. The bride looked lovely, as she should - because it was her day. Funny how it's always said that it was the bride's day, where did the groom fit in then? As per usual, her mind was drifting to other places - ....
A small sigh escaped her lips when she remembered how she was asked to walk the aisle for someone too and not so long ago. Constance was sure she wouldn't have looked as happy as the current bride looked. Closing her eyes, Constance concentrated on not being nostalgic. That is why she preferred talking. When you talk - you don't remember.
And then the priest spoke. "What the - .." Constance could not believe her ears and tried to stifle a giggle but failed.

Heh. The Priest. I think Sherman's found his soulmate xD.
Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button
D'awwh. How sweet. Izzy and the man at the altar had silly looks plastered on their faces. Sherman wondered if this was because they were excited or because of the marriage priest's funny accent. He guessed that it was a mixture of both, for that look couldn't be achieved very easily. Hmph. As the ceremony started, Sherman looked around for more familiar faces. He could only spot his fellow employees, and— ooh! That Bridesmaid over there looked familiar. The old man shuddered; nearly all experiences with women were bad ones. Now, what was her name? err.. Alysson! Yes, the one who had seen him crash into the Telephone Booth and fall off a bench. A bad day for his ego.
The old man shook his head as he tried to clear his head of disturbing thoughts. Instead, he focused on the priest's voice— he rather liked it! It would make this marriage much more distinguishable from the other he had attended. But no one else seemed to love it as much as he did. One of the Bridesmaids was shooting murderous looks at the priest. He'd have to stay away from that one, she looked scary. Eek. Sherman shook his head again, closed his eyes, and listened to the funny voice as the ceremony continued.

Jaxton wasn't one for weddings... in fact he'd never actually been present at a wedding where he hadn't been involved in the Wedding Party... which always meant standing in a tux, straight backed and smiling through-out the ceremony... instead of getting to sit down like everyone else. However - throughout all of that, he wouldn't have changed anything...
Except for Damien's wedding. Humph. He wanted to be there for it. He glared slightly at his best friend across the room and then smirked slightly when he caught his eye. Then, silently, Gabe appeared next to him and he grinned at him - see. American's stuck together. Even in the UK. Yup.
"You doing okay?" He asked Wesley finally, clapping him on the back. "Don't listen to Van about forever being too long or whatever - you and I both know that forever isn't going to be long enough for you and Iz." Sure - he wasn't a romantic, but the only people who could hear him right now were three of his best friends - so what did he have to loose except bragging rights?
Nothing.
his eyes flicked over the room as he tried to find Alicia and Kyle in the crowds - he knew they were there somewhere... he just needed to find them...

Alicia smiled over to Jaxton and gave him a little bit of a don’t bite your cheek too hard look as she heard the Priest’s voice. Oh it was especially special, she kept her face taught and in a smile that was half between laughter and tears. She just looked like she was emotionally enjoying the wedding not about to burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter.
She put her hand on Kyle’s knee and gave it a slight squeeze she knew she wasn’t all that happy with weddings all the time. Well the girl was awkward and Alicia. Alicia remembered when she was at Aurelie’s wedding, it was beautiful. She gulped remembering that the girl who had been there was right next to her and didn't remember.
That was good at least.
Still the Priest was giving her a hard go and not laughing.

Be nice...and behave.
Kyle smiled when Alicia held her knee giving her a little nod, telling her it was alright. Her breath hitched slightly when she saw just how beautiful Izzy was – and the way that Wes was looking at her.
It was enough to make a girl cry.
When the she saw Simon looking over at her she just blushed tucked her head down and turned to look at the couple once more. Then the priest began to talk. She had to bite the inside of her cheek in order not to laugh much like a certain friend of the family. Though she had no idea he was doing that.
She smiled though at the utter sight of him she felt a little awkward after all – she was right next to Alicia and she didn’t know…and neither did Jaxton who was watching. Not good. She smiled awkwardly and sighed biting her lip and kept watching the wedding party with utter attention.
Oh good god the preist was going to make her cheek bleed.

Hehe.
Roxanne couldn't help but chuckle at the preist's way of speaking. Which she quickly turned into a cough because, well, it was a wedding and it wasn't polite to laugh at people (to their face anyway).
As the wedding really, truly began, she couldn't help but reach for Konrad's hand and give a small smile.
And then the bride was walking down the isle and Roxanne was trying not to gasp. Isobel's dress was stunning and she looked beautiful in it. She couldn't help but wonder if she'd ever look that amazing in a wedding dress. But nope, now wasn't the time for such thoughts...

Oh, dear LORD.
While he might have burst into uncontrollable laughter the moment the priest opened his mouth to speak, Konrad froze there instead, his eyes widening as the old man kept babbling in that... rather unique accent. Or maybe it was a foreign language? The good thing was that the soon-to-be husband and wife didn't seem to focus on his words, both of them grinning at each other like that. It only made him wonder whether he'll ever get to this wonderful moment, since things didn't really work out well a while after he got engaged. They didn't work at all, in fact.
What brought a large smile on his face, however, was Roxanne's hand that somehow made its way to his, which was a welcome distraction from the priest's words. He didn't want to be rude and not listen, but really, the best thing was to at least try and focus on something else, because laughing in the middle of the ceremony... well, that shouldn't happen.
So, clasping his fingers with hers, he gave her a soft squeeze and a large smile before turning to look at the couple. Right. Focus on them, and not on the priest.

Wes felt reassured by the hand squeeze and realized his shoulders were slowly relaxing and his hearing was coming back. Just in time, too, as the priest apparently was giving his shoulder a gentle poke.
N'aww wouldja lookit that. The groom was so in love with the bride that he wasn't even aware Nuptschallz was talking to him.
"Ahem. Weswey. Do you take dis woman, Isowel Mawia, to we your wawfully wedded wife? To have and to howld fwom dis day foward, for bedder or for worse, for wicher or for poorwer, in swickness and in healf, as wong as you both shall wive?"
Wes shook himself and gave both of Isobel's hands a squeeze back. "I do."
The priest smiled proudly and turned to the bride. Very good, very good. No objections so far, even.
"Isobel, do you take dis man, Franklin Wesley, to we your wawfully wedded hwusband? To have and to howld fwom dis day foward, for bedder or for worse, for wicher or for poorwer, in swickness and in healf, as wong as you both shall wive?"

Oh, he was... being patted, was he? William raised a brow at the lady beside him and nearly commented on teaching about magical creatures, not being one, but stopped himself as the priest opened his big mouth.
And oh Merlin was it a big mouth! His speech thing seemed to go on for ages, and although it was amusing, Willy's short attention span seemed to shorten the longer this man talked. They were doing vows or something, but he found himself staring more at Alysson and wondering how she wasn't laughing already than actually listening to the ceremony.
"Fifty galleons someone casts on the priest," he whispered to the blonde with a tiny smirk. Heh. He sure didn't have 50 galleons but you know... WWW was a gambler. An unlucky one.
