| elephant-astic•wanderlust•stay in the ninedaaays the original Taco Belle•look at the flowers✿ Of course she still looked angry. She was the blondest, tiniest grump in the room and it was all Catherine's fault. It wasn't fair that she was upset when Cecelia was the one who was supposed to pick and choose which twin she wanted to hang out with and exclude the other and that made her stomach feel icky and that made her want to have a nap and not spend this visit having fun like she was supposed to. It was really unfortunate how badly the brunette had ruined everything, wasn't it?
Cecelia couldn't even decide what she wanted to paint, so she just aggressively smeared colors all over in an obvious attempt to showcase the inner turmoil going on inside of her body. It was all very artistic, she thought, until she made a big hole in her paper....
This was Catherine's fault too, did she know?

| Arts TRANSPONSTER! Cecelia still looked very angry. Catherine simply looked back down and continued with her painting, which was getting calmer and calmer by the second. Peace and quiet did help a lot.
Truth be told: Catherine knew it was not her fault at all. Cecelia had gone there to visit her and shouldn't even have mentioned her brother. Why bother? It wasn't his turn. In fact, it was never his turn to play with Cecelia alone. Sure, he could play with them every once in a while, but Catherine also had to have time where Cecelia and herself played together on their own. Because Noah was a boy and boys were stupid and annoying. Didn't Cecelia know that?
The young brunette stopped painting for a second, looked back up at her best friend and considered that thought. Maybe Cecelia didn't know it. She didn't have a brother their age. Sammy was small and still kind of cute and he wasn't annoying yet?. Catherine knew for sure that if Cecelia had a brother their age she wouldn't want him to spend all of the time with them either. Boys their age were so annoying!
...Catherine blinked when the blonde made a big hole in her... what was she even painting? Had that been intentional? "What's that supposed to be?" She asked, her voice completely back to normal as if she hadn't been super irritated just five minutes ago.
But of course she wasn't going to mention what had just happened. That had been sorted. Though... maybe her question was going to open up a huge can of worms. So Catherine blinked her big brown eyes again as she gazed up at Cecelia, waiting for her answer. |

| Jedi Master•General Iroh•Java Junkie• King ♛ Stefan •Mycroft Holmes•Dragon Lord•Druid Boy Mackenzie was on his way back from the barn to pick Xchylar from his perch when he saw Catherine's visitor arrive. He'd seen her around before but never bothered as he was too busy napping away. He's just 3 and 3/4. Almost 4, actually. And so with Xchylar the eagle owl on his shoulder, and a bag of chicken nuggets that Noah brought home for him before speeding off to see his football gang, he quickened his pace towards the house. He was, he supposed, Noah's official burger-run buddy since he couldn't exactly ask Catherine to be his partner in crime. Although Mackenzie could talk, he sure can keep a secret about their adventure. He liked the thrill of getting out of the house and getting his favorite snack along the way, only today, Noah thought it'll be too risky to do it with him since he was going to go off with his friends after.
The little boy and youngest Mordaunt offspring followed the two girls quietly inside the house while also looking out for another company. He still wasn't sure about Cecelia as she was the total opposite of Catherine. Gifted with a heightened skill in observation (to make up for the almost mute trait), he felt that something wasn't right. How could she tolerate Cecelia, but not Scarlett? Or Noah?
When the curious boy reached the twins' bedroom, Mackenzie quietly took a peek first, only to see them...quietly painting. Things seem to be normal, but the energy coming from the girl next to his sister was all dark clouds and thunder. Another observation that clashed with Cecelia's clothing.
Mackenzie gently pushed the door open and allowed himself inside. In his baggy clothing and untied shoes, the little boy stood a good distance away from the two girls to closely observe them. Bright green eyes darted from Catherine, and then to Cecelia.
They were exceptionally quiet today, weren't they? Well, maybe except for the sound of the paper bag being opened as Mackenzie kept his gaze on the two of them while fishing out a piece of chicken nugget with his tiny hand.
So far, it was an interesting show to look at. Even Xchylar seemed curious.

| elephant-astic•wanderlust•stay in the ninedaaays the original Taco Belle•look at the flowers✿ What was that supposed to be? Cecelia frowned and tightened her grip on her paintbrush, channeling all her bad feelings into that object so she didn't say something that she didn't mean. 'S a mistake," She grumbled, pushing the paper away from her. Her painting was ruined and her mood was ruined and Catherine was acting like everything was fine and Cecelia wanted it to be fine, but it didn't FEEL fine, and that bothered her a LOT.
Looking anywhere but at the brunette, blue eyes fell on the smallest Mordaunt who was very good at sneaking, apparently. When had he even arrived? "Hi Mackenzie, Xchylar." Normally an enthusiastic greeting would've been followed up by a grin and some cheek pinching, but today didn't feel like a cheek pinching kind of day. Lucky Mackenzie.

| 20. Mugglefy your post - no reference to anything magical in your post. Arts TRANSPONSTER! Catherine noticed the exact moment when her youngest sibling walked into the room. She didn't have to look straight at him, it was enough to see his moving from the corner of her eye.
Since he was her quiet sibling, Catherine didn't mind his presence. It wasn't like he was going to annoy them to no end, like Noah would, or eat the entire room in one go, like Scarlett would. Mackenzie was fine as long as he didn't pull any stunts. Catherine would be watching from her peripheral vision.
She was still looking at Cecelia when the girl explained her work. Her gaze rested upon the girl's hand and her hard grip on the brush and Catherine blinked as she looked up at her best friend's face again. She was avoiding eye contact and her greeting Mackenzie didn't sound like Cecelia at all, so Catherine kept watching her. "It's not bad." Not necessarily. Catherine had seen a lot of what some people called 'art' and sometimes it looked... weird like that. As if something had gone wrong. Cecelia could use that argument. "There's more parchment there if you want." She said, eyes still fixed on the blonde's face as she pointed to a bookshelf behind Mackenzie.
Speaking of... Catherine finally fixed her hard gaze on her brother. "Be careful with the floor, Mackenzie." She told him. She'd make him clean it if he got her side of the room dirty, he should know that. |

| Jedi Master•General Iroh•Java Junkie• King ♛ Stefan •Mycroft Holmes•Dragon Lord•Druid Boy So far, the two girls were nothing but a bore to the almost-four-year-old. Their painting activity was boring, mainly because he couldn't see what was being painted. He too wanted to know why Cece wasn't acting like Noah that day. What happened? What did he miss?
Mackenzie was on his second nugget when Catherine turned to him and told him to be careful with the floor. Why? Will it eat him up if he made a mess on it? And if he did mess it up, so what? Isn't that the reason why they have a house-elf around? To clean the house? To clean up after them? Little Mackenzie's old soul was confused. Catherine was being...silly, and stupid.
And so, to prove that it's okay to mess up the floor, Mackenzie took a bite of his second nugget, dipped it into the sauce and dropped the nugget on the floor on purpose. The little boy looked at it intently, observing if something will happen.
...
Nothing.
He wasted half a nugget to prove a point. And with a bit of regret, he shot Catherine a death glare. It was HER fault. Hmp.

| elephant-astic•wanderlust•stay in the ninedaaays the original Taco Belle•look at the flowers✿ Cecelia feared Catherine might be losing her sight because did she not SEE the large hole in her parchment? The blonde frowned at it AGAIN and set the paintbrush down, ignoring the pain and stiffness she was feeling after holding it so tightly. Maybe starting over wouldn't be the worst thing and she'd feel a bit better once she had a fresh start, she hoped. Pushing back from the table, she made her way to the bookshelf.
She was only half paying attention to the way Catherine was speaking to Mackenzie, but she DID catch the aftermath, and she couldn't help the way her mouth dropped open when the small Mordaunt purposely dropped the nugget on to the floor. Setting the fresh parchment down, the Summers girl looked from Mackenzie to Catherine, and waited...
and then laughed because WOW, he was going to be in BIG trouble now!

| 36. What is your character’s biggest flaw? Describe it in a post. Arts TRANSPONSTER! Catherine brushed off some of her hair off her face when Cecelia got up. Her gaze followed her best friend as she went to get more parchment, but she did catch Mackenzie's naughtiness from the corner of her eye.
The young brunette gave him a hard stare as her brother looked down at the nugget dipped in sauce that was now on the floor. Did he think that was funny? Did he think messing up her side of the bedroom was funny? Did he think Catherine and Cecelia would laugh at his silly antics? Did he think she was going to get up and clean up after him? Or did he think she was going to make him do it? "Calen is not-" Her sentence was cut short by Cecelia's laughing. The girl shot her best friend a long look because she wasn't exactly helping the situation.
Yes, Catherine understood it. They were both making fun of her. Typical. She took a deep breath and pursed her lips ever so slightly, averting her gaze and staring down at her watercolour once again. Fine. They wanted to make a fool out of her, she understood it. "You can go find Noah now." She spat without looking up. Catherine wasn't going to join in on their game.
Taking a tentative calming breath, her frown softened considerably and she started working on her art again as if she couldn't hear or see either of them. |
