"well i work in magical law Enforcement in the Misuse of muggle artifacts compliance officer, It's not the most thrilling job but going on raids is always fun, im trying to work my way up to get into the department of mysteries though." she paused and sat up a bit and took a sip of her wine before laying back down. " no two people's mysteries are the same so of course they'll be diffrent." she looked back into his eyes. " only if you'll give me the time to figure them out." she smiled at him

Maxwell smiled at Taylor. "I was just telling Minnie, that when i went back to America, i'd want you to come and she'd be welcome to as well. I can't deny an american a chance to go home."

Minerva got a bit excited. "Oh that would be great. Taylor we could have so much fun in New York, there is so much shopping and things to see. Damon maybe you could come with us too." Minerva stopped and looked at Maxwell apologetic, but then maybe Maxwell will like the idea of her liking Damon. "Well I mean if it would be ok with you Maxwell."

Minerva couldn't help but smile at him when he told her no problem. She kept looking at him, until she realized he was in a completely different conversation and she was now just that weird person looking at a boy starry eyed and she quickly looked away.

Damon shook his head, "I'm to young to even start thinking about that; plus with my luck... he'll end up just like his grandfather... or his great uncle."
Chelle shrugged, "I always followed the rules growing up." She giggled, "I never broke them, so I don't know."

Rowan smiled, "I think you're going to have more than enough time to get to figure them out." He reached and wrapped his hand around hers.

America? He remembered how busy the city was, but time to spend with his friends? That would always be fun, "I'd love to join you." He smiled, "Though going out and about in New York isn't exactly thrilling to me; spending time with my two of my closest friends should be enjoyable. As long as Maxwell doesn't mind me tagging along."

"Oh that sounds fun." She smiled then to Minerva, "Yeah i agree. I love shopping and it would be fun to hang with you more."
Puck laughed and smiled, "What is so bad if he ends up like me?"
"Puck it is obvious why he would be worry about his kids ending up like you." To Damon, "But what is bad about me?"

Maxwell took a quick moment to think. Someone to keep Damon away from Taylor? She likes him, maybe she can distract him... "I think that's a great idea, it'll be fun!" He said excitedly. "We can see the parks and all the museums."

Damon shook his head to his father and his uncle, "You both..." He chuckled, "I don't think I could deal with a child who acted like you two for even a second."
He smiled to Taylor and Max on the other side of the table, "I'm sure it'll be enjoyable."

Tay was surpised that Maxwell agreed to the Damon thing but didnt think more about it, "That sounds really fun." She smiled.
Both Puck and SAge stuck their tongue out at Damon and turned toward Chelle.

Minerva was really feeling excited now. "Oh this will be so great if we would get to go." A concert with Damon and then a possible trip as well she glanced up with him, but looked away quickly. There was no way the smile was leaving her face anytime soon.

Millie turned a shade of pink when Rowan held her hand. " im happy your giving me the time to figure them out." she then lifted her head reached over and gave him a quick kiss. "Thank you, not too many people give me chances."

Ariana noted everyone was making plans for new york and concerts and what not. " ill be here like a sitting duck dont worry. she said to everyone.

"I have to agree." Damon nodded, "Spending time with you three would be enjoyable." He did include Max, just because he did agree to let him go; which did shock him. So he would be polite... For now.

"I can't see why." He blushed when she kissed him, "And I have a feeling I'm going to have fun figuring you out as well."

Tay smiled, "It would be interesting."

Minerva looked over at Ariana, "I'm sorry, I didn't think you really wanted to talk to me earlier. I didn't mean to not include you. Do you like the States?"

She couldn't get the smile off her face. "Oh Damon have you ever been to the States? It's so much fun." she missed home so much and didn't realize it until being with this great family and friends.

Maxwell looked over at Ariana. "I sent you an Owl asking you to go, but i never heard back so i thought you didn't want to." He turned to Damon. "It should be." He said pulling the compass out under the table and hoping Taylor wouldn't see. Damon nodded, "A few times." He sighed, "Though I prefered to go to Norris in Tennessee than to New York. I like the peacefullness of the woods."

Damon did catch a small glimpse of a smirk, he couldn't help but wondering what Maxwell was sceming, It's my birthday... he wouldn't try anything today... I hope "So Min, have you ever been? To Norris of course, I know you've been over seas."

"theres really not that much to know about me really. what you see is what you get kind of." she gave a shy smile, there was the story of Peter, but he didnt need to know about him, not yet anyway.

Ariana Looked at Max like he lost his mind. " You never sent me an Owl max!" ive never been to the states Minnie, though my aunt grew up there an visits often." she said not giving too much of her life story away

Minerva couldn't believe her ears. 'Norris? You have been to Norris? My muggle grandparents live in Cattleburg which isn't to far from Norris. It's where I lived while dad was deployed." She couldn't help but look at Damon and just smile. She shook her head a bit and looked down at the table. Min he likes Taylor, he would never like you she told herself.

Maxwell looked at Ariana the same way. "I did too send you an Owl, that ruddy bird of yours just hates me, he probably lost in on purpose."

Minerva smiled at the girl, maybe she would want to become friends. "The states are really nice. You would love it." then something hit her. "Max is this the friend you told me about that put something in Lafay's drink? Are you?"

Rowan smiled at her, "Everyone has some type of mystery under them. If they didn't, there would be no fun in getting to know people. More than likely, it'll be something small; a secret they'd rather keep just that."

"Yeah, my mother took me there a few summers back." He smiled remembering that summer, "Min, you are something else!" He meant it in a good way, "Is there nothing we can't seem to find something in common with? I mean, we're in the same house, we've both lost someone, or in your case multiple, people we care about; same music interest. We both have a sense of style that doesn't seem normal to most; and we don't really care what others seem to think of us." He chuckled, "I think we're shaping up to be pretty good friends."

"Yes I think maybe we were meant to become friends." she smiled up at him. "I'm so glad we did. Maybe a trip to Gatlinburg or Norris should be in the future. We could always stay with my grandparents if you can handle hiding that your a wizard."

Maxwell nodded and gestured to Ariana. "Ariana Logan, Slytherin house and a personal hero of mine for slipping something to Lafay and getting away with it." He said excitedly.

Damon smiled, "Or you could come with me and camp out under the stairs where my mother first took me to the lake." He smiled, "It's absolutely beautiful. The stars, a fire, smores. All you needing really is a sleeping bag and a tent. It's actually quite relaxing."

Ariana continued to look at max like he was mad. "Salazar hasnt left my house in ages max!?"

"Oh Max it wasnt that great." she said being sarcastic.

Ariana couldnt help but smile, "guilty." she said raising her right hand.

Millie grinned, "I like the way you see things Rowan."

Rowan smiled, "Thank you." He looked over, the sun was starting to set, they should probably head back to the house... but he truely didn't want to. He just wanted to lay there, hand and hand with her, "I'm sure you have an intersting view as well."
