Henry smiled. "So welcome to the family, cuz."

Minerva was happy to see Ameliah "Hey Ameliah nice hair. So I have to tell you how much my grandparents freaked with my hair and the snake bites. I decided I liked them so much I didn't want to take them out. I have to thank Call next time I see her." she giggled then she saw Taylor "Hey Tay how are you? Enjoying your summer?" Minerva looked around for Damon, but hadn't seen him yet.

Ameliah laughed. "Can't say it wasn't expected of them to freak." Shoot, I guess I'll get Call later...

"I'm good and yeah i got to spend a lot of time with my family." She grinned, "What about you?" She noticed that Minerva was looking around for someone and assumed that she was looking for the birthday boy. "Minerva he is over there on the couch by my mother. He had broke his leg but mother had it, but he still has a limp." She grimaced and pointed to Damon.

"Minnie!" Damon stood and limped over her, "How've you been?"

Minerva smiled at Ameliah "Yeah it was, but oh well they are over it now. Do you think Call will be here, I didn't see her on the train at all." Minerva was starting to think maybe she only made Call up in her mind or something.

"Well that' good Taylor. You and Max been hanging out a lot? Oh yeah I have enjoyed my summer for the most part. It's been an adjustment for the most part." she was hoping she wasn't to obvious in looking for Damon, but I guess this was his party so of course she would be looking for him, but then she frowned a bit. "Broke hi leg? How did he do that? Is he ok?" Minerva looked to the couch to see if she could see Damon by Taylor mom.

Millie noticed how quickly Rowan jumped up to met her"Oh Its fine really." she said as she blushed when he kissed her hand

Ariana Noticed the only other person she knew besides Damon were taylor and of course max. "Hi Taylor, max. HAppy BirthdayAsh!"

Ameliah bit her lip. It was time. "Erm... Could I... talk to you? In private?" she asked nervously.

Minerva took her eyes from the couch back to Ameliah and noticed she looked worried. 'Sure Ameliah everything ok?"

Tay shrugged, "YEah i guess we have i mean we live 20 miles apart and we are neighbors ontop of our parents hanging out a lot." She smiled, "That is good that you enjoyed it for the most part. Yeah he is fine... it is his story to tell." She smiled at Ariana, "Hey Ariana, did you ever find your bracelet?" Taylor smiled sweetly at her.

Rowan smiled and walked back over to her, "Are you still wanting to go for dinner sometime?"
Damon nodded, "Thanks Ariana."

Ameliah continued to chew her lip as she seized Minnie by the wrist. Mins needed to know. She took Minerva over to an empty corner where they couldn't be heard. "It's about Callidora..."

Minerva smiled and waved at Damon, but she didn't want to interrupt him with his family so she figured she would wait until he was free. Then she looked back at Ameliah "About Callidora, what about her?"

Ameliah sighed. "I know you'll hate me for this..."

Ariana Frowned when her bracelet was brought up "No, Not yet. Max is still looking in the lake though."


Millie smiled " If you are still up for it. then yes." she said.


"your veryy verrryy welcomeeee." Ariana said as she bowed to the birthday boy.

Minerva looked at her in curiosity and worry. "What do you mean I'll hate you, I thought we got over that. Did you do something wrong and how does this involve Call?"

Tay grimaced, "Sorry i didnt mean to upset you." She twisted her braid a little bit.

Ameliah sighed again, her heart feeling it was about to explode. "Callidora... is me. I was about to go in the bathroom, but I heard you in there. I didn't want to have another row, so I used my potion to disguise myself. I'm sorry.... I just was tired of fighting with you. I know you'll hate me now." she said feeling guilty, looking to her feet.

"Oh, No it's fine Taylor really." Ariana Smiled to show that she was ok.

She gave Ariana a half smile, "Oka then since it is fine..." She fiddled with her braid more.

"Damon" Minnie said with a bit to much excitement she had the urge to hug her new friend, but stopped herself. "Happy Birthday" she handed him a small wrapped gift. She hoped he didn't have the book of poems yet, but when she saw it he thought of him for some reason. "I've been good, and how are you? What happened with your leg? Taylor said you broke it." she leaned a little closer just to whisper so no one else heard. "You weren't trying to one up Max or anything were you?" she giggled.


Minerva looked at her in shock, "You..you tricked me?" then all of the sudden she began to laugh. "That was a low thing to do, but it is pretty funny that you feared a fight with me so much you would pretend to be someone else. I think you are the first person to ever do that. Man my knew attitude really took effect with new people." she couldn't help but continue to laugh.

Rowan smiled, "Of course I am. We can sneak off later tonight even."

Ariana smiled "it really is fine Taylor i'm sure it'll be found." she patted taylor on the shoulder


Millie blushed "that'd be lovely actually."

Tay smiled at her, "Okay then...." She let out a giggle.

Damon chuckled, and shook his head, "Rowan and I got into an argument and it ended with us falling down the stairs... That reminds me... Remember when I told you I was an only child? Except for my step siblings."


Rowan smiled, "I thought it would be too, get away from the kids, and have supper with you. That's a double win."
