Plot: Antigone and Milo Kane have moved on after leaving the Ministry and Diagon Alley... Now married and leading a lovely life together this thread will serve as a place to share their lives together. They have now been married for a few years and are both pursuing different careers.

Background: Milo and Tiggy met while Milo was the owner and shopkeeper of Quality Quidditch Supplies and Tiggy was Head of the Department of Magical Education. They knew they loved one another but several men kept Tiggy from choosing the right one, her soulmate... Milo. After she ran off to travel... or simply ran from her troubles... Milo went into a different field of work (Super Secret stuff

). After Milo popped up on her doorstep not months after she returned back to her flat everything fell into place. They finally had what they wanted... one another.

Their home: A lovely two level home set out in the country. Four bedrooms (the master BR has a MASSIVE closet to house all of Tiggy's shoes and clothes) , 2 1/2 baths, LARGE kitchen with a nook, sitting room with lovely floor to ceiling windows overlooking their garden and grounds, a music room for Antigone, Milo's Batcave, and a large study and library. A lovely koi pond is near their gazebo in the center of their area of Zen. Hehe.

Antigone an Milo have just come home from their honeymoon and are getting moved into their new home.

Milo sighed with relief. There were no children coming to his house. Well not iminently anyway. He looked at Tiggy. "You want to have a kid? Really?" He knew that she couldn't have them, which did sadden him. He would've loved to have had a child with Tiggy. "I would love to adopt a child with you. Any age you want to."

"I have always wanted children. You know that I can't have any though so I thought maybe adopting one would be a good idea. I mean, there are tons of children that need good homes," she said sadly. She wanted nothing more than to give Milo children but her being barren kind of threw a wrench in the sprockets, so to speak. Her past was sketchy and she never truly told Milo why she couldn't have kids... just that she couldn't. Maybe it was getting close to time to come out with the truth.

She opened her mouth and shut it a few times, deciding that breakfast was not the right time for the conversation. "Splendid. I will do some research see what I can find out. I definitely want an older child... not a teenager yet though. And it would have to be a wizarding kid."

Milo wrapped his arms around Tiggy, squeezing her tightly. "Honey. The fact that you could never have children never stopped me wanting to be with you. I knew it was something I would have to forgo. It isn't a loss to me. I would rather spend all my money and time on you anyway. And if you want to adopt one, then I will gladly support you in the decision." He had put having children out of his mind. So this was a new topic to him.

He smiled, "I am happy with an older kid. Like 9 or 10. So we have a year before they go to Hogwarts." Maybe even younger, like 7 or 8.

Tiggy frowned slightly... it was HER decision... he would support her... it didn't sound much like he wanted a child at all really. He just wanted to please Antigone. Which, in retrospect, isn't a bad thing... but yeah.

She gave her wand another wave and their breakfast came zooming into the room. She didn't bother to tell him to watch his head this time. He would learn eventually or do the cooking himself.

Subject change... "I think I will wait until night fall and then go out to the back garden and start casting the defensive spells and concealment. In our line of work one can never be too careful you know," she mumbled as she caught her glass of juice in midair and took a swallow.

Milo caught his breakfast, with his hand, not the side of his head this time. "I don't think nightfall will stop them if they wanted to do something. Is there a spell that can create one way glass?" That might be a useful spell to use. Especially round the house.

Did she not want to talk about adopting anymore? Because he was willing to properly discuss it.

"I simply meant to do so when our neighbors weren't likely to happen by... I know I cast the Muggle Repelling Charm, but one can never be too careful, love. Oh that is an amazing idea. I can look into it... and if one doesn't exist I think I could create it... maybe," she mused as she picked at her food, not really eating it.

Her appetite was rather... slim now that Milo had unknowingly upset her. Sigh. She never wanted to be upset with him... and she wasn't upset WITH him or AT him... just at what he hadn't said. There was a difference. She wanted their adopting a child to be something that THEY did, not something she did and he went along with. THat was hogwash. Sigh again.

Milo nodded. Well that did make sense. In a round about way. "Well I do have brilliant ideas. Some times anyway." He smiled. He saw her picking at her food. Which was odd. She had said she was hungry. And now she wasn't. That mean that he had done something wrong.

"What did I say?" he sighed. He hadn't meant to upset her. And he didn't know how he had. "I'm sorry." He made little puppy dog eyes. He wanted her to forgive him.

Antigone smiled at her husband and made an "Mhm," sound in his direction. Sigh. He was brilliant and all and she should dote, but couldn't at the moment. She was not in the mood for playing doting wife. Placing her fork down she turned her blazing blue eyes to Milo and heaved a real sigh.

"Milo, I want our adopting a child to be something that WE do together... not something I suggest and you go along with because you think that will make me happy. You seemed as though that was the case. Not really into it, just kind of going along for my sake. It doesn't have to be something we do RIGHT away, but it is something I have to start researching right away. The adoption process could take years. I need to know you are fully on board before I start us down this road. And don't make those eyes at me, of course I forgive you, Milo," she said all of this in her business tone until the end statement. She caressed the last few words. She loved her husband very much. Very Very much.

Milo smiled. That's what had irked her. His wording. He really needed to improve that. "Tiggy. Honey. I said I would gladly support you, if you wanted to adopt. I had always thought having children was out of the question. I was just surprised to hear you had been thinking about adoption. If you do want to adopt then I am there alongside with you. I would love to raise a child with you."

Was that the right thing? He didn't know if he had said it correctly or not. It was all a jumble in his head.

Antigone reached over and patted Milo's hand. "Okay honey, I just have to make sure," she said softly. This wasn't really the time for adoption talk anyway. She had already lost her appetite so she vanished her plate and just had her juice and coffee. Breakfast of champions. Yep.

"I need to do a lot of research, but I think I might go lie down again for a bit. Care to join me when you finish up down here?" she gave him a pointed look that said he could have his Tiggy on toast if he did. Then sliding out of the chair she began to sashay back toward the stairs.

Milo quickly downed his orange juice and grabbed a piece of his toast. He tapped his plate with his wand, cleaning it. He wasn't really that hungry anyway. He padded behind her, munching on his toast. She did need her nap, especially if there was going to be a lot of research. And he was still rather tired.

Tiggy giggled as she heard Milo make haste to follow her to their room. Silly man. She stopped at the top of the stairs to stretch then went forward. It was quite early considering what they had done the day before. Packing up two flats full of stuff and then transporting it from London to Surrey had been hard work... for her at least.

Smiling as she reached the bed she simply turned to wait on Milo's entrance. She planned to pepper his lovely face with kisses and then tickle him half to death. Hehe.

Milo munched some more on his toast. It was nearly gone. Sad face. He popped the final bite into his mouth and entered the bedroom. He was ready to nap now. "Bed baby?" he said, spotting her already on it. That was a start.

As soon as Milo entered the room she pounced on him. Giggling she covered his face in kisses and began to tickle him around the ribs. Nap! HA! This was a tickle war now. Game on.

After a few minutes of insane tickle torture she relented and took off around the bed laughing hysterically. "Game on."

Milo collapsed to the floor in a fit of giggles. He spazzed and flailed as she attacked him with her tickles. "Nooo. Nooo. Stop." He giggled. [b]"Please Tiggy. Please stop." He tried to push her off of him.

Then she stopped. He clambered to his feet. "I need to go to the bathroom." He quickly skedaddled to the bathroom. As he returned he pounced on the bed. "Game on then Mrs Kane."

Antigone cackled as Milo flailed about. He was always good for a laugh when he was tickled. When he ran off to the potty she hopped up and then scrambled under the covers to hide.... okay it was a terrible hiding place but he could come find her. *eyebrows*

Giggling as he hopped on the bed inches from her she smiled to herself as he called her Mrs. Kane. THat sounded good. She loved it. Tossing the covers back she grabbed him and pulled him down so she could kiss him properly. Sweet sweet man. "You up for a game of Twister before we nap?"

Milo sighed. Really? The bed was not a good hiding place. He lay down on top of the lump in the bed sheets. "Oh I wonder where Tiggy has got to?" It didn't last long as she flipped over the covers and kissed him.

He fake yawned, "Well I am rather tired. But I guess I could fit in a quick game of twister before I fall asleep. Will have to be quick though."

Antigone laughed and squealed as Milo SQUISHED her. Big man on little woman.... x_X. Giggling as she came up for air from the kiss she pouted slightly...

"Well... you can play by yourself then," she said curtly and attempted to flip over on the bed angrily... yeaaaaah.... she toppled right off of the bed and burst into hysterical laughter. Giggling and snorting she held her sides and said,"One must never try to flip angrily on a bed... even one as large as this one"

Milo pouted, "It's not as much fun if I play by myself." He whined slightly. Then she rolled off the bed. He chuckled, and peered over the edge, a big grin on his face. "I never suggested you should do. You shouldn't have gotten angry. I will play twister with you, if you want to still."

Antigone still lay in the floor giggling and snorting at her fall from the big old bed. Twas funny stuff! Then she saw Milo's head poking over the side of the bed and with catlike reflexes she reached up and grabbed him and began to drag him off of the bed.

"Ah who needs Twister... I am not an addict. I can live without it," she said with a chuckle as she pullllllled on Milo.

Milo was heaved off the bed. Wow she was strong. He pouted at her. "No twister then?" He was utterly disappointed now. He sighed. He had wanted to play twister. Oh well. Maybe he could take a nap instead. He landed on her with a crash. Well that was different.

Tiggy let out a big old OOF as her MASSIVE husband crashed down on top of her. Giggling and gasping for air she said, "You. Are. Going. To. Have. To. Peel. me. Off. Of. The. Floor." Finally recovering a bit from the collision she leaned her head up and gave her husband a passionate kiss and smiled at him lovingly.

"How badly do you wanna play Twister?" she asked coyly. "Seems like you are more interested in napping," she added with a fake yawn.

Milo eyed her, "I am not that heavy. I have been working out." She was a meanie sometimes. Even if she was looking at him so cutely. And kissing him so much.

"Can you not see the pout?" he said, pointing to his mouth.

Tiggy laughed at her husband and kissed him once more. "Yes, love... but you just fell off of a bed on top of you 130 pound wife... you are bigger than I am regardless," she said with a chuckle.

She did indeed see his pout and smirked slightly. "Weeeeell... since you are twisting my arm so much I suppose I have no choice," she said as though she were being put out. Laughing heartily she groped around atop the bedside table and found her wand. With a quick flick she conjured up a Twister mat and magicked spinner. Smiling she said, "You have to get off from top of me if you would like to play... although I do not mind your lying there a bit longer." She grabbed him for a kiss once more.

Milo chuckled, "Not much bigger. Only like 20 pounds more." Give or take a few pounds. He hadn't really weighed himself recently. He wasn't that heavy.

He wibbled slightly, "You don't have to. I won't force you. I can play later." He didn't want to force her to play. He preferred people who were willing to play with him. "What if I don't want to? I would rather stay squidging you." He rolled off of her. They were going to play twister. Yay.
