"You'll have to take a trip out to visit me anyway. I'm already planning to move there as soon as I graduate." Planning, dreaming, same thing really. She didn't know if that would really happen, but she sure did like the sound of it.

Taryn blushed a little bit. August didn't know. He didn't notice.

"I didn't tell him anything. He didn't tell me anything but... I just know that he does." She shrugged. It was hard not to know, really. Especially when they'd been in Greece and all. "He always gets uncomfortable whenever you're brought up and sometimes he gets grumpy about it." Really that was ALL of the time, but Taryn didn't want to make it sound like a PROBLEM or anything.

"It's just weird because... you know how you and I were best friends before Tori and Paulie set us on that date..? That's the way I am with Mo... he's a best friend." And he liked her and she was dating someone else and it was.... weird.

Auggie was likely going to be less than helpful about the whole thing too, but... she felt like he should KNOW about all this.

"I guess you will have to show me around then won't you?" Auggie had no objections to go to Greece if he was with her. That would probably be one of the best vacactions he would ever go on.

August wasn't really sure he wanted to hear what she was talking about. Mo had been so stand-offish with him before, the Gryffindor had no idea what could have been the problem. There were so many things that it could have been, but he wouldn't have thought of this one! He should have known, just like she said, he was her friend before they started dating, surely other boys thought she was awesome too.

"Well...he's your friend and you shouldn't let...all of this effect that." Truely it wouldn't be fair for him to make her stop seeing Mo, he wouldn't do that.

Now he wanted to change the subject, he didn't want to talk about Mo right now. "So, while you were gone I got you a present!" He held the small, flat box out to her. When she opens it, a small ornate silver mirror with a handle would appear.

It had been necessary to tell August about Mo, she certainly didn't want him finding out on his own and thinking that she'd hidden it from him on purpose. That also would be unfair.

She was glad for the subject change and even MORE so for the present. Taryn grinned, "You know how I LOVE presents!" She took the little box from him and opened it, lifting the mirror and holding it up. "Interesting present, Auggie." She DID like to look at herself in the mirror, though....

Hehe.

What girl didn't love presents though?

Auggie watched excitedly as Taryn opened the lid of the box and then started to laugh, probably more than was necessary, when she commented vaguely about how interesting of a gift it was. "Taryn, it's not JUST a mirror."

The boy walked over to his desk and removed a mirror that looked the same, just as shiney and silvery. "Watch this." He quickly stepped out of the door, closing it behind him. After he had left her alone in his room, he squeezed the handle of the mirror tightly and instantly saw the face of his girlfriend in the other room.

"Hey!" he shouted, hoping to catch her off guard.

ACK!

Taryn should have guessed what it was, but she hadn't, and August walking out of his room confused her even more, until he suddenly appeared in the mirror and SCARED HER SILLY.

She actually dropped the mirror with a big gasp but quickly recovered and picked it back up again, "This'll come in handy." She giggled.

Auggie's grey eyes shone brightly in the glass of the mirror as he giggled at her reaction. Boys like to play with new toys too!

"They will won't they? I really missed seeing your face while you were away." He gently touched his finger to his own mirror, it was shown pressed against the glass of her's. He smiled softly.

She definitely felt a bit of a blush come on when he spoke and Taryn giggled. Giggling just.. happened, especially when he was all super sweet and stuff. Taryn blew a kiss into the mirror and then walked to the door, tugging it open.

"Come back and see my face for real then." More blushing.

Auggie watched as she blew a kiss into her mirror for him and he raised his hand and caught it and then placed it against his chest overly animated like.

He barely registered her moving from his end and then jumped shortly when she opened the door and asked him to come back in and see her real face. He smiled and walked in, closing the door softly behind him.

For some reason his stomach seemed really light all of a sudden and he wasn't exactly sure why. Looking at her face he took in her eyes, so deep and full of light, her skin shining brightly with her new tan, and her lips...

they were so pink and he needed to know what they felt like against his.

Without saying a word or waiting another second, the boy leaned forward and softly pressed his lips to her's and kissed his girlfriend for real, for the first magical time.

GASP!

This day seemed to be FULL of surprises, didn't it? Taryn had honestly not been expecting a kiss, even if it was the only thing she'd been thinking about for weeks...

Hopefully she didn't wait too long or act TOO surprised before she managed to kiss back. She suddenly heard Tori's voice admonishing that she'd better be sure her lips were super kissable before she kissed Auggie. That PROBABLY wasn't the best thing to think about because it just made her nervous.

After the kiss, Taryn just GIGGLED.

He felt her lips pressing against his and it just...felt right.

Auggie's eyes had been closed but after they pulled apart he opened them again to see Taryn giggling like a little girl at him, her face red. That had been everything he had hoped and expected it to be.

Perfect.

The boy shoved his hands in his pockets and it his lower lip, grinning just the same. "So.."

What did you say after something as EPIC as that?

Heh. Heh. Heh. The giggling died a little because Taryn didn't want to look like a crazy giggling maniac. "Yeaaaahh...." HEHE. The plus side was she didn't kill him with any sort of allergic reaction to her lip gloss. Huzzah! "I've never been kissed before." Just FYI.

More giggling. That was a good sign, from Taryn at least. He knew she wasn't laughing at him.

Then she admitted to him that she had never been kiss before. "You know what's funny, me either. I wasn't bad at it was I?" Auggie asked quickly, suddenly very self-conscious. He hadn't been to rough, or too tender, he hadn't nearly caused her to drown from saliva?

Well, it WAS her first kiss and she hardly had anything to compare it to, but she was pretty sure that he had no reason to worry. "No." She answered shyly. It had been a very good kiss. If it had been a school assignment, she was sure he'd get an O. Yep.

"What about me?" After she'd gotten over the surprised bit, of course.

Oh good.

Phew.

Auggie's heart was still beating faster than normal but he was filled with a satisfied feeling of one who had just finished a job well done. The boy had been waiting for that moment since they had spent their first afternoon together at Hogwarts after their 'blind date'. How lucky was he to be in love with his friend?

"You did great too." He said nodding quickly, another grin spreading across his face. So good that he just wanted to...

He leaned in an kissed her again. It was new after all.

Taryn just had no idea what to say. What exactly was one supposed to do after receiving their first kiss? Shake hands and politely thank the person? Should she leave? Should she GIGGLE some more? Should she stand there grinning like an idiot?

Luckily, August made the decision for her and it was a, uh, good decision.

SHE COULDNT WAIT TO TELL TORI AND ASPEN.

After Auggie decided his second kiss with Taryn needed to come to an end, based mainly on the need to breath, he pulled back from her and grinned brightly again. That obviously wasn't going to get old anytime soon.

"So now that you're back, what do you want to do? Diagon Alley could be fun." The boy went back and sat on his bed, not too effected by the kiss since he had initiated it. He still felt giddy though.

Taryn sat down beside him. So like, two weeks wasn't a terribly long time, right? She was just SO used to seeing Auggie every day! It was odd not to be able to do that anymore.

So she was DEFINITELY sitting beside him.

Hehe.

She grinned at his question. "Every day?" Hehe. Yeah. She'd go to Diagon Alley every day if it was to see him. "My father's taking me to the beach for the weekend of my birthday, you should come with!" She nudged his arm with excitement. TOTAL EXCITEMENT. Hehehehhee!
