Default That Summer - V.5!

This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna narrowed her blue eyes playfully at Ferris as he turned what was supposed to be her comeback into a compliment. It was then that he asked if the marks on her neck hurt, and with a faint smile, Vianna shook her head slightly. "Not at all," she replied. Her smile widened slightly and she leaned on her toes again to peck the young man's cheek gently before diverting her gaze to their surroundings. She had been so distracted examining the marks on her neck and talking with her husband, that she hadn't really taken the time to take a look at her surroundings.

The bathroom was quite large (and unnecessarily so, in Vianna's opinion). It even had its own small fireplace and a door leading to a closet. The bathtub was large, enough to fit a small group of four inside, and the shower stood in the opposite corner of it, roomy and hidden behind glass doors. Suddenly, Vianna craved a bubble bath. Ever since the pregnancy, she'd sort of made a habit of taking baths instead of showers (usually at night before bed, as she didn't really have the time to do so in the mornings before work, so she'd just shower then), as they were always the best way for her to relax after receiving a kick from the coming baby or when her back ached too much.

"Isn't it nice, Professor?" the girl asked almost dreamily, referring to the bathtub specifically, though it was easy to be confused and think she was referring to the bathroom overall. "After all these years... I think I can finally have a morning bath!" Just a moment later, she had left her husband's side and made her way over to the bathtub in light, enthusiastic steps, taking a moment to examine it with a grin on her face before turning on the faucet and running her fingers through the warm water, looking almost childlike in her excitement.

Ferris's smile widened as Vianna assured him that the many marks on her neck didn't hurt at all, glad to know that this wasn't causing her any pain or anything of the sort. Looking at the both of them in the mirror, it appeared more as though their many marks were a more pinkish-red colour rather than purple, only defined as darker and slightly blue-toned once one got a closer look at them. So, for a better comparison, their necks looked a bit less as though someone had actually physically beat them up (due to the fact that from afar they didn't look too serious), but rather more like a vaccum had come out of nowhere and attacked their necks.

But he grew distracted from trying to define exactly what their necks looked like as Vianna spoke rather dreamily, asking for confirmation that something was nice. He turned to her then, quickly realizing she was talking about the bathroom, and gave a faint smile at the almost dazed sparkle to his wife's eyes as she caught sight of the tub. "It's definitely something..." he murmured with an amused smile, releasing her waist as she headed over to turn on the bath water and mentioned that she could finally have a morning bath after all of the years that she'd had to take night ones before bed. He practically beamed at her excitement over this, crossing the bathroom to slip his arms around her and kiss her cheek lovingly, "I'll leave you alone with your bathtub then," he murmured playfully, kissing her forehead before releasing her waist. "I'm going to go tend to my stomach, I'll see you in a bit," he announced as he headed out of the large bathroom, and ultimately out of their room. Without erasing his hickeys. Into the general population of the suite and therefore his wife's older brothers, completely forgetting the fact that his neck was covered in marks that could've only be left by their little sister.

ooc: ! Poor Ferris.

Vianna was absentmindedly admiring the water filling up the tub, like a child on Christmas morning, as Ferris came to join her and awarded her a kiss to the cheek, announcing he was now going to leave her alone with her bathtub. The girl laughed lightly at the way he put it, and nodded her head, turning around to face him and pecking his lips gently for a brief moment. "I'll see you in a little bit, Professor," she promised with a smile, though it would be naive of the young man to believe that. Vianna never took just 'a little bit' in a bath, and it wasn't everyday she got the chance to have a lazy morning, so she was definitely making plans to stay here much longer than she usually would. The girl watched him go after he announced he was going to go tend to his stomach while she bathed, and once he was gone and the door closed, she began to prepare for her bath.

Meanwhile, out in the suite…
It was still early morning, and the golden light that showered the furniture of the living room gave everything a warm glow, though it wasn't overwhelmingly hot yet. There were voices in the kitchen and the smell of food in the air, and inside were Victor, Airi, and a drowsy Vince. Victor and Airi were already showered and changed, looking ready to leave the suite as soon as they were done with their breakfast. Vince, on the other hand, was still in his pajamas, his hair looked like he had just rolled out of bed two minutes ago, and his features gave the impression that he probably didn't get much sleep the night before. But then again, he looked like that every morning for years now.

The young man seemed to awaken as Ferris stepped into the room, though. No better alarm clock for him than a free opportunity to make fun of Ferris one way or another; and now that he was walking into the room with no Vianna at his side to defend him, Vince just felt all the more inspired to prey upon the innocent victim.

Victor was the first to speak, though. "Good morning, Montgom--"

"Merlin! What happened to your neck!?" asked a bewildered Vince, all intentions of causing trouble leaving his features and being replaced by horror instead. Victor's eyebrows rose slightly and his gaze fell to Ferris's neck. Neither one of the brothers said anything for a moment there, their matching crystal blue eyes narrowing at the poor bloke who'd just waltzed right in innocently. "Is that… are those…"

Victor made a face. "Of course. How naive of us to think that the spectacle would end last night. You two have no shame, do you?" he asked Ferris, obviously referring to both him and Vianna. "What, are you trying to compete with Vince and Julia now?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Vince's jaw dropped at this insult. "Hey! Julia doesn't do that to my neck!" he said in his defense. "I wish she did, though," he muttered a little more quietly, more to himself than to the others as his gaze fell to his plate for a brief moment before returning to Ferris. "This isn't Vi's fault, though. It's him - he' putting stuff in her food and drink, I tell you. Vi wouldn't do something like that unless she was under the effect of a potion, and we all know Ferris Wheel was the biggest nerd in Hogwarts. He probably knows all about potions they wouldn't even teach us about in class," he explained, sounding quite confident of his theory. And though it seemed improbable, he knew he had all of Victor's support. Neither brother was willing to admit that their little sister was a savage who liked to attack her husband's neck, no way. To them she was always going to the victim in the situation, and Ferris just the ugly toad that tricked her into believing he was Prince Charming.

OOC: I know, I couldn't help it!

Ferris walked into the living room as innocently as could be, obviously not remembering in the slightest that his neck was still coated in the marks Vianna had left on it, physical evidence of their affection for one another. That was, until his greeting was cut off by the call of 'Merlin! What happened to your neck!?'. His brown eyes widened and he immediately took a step back, his mind racing over the past few minutes, trying to detect when he did, indeed, do the spell on his neck. He did do it, didn't he?! His brown eyes widened further as he realized he had no recollection of doing the spell on his pale neck, gazing at the pair of brothers as Victor asked if he and Vianna had no shame. "We have shame!" the young man contradicted rather childishly as he brought up a hand to scratch his neck absentmindedly, covering up a few of those marks as his brows furrowed. "We're not Vince and Julia!" he scowled, rolling his eyes as though this was the most ridiculous thought on the planet, obviously not too pleased that Vince and Victor were now looking at something that seemed rather private.

But he couldn't help but smile just slightly as Vince pointed out that Julia didn't do that kind of stuff to his neck, muttering something about wishing she had. "You should," he muttered with a bit of a small, half sheepish, half looking almost amused smile, like a little boy once more as he'd looked when Vianna had allowed him to eat rolls the afternoon before. (My wife kisses my neck like that!) But his smile faded just slightly as he crossed into the open kitchen area to grab a scone, listening as Vince went on a rant about how he was putting things in Vianna's food and drink, that Vianna wouldn't kiss his neck like that unless she was under a potion or something. His brown eyes widened disbelievingly at the comments, leaning up against one of the walls as Vince continued to explain the logic; that Ferris had been 'the biggest nerd in Hogwart's ("Hey!") and therefore he'd known tons of potions that most students hadn't ever learned. "Well yeah, of course I have. I'm a sub-Professor half the time for Potions and a full time teacher's assistant for Charms. I've gotta know some stuff," he grumbled through his scone. "But that doesn't mean I put anything in Vianna's drinks!"

"Maybe you should just accept that your little sister likes me," Ferris announced rather proudly, flashing him a bit of a grin, revealing his dimples as he teased the slightly older young man. "Enough to kiss me...a good deal." And it was rather amusing how they were talking about this as though he and Vianna hadn't been married for the past four years, as though their relationship had just started and Vince still had yet to fully accept it, especially the fact that they were now (gasp!) kissing.

Victor's blue eyes widened slightly as he witnessed an almost childish exchange of words between his brother and Ferris, where one of the boys was always trying to show off how much nicer his wife treated him to the other; kind of like what had happened the day before during brunch. The young man rolled his eyes at Ferris's little speech (which had Vince throwing him the most murderous of glares, like an annoyed envious little boy). "Alright, alright. What are you two, six year olds?" he asked, not appreciative of their behaviour or the ridiculous subject they were even debating about.

"Well, at least we've got a confession," said Vince, as if Ferris admitting that he knew more potions than the average wizard was something he could use against him in court. "He's used not only potions but charms on her as well. That kind of thing can't be legal."

Victor glanced over at his brother but said nothing, knowing well that there wasn't really much they could do about Fervi's indecency, though he wasn't about to admit it and let them feel like they could just act like this whenever they pleased, leaving love marks on their necks for everyone to see and snogging on the couch for everyone to see like they were just teenagers. They had to learn to behave like the adults they were, and respect that the others didn't quite enjoy their little shows (Victor and Airi were probably the only two that still had some maturity out of everyone that was on this trip). "Just do us a favour and do something about those marks, Montgomery," he said simply.

Vince nodded his head.

"It's not very kind to remind Vince here of how deprived he is," added the young man as he took another bite from his breakfast absentmindedly. There was the slightest hint of devious teasing behind his cold blue eyes, and Vince's jaw fell to floor at his comment. Oh great, so now his stupid brother was siding with Ferris Wheel in bullying him too?!

Ferris, finishing off his scone, threw up his hands in defeat as Vince mentioned that they now had a confession, as he'd just admitted that he knew both charms and potions and therefore must've been using them on Vianna. "When she gets out of her bath, she's going to explain to you that I am not doing anything to her food!" he complained with a roll of his eyes, conjuring over a glass of water as Victor suggested that he do something about his marks, something which Vince immediately agreed with. Teasingly, Ferris flashed him a playful grin, "I dunno, I sort of like them," he joked as he headed around the furniture, plopping down on the armchair just to the side of the couch.

He let out a hearty chuckle as Victor mentioned that it wasn't very kind to remind Vince how deprived he was, brown eyes obviously amused as he glanced over at Vince. "It's not my fault Julia doesn't show affection," he muttered teasingly. He couldn't help but enjoy teasing Vince a bit, stretching his neck just a little too much to take another sip of his water, showing off a couple more of the marks Vianna had left on his skin. It was just far too amusing to see that expression on his face.

As though on cue, Julia marched into the room dressed in a t-shirt and shorts, though somehow still finding the need to wear heels. She marched in and plopped on the couch, planting a kiss to Vince's temple and only reiterating the appearance that Vince didn't get enough affection. Ferris laughed.

Vince seemed positively annoyed with Ferris's remarks, and he felt a strong urge to just wrap his hands around the pale boy's hickey-stained neck and shut him up. But Vince had a little more self-control now than he did on his teenage years and he knew that beating Ferris up wasn't going to make the marks on his neck go away. Neither was it going to stop him from saying something again, he was sure; unfortunately for him, Ferris wasn't one to be scared off so easily, and the fact that he was still around, now married to Vianna and being the father of her child proved this point.

He was just glaring menacingly at the Englishman when Julia arrived, plopping down beside him on the couch and greeting him with just a kiss to the temple. As Ferris laughed, Vince picked up the nearest pillow and threw it at his head. "Morning, Jules," he greeted the girl as if nothing had just happened. They had made-up after that fountain incident from the night before. Vince had made a vow not to speak to her for the next week, but two minutes after she had stepped into the room after him, he was talking to her again. Eventually, they worked things out.

"Good morning, [insert Julia's last name here]," greeted Victor casually, which was a little unusual, as he usually ignored Julia's presence as much as he could. But this time he wanted to address her and amuse himself with the rivalry that Fervi and Julince seemed to have going on (which was mostly fueled by the boys, as neither Vianna or Julia seemed to have noticed much competition at all, and Vianna's intentions had only been playful during the last day's brunch). "Have you noticed Montgomery's neck?" he asked, his tones still casual, as if he was just asking her about the weather. "A very disturbing sight; I think you and Vince might have some competition on who's the most shameless couple."

Vince was now glaring at his brother. Why did everyone always enjoy ganging up on him? He was too dull during his teenage years to notice, but as he grew older and a little bit smarter, he began to realize people weren't always just laughing with him, but rather at him. He decided to be 'mature' about it. "There's no competition. Julia and I don't find it necessary to act like savages like Ferris and Vianna obviously do," he said, contradicting his earlier behaviour completely.

"Morning Vincie," Julia muttered with a yawn, her long blonde hair pulled up into a fluffy bun on top of her head, for once not wearing all that much makeup, having not applied it yet. She glanced over at Victor as he addressed her, listening as he asked if she had noticed Ferris's neck, that it was obviously a rather disturbing sight. She glanced over at Ferris only to see those many marks and it took her a moment to realize that a vaccum or something like it hadn't attacked him, that this had been Vianna's doing. Her light brown eyes widened and then the most disturbed of grimaces fell onto her expression. "Ewwwww!" she complained, shielding her eyes away as Ferris merely leaned back into his seat, allowing his hand to cover part of his neck, not all too keen on being the topic of discussion despite his minor amusement. Julia merely gave a pout as Victor then mentioned that she was part of the competition as to which couple was more shameless, obviously not catching the actual distaste behind Victor's tone.

But it was then that Vince mentioned that there wasn't really a competition, that he and Julia didn't find the need to act like savages like Fervi obviously did. Ferris choked on some of his water, spluttering out a bit as he coughed up his disagreement with that statement. "Are you kidding me?!" he complained with brown eyes widened. "You guys are disgusting on a regular basis!" he grumbled with raised eyebrows. Julia seemed not to have a statement on the matter, currently climbing onto her boyfriend's lap absentmindedly, completely oblivious to the fact that she wasn't helping Vince's case.

Victor and Vince were both a little startled as Ferris very suddenly and unexpectedly choked on his water and spluttered, coughing out his disagreement over Vince's last few words. But it was his following words, when he exclaimed that Vince and Julia were disgusting on a regular basis, that Vince's jaw dropped once again, a little too distracted at the moment to notice Julia just randomly climbing onto his lap, one of his arms just naturally falling around her waist on instinct, though his blue eyes were fixed on the boy sitting on the armchair, throwing him the deadliest of glares. "You better watch your tongue, Ferris Wheel, before I cut it for you," he said simply, furrowing his brows disapprovingly at the young man but saying nothing more on the matter.

Victor merely watched all of this with malicious amusement for the few moments it lasted before getting up to his feet, soon followed by his wife. "Well, it has been lovely to spend this morning with all of you, but Airi and I are leaving now," he announced. Victor and Airi had come up with a simple solution to the troubles they stumbled upon the day before - stick together and disappear from the suite before the others could start making plans (in other words, before Julia could propose another girls' day where Airi would find herself forced to try on ugly dresses and Victor to spend his valuable time with Vince and Ferris, of all people). In a flash, the couple went out the main doors and out of sight.

Vince watched them go with a puzzled expression on his tanned face before turning to the girl on his lap. He hadn't really had a chance to examine her, so at first he hadn't really noticed that things seemed a bit strange - she was in shorts and a t-shirt, not a dress or a mini skirt as usual; her hair up and no make-up on her face. As Vince noticed all these things, he jumped in his seat, eyes wide. "Jules, what happened to you!?" he asked, a hint of horror on his features. So it may be true that Julia wasn't the most affectionate girlfriend, but she wasn't the only one at fault here. Vince wasn't exactly Prince Charming and sometimes he blurted out things that didn't exactly sound like a compliment - like he had done just then. Upon realizing his mistake, the young man's eyes widened further and his eyebrows rose, suddenly turning a little uneasy. "I--I mean-- you look-- different. A good different, though," he quickly added, trying to repair the damage.

OOC: I'm gonna need fifteen minutes or so Deee!

Ferris merely rolled his eyes as Vince threatened to cut out his tongue, giving a brief nod of goodbye to the couple who slipped out of the door, and returning his gaze to Vince and Julia reluctantly just as the former asked what had happened to his girlfriend. Ferris too had noticed this small change in appearance but apparently wasn't as surprised by it as Vince due to the fact that he didn't see her caked in makeup every single day.

Julia swatted Vince's arm at the rather rude statement that he'd just blurted out, scowling at him with the tiniest bit of insecurity behind her gaze, listening as he quickly tried to fix his previous statement. "I'm just not wearing make-up," she announced in a soft grumble, rolling her eyes as though it was obvious. But it was true that Vince rarely ever saw her like this, due to the fact that he was working nearly all day, everyday. "I'm like this for most of my mornings, you just hardly see it because you're always off working so early or whatever," she muttered softly, leaning back against his arm with a bit of a shrug. And it was rather amusing how pretty Julia could actually look when she wasn't caked in the heaviest of makeup, when she wasn't constricting herself in tiny skirts and things like that. She searched his gaze with her own, trying to decipher what he thought of this new look before simply scowling, "Don't mention it, I know I don't look good. I'm just tired, okay?" she mumbled, stretching her legs out along the couch as Ferris disappeared to grab another scone.

ooc: Alright

Vince couldn't help but be a little amused as Julia turned annoyed with him, explaining simply that she just happened to not be wearing make-up at that moment. Realization fell upon Vince's features at that moment. So that was why her face looked so different (ever the dull one, Vince was like most guys - he knew he saw a difference, but couldn't tell what it was specifically). As it dawned on him that he was seeing a version of Julia he didn't always get to see, he seemed to turn a little more intrigued, listening as she explained that she was usually like this in the mornings, but he couldn't see because he was always off working early. This made the young man feel a little guilty. It was true, he barely really got a chance to spend time with her in the mornings. Where had things changed? His father had held the exact same job he had now, but he always got home in the afternoons; and though it was true he was busy a lot of the time, he always had time for his kids and wife. Vince couldn't seem to understand why his schedule was different. But now he felt he wanted to change it; he wanted to see his girlfriend the way she looked in the mornings, and get to know that side of her he usually didn't see when he was away. It was a little funny; he almost felt like morning-Julia and night-Julia were two different girls.

There was a brief silence at that moment, in which they merely exchanged gazes; Julia trying to figure out what he was thinking and Vince looking rather blank-faced as he fell in thought. It was then that the girl broke the silence, scowling at him suddenly and asking him not to mention it, that she knew she didn't look good and she was just tired. Vince's eyebrows rose at this, not sure what had brought her to say this, since he hadn't really said anything after that horrible mistake he made earlier. Surely Julia wasn't thinking he thought she looked ugly or something, right? She was always so confident, or at least she seemed so to him, he didn't think it possible she'd ever think that he, of all people, would think she was unattractive. "Julia, you look great," he told her simply and honestly, flashing the girl a smile before leaning in and pecking her lips gently. "I'm sorry I was jerk just now... but I don't want you to think, for a second, that you could ever be anything less than beautiful to me," he admitted.
And then he frowned, his brows furrowing and his gaze leaving her own; he seemed a little disturbed, as if he had just tasted something nasty. Those words had come out a lot cheesier than he had intended for them to be and it wasn't something he was used to. He wasn't supposed to be romantic! Merlin, no, ew. He was supposed to be just... Vince. Dull Vince.

ooc: Posts might be delayed, my internet's being incredibly mean.

OOC: No problem!

Julia was staring blankly at Vince's knee beneath her own leg, her mind seemingly distant as she reviewed his previous words. It might've sounded really, really odd but Vince's opinion meant a lot to the girl who always seemed to be wasting his money. But Vince was the whole package to her (despite the fact that he could oftentimes be a bit dull, a little insensitive to certain things), he was gorgeous and he was sweet when he wanted to be; she actually really loved him, somewhere way down beneath that spray tan; he was Vinciepoo. And despite popular belief, she didn't just like him for his money. His opinion of her was something that she greatly aspired to uphold, though she covered it up well.

Her eyes shot up as the man she was currently using as a seat told her very simply informing her that she looked great, leaning in and pecking her lips with one of those smiles that sort of got her heart to melt. She'd never done this whole...no-makeup thing around Vince before. She was positive that he wouldn't exactly be attracted to what he saw, that he'd definitely prefer his glossed up Julia more than this more relaxed one. So her minor insecurity was clearly displayed as she stared at him with happy disbelief in her light brown eyes, listening as he apologized for being a jerk, that he didn't want her to think for a second that she could ever be anything less than beautiful to him. She wasn't sure if she'd ever heard anything sweeter, and her heart seemed to sort of feel funny. What was that?! I-It felt like it was...melting or something... It felt sort of nice. Sweet, even.

It was hard to believe that shorts, a tshirt, and a clean face could inspire such words from the boy she'd come to love, a man usually of very few words when it came to that 'romantic stuff'. This meant more to her than she'd imagined; the idea that she (just her, without any assistance) was attractive to Vince, even beautiful... Well that was hard to believe. She would probably never really admit it in full, but there was a part of Julia's subconcious that bought all of those things and spent so much time on her makeup for him; to be pretty for him. She wanted him to feel like he had the prettiest girlfriend on the planet, she wanted him to think she was gorgeous, she wanted him to look at her in that way that clearly showed adoration. And she'd never ever thought that just her (without any makeup or anything of the sort) would be beautiful to him.

She grinned at the sight of Vince's frown, easily able to see the distaste on his expression as he too realized how odd the words sounded coming from his lips. Light brown eyes sparkling just slightly, she leaned in and planted a rather loving kiss to his lips, allowing it to last for a sweet couple moments before breaking apart, for once leaving him without the aftertaste of lipgloss but rather the smooth feel of her natural lips. She let out a giggle as she then slipped off her heels (a pair she'd been trying to break in since she'd bought them yesterday, in case you were wondering) to reveal her small feet, one hand coming to absentmindedly massage her foot as she brought it up near her lap. "Y'know..." she murmured thoughtfully, "You don't...know what that means, to me." She couldn't bring herself to look at him for a long moment as she said this, staring down at her feet before sneaking a peek at his expression and quickly looking away once more. "I get...lonely, sometimes, y'know..." she continued gently, obviously not too versed in the art of 'feelings' and all of that mush. "I dunno, I just...I feel like I try to be all..pretty for you and you hardly notice most of the time." She gave a faint chuckle at this, hardly realizing how completely different she was seeming from the Julia most of everyone else saw.

Vince wasn't really able to see the happy disbelief in his girlfriend's expression after he'd finished talking, as his gaze was still somewhere far away trying to figure out why in the world he'd said that. It's not like he didn't mean it, of course he did, but he'd never felt the need to say something like that aloud before. He'd always just sort of guessed that Julia knew what he thought and felt without him having to say it, though it was starting to become a little clearer to him that perhaps things weren't really like that; that perhaps Julia wasn't really a mindreader and she honestly wasn't really aware of the way he thought of her or felt about her because he never really showed it very clearly. Sure, he let her spend his money away and shove him into fountains, but… it wasn't quite the same as actually telling her that she was beautiful to him, or that he didn't really care for all the make-up she wore, or that he actually liked it when she didn't leave lipgloss on his lips.

The young man was surprised to find all his thoughts interrupted suddenly as Julia brought her lipgloss-free lips to his own. Wow, even that felt strange - to feel her lips on his own; just them alone, natural and free of any beauty products. It was almost like kissing someone else, and it brought that same curiosity that he'd been feeling earlier back, that need to know the girl under all the make-up and the expensive clothes, the one that had been there all along but he had always been too blind or careless to see. A little lost in all these thoughts, it took Vince a moment to realize that Julia had pulled away from his lips and the kiss had come to an end. When his eyes opened, he smiled at the sight of her giggling and slipping off her heels, revealing feet he had never been aware were so tiny. At least compared to his own, which he was so used to. He was absentmindedly watching her massage her small foot when she began to speak again, confessing to him that his words meant a lot to her. Vince hadn't expected this at all (this morning was full of surprises, it seemed), and his dark eyebrows rose at her words. He never really thought she paid much attention to what he said, when he said anything, so this was a surprise to him. And then the surprises continued, but in a much darker light. She was sharing with him now how she felt lonely sometimes, trying to be pretty for him, but he hardly noticed most of the time.

That was when the most horrible feeling in the world started to build up inside the young man. First his heart felt like it had just dropped from his chest, and then his stomach began to fill up with tons worth of guilt. He'd never felt so absolutely horrible and guilty before, and he was rather surprised that that small confession from his girlfriend could cause him to feel that way. He though back to the last few years then, to all the times the girl would come up to him with a new haircut, or a new dress, or a new something, and he'd usually just look up, mumble a random comment, and get back to whatever he was working on. He'd never really stopped to think - she was making those small changes on herself for him, to impress him, to be pretty for him.
Vince felt horrible. He hadn't realized he'd been so careless all this time, and everything was just starting to dawn on him now; he was just starting to see things under a new light now, after all these years. He didn't know what to say at first; he was quiet, just watching her massage her small feet, suddenly seeing this girl he'd known for so long as someone else, someone completely different, as the girl who'd been hiding under all that make-up and all those new dresses all this time. "Jules…" he said softly, trying to gather up his thoughts and explain how terribly sorry and horribly guilty he felt, but no words came out. This whole… 'express your feelings' kinda thing was still completely new to him, and he wasn't sure how to go about this, how to put his thoughts into words. After a couple moments, he gave up on the mission. If he couldn't apologize to her and explain to her how much she really meant to him through words, he'd just have to do it through actions. But he was going to learn one day, to say all these things aloud, to tell her all she needed to know and all he'd been failing to say.

After a few moments of hesitation and indecision, he simply pulled the girl closer, wrapping his free arm around her own so they were both now around her waist, pulling the girl a bit closer as he placed his lips upon her own gently. But Julince aren't Fervi, and they had not yet learned the art of expressing themselves and their thoughts through kisses, so Vince kept it brief, meaning it just to be a small affectionate gesture, not a message. The message he'd have to put into words, he knew. He'd have to start learning soon. "I'm sorry," was the first thing that escaped his lips when he pulled away, blue eyes filled with guilt, though he didn't want to make her feel bad either or something. He wanted to say more, to take all of his thoughts and hold them out for her to take. But he couldn't; speaking was just so difficult for him; speaking about this. The best he could do right now was give her a sincere apology, though he truly meant to give her more. But he did the best he could now, and made a promise to himself to learn to talk about this, to be more open and honest with her.

OOC: I'm off for now Deeee Derupersss! See you tomorrowww!

Julia glanced up from her constant stare at her feet still being massaged, her gaze absentminded and a little weary, thoughtful of what perhaps her boyfriend was thinking about at that moment. His silence was beginning to torture her, the complete calm in the room was something she wasn't used to and it rather unnerved her to realize that this silence came after her own statement, that this was filled with Vince thinking over her words. She was about to look up, to take it back and flash him a smile, sure that his reaction would be one of confusion, that he wouldn't understand in the slightest what she meant. But then he said her nickname and her light brown eyes drifted up anyway, more innocently to the boy she was currently using as a chair.

And it was then that she spotted that very sincere, gut-wrenching sort of guilt written across Vince's handsome features and she froze, scanning his expression with disbelieving light brown eyes suddenly much bigger without a ring of eyeliner and shadows accompanying them. She wasn't used to this, she hadn't expected this sort of reaction from her boyfriend and to realize that he understood, that he knew what she meant with just a few words, it sent a sort of hope into her that she couldn't quite explain. But she remained silent, flashing him a weak, rather faint but genuine smile as she gave a shrug, unsure what to say to him that would reiterate her feelings anymore. She didn't want to make him feel guilty, she didn't want him to be upset or anything, but she wanted him to understand. It felt like they didn't have that, that sort of...understanding, that communication that other couples had; it was something she longed for at times when Vince got home and frowned at her shopping bags, when they started bickering about something small and insignificant. And something told her, in that expression of his, that he understood what she meant. Or at least, he was beginning to understand.

As he swept her up into a sweet, affectionate kiss she hadn't been expecting, Julia couldn't help but return the gesture with a sort of loving she hadn't expected from herself. It wasn't hungry or based on pure attraction as a lot of their kisses were, but rather a very sweet, gentle gesture that she wasn't quite used to, but one that she greatly enjoyed. She flashed him a warm, small smile as they broke apart, listening as she sort of struggled to put his thoughts into words before just apologizing, a tiny phrase that sent a course of calm to run through her unexpectedly. "Don't worry about it," she decided softly, a more genuine smile crossing her features then as she leaned up a bit more, one of her soft hands come to rest on the side of his face as she planted a gentle kiss to his other cheek, right on the high cheekbone she liked to admire. "It's not like I'm the nicest at all times," Julia reminded him with a soft chuckle, her hand drifting down from the side of his expression to come rest on his chest, her light brown eyes admiring his own shockingly blue ones for a long moment before the silence was cut off by Ferris.

"Ew. You guys are sooooo gross," Ferris decided as he crossed back into the hallway, starting back towards his own bedroom. He was obviously mocking the other roommates' comments on his own relationship with Vianna, rather amused with his own interpretation of it.

Julia merely gave a roll of her eyes, a small smile still on her face as she returned her eyes from the hallway back to the boy before her, analyzing him for a moment before almost hesitantly leaning into his chest, her head coming to rest right in the crook of his neck. And there, right beneath his jawline on his lightly tanned neck, she placed a gentle sort of kiss, relishing in this new form of communication she had with the boy she'd grown to love.

OOC: Awwww, Julince are so cute! Not as cute as Fervi, but...still.

ooc: Byeeeee Ruthersss!
& Yeah they are ………………. it's so weird. !! & LOL at Ferris.

Vince was not at all comforted by Julia's response to his words, though he flashed her a weak smile. He wasn't trying to be a Debbie Downer (lol) and make her feel bad about him feeling bad or anything like that, of course not. But… how could he not feel bad? How could he just push all these realizations aside just because she asked him not to worry about it? Of course he was going to worry about it; she was his girlfriend, the first girl he had ever truly felt something serious for, the only one who made it difficult for him to feel attracted to any other girls (it's no secret he was the biggest cheater before Julia came around), and she was also the mother of his first child, of that adorable little girl he had learned to love more than life itself. And it was a little amusing too, actually, how now that he got to see his girlfriend with no make-up on, he was able to see the resemblances between her and their daughter more. They looked alike more than he had realized.

Vince gave a soft chuckle as Julia reminded him that she wasn't exactly the nicest of people at all times, but he didn't seem to mind. Let us not forget that, despite the fact that they are being mushy now, Julince are still a strange couple, and Julia's not-so-nice acts were precisely what got Vince to like her at the beginning of it all. However, now that he was getting to know a different and sweeter side of his girlfriend, he was finding he liked her just as much, if not more than the bossy Julia he was used to.
The young man was just beginning to relax when suddenly Ferris passed by, commenting on how gross they were. All kindness was swept from Vince's features as he threw Ferris a murderous glare (it was just a natural reaction to his little sister's husband at this point), until the young man disappeared and Vince was left to be alone in the living room with his girlfriend once more, his features softening and a smile curving his lips as he returned his gaze to her. It was quite amusing, actually, how quickly his expression could change, depending on who he was dealing with.

Vince let out a soft, relaxed sigh as Julia leaned into his chest, his blue eyes absentmindedly staring at the fireplace thoughtfully, before the girl in his arms leaned in and placed a kiss right beneath his jawline, catching his attention and getting him to chuckle softly at the gesture. She'd never done that before. He liked it.
Hmm. Maybe… he should say that. He was trying to learn how to tell her things, right? How he felt and what he thought? Perhaps he could start with that; it would be his first exercise. Turning to the girl resting against him, Vince leaned in toward her slightly and placed a kiss on top of her head, on her bright blonde hair. "I liked that," he admitted with a small smile. "The kiss, I mean," he clarified, wondering vaguely if he was being totally and completely weird and random for saying that. But he didn't care, he was supposed to be saying what he felt and thought now, right? And that had actually been a lot easier than he had expected. After a moment of silence, he felt encouraged to confess more. "And I like the way your eyes look without make-up. They seem brighter," he confessed honestly though still very cautiously. He didn't want to end up confessing something she didn't want to hear or that might be taken offensively. "And your lips? They're softer like this," he added, still cautiously. He paused then, not wanting to over-do it and leave the girl thinking that he didn't like the make-up-filled version of her at all. Of course he did, he liked her either way, but there were some things he preferred about his make-up-free Julia.

After a long pause, Vince spoke again, this time a little less cautiously and more honestly. "I know I haven't really been… the best boyfriend to you. I'm just starting to realize some things now, and…" He trailed off. This was getting difficult again. But he couldn't stop now, he had to tell her how he felt. Why hadn't there been a class on this sort of thing at Hogwarts? Well, he probably would've skipped it anyway… "I just want you to know, that with make-up or no make-up, I still love you, Jules. There's a lot of things I love about you, and the clothes you wear or the way you style your hair aren't going to change that. I don't want you to ever feel like… if you're not looking a certain way it's going to mean that I won't like you anymore," he explained. It felt a little easier to say all these things now, once he had already started. He was beginning to feel a lot better now, too. He was finally clearing things up, and maybe from now on Julia wasn't going to feel so pressured to look a certain way just for him; this could only be good for their relationship. He pulled her a little closer into him, feeling a little surprised that they'd never done this before - just sit on the couch and talk. He'd never really just sat with her and held her close; it was different but he liked it. After a moment's silence, he snuck a kiss to her cheek, pulling back a second later and relaxing into the couch. There was something very calming about this, though he still wasn't completely, entirely used to it yet. It was still something new, and it would take some getting used to.

OOC: I know! I'm like...WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE FERVI WORLD?! But yeah, I had to have him make fun of them just a little. *starts reading* Bahahha Debbie Downer...

Julia was just beginning to relax, her mind starting to float over the small conversation they'd just had, when Vince suddenly leaned in awfully closed and kissed the top of her head. The top of her head. Had he done that before?! She couldn't remember anything quite like the soft kiss he'd just given her, and even if he had ever kissed her there she was positive it couldn't have been as sweet and gentle as the one she was just awarded. A soft smile crossed her features then, listening as he suddenly announced that he liked 'it'. Her blonde eyebrows rose innocently, for once rather silent as she awaited him to elaborate, quickly understanding that he was referring to the kiss once he mentioned this. Curiosity fell onto her features, a warm smile beginning to spread across them as he continued to blurt out his thoughts in a way that she never knew was possible from the boy she knew so well. She could feel her heart speeding up just slightly with surprise as Vince admitted that he liked her eyes without makeup, that they seemed brighter that way, that he liked her lips better without gloss, that they were now softer. It's hard to tell, but it would appear as though Julia was practically beaming, vague surprise in her light brown eyes as she registered all of these things that seemed to be coming out of nowhere, not having expected them in the slightest.

But he obviously wasn't done, and she remained silent, her warm smile fading as he began to explain that he hadn't been the best boyfriend to her, that he was just starting to realize things and he wanted her to know that he would still love her with or without makeup. Her expression was blank, void of anything really, as he continued to explain that there were a lot of things he loved about her, that he didn't want her to feel as though he wasn't going to love her anymore if she didn't look a certain way just for him. And then he kissed her cheek.

Julia's expression housed no emotion, she was merely staring at him with those large light brown eyes, brighter than usual just as Vince had mentioned. But she didn't look happy, or sad, or anything really; her face was void of all expression, just staring at him. And then, before anything else could fill the silence that had enveloped them, she began to slowly lean in towards Vince, her gaze flashing from his lips back to his eyes before she was suddenly treating him to the sweetest of kisses, unable to help herself.

She had never, not once in her life, ever felt as happy as she felt at that moment; secure, content, loved... It was a feeling she wasn't entirely used to. Sure, she'd felt those things at one time or another in her life, but never all at once, never all coming from one source; Vince. She didn't know that he could speak that way, that he could actually tell her those things, that he really thought all of that about her.

ooc: Baahaha! The funny thing is that we didn't even plan it.

Vince seemed pretty content at first. He was making progress on this talk-about-your-feelings stuff (though it was still too early to cheer and assume he would continue to practice this skill forever, or if it would just be that way today), and Julia was being unusually sweet. He felt this was the beginning of something new, the beginning of long and slow progress toward a better relationship - he grinned at the thought of rubbing in Ferris's face how much better his girlfriend was once he and Julia had learned the ways of their new relationship, ever the childish one.

But then his confidence began to diminish as the silence grew. His brows furrowed and he turned away from the empty fireplace he had been staring at, turning to Julia instead only to find the girl staring at him blankly, with absolutely no emotion on her features. The young man's eyes widened slightly at the sight, and he felt himself beginning to panic. He'd said too much, hadn't he? How ridiculous of him to think that he would honestly do so well with this stuff right from the start! He'd probably offended her, she probably thought he'd meant that he didn't care about the little things she did for him at all… Perhaps he should've phrased that better.

After a few long moments of torturous silence, Vince decided to speak, deciding that the best thing to do at this point was to apologize and explain himself; however, before a word could be said, Julia was leaning in toward him, until her lips landed gently on his own. At this, Vince's eyebrows rose with surprise. That was not what he had been expecting at all! He had expected her to be mad at him, to scold him, or… just to do something that wasn't kissing him! But he wasn't complaining, definitely not. It wasn't everyday they kissed like this, with a sort of gentle sweetness. When they kissed it was usually hurried and hungry and based off physical attraction; they'd never really kissed just… because they loved each other. They were different, these kisses, and he was beginning to find that he liked them more and more with each second that passed.
He pulled her closer slightly, until he found that he couldn't pull her any closer than this, and his arms relaxed around her. He didn't want to hold her too tight and hurt her, of course, and he didn't want to let physical attraction get in the way of this, anyway. He just wanted to kiss her because he loved her, and because she deserved to be kissed that way, because they were starting something new today and he didn't want to ruin what they'd just started. The young man wasn't even aware he could kiss a girl like this. He'd never done it before, and none of his past girlfriends had ever complained, so he never bothered to change. He didn't even know there were different ways to kiss a girl, that he didn't always have to be so hungry with it, so assertive, and it was a nice change from the usual. He liked it; it felt right, and it was even more addicting than any other kiss he had ever given a girl, especially Julia.

Eventually, after a few long moments, he pulled back, looking a little dazed but most of all completely surprised. He stared at Julia disbelievingly for a moment before letting out a soft chuckle and shaking his head slightly, his gaze traveling over to the empty fireplace for a moment before returning to the girl beside him. "I'm… not sure what that was," he confessed with a bit of a grin, "But it was really nice." He felt sort of silly, like he was just learning to kiss now, like he didn't have any experience in the field. But that sort of kiss had really been completely new to him, and he really was, indeed, inexperienced in kissing that way. But he liked it and looked forward to practicing it more.

OOC: I know, right?! & I'm gonna need forty-five minutes or so Dee! Maybe a bit more!

Julia wasn't so versed in kissing in this particular way either, she wasn't exactly cupid. All of her past relationships (not that many before Vince, to be honest) hadn't exactly been based off of pure love and affection, rather much more physical attraction over anything else. She'd never kissed someone just because she wanted to kiss them, because they were cute or sweet, because she just wanted to share a loving gesture. It was new and exciting to her, it made her heart speed up and her insides grow fuzzy, it was so sweet and gentle, something she'd never experienced before. And she'd be lying if she said she didn't love every second of it, only breaking apart when Vince did and allowing her light brown eyes to flutter open only then.

She flashed him a warm smile, her gaze seeming to sparkle as she admired the sight of him, of that expression she knew so well looking rather dazed and surprised. She gave a soft chuckle at the sight of it, sure that her own expression must've looked pretty similar, the same sort of shock on her own features. As he admitted that he wasn't sure what that was, she couldn't help but grow rather amused, "Me either..." she admitted with an small smile, blonde eyebrows furrowed slightly with contented thoughtfulness, trying to decipher exactly what it was that had just happened. She wasn't use to it, that was for sure. He'd never kissed her like that before. She didn't quite understand that kissing could be like that, never having experienced it before, but she couldn't deny that she wanted to experience it more often. As Vince admitted that the kiss had been really nice, her smile widened and she laughed lightly, "I thought so too..." Julia murmured gently, light brown eyes scanning his blue ones disbelievingly before she leaned in to peck his lips gently. "And everything you said..." she trailed off, shaking her head with a smile growing on her tanned expression, "It was wonderful," she admitted in a tone just above a whisper, gaze falling to her lap before returning to Vince.

"You know that I love you too, don't you?" she murmured gently after a couple long moments of comfortable silence, her expression slightly thoughtful as she evaluated his own. "A lot more than you might realize..."

ooc:
& Alright

Vince, ever the dull one (though he couldn't really be blamed for this, as he had been distracted by the unusually wonderful kiss), had actually forgotten that he'd said anything before the kiss they'd just shared, forgotten what they had even been talking about, so when Julia mentioned it, sharing with him that his words had been wonderful, he seemed a little lost at first before realization dawned on him and he grinned, quite proudly and Vincenzi-like. "You really think so?" he asked, a little disbelieving as well that she had actually liked his words and didn't think he was being weird or odd or annoying or something. But this was good, he was happy she'd liked his words; he'd wanted her to like them. "I'm really glad, Jules…" he confessed softly, his proud grin turning into a more modest smile. "It's still a bit weird, but… I want to be able to talk to you like that more often."

Vince seemed genuinely happy. Happier than he had looked in a while, suddenly his features not looking so tired and sleep-deprived anymore. There was only one fear in the back of his mind, though, and that was that perhaps this fairytale-like moment they were living now was just a spell that would wear off as soon as they returned home, to their normal lives. He didn't want that; and he'd make sure he wouldn't let it happen. He didn't want this spell to wear off, it was too nice to be a temporary thing; he wanted it to last.
The young man was distracted from his thoughts as Julia then spoke again, asking if he knew that she loved him. Vince raised his eyebrows slightly at this, though at first he was a little confused as to what she meant. Of course he knew she loved him; she told him 'I love you' often enough, didn't she? But something told him she was referring to something deeper than just using that phrase over and over again. His eyebrows rose further at the words that followed her question, and eventually the surprise faded away to be replaced by a bit of amusement and a lot of curiosity. "You do, do you?" he asked with a hint of a tease in his tones, though he tried not to make it too obvious. He was a little wary of teasing Julia; last time he'd done so, he'd ended up in the Trevi Fountain. "I think you should elaborate," he suggested with a smile. It was a bit of test, too; he felt he'd done a bit of confessing in the last half an hour and he wondered if she would do the same for him.

Julia's smile widened just slightly as Vince asked teasingly for confirmation that her words were true, explaining that he thought she should elaborate, something that obviously increased her amusement with him. "Obviously I do," she started with a roll of her eyes, shoving into his chest very gently with her shoulder. She evaluated him for a long moment then, thinking about this request and trying her best to put her thoughts into the correct words. She too was new to this communication thing they were beginning on. "I love your eyes," she decided softly, her gaze scanning his expression as she began thoughtfully, turned to him with her hands clasped in her lap. "And...I love your cheekbones. I think you're just as handsome as you give yourself credit for," Julia flashed him a teasing grin as she gave a giggle, obviously referring to the high status he thought his appearance to be oftentimes. "I'm glad that Jackie looks a lot like you..." she murmured gently before breaking the gaze and giving a gentle, almost hesitant chuckle. Her eyes returned to his own a couple moments later, thoughtful and pleasantly suprised with how honest she felt she could be with him at this moment, how rather intimate their conversation had gotten. "I love...that you're much smarter than you give yourself credit for," Julia continued gently, bringing up one of her tanned hands to absentmidnedly trace his jawline interestedly, leaning back against his arm comfortably. "And I love that you love Jackie so much."

"I love...that you..are just Vince," Julia continued softly, biting her lip gently as she thought all about this, realizing how good it felt to let all of this out, to speak about it, to let him know. "You're not...anything but what you say you are. You're upfront and you're simple and you're....refreshing to me. You sort of balance me out." She flashed him a hesitant smile then, still biting her lip just slightly as she glanced away from him sheepishly.

Vince gave a soft chuckle as Julia shoved him gently, saying that she obviously did, but he raised his eyebrows at her, as if to say 'you've gotta tell me more than that'. He was pleasantly surprised when she started, not really having been sure she would go along with his request. But he was glad she did, and listened attentively to all the words that began to leave her naturally soft, lipgloss-free lips. He couldn't help but laugh as she mentioned that he was just as handsome as he gave himself credit for, completely amused by the tease, and well aware that he had never been shy about his looks, his arrogance and pride was something he was well known for. But eventually his laughter died out and he continued listening to the girl attentively, smiling as one of her hands began to trace his jawline, watching with intrigued blue eyes as she leaned back against his arm and added the bit of her list that probably hit him the hardest (in a good way) - that she loved that he loved Jackie so much. The young man beamed at this, obviously flattered and honestly glad that she could see how much he loved their daughter, and how appreciative of it she was.

Vince was a little dazed by the time Julia finished sharing all of her thoughts with him. She had never said anything like that to him before, he had never been aware of these things; and it wasn't just her. No girl had ever really told him those things before; sure, many of them complimented him on his looks or whatever, but it was completely different when Julia said it. She meant it all not as just a superficial comment where it seemed like all she cared about was looks; no, she meant it as something that she truly, honestly loved about him, and that got the young man to smile brightly, for once not reflecting arrogant pride or malicious mischief. For once, he actually looked genuinely happy, honestly glad and flattered.

"Y'know, I think I'm liking this..." he trailed off for a moment. What exactly was this called? "This sort of... communication we have going on right now," he explained, a little amused by the way her light brown eyes were now avoiding his own. "It's a little strange and very new, but... it feels pretty nice," he added, leaning in toward the girl at that moment and placing a kiss on her cheek. Her skin was so smooth that morning; it probably always was, but he had never really taken notice of it until now. Then he leaned a bit lower and placed another kiss on the corner of her jawline, before moving over to her lips and pecking them gently. After this, he pulled back and a more playful sparkle came to his eyes. "I'm kind of offended, though, Jules," he said suddenly, his tones suddenly not sweet and kind, but playfully offended. "You didn't compliment my hair. I know it's not looking too great right now, but c'mon, you've gotta give me credit!" he complained, though it was true he took pride in his hair, ever the conceited one.

Julia couldn't help but grin as she caught sight of her boyfriend smiling at her like that, this sort of genuine smile that she rarely saw from him, something that she hadn't seen in a long while, it felt like. It sometimes made appearances around Jackie, during certain occasions, but it most definitely wasn't anything regular for the young man and she couldn't help but love it the second she saw it. It was sweet, much more handsome than any of his other smiles, and she admired it with near sparkling light brown eyes as soon as it entered his features, loving that it was there because of her own words.

But it was then that he spoke, admitting that he liked the sort of communication they had going at the moment, something she couldn't help but practically glow at. "Me too," she confessed softly, listening as he mentioned that it felt pretty nice as he leaned in to kiss her cheek, a gesture that got her eyes to flutter closed for the tiniest second. Smiling warmly, Julia seemed almost giddily sheepish as Vince began to place kisses elsewhere, on her jawline and lastly her lips, creating a peck that she immediately returned gently. Her light brown eyes shined curiously up at him as he then mentioned with playful offense that she hadn't complimented him on his hair, something she scowled at and rolled her eyes playfully, glancing away from him with the hint of a smile curling up the corners of her lips. "Yeah, well, maybe I love your hair less than everything else," Julia suggested playfully, raising her blonde eyebrows at him teasingly as she returned her gaze to him. "Have you ever thought about that?"

Ferris entered his bedroom with a soft sigh, glancing around for a long moment as though to try and figure out what he was supposed to do without Vianna. puppy And where did that lead him?
"Vi, I'm coming in!"

The young man did a quick spell on the door, one hand still holding a scone he'd stolen from the kitchen, opening it as though he wasn't just casually walking into the bathroom as she was taking a bath. But it was just his wife and there were plenty of bubbles anyway. Besides, it wasn't as though he was staring or anything. Rather, his eyes were downcast thoughtfully as he closed the door behind him and crossed the large bathroom, sitting on the floor next to the self-standing tub and starting to eat his scone, "Julia and Vince are being gross..." he grumbled softly, his mop of curls clearly visible by the top of the tub.

Vince's dark eyebrows rose as Julia mentioned that perhaps she loved his hair less than everything else, asking if he had ever thought about that. "Well… no, no I haven't," he confirmed with an amused smile before letting out a soft chuckle. For some reason, this communication they'd been having for the past half an hour or so made him feel a lot lighter, like a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders. But it felt nice and refreshing to know he had finally let all of this thoughts and feelings out and there was nothing about him that the girl beside him didn't know. It was nice that they could be open like that.

He allowed a comfortable silence to fall between them for the next few moments, distracting himself with thoughts as his blue eyes absentmindedly examined the coffee table before them. Eventually, he snapped out of it and turned to the girl at his side. "We should probably start getting ready, Jules," he said. He hadn't showered yet and was still in his pajamas, after all. "It's our last day in Rome," he reminded her with a small smile. Part of him didn't want it to be the last day, but the other part of him was eager to go home and spoil his little girl. Which reminded him - "We have to get something for Jackie. I promised her," he said, beginning to look a little worried. This was one thing he couldn't procrastinate on; he'd promised Jackie to bring her something, and he knew that if he broke his promise the little girl would hate him for life.
Well, of course she wouldn't really do that, but Vince believed it possible, so it freaked him out.

Vianna had never felt so relaxed and at ease in her life. She had been in the bath for quite a while now, and still had no intentions to get out. The tub was large and spacious, and she was able to stretch her legs under the water. Her long brown hair was up in a bun, so it wouldn't get wet, with a few loose strands framing her lightly tanned face. The warm water had her cheeks light pink in colour, and only her shoulders, neck, and face were visible above the many bubbles floating on the water. The girl's eyes were closed, and she seemed to be in a sort of daze or trance when Ferris's voice suddenly came from beyond the door, startling her as he announced he was coming in. Vianna jumped slightly, blue eyes wide. "But I'm not ready yet!" she complained.

Too late. Ferris was inside, and just a moment later he was sitting on the marble floors, beside the large bathtub. Vianna watched as he sat there, eating his scone and complaining about Julince being gross. She giggled lightly, rather amused by how childlike he seemed at that moment. "Aww, I'm sorry Professor… were they being too horrible?" she asked with an amused smile. "Sorry I wasn't there, I got distracted," she added softly, a bit sheepishly. She couldn't help it, though. The water was so relaxing; she didn't want to leave.

Julia let out a light giggle as Vince mentioned that he had never thought that perhaps she didn't like his hair, light brown eyes completely amused as she rested back against Vince's chest absentmindedly. She too seemed to like this new form of communication they had going, content as she thought about how oddly light she felt, how nice it was to think that Vince now understood her more. But she looked up as he broke the silence, reminding her that it was probably time to go get ready, that needed to go get Jackie something. She smiled slightly at this, giving a brief nod as she clambered up onto her feet, standing right before her boyfriend who was still sitting, extending her tanned hands with a bit of a grin. "C'mon Vincie, we've got to shop for Jackie," she murmured playfully, taking his larger hands into her own and helping him up, her clean face seeming much brighter.

Ferris gave a faint smile as Vianna spoke with an 'Awww', apologizing for not being there. "Don't be," he murmured softly to her with a flash of his dimples. "You're so cute with your bathtub," he admitted with a soft chuckle, leaning back against the large tub with a soft sigh, so tall that he could easily rest his head back over the ledge of it, his neck about as tall as the edge of the bathtub. He did just that, his brown eyes up at the ceiling as he recalled the past half hour or so of time. "I forgot to hide my hickeys," he grumbled with a soft sigh, dimples coming out of hiding once more as he smiled slightly with amusement. "Vince is convinced that I'm slipping things in your food to get you to like me enough to kiss me like this."

Vince watched as Julia got up to her feet and offered him a hand, playfully announcing that they had to go shop for Jackie. The young man gave a bit of a grin and took the girl's hand, though he didn't really use it to pull himself up as doing so would've probably just ended up in pulling the girl down back to the couch instead. But he got up lightly, keeping her hand in his own as he leaned over their height difference (which was a little more noticeable now that she wasn't wearing heels that made her nearly as tall as him) to peck her lips gently. He flashed her a smile, a little amused by how excited she could become with the idea of shopping, and led them both back into the hallway, and over to their bedroom.

Vianna rose her eyebrows slightly as Ferris told her not to be sorry, going on to add that she was so cute with her bathtub. The girl laughed lightly at the comment, and listened as Ferris shared with her that he had forgotten to hide his hickeys, and for that reason now the younger of her two older brothers believed he was slipping things into her food to get her to like him enough to kiss him like that. At this, Vianna's jaw dropped, and her gaze turned to the young man resting his head on the ledge of the bathtub. "That Vince!" she gasped indignantly; it was just like her stupid brother to make comments like that. "Well, no matter what he or Victor say, I know my Professor's not slipping anything into my food or drink," said the girl confidently. "They're just jealous," she decided indignantly, before her features softened and she scooted over closer to the edge of the bathtub, leaning over the young man's face and sneaking a peck kiss to his lips before pulling back as if nothing had just happened.
