| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna listened with a small, warm smile as Ferris explained to her that her opinion did, of course, matter; but there wasn't much he could do about his speed if this was his natural pace. Vianna then sighed, as if this was a let-down, though she was obviously just teasing the boy and didn't honestly cared if he crawled or ran to the shore. "I suppose I could live with that," she decided softly, as if this was a huge inconvenice.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor "What?" the young man replied teasingly as Vianna spoke with a sigh, deciding aloud that she would have to live with his speed. "Can't stand to be close to me for too long?" Ferris teased with a bit of a grin, knowing quite obviously that this wasn't true as they'd been nearly attached at the hip for the last three years as was their preference. "Am I repulsive to you, is that it?" he asked playfully, teasing her with a soft chuckle. "I'm sorry, I know I'm not all that pleasant...most girls don't really go for me," he explained with a fake sigh, amusement clear behind his mock saddened expression. "Except this one girl...she must be mad..." he rolled his eyes with a bit of a grin.

Vianna rose her eyebrows at the boy carrying her as he spoke, asking if she couldn't stand to be close to him for too long, if he was repulsive to her, and at these questions the young girl's jaw dropped slightly though she was well aware that he was only joking with her. The young girl listened as he continued, explaining that he knew he wasn't all that pleasant and most girls didn't go for him, except this one girl who must've been mad. Vianna giggled lightly now, her crystal blue eyes sparkling with amusement before she leaned a little closer to the boy and placed a kiss on his jawline, the furthest she could reach at the moment.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris, after admiring the sound of her giggle, let his brown eyes widen playfully as Vianna began to lean closer and plant a kiss on his jawline. "That one girl's gonna be angry that you did that..." the young man murmured with a sort of disapproving clucking of his tongue, playfully teasing her with a bit of a grin. "I would hate to see her come after a girl like you..." he continued with amusement still in his gaze as he let his brown eyes fall back to her for just a moment before turning back to the walk still between them and the shore, getting shallower and shallower.

Vianna couldn't help but giggle as Ferris mentioned that that one girl who liked him was going to be angry that she did that, going on to add that he would hate to see her come after a girl like her. Vianna chuckled softly then, amused by the boy's words. "Well I guess I'll just have to take that risk," she decided, raising her light eyebrows slightly at him, smiling brightly as her blue eyes examined his features quietly for a couple more moments before turning her gaze to the sand that was coming closer and closer with each step the boy took.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris just chuckled softly as Vianna spoke, deciding that she'd just have to take the risk of that one girl that liked him getting upset. He admired the sight of her, his brown eyes flickering from the upcoming shore back to her pretty face, until they'd finally reached the shore and he set her down on her feet with a small smile. "Y'know...I was thinking," he started with the slightest bit of hesitance in his tone. "That you and I might have a campfire out here tonight?" he suggested, unsure if she'd grown tired of these (they tended to be a reoccuring experience Fervi participated in a lot). "I-I mean, I was thinking first we might like to apparate into town and pick up some food or something, and then...we could come back," he said, his sentences still ending slightly higher as though he was asking her rather than explaining the idea. But he didn't want her to do anything unless she really wanted to, he wanted this to be their honeymoon, meaning that they did whatever they pleased, no matter what.

Vianna grinned as the couple finally arrived to shore, her bare feet meeting the white sand as Ferris set her down. There was a hint of childlike enthusiasm on her features then, though it soon faded away to be replaced by curiosity instead as Ferris began speaking, sharing with her the idea of having a campfire out here in the beach later that night, that they could apparate into town and pick up some food and then come back. Vianna rose her eyebrows slightly for a brief second before grinning at the idea. "That sounds perfect, Professor!" the young girl replied brightly, obviously looking forward to this idea. But she could never grow tired of campfires, they always reminded her of her first days with the boy, of the days when everything was just starting, and it had become such an important part of their relationship that Vianna couldn't help but feeling like it was a crime to not follow this tradition for too long.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor A warm smile immediately spread out over the boy's pale face as soon as Vianna spoke, informing him that this plan sounded perfect, her natural brightness falling into her expression and tone. He loved that. How she could just...bring the brightest element of life and sun and sweetness to whatever she was saying. It was something that made him immediately want to bring her closer, and just moment later his arms were back around her waist, pulling her into him with a warm smile still prominent on his expression. "Alright, then we'll do that after a while," he murmured, though his mind didn't seem to be all that much on what he was talking about, but rather the way the sunlight that was streaming through some of the trees around them made its way onto her tan expression, seeming to illuminate the girl's lightly tanned face.

Vianna's smile widened as Ferris pulled the girl into him, sharing with her that they would get on to setting up their campfire after a while, though she was able to tell he was a little distracted, his mind not necessarily on what he was saying. "I can't wait," the young girl replied softly, her crystal blue eyes admiring his own brown ones as he merely watched her, allowing a silence to fall between them for the next couple moments before speaking again, "C'mon, let's sit for a bit," she said, slipping away from the boy's grip to sit on the soft white sand instead, a short distance away from the water. She tugged at Ferris's hand gently then, in a silent invitation for the boy to join her.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's smile widened just slightly as Vianna mentioned that she couldn't wait before finally suggesting that they sit for a bit. His eyebrows rose slightly, watching as she slipped out of his grasp to sit down on the sand, tugging at his hand for him to join her. But this was far from necessary; the young man would've followed her even if she'd said 'Let's go sit on a volcano made of evil bunnies looking to annihilate the world', he only really cared about being at her side. He took a seat next to her, admiring the sight of the waves and the way that it wasn't too hot, not in the slightest. Sure, it was warm, but they were getting a sweet breeze off the ocean and the fairly tropical trees closer to shore provided a surprising amount of shade over the couple. It was only really baking sunlight right up by the shore.

ooc: sit on a volcano... evil bunnies...
Vianna grinned as Ferris sat beside her, momentarily distracted from their earlier plans of getting some snacks to eat out here. But there was something else on the girl's mind at the moment, another reason she wanted to sit out here with her husband. "Hey, Professor..." the young girl muttered softly after a few moments of silence in which they quietly admired the waves of the ocean before them. "Do you remember... a long time ago, when we were still on the run from the kidnappers... how, sometimes, we would talk about the future and the things we wanted to do... and you said you wanted to open up a bookstore?"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I have no idea where that came from... Ferris turned his brown eyes back to Vianna as she started, giving out a soft 'Hey Professor' as she often did when something was on her mind and she'd decided to share it with him. Those two familiar words brought a soft smile to his face on instinct, "Yeah?" he said softly, listening as she then asked if he remembered back to the time when they were still on the run from the kidnappers. This phrase alone brought a flood of memories back to the young man; hotels, anxious feelings in the pit of his stomach, the first few weeks of his relationship with Vianna, terraces, foreign places, passing notes between rooms...It was all something very sentimental to the young man who remembered that time fondly despite the fact that they were always slightly worried. But all of these recollections had come back to him in just a split second, and so he wasn't distracted as Vianna continued, mentioning the times that they'd talked about the things they wanted to do and he'd said he wanted to open up a bookstore. His eyebrows rose slightly at this, definitely not having expected that to come out of her mouth. He'd mentioned that once...maybe twice? He couldn't exactly remember all the times he'd mentioned it, though he knew it must've come out in one of those late night discussions, and remembered at least once when he'd mentioned it, probably for the first time. "Yeah, I remember..." Ferris agreed with a slight curiosity to his gaze. "Why?" But he was confused as to what made her think of this; he, himself had hardly thought about it for over a year if not two.

ooc:
I'm off for now, Ruthersss! I'll be back tomorrow, though! Byeeeee!
Vianna was absentmindedly running her slender fingers through the sand as she spoke, and she continued doing so as Ferris answered her question, confirming that he did indeed remember this before then going on to ask why she was asking. Vianna smiled faintly and pulled her hand back from the sand then, turning her gaze to the boy sitting beside her. "Well... don't you still want one?" the young girl asked softly, rather curiously. "I haven't heard you mention it in a long time, so I was wondering if you still wanted it... or if you'd changed your mind," she added.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Byyeee Deeeee Deruperssss! Ferris's eyebrows continued to rise just slightly as Vianna asked if he still wanted a bookstore. He was silent, still a little surprised with the topic she chose, and calculating his response when she spoke once more, mentioning that he hadn't mentioned it in a long time and she was wondering if he still wanted it or if he'd changed his mind. He was quiet for another few moments, considering this as he hadn't for a long, long time, and after a few moments he finally spoke. "W-Well...Yeah...I guess I still do," he said with a bit of a shrug as he let a weak chuckle escape his lips. But the young man had been dreaming of his own bookstore since a very young age, shortly after he'd made his first visit to Nordoff's, and though his mind had let it sort of slip from its grasp over the past year or two...it still sounded nice. But Ferris seemed to know everything about any book you put in front of him; he could tell how old it was just by the binding, give or take a couple years, in most cases he could tell you the author and a small history of the person, even at what point that author had written the book in front of him. He loved books. There was always one in his back pocket, at all times, unless he was swmiming or in some other situation where carrying a book would be completely inappropriate or result in its destruction. He read books whenever Vianna wasn't around to keep him company, and even sometimes read them aloud to her on lazy afternoons, though he mostly read them to her at night before bed, almost every night.

Vianna grinned slightly as Ferris replied, sharing with the girl that he did still want to open up his own bookstore, and she watched as his expression seemed to turn a little thoughtful for a moment after that. "I guess, then... it's safe to assume you wouldn't completely hate and despise me if I kind of... sort of helped you open up one?" asked the young girl a little hesitantly, her blue eyes falling to the sand again as her right hand began to run its fingers through it once more, absentmindedly. "It's just... ever since I've met you, I've barely had to spend a sickle on anything, and I just had this money kind of sitting around, and I... I thought it would be a good investment, and I remembered you wanted one..." muttered Vianna, amusingly enough beginning to resemble Ferris an awful lot now with her rambling and need to explain herself. "I talked with Mr. Nordoff about it and he helped me pick a place; I wasn't supposed to tell you until after the honeymoon, when we were back home, but..." Vianna looked up from the sand then, returning her gaze to the boy at her side with a small guilty smile. "You know how I am with surprises..." she confessed softly, remembering the boy's eighteenth birthday (and every birthday after that, really) when she'd given away the surprise beforehand, so it wasn't a surprise anymore.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's eyebrows rose as Vianna spoke once more, asking if it was wrong to assume that he wouldn't completely hate and despise her if she sort of helped him open one up. But he didn't have an answer to this, or at least didn't seem to have the capability of speech anymore, just sort of staring at her. What?! What did she mean 'help him open one up'?! He listened with eager ears but blank eyes as Vianna sort of began to ramble, explaining that she hadn't really had to spend a sickle on anything since they'd met and she sort of had some money sitting around and she thought 'it' would be a good investment. Wait-- what exactly had this girl done? And then she continued, explaining that she'd spoken with Mr. Nordoff (Wait...what?!) and that he'd helped her pick out a place (WHAT?!), before mentioning that she wasn't supposed to tell him until after the honeymoon but he knew how she was with surprises. And he did. She could hardly keep anything in! Especially this... It hadn't even registered to him yet, he was still attempting to comprehend all of this... And as he attempted to do so, his brown eyes merely stared at her, not much of an expression on his pale face. "You...got me...a bookstore?" he murmured disbelievingly, not much of any particular emotion on his face still as he attempted to let this register. But he wasn't used to...getting things. And that sounded bad, but it really wasn't! He didn't usually want to be surprised, he preferred to be the one surprising Vianna. But this...

Vianna watched as Ferris merely stared at her with a blank, expressionless face, not much of a story behind his brown eyes as he just watched her silently. The young girl's smile faded then, to be replaced by a more panicked sort of look. Oh no... she'd just ruined their honeymoon, hadn't she? The girl cringed slightly to herself at this, her blue eyes falling to the sand once again, her brows beginning to furrow just slightly as it began to slowly dawn on her that a whole list had just been developed in the past two minutes, a whole list of things she shouldn't have done - like ruining the surprise and not turning this into a surprise at all. Maybe Ferris didn't really want to open up a bookstore anymore, maybe he'd changed his mind, or maybe it was too much of a burden. They both worked now, after all (Vianna had picked up a job as a Herbologist soon after the couple had started living together), and there would be no one to watch the shop while they were at work, they'd have to hire someone... And Vianna had kind of been hoping they wouldn't have to hire anyone but it was rather more of a family-run business, where Ferris would get the pleasure of being the one to help the customers out with choosing books and all that sort of thing. Vianna was a little lost in these thoughts for the next couple moments, only to be snapped out of it as Ferris finally spoke, asking if she'd gotten him a bookstore. The young girl nodded her head slightly, guilt on her expression though it was hard to see as her blue eyes remained glued to the sand she was a little nervously playing with. "I'm sorry..." she muttered quietly, letting out a sigh, her mind now on how to fix this. "I can still undo it if you want, I mean, all I did was get a place, we don't even have books yet or anything. I hadn't really... thought... I guess I just wanted to give you something, some sort of present for our wedding, and... I didn't really think about all that came with it..." she muttered quietly, shrinking in size as she continued absentmindedly fidgeting with the sand in her hands.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Sorry!? Ferris's brown eyes widened as he realized that Vianna was practically shrinking before his very eyes, this horrible sort of guilty look to her expression that nearly tore his stomach in two to watch. But she was...apologizing for buying him an entire bookstore of his own? She'd gone behind his back, talked to Mr. Nordoff, pulled money out of who-knows-where, and bought him a bookstore. And here she was, muttering guiltily about how she could undo it, that she only had a place, and she'd just wanted to give him something as a wedding gift, that she hadn't thought about what had come with it. "Y-You're sorry?" the young man repeated, brown eyes still completely wide as he watched her blankly for one more moment before his entire expression changed into something sweet; endeared, flattered, surprised, shocked, unsure, extraordinarily excited... And in the next moment, he'd leaned towards her, one hand gently taking her jaw in his warm hand and turning it up before he placed his lips onto her own, starting to kiss her with a sort of hungry passion that he couldn't describe. She'd bought him a bookstore! A bookstore! She'd gone out of her way, she attempted to surprise him (which is all one could ever expect from Vianna, as she could only ever attempt at a surprise, she wasn't all that good at keeping it a secret), and she'd bought him a bookstore. He kissed her like he hadn't seen her for years, like kissing was something he got to do once in a billion years. But how could he help himself? This was possibly the sweetest thing she'd ever done for him, the...best surprise he'd ever gotten, and he didn't have a verbal response at the moment, all he wanted to do was kiss her.

Vianna didn't really respond as Ferris asked if she was sorry, not really sure what to say. But by the boy's blank expression only a moment ago when her blue eyes were still on him, the young girl couldn't help but assume the worst, assume that he hated this surprise (if you could even call it that at this point), and thought her silly for using up all her money like that (most of which had come from the bank account Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi had kept for the girl since before she was born, always adding small amounts to it each year, along with the girl's earnings from her summer jobs at the resort, until the day she graduated, when - as it was tradition and Vince and Victor received the same present - she was allowed full access to that money, to be used on her first few years of independence, until she had a steady job. Except she never really got to spend it as Ferris had bought their home, and so it always just kind of sat in the bank waiting to be spent). It was then that the boy sitting beside her leaned toward her, something which Vianna couldn't really see, and next thing she knew she was facing him again, mild surprise in her widened blue eyes as his hand met her jaw gently, leading the girl's blue eyes back to his own brown ones, and in the next moment, he was kissing her. This, of course, caught the young girl completely off-guard, as all this time she'd thought Ferris was hating her or thinking her absolutely ridiculous, yet here he was, kissing her as if he hadn't kissed her in years, in a way that most certainly did not read 'I'm upset with you' but something more along the lines of... well, 'I love you'. And Vianna couldn't help but feel completely relieved at this, her lips curving into a smile as she very eagerly and enthusiastically returned the kiss, a few joyous giggles managing to escape her lips; but she was happy, happier than ever at that moment, happy that she'd made the boy beside her happy. It was the best feeling in the world.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Oh, those giggles! They were everything, every clue into how joyous the girl was feeling, and Ferris couldn't help but love the sound of them; that mixed with the feel of her lips on his own and the knowledge that she'd gotten him a bookstore made the young man almost giddy, completely overwhelmed with love for the girl. But no one had ever done something like this for him! It wasn't something he was used to, this...receiving thing. It was nice. But he wasn't really focusing on that, in fact, his mind had trouble focusing on anything that didn't revolve around sharing a kiss with the girl at his side. He pulled her closer as his arm found her waist, rather clumsily pushing her back into the sand, and ultimately pushing both of them back onto the sand, finding that he didn't have all that much agility when he was too happy, too concentrated on kissing her. Ferris kissed her lovingly, keeping her close to himself as he too let out a few soft chuckles, finding it a little difficult to keep his lips on her own smoothly when he was so giddy. But eventually he managed and his kiss remained passionate and sweet.

Vianna only seemed to grow even more amused, even more overjoyed, as Ferris pulled her closer and clumsily brought the both of them onto the sand, something which only got a couple more amused giggles to escape the girl's lips. But she was completely overjoyed, ecstatic, insanely happy at this moment. It was true that in these past few years that she'd been with the boy before her, he'd always awarded her many beautiful surprises, always made her feel like she was on top of the world, but now... now the joy those surprises brought her couldn't compare to the joy she felt in surprising him instead (or just giving him something, as this doesn't really count as a proper surprise). There was just something in making the other person happy that felt so much better, that made the girl feel like the most amazing person in the planet; it was a huge compliment that she could honestly make the boy this happy, that she could cause him to feel the need to kiss her the way he was kissing her. And so she continued very eagerly and enthusiastically returning his kisses, though there was always a lot of love in her gestures, and the adoration she felt for him showed through in their kiss.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Finally, during a few more long moments (maybe a full minute or close to it) of sharing sweet kisses with the girl, the only break in silence was the occasional chuckle or overjoyed giggle until Ferris broke apart from his wife, his brown eyes fluttering open only to sparkle at her with an almost childlike joy. "I love you," he told her softly, admiring the sight of her from just a couple inches away, their noses just barely touching. "...So extremely much..." he added softly, his lips brushing up against her own once more softly, sharing a very gentle kiss that only made him a little hungry for more. He kissed her sweetly for just a couple more moments before breaking apart, both of his arms now around her waist as he admired her with an overjoyed expression. "I can't believe..." he shook his head, letting out another soft chuckle. "That you..." he trailed off once more, obviously still disbelieving.

Vianna's crystal blue eyes fluttered open as Ferris pulled away from their kiss, her smile widening, basically beaming up at the boy with pure joy sparkling in her eyes, obviously feeling quite happy at the moment. She listened as the boy then softly shared with her that he loved her, so extremely much, and Vianna's smile widened brightly before the boy then proceeded to kiss her once again, and the young girl was quick to return the gesture lovingly. Her blue eyes fluttered open again as this second kiss came to an end, the brightest of smiles still permanently glued to her lightly tanned face, lighting up her already cheery expression. She listened as Ferris then spoke again, expressing his disbelief over what she had just shared with him, and the girl's smile widened to a grin then. "I'm so happy you're not upset, Professor," the young girl confessed softly, placing a kiss on the boy's cheek then. "I'm pretty excited, actually, to help set up the shop, order some books... It's not huge or anything, so it shouldn't take too long to fill up the bookshelves..." the young girl trailed off for a moment then, her blue eyes absentmindedly admiring the boy's features as she spoke. "And it still needs a name! Any ideas, Professor?" she asked, grinning once again.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's own smile widened as he watched a bright smile light up his wife's face, obviously ecstatic both with how excited they both were and the fact that he now had a bookstore. It was then that she spoke, mentioning how happy she was that he wasn't upset. "I can't believe you'd ever think I could get upset with you!" the young man said with a soft chuckle and a shake of his head. He admired the sight of her, listening with sparkling eyes as she explained that she was excited to help set up the shop and order some books (this made it sound so much more real to the boy!), that the store wasn't all that big so it wouldn't take that long. A sort of daze fell onto Ferris's features with all of her words, statements that he still had a bit of trouble comprehending. His own bookstore...with its own books...and customers...and a place to sell it all in....! He snapped out of his daze as she continued, mentioning that they still needed a name for it, asking if he had any ideas. At this, Ferris just shook his head with a soft, disbelieving chuckle, "I...I dunno yet, Vi," he said, the widest of warm smiles on his pale face as he shook his head.

Vianna gave a light and amused giggle as Ferris confessed that he honestly didn't know what to call the bookstore yet, obviously still trying to take all of this in. "Well, you have the rest of our honeymoon to figure it out," the young girl replied softly, grinning once more before placing another kiss on the boy's cheek. And she turned quiet then, merely examining the boy's features through admiring crystal blue eyes, laying on the sand as comfortably as if they were laying in bed; though, being Vianna, it wasn't long until she wanted to move around once again, and so a moment later she was sitting up on the sand, admiring the sight of the ocean before her for a moment before turning to the boy beside her, who was still laying on the sand, and flashing him a smile.
