| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I'm in the middle of something Dee! Bahaha I'll be back in about an hour or so? Ferris gave the warmest of smiles at the sight of his wife looking up at him like that, showing off those blue eyes that so clearly displayed her approval and happiness with what he'd gotten her, of the afternoon he'd endured in a jewelry store with her brothers to get it for her. But it was all worth it, quite obviously. Of course it was worth it to the young man! He'd made her happy, and that was the thing Ferris had ever really gotten the most joy out of since he'd met her. Before he could do it himself, she was suddenly leaning up on her toes in that way that clearly meant he was about to receive a kiss, allowing him to pull her a bit closer just before her lips came in contact with his own. He returned the gesture as sweetly as he could, immediately feeling the love she herself was putting into it, how wonderful she was making the short kiss. And though the kiss wasn't the longest they'd shared, by far, it was still mind-numbing to the young man whose brown eyes fluttered open as they separated, the goofiest of his lopsided grins coming onto his expression as she spoke to him with one of those smiles that made his heart melt. "I love you too gem," Ferris admitted softly, dimples coming out of hiding as his brown eyes sparkled at her. "More than anything."

Vianna beamed brightly at her husband's response to her soft, loving words, her blue eyes sparkling and her smile wide and bright. She turned quiet again for the next couple moments before seeming to snap out of this bubble she always got herself lost in when she was with Ferris, just coming to realize now that they were on Ponte Sant'Angelo, that there were other people around and a beautiful sight ahead of them. "Would you like to walk the rest of the bridge, Professor?" the girl suggested with a smile, her gaze absentmindedly falling for a moment there to the rest of the bridge. They still had quite a bit of a distance to walk before getting to the other end, though it wasn't really too horribly much.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris, who was beginning to look a lot like that seventeen-year-old once more, snapped out of his daze as Vianna spoke, quickly realizing that he must've been staring at her for a good minute or so without pause. But how could he not? She was just so pretty there before him, wearing the necklace he'd designed for her, smiling at him in that way that still got his heart to melt after their seven years of being together. It was wonderful. But he listened to her as she spoke, listening as she asked if he wanted to continue to walk the bridge, and it was at that moment that he seemed to realize they were still on a bridge, still on a major monument with other people and things to see. He gave a soft, sheepish chuckle very reminiscent of his slightly nerdier days, and nodded, releasing her waist to instead take hold of her smaller hand. "You know, your brothers nearly murdered me when they heard I forgot it was our anniversary this morning," Ferris admitted softly as they began to walk further down the bridge.

Vianna smiled warmly as Ferris released her waist to take her hand instead, relishing in the feel of his warm hand wrapped cozily around her own, keeping it warm in the chilly night air. She gazed to the side as they walked, to the ancient city in the distance brightly lit by its own lights, absentmindedly admiring the sight of it, and the beauty that decorated this bridge, with each angel staring down at them with blank eyes, their faces expressionless and even a bit creepy in the darkness of night, despite the fact that they were supposed to be messengers of God. Vianna was snapped out of thoughts on all this, though, as the young man at her side spoke, sharing with her that her brothers had nearly murdered him when he shared that he'd forgotten their anniversary with them. Vianna rose her eyebrows at this. "Professor, you should know better than to tell my brothers something like that!" she said, though there was an amused smile curving her lips. It was just like her naive Professor to think that her brothers wouldn't take even the slightest, tiniest opportunity to make him feel like the worst possible person alive.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna mentioned that he should've known better than to tell her brothers something like that, knowing full well that he probably should've thought about it before he spilled the beans to the two people who truly enjoyed making him feel bad. "Yeah, I know," he murmured with a soft smile and a shrug, gazing around at his surroundings absentmindedly. "But that's what we did today. I explained that I wanted to get you something for our anniversary, and I sort of let it slip that I'd forgotten this morning," the young man narrated his tale with a small, rather innocent smile. "They didn't take that so well." Ferris gave a hearty chuckle, sharing a glance with his wife before allowing his gaze to fall to his fairly large feet walking next to her smaller ones. He gave out a soft, almost snort-like chuckle as he seemed to remember something else, "Victor seems convinced that I've been acting the way I do around you for the past seven years because I was just trying to trick you into falling in love with me." His eyebrows rose and he gave her a look of mock seriousness as though to say, 'You should've known better than to trust me, I'm such a sneaky husband'. And apparently, now that we have Gabe and you're pretty much tied to me whether you like it or not, I've 'dropped the act' and have started forgetting very important things along with everything else." He flashed her a grin.

Vianna listened quietly and attentively as Ferris explained to her that he had been sharing with her brothers that he wanted to get her something for their anniversary, but had in the process, accidentally slipped that he had also forgotten the anniversary. Vianna smiled faintly as the young man shared then that her brothers hadn't taken that so well, her blue eyes absentmindedly watching all the tourists coming from and heading to the other end of the bridge. She remained quiet, listening as the young man then shared with her that her oldest brother seemed convinced that he had only been trying to trick her into falling in love with him, and that the only reason they were still together was because Gabe kept her tied to Ferris. Vianna's blue eyes widened at all of this, her smile fading. Good Merlin! Would her brothers ever stop being idiots?! "I can't believ-- Victor-- Ughh..." The girl let out a frustrated sigh, a crease forming between her eyebrows as they furrowed angrily, clearly rather upset with this news. But she hated when her brothers were jerks to her husband, and though it had gotten better over the years, this bit of information just completely sent her back to those days when they were completely dedicated to being a pain in the neck about her relationship with Ferris. "Well, I don't believe any of that," said the girl determinedly after a moment of silence, unaware that she was now glaring away at the distance rather than just watching curiously as she had been earlier. "My brothers are stupid, they don't know anything, and they don't know how our relationship works. But... agh..." She seemed annoyed once more. "I can't believe Victor would bring Gabe into this! Just wait 'til I see him again!"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Check your PMs in a second! Ferris, who'd been glancing off into the distance, turned back to his wife with slightly raised eyebrows as she suddenly started to sort of start and stop her statements of frustration. A little surprised by this reaction, the young man remained silent as he listened to her give a frustrated sigh, that little crease appearing between her eyebrows as she glared determinedly into the distance and decided that she didn't believe any of that. He gave a faint smile at her determination, watching with dazed awe in his brown eyes as she began to complain about how stupid her brothers were, how they didn't know anything and they definitely didn't know how their relationship worked. But it was when Vianna threatened the idea of seeing Victor again when Ferris got a sort of goofy grin from her obvious annoyance, obviously finding her to be the most interesting thing on earth at that moment. He merely stared at her for a moment with an almost flattered sort of expression before he finally explained himself, though unsure if she'd even noticed his constant stare for the past few moments. "Why do you have to be so adorable when you're angry?!" the young man complained in a groan/grumble (some combination of the sort), shaking his head with a large sort of lopsided grin on his pale face. He glanced at her from the corner of his eyes, dimples coming out of hiding as he stopped walking and simply pulled her over to him, very gently planting his lips on her own.

ooc: Okay
Vianna was a little distracted in thoughts of hexing her oldest brother when Ferris suddenly spoke, asking in a groan why she had to be so adorable when she was angry. This got Vianna's eyebrows to unfurrow and raise instead, a startled sort of unexpected surprise washing over her features. She turned to the young man at her side then, her blue eyes clearly surprised by the comment she had not been expecting in the slightest, before he came to a halt and pulled her over to him, placing his lips upon her own. Vianna was still a little startled, but she was quick to return the gesture lovingly, her lips beginning to curve with amusement. By the time the kiss ended and they pulled back, the smile was wide and amused on her lightly tanned face. "What was that for?" she asked, disbelieving and surprised amusement on her lightly tanned features.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris couldn't help but grow more and more amused as he gently kissed the girl before him, loving every second of the sweet gesture that never ceased to get his heart to speed up. But he wanted her closer and he wanted to kiss her and he wanted to make her see exactly how adorable he thought she was. Though before he could really deepen their kiss or anything of the sort, her rosy lips had separated from his own and she was smiling at him that smile that got his heart to leap. He beamed at her, dimples coming out of hiding as he revealed his smile to her, listening as she asked what that kiss had been for. And as though cursed with thinking everything was adorable, the young man had never found that question to be cuter. He merely let out a low sort of groan from the back of his throat, as though her sweet questions were literally hurting him, and pulled her back to his chest as he muttered something along the lines of, "You're killing me here, gem!", and lovingly planting his lips back on her own.

Vianna's light eyebrows rose just very slightly as, in response, Ferris merely groaned, as if she was causing him physical harm, before pulling her back over to him and complaining that she was killing him. The girl seemed amused by this, but a little puzzled at the same time, as she still couldn't really understand what she was doing to make him feel this way, but it was certainly nothing she felt badly about as his lips met her own once more, and the girl was quick to return his kiss as sweetly and lovingly as she could, relishing in the feel of his lips back on her own. Smiling just very slightly as she kissed him, Vianna allowed the wonderful gesture to last a few very long moments, suddenly finding it difficult to pull away from him, but eventually had to do so to catch her breath and not disturb anyone passing them by. As she pulled back, Vianna smiled brightly, all annoyance with her oldest brother forgotten, her blue eyes sparkling up at the young man before her. "I'm still not sure what I did, but I think I like the results it's having," she confessed playfully with a bit of a grin.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris was deeply enjoying their kiss, once more feeling as though he hadn't truly kissed her in ages, and allowing his mind to drift off for the good few moments of bliss it lasted. But when they finally did break apart, the young man's dark brown eyes fluttered open just to sparkle at the girl before him, the warmest of smiles crossing over his features and revealing his dimples on accident. He listened as she mentioned that she was still unsure as to what she did but she liked the results it was having, something that got him to let out a hearty chuckle. He laughed softly into the cool night air for a few moments before letting them die down and returning his gaze to the woman before him. "You're just so cute, gem," he grumbled softly to her as he brought her closer, snug up against his broad chest as he naturally towered over her by nearly a foot, brown eyes sparkling. "There's just something about little vengeant Vi that's the most adorable thing on the planet..." he tried his best to explain as he leaned through their height difference, planting the sweetest of kisses to her jawline. "With your eyebrows all furrowed..." he continued softly, kissing her forehead, "And a little pout on your lips..." he pecked her rosy lips lovingly for the sweetest of moments.

Vianna couldn't help but smile, even slightly sheepishly, as Ferris shared simply with her that she was cute, her blue eyes absentmindedly gazing out to the cityscape in the distance before the young man spoke again, explaining that there was just something about 'little vengeant Vi' that was the most adorable thing on the planet. At this, the girl returned her gaze back to him with raised eyebrows, a mix between playful surprise and great amusement on her features. "Vengeant Vi?" she repeated with a soft chuckle, listening as he went on to list how some of her features changed when she turned into 'vengeant' mode, her smile widening each time his lips met her skin or her own lips. She returned the gesture lovingly, amusement still on her features as her blue eyes sparkled up at his own brown ones. "So my Professor likes when his wife is vengefully plotting against her brothers?" she asked, raising her eyebrows slightly once more, another chuckle escaping her lips after she spoke, rather amused by the way he found her annoyance with her brothers to be amusing and even cute.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor "Don't get me wrong," the young man warned softly as Vianna asked for confirmation that her Professor liked when his wife was vengefully plotting against her brothers, flashing her a bit of a grin, "I like my sweet Vi just as much, if not more..." Ferris reminded her softly, bringing up a hand from her waist to instead hold the side of her jaw, his thumb very gently stroking her smooth skin, admiring its texture though his brown eyes never left her blue ones. Amusement written on his expression, he tried his best to explain himself, "There's just something really amusing and cute about you threatening what's going to happen when you see your brothers again," he explained with a shrug and a soft chuckle, dimples coming out of hiding with every bit of his speech and smile. "And on top of that adorable little expression, you're defending little ol' me, your little Professor from your big bad brothers."

Vianna gave a soft chuckle and an understanding nod as Ferris started, well aware that her husband didn't necessarily find joy in watching her argue with her brothers or anything of the sort, of course not. She listened as he then went on to explain what it was exactly that he liked so much about her when she was going around threatening what would happen to her brothers, in the process defending him as well, and her smile widened, warm but still filled with amusement. "I think it's only fair I defend my 'little ol'' Professor when he's being bullied by my mean brothers," she said with a smile, amusement still clear on her features as she leaned on her toes and pecked the young man's lips gently, letting the gesture last a couple moments longer than necessary before pulling back.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna spoke, mentioning that she thought it was only fair to defend her Professor when he was being bullied by her big mean brothers, smiling at her thoughtfully for a moment before returning the sweet peck she placed on his lips. "Well, I like having my own little super hero," he admitted softly, his brown eyes a bit thoughtful as he rested his forehead against her own gently, seeming to forget that there were other people around or the fact that they were still on a large bridge. "I have to admit, I felt pretty bad though..." Ferris admitted softly with a weak, sheepish smile, dimples coming out of concealment just slightly as he let his gaze drift away from her momentarily. But how could he have not felt bad for forgetting their anniversary!? And Vince and Victor had made it horribly convincing when they reminded him that this was a major part of his relationship with Vianna - this was their anniversary! And he'd forgotten it.

Vianna grinned as Ferris shared he liked having his own little superhero, her blue eyes sparkling up at his own brown ones as his forehead came to rest against her own, taking this proximity to admire his features closely, listening a little absentmindedly as he continued to speak. At the words that followed, Vianna's smile faded and her brows furrowed slightly. "Aw, Professor..." she said softly, her blue eyes, which had been absentmindedly watching his lips move, returned to his eyes. "You don't have to feel bad at all," she said, pecking his lips gently. "I was lucky I even remembered. With Gabe and work and everything... it's been hard on both of us," she assured him with a small sympathetic smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I've gotta get off for a couple hours or so Dee Derupersss! But I'll definitely be back after that for a good while! Ferris gave a soft, almost sheepish and knowing smile as Vianna gave out one of her 'Aw, Professor's, assuring him that he didn't have to feel bad at all. He gave a brief shrug at this, comforted just slightly by the sweet lips he found on his own just a moment later, returning the gesture as sweetly as he could for the moment it lasted. But he listened as she continued, assuring him once more that she was lucky she herself as remembered, that it was hard on the both of them. "Yeah, I know," he muttered softly, flashing her a weak smile though he seemed rather reluctant to accept this easy out she was so clearly offering him. "I just..." he trailed off for a moment, thinking as his brown eyes flickered to her blue ones. "I dunno, my gem just deserves more recognition than that..." Ferris explained softly, pressing a loving, warm kiss to her forehead. "And I don't like to think that I didn't give you that."

Vianna listened with slightly concerned blue eyes (as she was sure, even as she had been saying the words, that Ferris would be reluctant to just accept it and move on) as the young man before her replied to her words, explaining that he felt like she deserved more recognition than that, and he didn't like to think he didn't give her that. Vianna smiled once more, shaking her head slightly at his words. "At least you were thoughtful enough to get me something, Professor, I think I feel recognized enough," she said with a soft chuckle. "But I didn't get you anything," she added, her smile fading slightly and turning a little more guilty now. She didn't want the young man to feel bad just because she was feeling guilty, though, as had happened earlier, so she quickly pushed the subject aside. "C'mon, it's our anniversary and we're doing too much moping!" she said with a bright smile, pulling back from the young man and keeping his hand in her own. "Are we going to cross this bridge or not?" she asked, already beginning to drag him down the cobblestone path.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened as Vianna mentioned that he was thoughtful enough to get her something, which she hadn't even done. He gave a bit of a grin at this, rolling his eyes playfully at the slight guilt in her tones. "Vi! You know I'm not good at getting gifts anyway," he grumbled playfully, kissing her forehead sweetly before flashing her a bit of a grin and listening as she more positively mentioned that it was their anniversary and they'd been doing nothing but moping, asking if they were planning on crossing this bridge. Before he could even answer, he was being tugged in the direction they'd been headed before, letting out a couple soft chuckles as he quickly caught up with his arm. "You've always been too fast for me," he teased, flashing her a bit of a goofy grin as he intwined their fingers, quickly beginning to make progress on the bridge unlike their stationary state before.

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris finally caught up with her, mentioning that she had always been too fast for him. This comment reminded her of their honeymoon, when she would run through the trees and the forest in the direction of the beach just a short distance away from their cabin, always turning their trips there into a competition and making her way gracefully past the trees and branches while leaving her new husband a short distance behind. "Perhaps that would explain why I always win all of our races," said Vianna with mock thoughtfulness and playful arrogance, slowing her steps so they were walking more normally now and not running, flashing the young man at her side a grin.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris, who had been glancing around at the scenery before them, turned his expression back to the girl at his side as she spoke, mentioning that it might've been due to her speed that she ran all of their races. His jaw dropped playfully at this, his eyebrows raising for a moment before he gave a bit of a smile. "We'll see who can win," he started with a new look of determination on his pale expression. "Winner of this is the official winner of all winning of the anniversary date," he decided, obviously challenging her as he released her hand and paused in the bridge. There weren't all that many people around, it definitely wasn't crowded or anything, but there were a good few people wandering around the sides and edges of the bridge - hardly anyone in the middle. "Let's race to the end," he announced with a bit of a grin, sure that they could run the thirty yards or so left.

Vianna's eyebrows rose and the playfulness left her features as she turned a little more serious, though still greatly amused, as her husband spoke deciding the winner of 'this' was the official 'winner of all winning of the anniversary date'. Vianna had a feeling of what was coming; he was going to propose a race. And surely enough, just a moment later, the young man had released her hand and taken his place right in the middle of the bridge, where it was the least crowded. Vianna joined him soon enough and listened with a small grin as he decided they would race to the end of the bridge. "Sounds good," she said with a nod, her posture changing slightly to resemble that of someone who was just about to set off on a run. "On the count of three," she said, beaming at the young man beside her. "One..."
And she was off.
There was no two and there was no three. Just a second after she had said the first number, Vianna had already set off into the distance as quickly as her legs would allow her, giggling with amusement to herself as she did so, though trying her best to stop, as it was making it a little difficult for her to breathe properly. The chilly night air wasn't much help either, and it burned her throat as she took deep breaths, but she didn't care. She was moving fast, ignoring all the people who just stared at them like they were crazy. She knew they were an odd couple. And she wouldn't have it any other way.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor He should've known better.
He should've known that Vianna didn't believe in the numbers two and three.
But in all of his years with Vianna, his naivety always over-powered his logic and he managed to forget that his wife was a dirty rotten cheater.
So imagine poor Ferris's shock and extreme disappointment (in his own skills of recalling Vianna's tactics) when the girl at his side took off at one when they'd agreed upon three. Three.
Brown eyes widening, the young man had to do a double take to make sure he'd really just seen her run off at one. But he didn't have much time for anything else and in the next moment, Ferris was running at top speed, his long legs giving him a bit of an advantage as he quickly caught up with the girl who always seemed to have no concious when it came to competition. "You CHEATER!" was all Ferris's breathing situation would allow him to call out as he raced on after her, attempting his best to catch up with the girl who seemed to be so speedy, completely ignoring the strange looks they were getting. He was used to the fact that people saw them a little oddly; they were odd. And he always loved that.

Vianna had finally been able to control her giggles when Ferris suddenly began to catch up with her, calling after her and accusing her of being a cheater, something which only got the girl to grow all the more amused, clearly quite pleased with her evil tactics. "Stop making me laugh!" she called back to him, turning her head only to find that the young man was only a couple steps behind her. She flashed him a smile and quickly picked up speed, though she was finding it extremely difficult to stop laughing, it was like the more they ran, the more amusing the situation became for her, and she couldn't concentrate entirely on running like she had originally intended to. Dammit. That was Ferris's fault, being all funny and amusing, naively falling for her tricks and calling her a cheater.
Vianna had to distract her mind from thoughts of him to stop the laughter, but there were still a few giggles that would escape her lips every now and then as she continued running through the cold air, coming closer to the end of the bridge with each step she took.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris let out a hearty chuckle as Vianna warned him to stop making her laugh, something which obviously wasn't going to happen with the young man far too amused and mock annoyed with her cheating tactics. "Cheater!" he merely called once more in the hopes that perhaps she'd fall into a fit of giggles once more. And though he'd been a couple steps behind, Vianna seemed to be keeping her pace up well and was still in the lead as they got nearer and nearer to the finish line. He needed to do something to distract her!
"Vi!" and the second she'd paused and turned to look at him, he was right at her side, pecking her lips teasingly before putting on a surprising burst of speed and quickly getting dangerously close to the finish line before her.
