Ferris gave a playful smile as Vianna asked if he imagined that their meeting would be as great as it was or even better, pulling her a bit closer as he cocked his head slightly to the side, admiring her bright blue eyes as he leaned in to press the most loving of peck kisses on her rosy lips. He allowed his own to rest there for a long couple moments, just taking in the feel of her sweet lips so nice and gentle on his own, before breaking apart and flashing her the warmest of smiles. "I don't think I could've imagined it to be quite this good," he muttered to her as his dimples came out of hiding once more and he gave a soft chuckle, bringing up one of his hands to gently hold her chin between his thumb and pointer finger, holding her expression up towards him so he could admire her shamelessly with sparkling brown eyes.

Vianna beamed at the young man's response, obviously quite happy with it, her blue eyes sparkling brightly at him as he merely stared at her in return, pure adoration in her gaze. "Sooo..." she started after a few moments of silence in which they just exchanged long gazes, completely oblivious to the people passing them by and giving them funny looks. "Are we going to the bridge or has my Professor decided he just wants to stand out here and make a show of himself and his wife for everyone passing by to see?" she asked playfully.

"I dunno, maybe the latter..." the young man grumbled playfully at her question just for the sake of saying the unexpected, obviously just teasing as amusement grew behind his pale expression. Ferris beamed at the girl in his arms for another moment, pecking her lips sweetly and playfully for a sweet second before letting out a sigh, "Alright, navigate me gem," he finally said as he took a step away from the wall with a mock impatient look on his expression, as though having to steap away from that wall was the most unwanted task he'd ever had in his life. But he flashed her a smile just a moment later and glanced around them as though some sign would pop up to tell him which way to go.

Vianna gasped and her jaw dropped with playful surprise as Ferris decided he just wanted to stay there and make a show of himself and his wife for everyone to see. "Professor!" she complained with an amused smile, chuckles escaping her smiling rosy lips. But it was then that the young man finally left the wall and they were back on the streets again, asking her to navigate him. "Well..." started Vianna. "It's a little difficult when my back is to whatever you might be seeing," she said with a chuckle. "Why don't I go on your back instead?" she asked with a bit of a grin. It had been a while since she'd last received a piggyback ride from her husband.

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna mentioned that it was rather difficult to navigate when her back was to whatever he was seeing, suggesting that perhaps she took a piggyback ride instead and flashing him one of those grins that he couldn't help but admire. "But if you're all the way back there..." he started, speaking about it as though she'd be a mile behind him rather than attached to his back with her arms wrapped around him, "...I can't just give you these whenever I want.." he grumbled softly, pecking her lips a couple times with a flash of a boyish smile, seeming very much like that seventeen-year-old that didn't ever want to release his girlfriend.

Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris started dramatically, as if she was going to be miles behind him, and returned the peck kiss he awarded her as he tried to prove his point. "Awww, maybe you can't give me any kisses anymore, but I can still give you kisses," she said, raising her light eyebrows slightly at the young man before her, a smile adorning her lips. "And at the end of the day, that's all that matters; that Vianna can give her Professor kisses," she decided with a nod, putting on a serious expression, as if him being able to give her kisses didn't matter nearly half as much because she still got to enjoy giving him kisses.

Ferris listened as Vianna spoke, explaining that she could still give him kisses if she was riding on his back, something that got his eyebrows to raise playfully. Before he could respond to that, she was further explaining that at the end of the day, all that mattered was that Vianna could give her Professor kisses. His jaw dropped at this statement, brown eyes widening playfully as he pulled her closer, "That's not true!" he growled to her sweetly, leaning forward to kiss her lips lovingly for just a couple moments, unable to help himself, before breaking apart and beaming at her. "For the sake of navigation, I'll put you on my back," he announced as though he was making a deal with her, eyebrows slightly raised playfully. "But for every kiss you give me, I'm giving you two the next chance I get."

Vianna giggled lightly at Ferris's reaction to her words, completely amused, and she returned the peck kiss the young man then proceeded to place on her lips, sweetly nad lovingly for the couple brief moments it lasted. She listened as he then explained that he would let her ride on his back just for the sake of navigation, but for every kiss she gave him, he was giving her two the next chance he got. "Oh I don't think you'll be able to keep up and keep count," she said confidently, grinning at him and placing a kiss on his cheek before pulling herself off him, letting her feet meet the cobblestone path. Once back on her feet, Vianna walked around her husband and stood behind him. "Get a bit lower, Professor?" she asked of him so she could climb onto his back with ease; he was far too tall when he stood straight, so she couldn't really just get on him unless he lowered a bit.

Ferris listened as Vianna informed him she didn't think he'd be able to keep count, placing a kiss on his cheek before climbing out of his arms (something he let happen reluctantly). "I think I'll manage," he grumbled playfully, flashing her a small smile as she slipped away from him and disappeared behind him, asking for him to get a bit lower so she could climb on behind him. The young man turned around with a small smile rather unexpectedly, his warm hands finding each side of her waist as he leaned in to very lovingly place the sweetest of kisses on his wife's rosy lips, beginning to treat her to a slow, adoring kiss that lasted for a good couple moments. When he finally broke apart, he flashed her the warmest of his lopsided smiles, sparkling his brown eyes at her, "Last one before I lose the privelage," he joked before releasing her and turning back around, crouching down in preparation for her getting on.

Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as Ferris turned around, facing her again. Her brows then furrowed disapprovingly, and she was just about to ask the young man what he was up to when his hands suddenly found her waist, and next thing she knew, he was leaning in toward her. Vianna's brows unfurrowed and her blue eyes turned a little startled at that moment, even a slightly bit flustered. And it was rather amusing that she'd feel that way when receiving a kiss from her husband should be no surprise, when they had been kissing for the past seven years. But today was different, today they were teenagers again, and every kiss they shared and every glance they exchanged sent a sort of electricity to run through their veins, it sent them off to a sort of bliss that they hadn't experienced in what felt like ages.
So, when the young man's lips finally met her own, Vianna returned the kiss lovingly, as sweetly as she could, falling into a sort of daze as she did so. When he pulled back, her blue eyes were a bit delayed in fluttering open, and when they did, her gaze was completely dazed, admiring of the sight that greeted her. She chuckled softly at his words before he then turned around, crouching down just enough for her to climb onto his back, her legs wrapping around his waist and her arms around his neck. Giggling lightly to herself, she leaned in over his shoulder and placed a kiss on his cheek, unable to help herself. "Off we go! Just keep going straight down this path," she instructed with a smile.

Ferris couldn't help but sort of beam to himself as he turned around to crouch down, remembering that expression that had crossed his wife's face after he'd pulled away from their kiss. He hadn't seen that sort of expression in a long time after he'd kissed her and it sort of sent the warmest of happy feelings running through his veins, feeling very much like that teenager that had just met the girl he loved more than anything in the world. His smile widened as Vianna hopped on his back, giggling lightly and kissing his cheek before instructing him to keep going straight down the path. "Alright navigator," the young man replied with a bit of a grin, dimples coming out of hiding. "That's one," he added playfully, beginning the count of how many kisses he'd received.

Over the next five minutes or so of walking, they were almost to where they wanted to be, Ferris awaiting the last direction from the navigator on his back. "Alright, where to next?"

"Just turn left here, and if we make a right a little further down, we should reach the Castel Sant'Angelo, which the bridge leads to," Vianna explained after the couple had been walking (or, well, Ferris had been walking) for a few long moments, too busy in their own little world of bliss and giggles and kisses to notice the people passing by staring at them with amusement. They were, after all, the only couple using this mode of transportation to get around the Roman streets. Throughout this ride, Vianna had been sneaking kisses onto her husband's cheeks and neck, mischievously trying to mess up his kiss count every time he announced what number they were on with her kisses. "What number was this, again, Professor?" she asked with a small grin after placing yet another kiss to his cheek.

Ferris gave a brief nod at these instructions, taking the left as she told him to and noting where he'd need to turn right. But he was distracted from his mission as she asked what number kiss they were on, giving a soft smile as she planted yet another kiss to his cheek (he was pretty sure his cheeks must've been a little pink at this point from all the contact they were getting; plus maybe a tiny bit of blushing). "Uh...I think it's come up to about..23?" he suggested with a weak smile, honestly a bit unsure as to what the true number was. He remembered counting up to twenty, but the last couple minutes had been a blur do to the fact that she'd attempted quite a few to his neck, causing the young man to grow preoccupied with squirming.

"Has it?" Vianna replied with a smile as Ferris guessed that they were on kiss number twenty-three now. "So if I've given you twenty-three kisses, how many do you owe me?" she asked curiously, raising her eyebrows slightly, her blue eyes absentmindedly admiring their surroundings, the beauty and history that accompanied a city as old and artistic as Rome. She truly hoped that the Trevi Fountain would keep up with its legend and allow the couple a trip back here some time in the future.

Ferris gave a bit of a smile as Vianna spoke, asking how many kisses he owed her since she'd given him twenty-three kisses. "Forty-six," he admitted softly, turning his head just slightly as they rounded the corner on the right, flashing her a bit of a smile before reutnring his gaze before himself just to see the monument they'd been searching for. His feet paused on the cobblestones, his eyebrows raising just slightly as he took in the sight of this bridge, bigger than he'd imagined and providing the nicest of views into the Roman skyline. "Wow," he muttered softly with raised eyebrows, letting out a soft chuckle. "I think we found it."

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris shared with her that he owed her forty-six kisses, growing distracted from this conversation a moment later as they came upon the Castel Sant'Angelo which, in turn, led them to the Ponte Sant'Angelo. It was a beautiful bridge, wide enough to allow a generous amount of people to walk on it without having to worry about space. Despite the fact that it was an ancient bridge, built sometime around 136 A.D., it had a very medieval look to it, and that was due to the statues of the saints that adorned the entrance and the statues of the angels that lined the bridge, making a beautiful decoration and giving it that medieval feel it carried. Vianna beamed at the sight of the statues and the sight of a part of Rome that they got to see from the bridge, the waters beneath the bridge sparkling brightly with the reflection of the city lights. "It's beautiful," said Vianna softly as she gazed admiringly at the view and the bridge itself; she'd heard about this place, and the last time she'd seen it she had been just a child; she didn't remember it being this impressive.

Ferris grew a bit awed over the sight before him as they entered onto the wide, historical bridge, very gently setting his wife down so she could get back onto her own feet. He allowed his dark brown eyes to scan over the horizon, slightly widened with the sight that the slightly populated bridge was giving him, not having expected it to be this impressive. "It is," the young man agreed softly as Vianna mentioned it was beautiful, turning his brown eyes over to her with a small smile as he caught sight of her. He slipped his arms around her slender waist, standing directly behind her as they looked out over the bridge together, leaning down and resting his chin on her shoulder. "One," he murmured sweetly, counting his kissing count as he gently placed a kiss to her jaw.

Vianna smiled as Ferris gently set her back down onto her feet, turning her attention to the view the bridge offered them, standing right between two of the angels statues as she admired the view ahead. It was beautiful, like it should have been a painting from many centuries ago, from the days when the architecture of this ancient city should have still been considered new, rather than historical like it was now. The girl's smile widened as Ferris's arms wrapped around her waist, letting out a soft amused chuckle as the young man then placed a kiss on her jaw and counted it as the first of the kisses he owed her. "Only forty-five more to go," she reminded him playfully before chuckling once more with amusement at this, her blue eyes still gazing out admiringly at the city before them.

Ferris listened as Vianna spoke, mentioning with one of those pretty smiles she had that there was only forty-five more kisses to go. After a couple mnutes of taking in the view, he began to observe her, watching as she turned her bright blue eyes out over the city before them, admiring her small nose and the way her rosy lips were shaped, perfectly pink and smooth, round and full but not too full, appreciating how there wasn't a trace of lip gloss anywhere on them. He smiled slightly to himself as he brought up a hand to gently turn her head, admiring her bright blue eyes focused on him before leaning forward to kiss those lips he loved so much. He kissed his wife lovingly for a long few moments, unable to help himself as he pulled her even closer to his chest, back into him as he leaned towards her and allowed his brown eyes to flutter close. When he finally did break apart, he was beaming at Vianna, his hand traveling a bit to cup her jaw comfortably, his thumb stroking her smooth skin slowly. "I love you gem..."

Vianna's crystal blue eyes fell upon her husband's own brown ones as he led her gaze over to him, a warm smile instinctually adorning her lightly tanned face at the sight of him, her light eyes beginning to sparkle the way they so often did whenever she was with the young man she loved most, whenever she got the pleasure of seeing him near her. Her blue eyes eventually closed, though, as he began to lean in toward her, placing his lips on her own in a kiss the girl returned lovingly and adoringly, relishing in the wonderful bliss that always accompanied their kisses before it came to an end and her blue eyes opened again, her lips curving into the brightest of smiles at the sight of the young man before her. "I love you too, mio Professore," she replied, her smile widening to a playful grin.

Ferris could feel his heart warming up, melting and growing fuzzy right there in his chest, starting to feel that sort of feeling that came to him whenever Vianna graced him with one of her smiles, her kisses, or just her presence in general. He beamed with the warmest of smiles as she told him she loved him before calling him his favourite nickname in beautiful Italian, her lips moving in that way he loved so much. "Chills, Vi, chills..." he reminded her playfully, referring to his previous statements regarding her use of her native language and letting out a soft chuckle as he pulled her into his chest in a warm hug. It felt like a long time since he'd last been able to just hug his wife. And that sounded bad, as though he hadn't seen her in years or something of the sort, but it was true. They just never really thought about a hug and it's worth. Peck kisses and the occasional longer kiss, his arms around her whenever they could be, but...a hug? They never just hugged, or at least not in the past few months, and he was beginning to realize how nice it was to just be able to hold his wife right next to him.

Ferris allowed comfortable silence to fall between them, taking in the view before them with thoughtful brown eyes, his breathing slowed down and gentle, calm as he relaxed with his wife. When he finally did break the silence, his voice was gentle, soft as though afraid that speaking any louder would disrupt their calm. "I have something for you," he admitted with a small smile.

Vianna gave an amused soft chuckle as Ferris reminded her of the chills it brought him whenever she spoke in her native tongue, something which still amused but flattered the girl, her smile sparkling brightly up at her husband. Her smile only widened then, as the young man pulled her into him in a hug, something that felt surprisingly comforting and cozy, much better than she had expected a hug to feel. It was true that the couple didn't very often just... hug. They would hug after spending time apart, as a greeting, but it was very rarely that they actually just hugged and stayed like that for longer than a few seconds, and the girl loved it. It was a nice feeling, she loved being in his arms, in his company, this close to the person she loved most.

Vianna had returned her gaze to the view before them as they fell into a comfortable silence, the chill of the Roman night air barely noticeable to the girl who was warm in her sweater and her husband's arms; she was a lot cozier and warmer than she had expected to be. The view ahead was beautiful, it was like time had been frozen for all these years and they were getting a chance to glimpse back at a city hundreds of years in the past, full of culture and art and beauty. Vianna was distracted from her admiration of the view ahead, though, as the young man behind her spoke, sharing that he had something for her. At this, Vianna's eyebrows rose in surprise and her lips curved into a smile. "Really?" she asked, before turning her gaze to him. "What is it?" she asked, beaming curiously up at him.

Ferris gave the warmest of his smiles as Vianna spoke curiously, asking what it was that he had for her, beaming up at him in that way that got his heart to flip in his chest. "Well..." he started softly, now faced with the task of actually giving this to her. He released her waist reluctantly and took a step back, a little unsure of how to explain what he had for her. And so, instead of trying to give it an introduction, he just retrieved the black velvet jewelry box from his pocket, holding it in both of his hands in front of Vianna, glancing up at her through his lashes with a small smile on his pale expression. And then, after sharing a gaze with her, he very gently opened the nice-sized jewelry box to reveal the beautiful white gold necklace he'd designed just that afternoon. With the golden light from the bridge light posts, the small diamonds glittered up at Vianna from the smooth casing, the white gold shining, and the beautiful large white pearl practically glowed up at the couple from the center of the piece. "I wanted to give you something for our anniversary," he admitted to her softly, looking up from the box innocently to evaluate her expression with slightly hesitant brown eyes.

Vianna watched curiously as Ferris merely gave her a 'well...' before leaving her side and taking a step back. She turned around then, so she was facing him and her back was to the cityscape in the distance, watching with curious crystal blue eyes as the young man before her pulled out a black velvet box from one of his pockets. At this, Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly, and they rose further as he then proceeded to open the box, revealing the most beautiful piece of jewelry the girl had ever set eyes on, her blue eyes widening at the sight of it. She said nothing at first, her blue eyes wide and her jaw hanging slightly open with what was clearly surprise; she hadn't expected this, she hadn't been expecting a present or jewelry or anything at all, so she was completely caught off-guard, completely surprised. "Professor..." she said softly after a few moments of just standing there, staring at the necklace in the black velvet box with wide, surprised blue eyes. "I didn't know you would be..." she trailed off with a smile that only lasted a brief moment before it faded and guilt took over her instead, her forehead beginning to crease slightly as she realized something. "I don't have anything for you..." she confessed, blue eyes now washing off the surprise to be filled with guilt instead. But here was her husband, showing her the most beautiful of necklaces, one he'd gotten especially for her, and there she was standing with empty hands, with nothing to offer in return. And she felt horrible, absolutely terrible. He had been thoughtful enough to get her something, while she had been too distracted having ugly dresses thrown at her by Julia. She hadn't really expected there to be an exchange of gifts in the first place, but she should've known something had to be done; it was their anniversary. And slowly, as all of these thoughts filled the girl's mind, she seemed to shrink in size, her forehead creased slightly and her large blue eyes guiltier than ever before.

Ferris watched with anticipating brown eyes as Vianna set her gaze on the necklace he'd designed for her, watching as her blue eyes widened and her jaw dropped. He took this as a good sign, a small smile crossing onto his features as he watched her say his favourite nickname, starting to mention something else only to trail off, a smile growing on her beautiful expression. His heart seemed to leap at this reaction, his brown eyes sparkling at the sight of her in that one moment until everything seemed to go down, the level of happiness sweeping away from them. His smile fell as Vianna's own did, completely confused as she then mentioned that she had nothing for him. This didn't seem like a big deal to him, he was unable to see the problem as his brows furrowed, stupidly beginning to believe that perhaps she just didn't like the necklace and didn't know how to tell him. But then he saw it. He re-registered her words and saw the guilt that was so clearly evident in her big blue eyes, watching as she seemed to grow smaller and her forehead creased in that way that clearly meant her mind was filling up with something he didn't want there. "What?" he started, brown eyes completely saddened and worried as he gently closed the box and placed it back in his pocket to free up his hands. "Aw, Vi..." he muttered softly as he closed the space between them, realizing that she was feeling guilty for not having anything to give him in exchange. "Vi, you didn't need to get me anything," he quickly assured her as he stood before her with furrowed brows, his hands on either side of her waist.
